Obama Urges His Supporters to Vote Obama, Not Boo McCain

TOLEDO, OH - Barack Obama broke from his debate preparations this afternoon in Ohio to deliver a speech on the economy. The crowd began booing at the very mention of John McCain.

“My opponent has made his choice,” Obama began to say about McCain’s decision to talk about the Democratic candidate as opposed to the economy, when it seemed as though every person in the crowd of 3,00 began to boo. Loudly.

Obama tried to continue, but the boos did not subside. “We don’t need that,” Obama told them. “We just need to vote - that’s what we need to do,” he advised. The crowd cheered.

The primary question here Senator is how many times do you want us to vote? The law says only one is allowed but your ACORN supporters seem to adhere to the rule of REGISTER AND VOTE OFTEN. Like to know your response to the fact that you once was an operative of ACORN and one of their trusted trainers and lawyers, TRUE OR FALSE?

Charlie…the real question is WHO is going to do a better job at uniting the country and fixing this economy. Obama has laid out his plan numerous times….when will McCain decide on a plan and actually present it to the American people. Now don’t get me wrong even though I plan to vote Obama/Biden, I do respect John McCain. I just hope in the next debate he actually unveils a plan his team plans to do instead of just saying his team has a plan. I think the American people independent, republican and democrats deserve that.

So to answer your original question above….Obama would like for you to only vote once. Once for the person YOU think should be the next President of the US.

Comment by Tim in PA

Charlie, there is no crime in registering multiple times

Your own Shepard Smith (FNC), said today, that registering multiple times does not mean they can vote multiple times.

I guess you can use the term “operative” and make anything sound negative. You’ve been trained well.

Read the small print in Obama’s plan. You will get tax credits not tax cuts, if you are lucky. I am middle aged and I will not benefit one iota from his plan. It is geared for lower income families and the older citizens will be paying for it. Your health care will be marginal at best. Talk to your doctor about how it will affect his practice.

Most of the republicans against Obama for biased reasons you have to realize are not the brightest Tim In PA.

Your explanation is 100% correct, because you register 1000 times doesn’t mean you can vote that many times. That’s the easiest thing to catch.

Only thing registering many times does that is wrong is that when the media states that a party has more new registered right now. That could be not accurate.

The reality though is that Acorn was hiring anyone and taking any volunteer to help in anyway possible. They picked apparently some very lazy people who were trying to save time getting real signatures.

It seems this “scandal” comes up every election cycle. Funny how there’s zero evidence that there’s ever been any real election fraud. No evidence that there’s ever been multiple votes cast by a single person. Multiple registrations, yes. Multiple votes, no.

This is an old Republican scam. It was Acorn that first brought attention to the fact that some of their registrations might not be valid, and since that time Republicans have been, typically, throwing a collective tantrum. From a phony stunt raid in Nevada where Acorn officials had been cooperating for months to a Republican election official in Missouri saying that she’s being besieged with fraudulent registration forms from Acorn in a county where they’ve not done any registration work since August.

Ah well. Children will be children and Republicans will be Republicans, and there’s not much difference between the two. Thankfully McCain has decided to try and grow up with three weeks to go. At 72 years old it’s about time.

My question to you is : Can you proove that Obama had EVER had ANYTHING to do with registering people more than once? Can you Proove that Obama has ever been involved in ANYTHING Illegal? Or are you like ALL other McCain supporters that take Speculation as Gospel? “Well McCain said it, it must be true.” Obama has prooven time and time again that he is against corruption. He has been involved in Authoring one of the greatest anti-corruption bills to be passed in Illinois in over 25 years. He has been involved in Co-Authoring a bill to make it public knowledge what spending is taking place in Senate. And now you are following the GOP\Fox News talking points of “Obama Bad” “Obama hasn’t done anything”. What a MORON.

Comment by kristen

I had a question and figured this would be the best place to ask. When I was watching fox news today I saw Obama doing his speech and I noticed the flags behind him. I recognized the American flag but it the alternating flag I did not recognize. Can anyone tell me what it was?

Comment by Kelly Flanagan

No one name can vote multiple times. The ACORN paid employees faked names to get paid. This ACORN scandal is a distraction from the real issues that we need to worry about today. I should also point out that i was ACORN that turned over the registrations that were not legit. They have not intentionally hidden anything. The ACORN model is engineered to register voters and ensure that the right to vote is available to low income voters.

Obama has shown he has ten times the class and character of McCain and Palin combined. McCain and Palin like it when their crowd goes mid evil on Obama. They would rather whip up their militia than rally all American with a positive message. Sarah Palin and her AIP should go back to Alaska.

Comment by JBSeattle

I suppose one could ask the question why these 3000 people were at a rally on the middle of a Monday instead of at work earning an income for their families or looking for a job since the economy is “so bad”. I guess it was another angry mass of lazy Americans wanting their handouts from Obama’s wealth redistribution programs. Check it out, Obama told a hard-working plumber in Ohio that he wants to “spread the wealth around”.

Doesn’t anyone in this country know that poverty and low-income are relative terms? If you raise the lowest incomes, that will only raise your poverty line higher, and now you have a whole lot more “lower income” families. Guess our education systems have failed so much for this pied piper to lead people to believe that everyone can and should be rich, fat, and happy, whether they work for it or not.

Comment by PATRICIA A CRANE

I cannot believe that the American People do not care about the past of someone that is going to run for President. I believe that whoever is going to be the President that there past shoud be an open book. Why is Obama wanting to hide his past. By hiding creates doube in my mind. Too many questions unanswered about Obama.

Comment by American_Citizen

It should not mater how many times you register. You have to go to the voters both with correct ID in Georgia.

Comment by P.Leslie.

If you all want to know what Obama is going to do, visit his website and watch his speeches. Obama will cut taxes on the middle class. He will cut taxes on small business and he will CREATE jobs through creating a new green energy program. How will he pay for it? Raise taxes on the super-rich and the gigantic corporations that have taken our jobs overseas and then are still selling their products here and making a profit off our backs. Obama is for the people. Don’t let McCain scare you. McCain is a Bush republican. He believes in helping big biz and the rich and oil companies. He is a multi-millioniare himself - and always has been rich. Like Bush. Are you better off since Bush came in? Ask yourself that, then vote. Obama pulled himself up by his bootstraps. Isnt that the American way? Just because he did his homework in college does not make him elitist! :-) It just makes him smart. Don’t we want a smart president? We NEED a smart president who knows what it is like to be without and work his way up!

We all know what the NOISE about ACORN is all about. I need someone to show me a state where you can vote more than once, please. The overzealous ACORN staffers should be punished and the method of paying people for the number of completed forms must be changed by ACORN but this RIDICULOUS dance by foxnews is sickening. Anyone hearing all the nonsense they are spurting out will think that the American electoral system is under attack. Multiple registration IS NOT the same as multiple voting. Save us the fake tears, we know you are only setting the stage for the useless court battles that will come once McSame looses the election. Someone needs to reign in the foxnews- they know this is just stirring trouble and yet they continue. I hope they are ready for a total breakdown of the voting system with the wolf calling.
FOXNEWS is junknews, enough is enough!!!!!

Comment by Jessica

Don’t worry about California- it’s Obama’s anyway, so it doesn’t matter if people votes ten times for him… that doesn’t mean he will get ten times the amount of electorate votes.

Comment by Jim_Indiana

Face it, if your mind isn’t made up at this point and you’ve paid attention all along then your just too stupid to be voting. I for one look forward to this Wednesday evenings debate for no other reason than to see which of the many John McCain personalities shows up.

Once again, Republicans will attempt to delegitimize their loss in November by claiming ‘voter fraud’. ACORN will be investigated, and they will find basically nothing. Sure, there will a small percentage of ‘duplicate’ names and possible fraud, but very small compared to the number of legitmate voters they have registered.

Obama’s plan benefits illegal immigrants more then it does American citizens. We haven’t heard much recently about his rebate checks for those not even a legal citizen of our nation. Not to mention the health care fit for senators that the illegals will get. Also, the illegals get that drivers license they’ve been wanting so desperately. Most of them don’t speak enough English to under stand concerns and issues for our nation, but they have been told what button to click for free health care, rebate checks and a drivers license. I do believe we should have packages for legal immigrants that worked hard to become legal as well as work very hard at learning our language. McCains plans do not have pretty loop holes for illegals to benefit from, and yes illegal immigrants are a real issue. Obama is the one who started the incitement about race when he and the media would not address the real issues. This election is not about race and a collective group that wants to base their vote on race, not the issues, not character. It’s Un-American to vote with the bias of a collective group and not on the issues. McCain supporters have not had their issues addressed due to a media and public bias. The tyranny of it has incited anger.

Obama shows why he’s pure class. He immediately spoke out against simple booing from his supporters while it took McCain several days to speak out against racist and hateful slurs being spewed by his supporters. Something Palin has yet to do, even though she’s the one that started this race/hate-bait tone from the McCain campaign.

Comment by martymar

Whose got time to vote all day? That said all voter fraud and voter suppression attempts by anybody or group should be monitored and prosecuted if proven. Obama supporters will be in full force looking for voter suppression. McCain supporters should look for people voting multiple times. The whole fake registration argument seems specious. Somebody has to cast the vote for the faked registration to be effective. Also faked registrations can be tracked. More likely the fake registrations are part of the liberal vs. anti-liberal ground/civil war.

Comment by Bub

proudrepub, I did ask my doctors. Both of them are very much in favor of Obama’s health care policies. They both mentioned that it was the lawyers who suck all the money out of the system, and if those medicla services were nationally backed, then it would be more difficult to steal from doctors and hospitals. Also, they both thought it was very important to keep medicine companies private, so that there is still high level of ingenuity. Fascinating. Sounds just like Obama. Furthermore, I have read the small print in Obama’s tax policies. It is extremely moderate for a democrat. That’s why McCain has to separate himself by slinging mud and cheap tricks. And just because YOU don’t benefit doesn’t mean it’s a bad plan. “Think not of what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” Try a new brand of patriotism.

Comment by jay

proudrepub…

It continually amazes me when people (especially older citizens) use the argument that they don’t want to pay for another persons tax break or healthcare… like those “lower income families”. I pay into Social Security and Medicare every paycheck… but it’s doubtful that I’ll ever benefit from it. (Those programs will probably be bankrupt by the time I retire.) But I STILL gladly support those programs that benefit Senior Citizens because it’s the right thing to do and our country is better for those programs.

I am so sick of people complaining about paying taxes… welcome to America; we pay taxes here. As for the people with more money being required to give up the breaks they have had for so long, well, suck it up. For decades the poor have been screwed by the tax system and it is time things turned around a little. If you make more than 250000 dollars a year, well, you don’t need help. Live within your means, as you have been saying judgmentally to the poor, and you will be fine. Sell the Hummer and the summer house. Rent out the Cabin in Vail and only go out to eat six times a month instead of ten. You will get by just fine. You don’t need that second bottle of Charles Krug 98. Your taste buds are ruined after the first and the food anyway. As for Doctors, screw them. I know too many orthopedic surgeons who make 600 to 800 thousand a year. Maybe if there was some regulation on salary for these guys our insurance wouldn’t be so astronomical. Maybe, oh I know this is so socialistic commie, pinko of me but, maybe, we socialize medicine, the state pays for the MD’s to go to school, and they only make a normalized wage. Wow, maybe we could test the merits and motivations of many doc’s by seeing if they truly love helping people or are just greedy control freaks.

Obama will make the poor poorer. They wont have any incentive to get off their butts, quit having more kids, and find a job Instead they will rely on the riches ability to spread the wealth to further they laziness. A vote for Obama is a vote for Free handouts

More Free money for those who are on welfare and dont pay taxes to being with? CHECK

More Free healthcare for those who dont care about their health at the expense of the working americans? Check

More money to crooked Community Organizers at the expese of taxpayers CHECK

More layoffs due to Businesses paying higher taxes and more jobs going overseas CHECK

Less money invested in the stock market and less money in the banks because of Capital Gains Taxes being increased CHECK

Everyone wants to vote for Obama because they want a free hand out. If someone wants to rely on someelse to take care of them they will be disappointed. We need to take care of ourselves.

Go look at the largest cities in America that are run by liberal governments. You will see higher crime rates, higher poverty rates, higher welfare rates, higher abortion rates, higher divorce rates.
sound pretty stinky to me.
