Obama’s policies of targeted tax credits, removal of SS ceiling, increased social spending, increased taxes on 250K+ will harm American businesses (especially small businesses) and they will also harm the working and middle class. Obama wants to lift the social security ceiling and he wants small businesses and wealthy individuals to cough up an additional 4% on taxes. This will take millions and millions of dollars away from businesses and individuals at a very critical time and where will the money go ? To the black hole that is the federal government? How much of this cash will the working class and the middle class see ? Large companies will pass Obama’s increases right back in the form of an increased cost of goods and services. Small businesses will pass them back in the form of reduced benefits, lower wages, and possibly a reduction of workforce. If you are a working class or middle class person employed by a small business, your job could be in jeopardy under an Obama presidency.

I am a small business owner. My company employs 30 people. If Obama wins and is able to implement his policies I will be forced to cut health care benefits, profit share benefits, 401k benefits, wage increases and will probaby have to get by with fewer employees. Explain to me how this will help my working class and middle class employees ?

Because the democrats started the give a little plan in the houseing industry and that worked well, their give a little destroyed the economy of not just our nation but ever other one that invested in ours. If you look at the tax system now the rich, as Obama likes to put it, supports most of the government and the 95% he says he is not going to tax supports about 10%. So what he is saying is the guy who puts in 18 hour days will pay 100% while the guy who works 8 hours gets his money.

I, for one, would close my business and tell all you “my name is Jimmy, give me all you’ll give me’s” to start you own company and fork out your own money, time and efforts to build it. I’d tell you all to kiss off because I would not work the hours a boss does to keep a company going and make payroll to have some jerk come in and tell me after years of doing without that now that I have I have to give it to you. I see no reason why a small business or a big one should have to give what they earned to someone who did not finish high school or that did not put into the company what the people who started it did. It takes years of hard work, long hours and doing without to get a company going and when it does get going the owners do not owe anyone their profit. Im originally from Ohio but currently living in Colorado, how funny that they’re both toss-ups! Well I hate to disappoint Republicans, but both will be going for Obama this year. All my family back at home have told me that the polling is distorted there and that the lead is actually much greater than 3 points :0) On another note, I can guarantee that young people (and people with half a brain) will turn Colorado blue this year.
