Palin: Debate and Baseball
SALEM, NH –-
On a chilly fall night reminiscent of the primary season, Sarah Palin greeted supporters on the football field of the local high school here. She told these Granite Staters that she is looking forward to her running mate’s final debate against Barack Obama tonight. Palin added that Red Sox fans know about being the underdog:
“New Hampshire, I gotta tell ya, I am looking forward to the debate tonight right here in Red Sox nation.” Palin said, “We’re just 20 days out from the election and it’s gonna come right down to the wire, and we’re counting on you because Red Sox fans know how to turn an underdog into a victor, and that’s exactly what you can help us do on Nov. 4th!”
The crowd cheered at the Red Sox reference with one supporter yelling, “Obama is a Red Sox fan!” He actually cheers for the Chicago White Sox.
The Red Sox currently trail the Tampa Bay Rays three to one and are the “underdogs.” Last week when she was in Florida she cheered the Rays much to the chagrin of the local Boston newspapers.
“A good night last night for Florida. How about those Tampa Bay Rays? That was good, that was good. That’s good for Florida. You know what that tells me, it tells me that the people in this area know a little something about turning an underdog into a victor. And we’re counting on you to help us do that Nov. 4th.”
People started streaming out of the event while the GOP Vice-Presidential was still up at the podium—perhaps to catch her running mate’s final chance to hit it out of the park.
The DNC was quick to respond to Palin’s support of both baseball teams, “Apparently this team of mavericks thinks straight talk means saying one thing to Rays fans and another to Red Sox fans. Fortunately, voters in both Red Sox nation and Florida can put a champion for working families in the White House by electing Barack Obama,” said spokesman Damien LaVera.

Typical of the DNC to say what they did. Gov. Palin was only being a good guest. I guess that the DNC doesn’t understand what that means. Sarah Palin is the Gov. of the State of Alaska and deserves more respect than what they have given.
You got to be joking who cares McCain is the man
Esta mas tonta esa mujer
Gotta Love Sarah, She is the one who will stand up for what she believes is right no matter what the odds are. She did the best she could have done with the situation she is in. Not just by saying what everyone wants to hear, she is not a baseball fan, so what? Senator Obama stands up for Rev. Wright by having his own children baptised by him then ditches him when everyone doesn’t like him. He works with Bill Aryes on different occasions for the same causes they both support but then says he is not on his side when it becomes unpopular. He doesnt know he is wrong till you tell him so. Whats up with that??? Sen. Obama is a hypocrite, he says he believes in Jesus but does not stand up for his own Spiritual leader because it disagrees with the popular croud. How can anyone stand behind someone who is such a two face? No one should think for one minute that he wont turn his back on them too!! Jo Plumber, did that tax go down easier because Obama said so??
She’s an inpiration to none of us. Way to go Sarah! Sarah Palin 2013! Woo hoo!
Tax plans for each candidate…
Obama = Welfare (moving the economy toward Recession)
McCain = Jobs (moving the economy toward Prosperity)
Were we at the same event? I didn’t hear the “red sox fan” comment or see people streaming out of the event before she was off the podium? I saw a few people with sleeping kids, a guy with a cast and a few others. You’re probably right that they were rushing home to watch the debate! She did give kudos to the Rays while making the analogy that the Red Sox could still win, just like the McCain team. You left out the entire part about the last two teams the Red Sox played had been ahead of the Sox 3-1 and the Sox pulled out a victory. That was the point of her story. All in all it was a great night, considering how many thousands of people were there.
Obama = Jobs (for average people, the middle class, and you, yes you)
McCain = Jobs (moving the jobs overseas)
McCain will take 1.3 TRILLION out of Medicare and Medicaid…
From the Wall Street Journal:
“John McCain would pay for his health plan with major reductions to Medicare and Medicaid, a top aide said, in a move that independent analysts estimate could result in cuts of $1.3 trillion over 10 years to the government programs.”

Deal breaker, McCain!!
Obama 08
Palin is a panderer. And she abused her power as governor. And her house was built (for FREE) by the same people whom she awarded a multi-million dollar contract to build the “Hockey Rink”. And Wasilla was 25Million in debt when she left office.. And her husband has access to intimidate lawmakers but he wasn’t elected. And Karl Rove picked Palin, not John McCain. And you all have your heads up your a$$e$ if you think Palin was a good choice to be a heartbeat away from the “nucular” codes. Patriots are voting for Obama.
The American people won last night’s debate. The 2nd debate was a joke. Here is what we got out of it. Obama want to redistrubute our wealth and take care of all of us just like in socialist countries and other countries leaning towards communism. He talks great (most great rulers do with big amount of followers) but his brief record in the Senate and current policies are the radical left wing of the Democratic party.
