Associated Press-Ipsos Poll:Obama 44, McCain 43
FROM AP REPORT ON THE POLL:
WASHINGTON — The presidential race tightened after the final debate, with John McCain gaining among whites and people earning less than $50,000, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll that shows McCain and Barack Obama essentially running even among likely voters in the election homestretch.
The poll, which found Obama at 44 percent and McCain at 43 percent, supports what some Republicans and Democrats privately have said in recent days: that the race narrowed after the third debate as GOP-leaning voters drifted home to their party and McCain’s “Joe the plumber” analogy struck a chord.
Three weeks ago, an AP-GfK survey found that Obama had surged to a seven-point lead over McCain, lifted by voters who thought the Democrat was better suited to lead the nation through its sudden economic crisis.
The contest is still volatile, and the split among voters is apparent less than two weeks before Election Day.
“I trust McCain more, and I do feel that he has more experience in government than Obama. I don’t think Obama has been around long enough,” said Angela Decker, 44, of La Porte, Ind.
But Karen Judd, 58, of Middleton, Wis., said, “Obama certainly has sufficient qualifications.” She said any positive feelings about McCain evaporated with “the outright lying” in TV ads and his choice of running mate Sarah Palin, who “doesn’t have the correct skills.”
The new AP-GfK head-to-head result is a departure from some, but not all, recent national polls.

I WILL BE HAPPY TO VOTE FOR McCAIN & PALIN… EX DEMCRAT OF 28 YEARS.
Amazing. Everytime a poll comes out it says something different than the other polls. We won’t know anything until 11/5, and maybe later if the loser sues the winner!
I believe this poll to be the most accurate poll, thus far. What is amazing is that the race is this close inspite of an Obama $600 million war chest compared to McCain’s $82 million war chest. If Obama had accepted public financing or McCain had rejected public financing, the polls would be quite different.
I don’t even need to say this poll is biased (44% of those interviewed claimed to be “evangelical Christians”, when the US population is only 22%). November 4th will prove this poll wrong.
I read this poll early this morning Fin. What took you so long?
The funny thing about this poll is that no one really believes that its accurate.
IS THIS A JOKE?
WHERE DID YOU GET THIS POLL FROM , FOXNEWS?
MOST POLLS, INCLUDING FOXNEW OWN RASMUSSEN POLL , SHOWS OBAMA IS LEADING WITH A COMFORTABLE MAGINE, 50 - 43 . AND SOME OF THEM INDICATE 51-42 IN FAVOR OF OBAMA.
IF IT WERE APRIL 1st YOU MIGHT HAVE THINK THAT THIS IS april fool days joke.
THE SURVEYS AFTER THE LAST DEBATE ALSO INDICATED THAT MCCAIN WAS THE LOOSER.
I don’t believe polls.
i don’t believe in polls.
Obama has never served his country, and he has never had to make payroll! He has no clue about anything! Please, my fellow Americans, seek out the truth. Obama will not be good for us.
I love how FOX news latches on to this AP story. This is indicative of the FOX news policy to only publish stories that fall in line with their MO. How pitiful.
Yes! McCain and Palin will prevail
OBAMA SUCKS!!!!!!! lol he really does though
Dream on Babe ….
hahahahahah they wont even allow comments on this……FOX NEWS you guys are smart and a half! lol
It wasn’t what “Joe the plumber” asked it was how Obama in his own words responded. now this is interesting wonder if the liberal news will report this or ignore it like it does most polls that doesn’t have Obama winning by a landslide and continue to spread lies about Palin.
The liberal media cares more about how much a VP wardrobe cost than what an terrorist said even during the time he and Obama were connected.
How is it this race is still so close ?
For those who always vote republican, what would it take to realize the scale of damage done by prior votes and the last 8 years of republican leadership ?
A disastrous war, conceived in ignorance and conducted with incompetence ?
A disastrous economic philosophy (emphasising de-regulation and trickle down) facilitating a financial crash of near biblical proportions ?
A legacy of failure to lead on vital issues of climate protection and alternative energy ?
A legacy of immoral tax platforms that favor the rich and corporate ?
A legacy of Immoral disregard for health coverage of the poorest and most vulnerable?
Desperate selection of top leadership positions based on gender, placing politics first, country second ?
This is good news that explains why the liberal media has been attacking Sarah again.
What worries me more is how the Democrats are taking our voices away. Glenn Beck show was canceled with no warning he is a conservative. now the democrats want to reinstate the fairness doctrine! this means conservative voices would be hushed. We are moving closer and closer to socialism. So close that it is scary.
Between the fairness doctrine, spread the wealth, and universal health care there will be no balance if the Democrats take control of congress and the oval office.
Polls are good for the News (Opinion) Media because it gives them something to talk about. Lord knows they need something to say when you try to fill 24/7 programs.
My thinking is that if you believe that America stinks now and has for the past 8 years then I do understand why Obama is your man. That is what he thinks too. And he is going to fix it for you.
Republicans on the other hand want the facts and more to life than “What’s in this for Me”. They want the government out of their faces and to do what they were elected to do. Of course, that isn’t the way it works. The meaning of corruption has been changed to mean votes.
I am a giving person like most americans but the government would be my last choice of who does this for me, and I want no personal recognition. Giving with recognition is selfish and greedy.
Election day is when the Republicans will show up and poo poo the polls. Why bother to spread hate and disgust and pay a candidate to help you ?
My nephew, a very liberal democrat was in Columbus,Oh and was accosted by Acorn wanting his vote for Obama. He was amazed……a Barack supporter who couldn’t believe the bias being exhibited. I don’t know who he wil vote for, but I do know this is a sad state of affairs for this country when the media and organizations such as Acorn are controlling this election…why can’t obama stand on his platform and not rely on the media or this type of organization….God help us.
By the way, my nephew has not worked a day in his life….but he loves Obama’s platforlm….as I said…”God help us!”
[...] Associated Press-Ipsos Poll Shows Tight Race After Last Debate: Obama 44, McCain 43 [...]
Wow!!!
Hey Obama fans I would start to panic.
The bottom line is Governor Palin has more experience than Barack Obama. Obama has been in the US Senate only 3 years and he has spent most of that time running for President. As Joe Biden and Hillary said, Obama is not ready to be President. Moreover, Biden said that he would be honored to be on the same ticket with McCain. The voters are beginning to realize that Obama is novice and is naive.
Excellent poll. I just knew that the Liberal MSM poll that found Obama leading by 9 points had to be from a filthy den of lousy communist-sympathizing, America-hating socialistic terrorists. Who are these people from Fox News and why do they hate America? Either Fox is incredibly inept at polling or its readers are a motley collection of right wing nuts and shills for America’s malefactors of wealth. Take your pick. We report; you decide.
The press is our chief ideological weapon.
Nikita Khrushchev
I once said, “We will bury you,” and I got into trouble with it. Of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you.
Nikita Khrushchev
Is your poll based on registered republicans or registered voters. Seems to me you missed the boat on this election and the polls.
Was this poll taken from registered republicans or registered voters? Seem to have missed the boat on this election and the national polls.
McCain can and will win. God Bless America
Fox news I have two words for You…shut up…Don’t freaky make mccain happy he is looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggggg.
HONOLULU, HI)(October 21, 200
Where his white grandmother is concerned, Barack Obama talks the talk but he does not walk the walk. The presence of our investigative team in Honolulu, the first media investigation of Obama’s Hawai’i heritage in the entire presidential campaign, triggered panic attacks in Obama’s organization. Obama has suspended his campaign and plans to arrive in Hawai’i Thursday in a desperate attempt to blunt the thrust of our reporting.
We have called all of this rigmarole a “High Noon”-style Hollywood drama with good reason. By some strange karma, after our team landed in Honolulu to investigate Obama, he decided to make an emergency trip to the island, as if grasping one final time to control the inner pain and secrets that have defined his life.
With all due respect to the senator, while his grandmother may be ill, the claim that he is returning to Hawaii and suspending his campaign on that basis is a ruse to cover the more serious question of how he is trying to deal with the issues we have uncovered.
In this three-part series we strip away the media halo to expose who Barack Obama really is, and who he is not (Part One has been postponed to October 27th).

Hopefully, this is correct. The article in the AP states that” 8 of 10 Dems back Obama and 9 of 10 Republicans back McCain with Independents being about even”. If this is true, then McCain should lead in the poll and WIN the election. PLease be true! Surely Americans are too smart to put Obama, Mr. Inexperienced Wright follower, in the White House. He is no leader.
Is this person a retard or lives in closet at Fox Studio. This is information is insignificant other than t make the Repugs feel better about themselves. Always the gimmicks instead of the issues with the Repugs. It is a sad day for all and now they want to Dr. Polls to help their failing cause.
ALRIGHT! I am so glad that CNN, MSNBC, and other biased media is finally getting pay day!! They have been so biased and had decided that they were going to call the shots of how this election will turn out but pay day is here and I’m very happy to witness it.
These people have lost their credibility and it’s obvious. If you watch, their words and attitudes are so void of substance–they don’t even appear like professionals. Finally, people are putting an end to this nonsense. We are not an ignorant people and it’s good to see that these people in particular that treat their listeners that way get stoped on their tracks–it really is sad to see them try so hard to keep people in the dark and it not work anymore however, it’s about time. Especially this MSNBC’s Olberman, the lady with the new talk show (she’s really a sad), and Anderson Cooper Oh, and Larry King–I can keep going and going. I can breath a sigh of relief because people have finally caught on and are being obvious about it–Thank you. Keep going!! and radio talk show–WOW! I had never heard these people talk and it’s great. If you want to hear truth about Obama that the media is not searching out, listen to talk radio!! Again, WOW! I’m converted and I truly trust Fox news.
Sarah Palin has been a God send for the republicans. The liberal media tried to discredit Sarah but could not because of 80% approval as Govenor of Alaska. It has back fired in their lying faces. Sarah becomes more powerful each day, thanks to the renagade media. Way to go Sarah.
MY vote McCain-Palin.

FUNNY, BOTH THE POLL IN THE ARTCLE AND
YOUR MESSAGE (ABOVE) HAHA -HEHE
THE OTHER NETWORK AT LEAST WOULD SAY THAT ” your commens awaiting to be reviewed .?=! sensored..)
I HAVE PRSPONDED, SEVERAL HOURS AGO , BUT YOU HAVE NOT POSTED IT. I AM SURE THAT I AM NOT ALONE.
SOMETIES IT WOULD BETTER TO ADMIT THE REALIY RATHER THAN TRY TO FIGHT ANd JIMMI THE FIGURES.
MCCAIN, AT THIS POINT, HAS NO CHANCE OF WINNING.
HE RAN OUT OF TIME.
HE NEEDS A MIRACLE(IF THERE IS SUCH THING) TO WIN THIS ELECTION.
OBAM HAS BUILT HIS SUPPORT VERY STEADILLY, ESPECIALLY AMONG INDEPENDENTs, ONE VOTE AT A TIME, BY TALKING ISSUES THAT MATTER TO AMERICANs (I.E. MOSTLY MIDDLE CLASS)
There hasn’t been any comments yet, because the Democrats choose to ignore anything that shows that Barack Obama could lose this election.
So…um…which poll is right? They all came out today…and were reported. NBC/WSJ poll says Obama 52% leads McCain 42% by 10 points AND FOX news says Obama 49% leads McCain 40% by 9 points. ???
I’m Asian and that’s why I am all the more surprised and amused at why people are questioning Gov. Sarah Palin’s qualifications to become Vice-President when Americans over the last 5 presidencies have elected 4 governors as president–Bush, Clinton, Reagan and Carter. From my perspective with the exception of Reagan, the rest were virtual unknown personalities, a Texan rancher, a Arkansas state executive and a peanut farmer from Georgia, respectively. Did any of them have foreign policy experience?
In some countries, it’s easier to qualify for the presidency than to qualify for a low-paying desk job in the business district.
One poll can not be looked at in isolation as it might be an outlier. Look at all the polls. Realclearpolitics.com averages them all together.
I myself do believe, AP/GfI polls are more respesentive. the other polls are very d.ependable
fox news has showed there real colors.you should stand beside the rnc and smile ,thats the only party you see.get real open your eyes its not the 50s anymore ,if your goig to give the stop being onesided.you people down gen.powell for doing what he believes in .the US needs a new kind of leader.we americans see what republican are about.GO CNN AND MSNBC OBAMA 08
Wrong. The poll is skewed. Read this article.

New flawed AP poll claims McCain and Obama are tied. Will AP’s pollster take Nate Silver’s challenge?

The Associated Press has released a poll that shows a much closer race than any other poll out ther. Now, Liz “I know what kind of donuts John McCain really likes” Sidoti must have been gleeful that she was chosen to write John McCain’s “comeback” piece. (The infamous AP/McCain donut video is below.)
But, the poll doesn’t make sense on many levels. Here’s one example: 45% of this poll’s respondents are evangelicals or born-again Christians (this is on page 20 of the poll’s crosstabs (it’s a pdf):
The problem? In 2004, evangelicals/born-again Christians made up 23% of voters. But that same group makes up 44% of likely voters in AP’s poll released today. That’s almost double the number - it’s totally implausible.
In 2000 and 2004, there was a very aggressive push for the evangelical vote. In 2000, when the question was asked “Do you consider yourself part of the conservative Christian political movement,” 14% of voters said “yes” in exit polls. In 2004, when the question was changed to “Would you describe yourself as a born-again or evangelical Christian?” - the very category AP uses in its current poll - 23% of voters said yes in exit polls.
Did you get that? The percentage of evangelicals/born-agains voting in 2004 was 23%. The percentage of evangelicals/born-agains that AP included in their likely voters scenario is 44%. That’s almost twice as many. Consider that 79% of evangelicals voted Republican in the 2004 presidential elections, and we can assume that anyone calling themselves “born-again” might be more prone to voter Republican. This means AP disproportionately skewed its polling towards the GOP base. So it’s no surprise that the AP poll shows McCain doing better than in other polls.
With such an outlier, one wonders why the brain trust at AP decided to move ahead releasing this poll. But, the AP brain trust loves McCain. It’s not just Sidoti. Remember, AP’s Washington bureau chief almost went to work for McCain. He’s in that donut video, too.
As Nate Silver so clearly explains, the likely voter models being used by some pollsters, including AP’s partner, GfK, aren’t making sense. In fact, Nate has issued a challenge to the pollsters who have a wide gap in their models:
I would like to issue a challenge to those pollsters like Franklin & Marshall and GfK which in spite of all the facts above, are showing a substantial shift toward the Republicans when they apply their likely voter models. E-mail me — my contact information is at the top of the page — and tell me why you think what you’re doing is good science.
I would like to issue a challenge to the Associated Press, too: Put aside your friendship with John McCain, please. At least for the next two weeks, be the objective new source you used to be.

Mcsame and his campaign have gone too crazy and off limits when calling part of US unAmerican or not real when they are behind in polls there, this is stupid and devisive and breaks American heart.
Mccain’s brother is crazier when he says Arlington,Va county where Mccain has one of his seven houses there as communist county.
Mcsame I have news for you, you do not deserve my vote when you are insulting me and my county, I am conservative republican will vote for Obama to punish you and your weak and erratic and poor response to our biggest financial crisis. Your temper and very poor handling crisis and unqualified barbie palin are worst.
Mcstupid are you out mind defending tax cut for rich when people our loosing their jobs and homes. You do not feel our pain while having seven houses.
Academic proof of media bias http://journalism.org/node/13307
This “poll” was conducted by the former pollster of George Bush. Go Figure! This thing will NOT be close. Find Stevie Nicks and start singing “Landslide”.
You guys crack me up! Your own Fox News poll shows Obama up by 9 points and is more current than this AP poll! LOL
And the AP poll you’re referencing contacted just 800 people. Zogby sampled 1208 people yesterday and they have Obama up by 12 points!
For a “fair and balanced” look at the current polls, try looking at the poll of polls:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/general_election_mccain_vs_obama-225.html
Please stop confusing your facts. You’re really losing the respect of your readers/viewers when you post headlines like this one.
Go McCain.
Obama “will say anything to get elected”
That is right John McCain will win the election 08. America is starting to WAKE UP and know that OBAMA is a fake, and a empty suit. McCainwill win PA, OH, FL, MO, VA, NC, NV you will all see. Liberals MORONS you are all fake also. Just accept that John MccAIN is the better man!!!!! Latinos wake up also and start to notice that OBAMA is nor for the Hispanic people. Go out and vote for John McCAIN08.
Well, I offer the above url to find out how to render these incessant polls useless.
http://www.lietothepollsters.com
Don’t get your hopes up. Check out realclearpolitics.com.
This poll is a fluke. Even Fox News (!!!) has Obama up by 9 points.
Sorry McLame.
I’m a White women earning less then 50K who voted early for McCain/Palin!
I’m a registered Democrat (1972) but Obama was just too scary for me!
With no checks and balances in place and rewarding Reid, Dodd, Pelosi with the Puppet they have been waiting for, along with a Liberal Press SPELLS DEEP DO DO FOR OUR COUNTRY!
We would not even be informed of what IS GOING ON UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE!
Anyone with a Brian is seeing this as well…..only the college students and Blacks can be forgiven for not knowing any better!
McCain/Palin-08
OOOH Dear Thorhammer
r is it white germanic god of thunder. I have drink my share of cool-aid I must admit on a sunny day here in southern Cali I still sip the fruity drink no shame in it either. The old addage about know thy enemy keeps me tuned in to the Fox reality shows weather on-line or the boob-tube. I invite you to do the same however, I warn you that a strong intellect and a reasonable grasp of reality mixed with good old know how will be needed to walk in the shows of a liberal. In regards to “ The One” wait lets look at this, Thorhamer (mythology) – The One ( Matrix) ahhh Thor may I call you Thor? Well any hoo sounds to me you are a fellow sci-fi, fantasy, trekkie fan? We speak a common language, great!!! I wanted to communicate something that you and your fellow conservitives might understand. “Strength is irrelevant. Resistance is futile. We wish to improve ourselves. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service ours.” I will see you on the other side Thor don’t worry too much about the assimilation part, we promise to take it easy on you but not to easy, we wouldn’t want you to think that we are soft on criminals, not that I’m calling “R” criminals.
And you cut and pasted this article from the wire to make it look more McCain friendly. The ‘actual’ numbers in the pole (and the original article) showed Obama ahead by something like 10 points.
Despite the fact that we’re a 51/49 nation, this election will be a landslide (you can thank FOX’s heavily slanted reporting for that). Senior voters are paying close attention to Obama’s words and like what they’re hearing - just check out the polls (they know what’s best for their wallets). In the final week before the election, Obama’s going to campaign in and win Arizona which will embarrass the snot out of John. The only option the Reps have is to implicate voter fraud. Think about it - voter registration fraud doesn’t necessarily mean voter fraud.
The AP Poll is flawed to show the results they want. It makes a great news story to see the race tightening. On the same page before you can leave comments, there is another poll in related stories showing Obama ahead by 9 points. I don’t put much faith in polling because I have yet to receive a phone call and only know one person out of hundreds that I contact who was asked to participate in a poll. I really think Obama favors the AP Poll because this will make his supporters come out on election day if they see a close race. If he leads by too many points, people will take this election for granted.
Obama/Biden ‘08…the only choice for me
THE TRUTH IS FINALLY SHOWING UP IN THE POLLS. WE CAN’T LET THE DEMOCRATIC FRADULENT MONEY MACHINE AND THE LIBERAL MEDIA TAKE OVER OUR COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My sister called from Virginia last night. She said she received a ROBOCALL but that her 8 year old daughter answered the phone. She didn’t know what was going on because her daughter kept saying, “Hello? Who is this? Hello? What?” My sister took the phone from her to see who it was and it was a ROBOCALL. Although my sister and I differ on who to vote for (I’m voting Obama, she’s voting McCain), she was upset by the fact that she received this call. She wasn’t a very strong McCain supporter…she had her reservations and she THINKS she will still vote for McCain but she also stated that if any of her children hear another ROBOCALL that will be the end of her support for McCain. I have to agree with her that these messages are reaching our children and they should not be subject to scare calls or any other scare tactics. LEAVE OUR CHILDREN OUT OF THIS! YOU ARE HURTING AND SCARING OUR CHILDREN!!!!
This election is far from over. Of course the people that someone was polling in early voting lines are for Obama, that just goes along with the ACORN registrations and what Obama is doing. ACORN sold out to the democrats long ago, they are not partisan and have used federal money towards registering democrats only and trying to steal the election in doing so. What goes around comes around. Don’t get comfortable. We may not show up in masses or stand in early voting lines but we are here and we are voting, early as well, we just choose to mail in our vote thru absentee instead of standing in line with Obama voters. Go ahead and get comfortable dems, McCain is going to prevail and win this election.
I predict a Reagan come from behind win for McCain.
I know Fox love this poll, but the head of this poll was the former pollster for McCain. The polls are close but not this close, we will love to see individual state poll from AP-GfK.
It’s more like FOX is obsessed with Bill Ayers, Wright, Rezko.
if you recall, when Bush ran against Gore, the media kept saying that Gore was gonna win, that it was in the bag………………….election night Dan Rather jumped the gun and announced that Gore had won and then was wrong……………oops.
here we go again….
This is an outlyer….. all other polls have a 6-11 point spread. These guys in tank for McCain and not ashamed of it. I read something last night saying that 44% of the sample identified themselves as either evangelical or born again christians…… not a representative sample of the US. Nice try though……
Obama cleaning the floor with this guy….. they have to try to generate some momentum, but who is really undecided or switching their vote at this point? McCain has alot to haul, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, N. Carolina, Colorado, N. Mexico, Missouri……… lets vote already… I ALREADY DID!
Get real!
Pennsylvanians, don’t Philadelphia decide the election for the whole state! We know how Philadelphia will vote and why.
The rest of the state needs to vote McCain. Preserve our right to keep guns.
See this is why you are not the most trusted name in news. Everyother poll out there besides this one, along with all the polls averaged together, show Obama with a commanding lead. Now he even has the lead in states like IN, NV, NC, VA and CO.
This is why Fox news always gets called biased, they don’t always report lies, they only report 1/4 of the truth.
http://www.ipsos-na.com/news/pressrelease.cfm?id=4135 It actually states that Obama is 50% and McCain 42%.
I come here to this site just to laugh.
Forty-four (44) percent of the people polled classified themselves as Evangelical.
McCain supporters . . . I wouldn’t get overly excited by this poll.
The Chicago politics motto has always been if you can’t buy the election steal it and if you
can’t steal it buy it. I have lived here all my life (long life) and its always been this
way. Come on America get out and vote don’t let the dems and Obama steal of buy this
great Country
you mean to say that Oduma forgot to “buy” the Associated Press when his campaign purchased CNN and ABC? Oh my. What a blunder.
Could it be that there actually is an unbiased news media left untouched by the snake?
I don’t put much faith in any poll regardless of where it comes from.
I think “freelife1″ hit the nail on the head. There is a certain psychology being promoted by the Oduma campaign and that is to pretty much announce ahead of time that it’s in the bag for Oduma. This might discourgage McCain voters from bothering to go to the polls. Surprise—I think it’s going to work in reverse.
GO MCCAIN !!!
The poll has a “likely voter” bias that robs Obama of 4 points, and this article is a McCain-friendly cut-and-paste of the original (they pulled this off the AP wire). Seems funny that whoever performed the hatchet job on this piece decided to remove the actual polling numbers, which showed Obama ahead by around ten points.
Sorry Charlie, Obama still has a huge lead.
But, you know, you probably caused Obama supporters to panic and donate a few million dollars, so good on you.
Oh, and with regards to 2000, McCain’s brother isn’t governor of Florida, the Secretary of State of Florida isn’t the head of the McCain Florida campaign, we have already squashed voter supression this time around, You are not going to be allowed to throw out ballots form black peopple, over 700,000 people have registered to vote in Florida since the last election and the majority of the Supreme court wasn’t appointed while McCains father was either VP or President, and no one knew what kind of damage Republicans could do with 8 years in office, now they do.
That is why this is different than 2000!
This is great! One poll that doesn’t have Obama up by 8 or 10 points and that’s the one that shows up on Fox. “The race tightened after the last debate”?? No, actually the race is getting more and more out of reach for McCain. This really is funny. Will Fox show the new Quinnipiac poll showing Obama up 52-38% or the NBC poll showing him up by 10? Nah, they need to show our viewers that their side is still right in this thing. I just wish they would be a little more subtle about their bias sometimes.
Well, the pollster has to write something for the next day. So like we have been noticing comments lkie,, the race is not over, ops McCain running out of time, Why Obama can not close the deal, Obama is surging, Obama maintian big lead, McCain’s negative is going up,, McCain made a mistake on Palin, Obama is upt 6, etc.
Hard to believed this guys. Maybe they all work for CNN.
Do not trust the media. The race is not over . They have not shown integrity so far, why trust their polls ? Here is a job opportunity . Someone finance a true news agency !
NOBAMA! RAISE-CAIN!
Obama looks more like a Jimmy Carter rerun everyday. And for those of you that grew up in the Reagan era, all you have known are “good times.” Go back and ask your parents how things were under Carter and a Dem controlled congress, so that you don’t have to repeat the Carter nightmare via the Obama-Pelosi ticket. Obama’s new campaign slogan: “TRICK OR TREAT!”
Ok im going to be brutally honest. Republicans seem to be uneducated, indoctrinated, closeminded, judgemental, and inconsiderate. You do not even know what is best for you. You base your opinion on shallow knowledge and the indoctrination you are living. How many Americans make above 200 000 a year? Not many. In fact most of you do not make above 110 000 a year(please look at table of comparison of proposed taxrates). Obama is not a stupid man, he knows what grows an economy and the fundamentals that are needed for a strong economy. He would never take steps that would do the opposite. He just does not believe that the person who has 5 cars, or 5 houses needs a taxbreak. However under Obamas plan if you do create jobs you do get taxcredits for that. But with a Mc Cain blanket policy of giving taxbreaks to very rich individuals the nature of human greed kicks in, and that does nothing to grow the real fundamentals of this economy and to create the jobs. Joe the Plumber is the perfect example of this. He would be better off under Obamas plan if he wanted to start his own plumbing business. JUST GET THE FACTS.
Find a table of comparison of how much your tax would increase decrease depeding on who would be elected and what your income is:

unbelievable.
poll done by an McCain supporter, lol I guess this week new plan is “made up” poll. before that was “made up” Joe the fake plumber, before that “make up” Joe the average housewife that wear designer clothes and made millions on family business and charging the taxplayers money that shouldn’t be charged.
BUT i still like this poll.. Obama supporters should not be soo tempted to win he’s winning. Dont care about polls.. it’s the vote that counts. Don’t forget to go out and vote (espeically most states now have early voting). Rich people scheme of prevent voters turnout by making the election on tuesday and open only certain hours no longer work this time around.
I agree with bluespike, go out and vote. And for you Obama supportes, make sure you vote under all the alias’ that you regestered under.
