Biden Bats Down McCain Protesters in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, FL — Joe Biden’s first foray into Florida’s more conservative northern regions was met with a group of about 30 very vocal pro-McCain protesters, who disrupted the rally in the shadows of Florida State University’s football stadium from 300 yards away with a constant stream of chants — and a steady siren from a megaphone carried by one of the protesters.
Biden carried on for 5 minutes without mentioning the omnipresent wail, but as he launched into the section of his speech outlining just how John McCain is exactly like George Bush, he couldn’t resist a dig at the protesters’ expense
“The fact of the matter is, maybe those McCain folks can hear this, they’d be interested back there,” Biden said. “They can hear this, I’ll say it loudly as I can.”
“I thought it was a siren, it’s just a whine, I guess,” he continued to laughs. “It’s gonna be okay folks.”
But later, Biden used the protesters as an example of the types of people an Obama administration needs to reach out to in order to unite the country.
“We can’t move past the politics of division unless after this election is over, if God willing we win, we reach out to the people in the outer parking lot,” he said. “I know you find some of that obnoxious, but…, we’ve got to reach out, we’ve got to end this. Somebody’s got to be big enough to stand up and end this.”
“They’re good folks,” he said of the protesters. “They’re committed to John’s notions, but we know what they don’t know. We know that we can do this. This is not some hat trick. This is not something beyond our capacity.”
Biden told the assembled faithful that they could help shut up these protesters and others like them. “If you work with us in the final hours of this campaign all the way through to the polls closing on Tuesday. Not only will we, but they, the people in the parking lot, they’ll be calling Barack Obama something else. They’ll be calling him President Barack Obama,” he said.

Guess Obama thought the audio would never surface since it was made in San Francisco, and his commments regarding the coal industry failed to make it into the related print interview. Oops…

The only reason McCain and his folks even know about the fraudulent applications is because ACORN was the one that provided it. They were the ones who discovered the suspicious materials and therefore turned it in. They acted appropriately and because they did the right thing, they’re suddenly the bad guys?
What about all those early voting machines that mysteriously change the Obama votes to McCain votes? What about all those fliers and e-mails telling people that due to election complications, Republicans will vote on the 4th and Democrats on the 5th? What about all those supposed “lawyers” knocking on the doors of foreign-born people (who are legal US citizens) and scaring them with threats of deportation? All of these dirty tricks have one beneficiary…McCain.
Only a few articles appear here and there about these much larger and INTENTIONAL tricks…which is true election fraud, while Republicans clamor about ACORN’s fraud, which was actually not fraud at all.

Joe is a tough man and a gentleman.
I see the difference between Obama and McCain as more gut instinctive. Its not about this fear stuff being thrown around and its not about minimizing Obama into something less than McCain on the economy. Nor is it about this socialism or radical nonsense.
The polls are showing the truth here. The American people are finally seeing what McCain and Obama stand for. They see a stronger leader in Obama, something they hope for and with bated breath are hoping is not just too good to be true.
The more they see of both of them, the more this moves to Obama. With good reason I might add. You can’t watch this long and not get it that Obama is genuine, capable and altruistic.
And, you can’t miss that McCain’s campaign is all about “spin” to understate rather dramatically. The problem is that the truth is so far off what McCain needs to spin it into, that the spinning takes a legion of spiders. And the web spun from all that spinning, is just tying the ticket to the floor…..
America will be voting for the change she clearly needs. And America realizes she must vote out the partisan gridlock to ensure the change can happen. She knows the Republicans, under current leadership, are incapable of dealing in good faith on that matter. And I would say that if there is a risk with giving Obama the House and Senate, it pales in comparison to the opportunity to put America right.
Obama is seeking change. Big change, yes; but not to some new radical thing. The change is just a restoration of America to her fundamentals. A rejuvenation to her founding moral principles, to her bedrock of freedom, democracy and the American Way. It is incredible that revolutionary change is needed to restore America to her own bedrock. Indeed she has drifted, or more accurately, been driven far asunder. She is almost a fiction today, so far is she from her own truth.
Maybe we are too awestruck by Obama’s success so far to hope there could be more in this man. I think he will be able to drive forward his grass roots political movement. I will say though, and you can mark these words, that it will not be a Democratic movement, a liberal movement, or a radical movement. It will be simply an American movement that is lucid, inclusive, and cohesive….
I would not say Obama is the person America has been waiting for, but I argue he is the leadership she is waiting for…. His person and history is a great surprise and challenge for America. A surprise that I believe will ultimately delight her and a challenge, one that is long over due by the way, that she will not only embrace but meet as well….
On Tuesday, when America gives Obama the wheel, he will astutely point the train in America’s direction….
Obama will drive an American restoration. In good time, we will once again see that shining light on the hill, that glowing torch in the harbor, that open door to the neighbors, and once again that American Dream…..

Schools cannot even dispense aspirin without parental consent but Nobama has no issues with these same girls getting an abortion without consulting the parent or guardian? It is not us filling our poclets with trickle down economics. It is us understanding how the economy works, what creates jobs and stimulates the economy. Unfortunately a fair portion of the American public doesn’t understand how the economy works and has bought into the marxist view of lets take money from the wealthy so they cannot be the job creators and give that money to the lazy bums that won’t work. My grandfather considered it an embarrassment for any of our family to take handouts from the government, but then he did have integrity. Obviously from Obama refusing to release records, keepting parts of his life secret, etc., he has no integrity and does not deserve to be a father/parent, etc., let alone President.

Hey the middle class is the reason rich people are rich, for years we have redirected wealth the to the wealthy and all of that is about to change. All regular middle class Americans want is a fare wage not the peanuts they have been giving us.
