All candidates should have press conferences on a regular basis. Bush started a very bad precedent by having the least number of press conferences by any President.

I am a 21 year vet served in two wars and proud to fight for freedom. I have been wounded and would continue to fight for freedom. But I am a disabled vet. today it has been apparent Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed and Barney Franks have plans to add additional tax on vet retirement pension and VA benefits…Also 401k plans don’t that beat all! I guess this is the price I have paid for our country… how will I continue and survive if these three take away from me and my family what I have earned for duty honor and country! With Obama as President and a democratic House and Senate in place, we all can see our entitlements slashed and put into Obama’s socialist welfare programs. We all are supposed to be “Patriotic” and “Unselfish” to meet his income reapportion agenda.

Who is looking at 2010? My Gosh, we have to get through 2009 first! And if Bush gets his deregulation’s in before he leaves office, God help us ALL! I am not looking at any candidate. The Republicans have had their way for the past two elections and we are a nation in turmoil; corruption,financial breakdown,foreign collapse. I am giving the Democratic Party a shot for my children and my grandchildren. NOTHING will be fixed in 4-years by either candidate but I am willing to give it a shot at the starting line.

think about this, gas prices coming down. They are trying to convince us things are going to be o.k. then McCain wins and all will break loose. I hear people saying in a nut shell they should take the working class poor(the middleclass) and put them in a boat and take it out to sea and drown them. This is a sad reality.
