Extremist rhetoric a two party affair
WILMINGTON, NC — While much has been made of some of the offensive language and signage at recent McCain events, it appears that anger and insults are not confined to one party this election season.
After McCain’s rally here in the Tar Heel State, Barack Obama and McCain supporters engaged in some verbal taunting outside the Cape Fear Community College after one Obama supporter began repeatedly yelling “McCain is a murderer.”
“He fought for your right to say that,” one woman yelled.
Another responded, “it is Obama who supports abortion.”
The mini-altercation took place a few hundred yards from a sign that read “NOBAMA” featuring side-by-side pictures of Obama and Osama bin Laden.

I’m shocked that Obama and his so called surrogates spew truckloads of smear and hate speech (e.g., Axelrod, Burton and others) then have the gall to accuse Sen. McCain & Gov. Palin of “being a little over the top.” Seems to me Obama has anchored his whole campaign around associating Sen. McCain to Pres. Bush’s administration. That Obama smear campaign ad plan isn’t the first one he’s proposed that has failed to work. Fundamental question: how can anyone trust someone who associates with people who hate America? Obama and Biden have demonstrated a consistent lack of good judgment in the people they associate with.
Last week Obama wanted to raise taxes on small business. Today he said ““Democrat Barack Obama is calling for a two-year tax break for businesses that create jobs as part of a plan to heal the nation’s ailing economy.”
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D93POE7O0&...
Let me get this straight. He wanted to RAISE taxes on small business with $250,000 income a few days ago. Now he wants to give a tax credit to those same business TO CREATE JOBS. This is an ADMISSION that TAX CUTS CREATE JOBS!!!!!! He CANNOT be TRUSTED.
First, why is this news? If people want evidence of civilians name-calling the candidates and each other, they need look no further than any of these posts left on any news website. And yet Fox is trying to tie this one person’s quote to Obama? Is he really responsible for some guy on the street yelling stuff?
Second, Americans faught for our right to free speech back around, oh, I dont know 1776. We were in no danger of losing our free speech while fighting North Korea, hence, John McCain did not fight for our freedom of speech.
That is still a McCain event. Where you have inflammatory rhetorics, you have inflammatory responses.
i’d like to know what ‘personal attacks’ have been made on Obama.
His associations, his mentors, and past, are all fair game.
his books are fair game
his voting record is fair game
his platform is fair game.
that leaves:
race, sex, physical appearance.
Which of those three has the McCain campaign referred to?
You got it wrong Harris. Obama has always wanted to cut taxes for small business. The proposal for eliminating Bush cuts on those making greater than $250K is on personal income taxes and he always stated that most small business owners fall below this bracket and independent analysts have confirmed that.
Thankyou ! I am very pleased there are occasionally representatives of a free press. not ones who slant everything to Obama . That may be the scariest aspect this election revealed . It is not just a slant anymore , it is beginning to be like a monopoly and we NEED a free press to be a democracy ! without integrity in our reporters , we have a party line info center . Thanks politico for having some of the few !
To Paul
Please read and know your history if you are going to be critical of a “WAR HERO” I do not care if someone is a democrat or a republican—if they fought for this country they deserve respect. Also it was Vietnam not North Korea
McCain immediately told the crowd to cool it and that Obama was an OK guy. However Obama has said nothing about what Larry Flyn porno movie of Palin or the Tshirts warn by some of his supporters.
I believe he is behind it.

We are supposed to give OB the following:
1) a pass on his relationship with Ayers
2) a pass on his 20 year relationship with Wright (voer 1000 sermons)
3) a pass on anything to do with Acorn
We are supposed to accept:
1) banning of guns
2) higher taxes
3) wealth redistribution
4) more government
5) A one party system (Obama, Pelosi, Reed - a total democratic controlled government)
6) a socialist point of view.
Sorry–too many passes for me and to much socialism.
What about the tshirts being worn by Obama supporters? Obama has said nothing. They are so vulgar that fox won’t show them, We don’t get any coverage about this. Its alright to sexist but not raciest. This is disgusting. Any woman that votes fir Obama is a fool.
obama has based his whole campaign on guilt by association.
Paul just doesn’t seem to get it. Fighting for FREEDOM is what John McCain fought for. But I’m sure you wouldn’t understand the concept. Just as Obama isn’t responsible for what his supporters “spew”, neither is McCain. And yet, It is the far left media and (dare I say) Obama who continually portray words form supporters as words from McCain.
Barack is just a ‘post turtle’. Ya know, driving around and you see a turtle up on a fence post. You know he didn’t get up there by himself. And you wonder what fool put him up there…… Don’t be a fool.
Thats right they call it a race issue to insite it. then say it’s McCain camp doing it. all they really want to do is draw us away from the real issue and that is we are not getting a straight answer from Obama. Obama is crying wolf with the race issues thats the real truth.
The reason it is an issue is because Obama has not told his people to stop but in turn told McCain he is not playing fair by asking for the Truth with regards to Obama’s background and associations. He has not told his surrogates that they should not be saying ‘the only thing that qualifies Sarah Palin is the fact that she hasn’t had an abortion”. Did you EVER hear him apology for their behavoior or say that he wants it to stop!!! Did you see the man wearing a shirt which is so inappropriate that the TV had to block it out at his rally….hmmmm has the MSM peeped a word about this?
Instead he says, we cann’t control what people say….HOWEVER they are using the race card now saying McCain is brining out decisive actions with his supporters. McCain has shown he is a great man by saying to his people without ANY PRESSURE from anyone to be respectful. The only time Obama does anything is if he is pushed to do something…and he sees it as a way to get what HE WANTS.
Obama is a hypercritic…and I still can’t figure out where racism comes to play….Isn’t Ayers a white man?
Imagine if we asked why he is associated with Rev. Wright….I would like to see what people would say if McCain was associated with a Right Wing Radical in the same way? The media would be all over it!!
WAKE UP AMERICA!!!
If you have EVER been to a rally or political event, there are usually two sides screaming at each other! Please! Was Obama inciting it and standing right, encourgaging it? No.
Also, Mr Harris you are wrong. Obama NEVER said he would raise taxes on small business making over $250k, McCain/Palin keep saying that and Obama keeps saying that is wrong. The tax increase on individuals making over $250k is a Social Sec. tax, which employees pay. You know for those checks you get when you retire? So it has no effect on small business owners. If you would like to compare the two candidates taxes plans, I suggest taking a look at this:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/story/2008/06/09/ST2008060900950.html
It is best to make an informed decision, based on your own research on the topics at hand.
I am sure that Obama has a team following McCain to cause problems at all of his campaigns.
Obama is a man of hate and creating riots as he orgainized the riots with his cousin in Kenya.
This election is bringing out the ugliest side of America. People wearing T-shirts saying Sarah Palin is a c-word, disgusting! People booing when she throws out a hockey puck and her 9-year-old daughter is with her? Disgusting! I was reading an article on Berts Post and there is news now of Obama being engaged dealings with yet another terrorist! http://www.bertspost.com. If Obama wins, it will be a win for the worst America has to offer!
You see what McCain and Moose-Jaw Barbie started!!
Obama can not be trusted he can’t even prove he is eligible to be POTUS.
Check Berg Vs Obama.
This is misguiding journalism. One protester outside of an event does not speak for an entire party.
Mark Harris: Oh noes! He can not be trusted! He’s an A-rab!
Jessie: The ignorant McCain supporters don’t trust him because he’s not white. God Bless America, land that I love…
Don’t be dumb.
Wow, you guys are trying real hard to make Barack look bad, but you’re failing just like your candidate’s campaign.
I don’t think the problem exists with anyone claiming their supporters have clean hands on either side. The problem exists when the campaign rhetoric is inciting this type of activity directly. Playing these guilt-by association cards stoked the “un-American” sentiment held by supporters. This is clearly reflected by the crowd comments based on the rhetoric given. If this wasn’t true, you would have to ask yourself why the McCain/Palin rallies no longer focus on these topics, or even why McCain himself was booed while he was setting the record straight.
I’m an Obama supporter but I had great respect when McCain came out saying enough is enough, the unwarranted comments needed to stop. Obama responded in kind to say he was grateful for McCains actions.
Now as it has been said a million times over… Back to the issues that impact American Citizens.
All this hate started with Palin and her comments!! She should take a good look at her husband past and so as the Republican Party before casting the first stone!! Todd Palin’s idea for Alaska !! Alasksa a country of it own seperate from the United States!!
Jessie - you missed the point. Anyone who questions or criticizes Obama is a racist, and blacks just can’t be racist - because they’re black.
I can’t believe you don’t know that already.
Does no one spell check any more?
Most of my republican friends have only recently begun to COME OUT (if I may steal a term from the left). The tension and frustration that has been building is justifiably beginning to make itself known. For years, the word republican has been like a dirty word. You don’t dare mention it for fear of being bombarded with hateful attacks from the KOOKS on the left. As if caring about the things that make this country great is a bad thing. I applaud those who are willing to stand up and fight for what they believe in. When someone is wrong you tell them they are wrong. when someone is hanging around with undesirable America haters, you say so. Of course the left doesn’t think it matters because hanging around with America bashers is cool on the the left. (they just can’t say it out loud..would’nt want to lose that strangle hold they have on their voters)
John McCain and Sarah Palin KNOW EXACTLY what they are doing by inciting “racial baiting” at their rallies. Come On… even Ray Charles could have seen this coming. When you have been as erratic as the McCain-Palin ticket has, AND you 10 points behind in EVERY national polls AND your favorable ratings have hit the toilets. DESPERATION SINKS IN AND IT’S NOT VERY PRETTY. John McCain sent Sarah Palin to these rallies with a MATCH that lit the fire!!
For John McCain to NOW play the “innocent victim” is NOT resonating with VOTERS. Americans are NOT buying his “terrorist” attacks. Bottom line.
Mark, you obviously have little knowledge how taxes function. You need to go to Barackobama.com to read about his tax proposals. He is proposing a tax cut in income taxes for some, this will result in increased consumer spending, an increase in the gross domestic product, and more jobs. The people making more than 250,000.00 will have a tax increase in their income. But let’s face reality, politicians talk about that number as if it’s the magic number. The majority of income earners who earn at least 250,000. A year earn much more than that amount.
If you are inferring that Obama doesn’t think tax cuts create jobs, you’re wrong. As far as I have seen, he has never said that. However, he said that certain tax cuts create jobs and stimulate the economy. Most of the tax cuts for the wealthy that McCain supports will not affect jobs, it will only affect their profits, the notion that many would lose their jobs is the rich are taxed is a lie that the Republicans are spreading. A company’s employees are their best asset. Do you really think they would lay off employees if they face a decrease in profits (profits that were possible as a result of their employees?)
Anyone like Mccain that has supported the Bush fiasco in Iraq does have blood on their hands. That is the truth not an extreme statement.
Mark Harris your right wing spin is nonsense. Hey Jessie Republicans have said he pals around with terrorsits. That is fair game? No idiot that is an outright lie.
Mark Harris your right wing spin is nonsense. Hey Jessie Republicans have said he pals around with terrorists. That is fair game? No idiot that is an outright lie.
I attended the town hall meeting today in Wilmington, NC. I was overjoyed with the support for John McCain! The lines wrapped around the block, it was a full house, everyone present in the room was applauding constantly and standing in praise for our Republican Presidential Nominee! It was invigorating to see all of the young people, middle aged people, older people, men, women and Veterans in attendance to support John McCain. It was great to turn off the news, tune out the radio and see the tremendous support for the candidate who seems to be a little behind in the national polls. There were only two Obama supporters outside that I witnessed personally and they were just negative and nasty. No one waiting where we were had anything to say, except “get a job”. John McCain was energetic, passionate, well spoken and well received. I was honored to hear him speak in person and Cindy McCain was elegant as usual! Thanks for coming to Wilmington! Go McCain/Palin 08
Why is it OK for McCain to question about Obama’s judgment and truthfulness about William Ayers? Why you do not question McCain for his judgment and truthfulness about his infidelity with his first wife Carol, his dating Cindy for 10 months while he was still living with Carol, him applying for marriage license before his divorce from Carol? I appreciate his service to our country, but I think he is a cowered when it comes to treatment of women and disables. People have right to know the real John McCain and his character.
There is a huge difference between a candidate inciting a mob and some guy yelling insults on the street. The two don’t come close to being equal.
Obama flips every week on what he is wanting to do. Can’t believe him. He will do anything to get his socialist agenda into the whitehouse. Michelle is useless she has done nothing for America because it is a mean country. Don’t let Obama pull and O.J. on us. Just vote no for Obama, he is bad for America. He has questionable character and no resume. He made 12,000 a year after harvard, that tells me plenty: Lazy.
Obama is trying to avert the truth as a smear campaign on him by McCain. Stop crying obama. I have some hankerchiefs for you. The truth is Obama is an arrogant idiot with a socialist agenda that is spreading racial hatred.
I am fed up with this so called leader trying to be our leader of the free world. We can not allow him the presidency.
I noticed McCain began attempting to tone down his crowds. Perhaps the Secret Service had a chat with McCain and Palin.
After seeing online and on the news the t shirts proudly worn by three boys and one girl calling Sara Paling c**t Obama and his campaign can no longer claim the high road. Nothing from the Obama campaign as I know of yet in regards to defending Palin. As for these young kids, they seemed proud of themselves but I would caution the boys as they will be fathers someday and that word will become disgusting and frightening for them as their daughter grow up. As for the young girl I would just say, “if that isn’t the pot calling the kettle black” I don’t know what is!
Good call Jessie. Anything that McCain has said are all things that are public info anyway.
McCain is doing nothing but bringing things to the American peoples attention.
Obama has not yet been able to explain anything. The only thing they can do is accuse McCain of being desperate. Because they know everything that McCain is bringing out in the open is the truth.
Obama told his supporters two weeks ago to “get in their face and argue with them,” and there are no issues. McCain exposes OBama for the 4 separate lies he and Axelrod told about Bill Ayers and McCain is playing with fire. Will it be plaing with fire if Obama were to be elected and someone have the gaul to disagree with the Great Obama? We should just turn over our paychecks to the socialist and be happy that he might give us a few crumbs to feed our family. Change will be what you have left from your paycheck when he finishes rebuilding Chicago with your children’s future.
Jesse are you blind?
“The mini-altercation took place a few hundred yards from a sign that read “NOBAMA” featuring side-by-side pictures of Obama and Osama bin Laden.”
Jessie,
Are you kidding me the GOP are a bunch of fear mongers. How do you think they won the last election. Both sides strech the truth for sure. But the republicans blatantly do it in a way that is teaching people to fear what they don’t know. That is the definition of ignorence.
The GANG - CULT like followers of Obama - are SCARY! And the obama camp thinks McCain is too negative - his events are out of line???? How about groups like ACORN - do they look like the McCain “type”???? Were any of the millions of FRAUDS that registered to vote - were they for McCain - or a DEM????? WHY is that?????
VOTE McCain - we can TRUST him.
I feel that Obama incites hate and racism! He is not for free speech and is for his way or no way at all. Also brain washing the young seems to be the only thing he can do!
Mark Harris@3:57 pm
I think you - or your sources - cannot be trusted. As a Republican I have been watching Obama and McCain like a hawk. McCain has no dignity and no feel for the real world. McCain’s brain is nothing but a disorganized mess and so is his campaign and his policies am sorry to say. He is happily ruining the Republican Party as well. We will loose many seats in the Congress because of him. For the first time in my life I will vote Democrat and actually, I feel good about it.
When McCain says: ‘We’ve got them where we want them’ ..’ I whip his you-know-what’.. you know the guys is a lunatic..
Hey, you’ll I’d just like to respond to Jessie’s comments, first I would say that personal attacks have nothign to do with running this country, however if you want to here is what I have to say about it. Sen Obama’s associations are fair game, but when you send a message of this type then you must ask the question of, What policy issue will he adapt because of his associations with Bill Ayers, so do you feel that Sen Obama will set up bombing plans with Mr Ayers
I want my party back! Those extremist nut-jobs makes us all look like a bunch of idiots. Frankly, Obama deserves to win. The democrats hate-speech is not near as radical as some of the things I’ve seen at the dimwit Palin rallies on YouTube.
Buckley is right. Republicans for Obama!
Hello! I attended this town hall meeting this afternoon in Wilmington, NC. There were only two Obama supporters that I witnessed hanging around outside. The only response to them from the group standing where we were was “get a job”. There were so many McCain supporters that the line wrapped around the building and around two city blocks! It was very encouraging to see so many people of all ages, men, women and Veterans coming out to hear John McCain! Thanks for coming to Wilmington! It was a privilege to hear John McCain speak in person and Cindy McCain was elegant as always! In the room, Senator McCain was energetic, positive and drew constant applause! I am so pleased to see this first hand especially with the national media trying to imply that the race is over with Obama as the victor. I feel more sure than ever that John McCain will fight the fight of his life to win this election and will be our next US President!!! Go McCain/Palin 08
TO Mark Harris:
No, he hasn’t changed his stance. This plan has been on his website since his nomination as the Democratic Nominee. It has consistently said that he proposes tax cuts on businesses who create jobs IN AMERICA. If you check out his economic plan, he proposes tax cuts for companies who maintain AT LEAST 2 times the number of jobs in America as they outsource oversees. Thus, if you have 200 jobs in Mexico and only 50 in America, you don’t get a tax break.
wow….this really is a fox blog site. I think I have campaign fatigue as I do not have the strength to argue all the wrong I see here….
Let me just leave you with this thought; intelligence counts here….the Ayers association is so flimsy, even Mccain doesnt have the strength to keep bashing it over and over again. What I hate seeing is people easily lead to wrong conclusions.
Oh, and heres another litmus test :If your first instinct is to get angry over people who have a different opinion, maybe you need to do some reflection on beliefs. I like ideas better…..an idea has a better chance of being open.
Too zen?
Go Mccain
If the left thinks that Ayers is such a bad guy that the mere mention of his name incites violence, that only serves to emphasize the importance of highlighting Obamas relationship with him
False equivalency is the new Fox mantra. Obama is responsible for what some guy says outside a McCain rally. Give me break.
Well guess they told Obama followers who really supports hate crimes. This is funny man McCain supporters have guts
.
I would like to add Obama has been caught in another lie about ACORN the camp first put the over 800,000.00 donation down as campaign cost and lighting cost. When busted they tried to deny it until the record was shown to them. You know what they say now? It was a “clerical error.” LMAO
He keeps flip flopping on issues and I am confused where he really stands on drilling, when life begins, taxes, health care and government involvement in our lives.
Can anyone tell me is he going to tax or isn’t he?
Didn’t McCain say all along not to increase taxes on businesses for they create job that employ Americans. he said getting our own energy you know (all of the above) is the way to independence and security.
Hey you might like to know Obama is more like Bush than you think,
… MSNBC’s Carlson claimed Obama “sounds so much like Bush” that “they appear identical”. this was in 2007
in which Obama stated that “[i]f we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and [Pakistani] President [Pervez] Musharraf won’t act, we will”
http://www.mediamatters.org/items/200708030009
CNN reports Obama and Bush are not so far apart
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/13/wall.bush-obama/index.html?section=cnn_latest
yea Obama needs to be careful or it could backfire on him.
I have yet to hear McCain or Palin bring up the race card or say anything racist! From everything I am seeing and reading, it is Obama himself, his supporters, and associates who are continuously throwing the race card into this politiacal campaign.
As much as the liberal media watch dogs are continuously looking for slip ups from McCain and Palin, if either one of them had ever said anything that slightly resembled a racist comment, it would have been all over the television newscasts and would have been a front page headline in every newspaper in the nation.
I want to know why the media is not reporting on Obama and all of his past associations and questionable dealings.
How can the media be supporting a man who has questionable associations with individuals who have been linked to extreme racist organizations. Where is the outrage? Where are all the so called “polically correct” reporters?
Come on America! Wake up and speak out! Stand up and speak against what is going on with the media in this country. They are one sided in this presidential campaign. I thought the media were suppose to report on the facts, not what they want you to believe.
McCain and Palin are real, not fake, what they say they want to achieve, they both speak form the heart, and they both will fight to get this country back on it’s feet again. They are not going from town to town across this country changing their speeches based on what they feel the audiance wants to hear. They are truely for America. I cannot see that Obama is for anything or anyone but himself and his racist associates.
By the way, the media and Obama and his associates are running around saying the Replicans have gotten our county in the crisis in the past two years. Last time I checked, the Democrates have been in control of the House and Senate for the past two years. History shows that everytime we have a Democratic majority House and Senate, our country’s economy goes to pot!
If you want to know the real candidate, research them yourself. The internet has all the information you need to know. Go to the truth about Obama and McCain. Don’t go to their political websites. They only put what you want to hear on them.
I find it ridiculous that this is even a news report. Instead, why isn’t the media reporting on the past and current associates of Obama? Why aren’t they reporting on his questionable dealings with extreme racist individuals. It seems everytime he is caught associating with a racist, he either cannot remember being associated or makes a comment that the Replublicans are trying to make a racist comment and cause trouble for him. It is his campaign bringing up the race card. McCain and Palin have never said anything even close to a racist comment. With all the “Watch Dog” reporters out there, I am sure it would have been plastered all over the front pages of every newpaper in this country and broadcast on every newsreport on television and internet.
Come on America! Wake up! The media is ruining this presidential election.
Why aren’t they screaming for all the pre election early votes to be thrown out and redone? There is a lot of fraud going on and the media is right in the middle of it allowing it to go on. Where is the outrage from the American public?
McCain and Palin are for the American people. Obama is only out for himself and his racist associates!
FARRAKAN CALLING OBAMA AS YOU “THE MESSIAH” THERE IS SOMETHING DEFINITELY WRONG HERE. AS STRANGE AS IT SEEMS FARRAKHAN, BILL AYERS AND RESKO LIVE ON THE SAME BLOCK.
Bill Burton: have you asked your candidate to tell his heathens to knock it off?
Hey Redburn: Don’t you think Obama’s heathens should tone it down too? You know the crazier the crowds get the more chance of some accident. Obama by his very being insites problems.

Obama is telling the sheep what they want to hear. He cannot perform on any of these wild ideas of his. The sheep think there is money in it for them. They don’t know we won’t pay for it.
I have noticed many wild eyes far left “soros”
liberals are coming on the fox blogs. wish they would go back to Politico where they belong. Esp
ecially the “kids”.
Wish we could deport Obama and Soros and all the “moveon.org” radicals.

I own a small clothing store and had to ask an Obama supporter to leave recently. He called Sarah Palin a “c**t” in a loud voice while I had a store full of potential customers, some with children! I saw him a week or so later and he made a big deal out of pointing out that I was “that lady who told me to leave her store” to several of his friends. Then he said “the only reason Sarah Palin is popular is because she DIDN’T have an abortion” and then laughed. I corralled him and told him the day he grows a uterus, he has the right to make comments about a woman having or not having a baby. On top of his being a guy, he is a gay guy. Double the argument that he has no standing to make any kind of call on the issue of having a baby.
I now understand there are people wearing t-shirts that repeat his crude comment about Sarah Palin. This country has gone to hell and the Democrats are driving the bus.
I’m really upset with the polarization that has plagued this country. And Sarah Palin, SHE is fueling this. She is ignorant, inexperienced, and exactly what we don’t need in this country. I don’t like Obama’s healthcare plan at all, and I don’t like McCain’s view of the future of Iraq. But it doesn’t matter, as soon as McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate, I made my decision. I will be voting for Obama in November. The thought of her running this country is downright scary, and I just can’t have it.
Fear and hate have won for the repubs for the last 28 years
its a tough habit to break
Now they have thier own no.1 news network to promote it
And and they still blame others for thier loses
Sorry my friends but trikle on economics is over
God I am rambling just like sarah

I guess we are not allow to mention McCain’s roll in the Keating Five scandal? The Senate Ethics Committee found McCain’s involvement of “poor judgment”. If that is the kind of quality you want in a president, then good luck to you!
Actually J Richter, it’s you that has it wrong. Obama never has wanted ANYONE to have a tax cut and most of the people in his targeted “tax cut brackets” pay nothing in taxes now and still get a refund. He showed this weekend how little he really knows about what he says and proved that all he wants it good soundbites. Now he’s promising to eliminate capital gains taxes from small business that create new jobs. If he bothered to look into taxes at all, small businesses don’t pay capital gains on their growth and most small business are either privately held or one has to be a qualified investor to take ownership. No small business that I’ve seen has paid capital gains taxes on their own growth. Looks like Obama’s already eliminated that before he took office.
If the media would really look at what he says and how little he makes sense, they would quickly learn that it is truly he who is not propared to lead this country and it scares me to think we may just have to watch him try and implement some of his own soundbites.
“Didn’t McCain say all along not to increase taxes on businesses for they create job that employ Americans.”
Oh right….and this has worked sooooo welll this last eight years, right?
the Fox news has done a fabulous job for Obama. they have tried to knock him down with a bigger punch until they dont know what to do.fair and balanced but unbalanced.

Clearly you missed the old man carrying a stuffed monkey with an Obama sticker on it at a Mccain/Palin rally. When he realized a camera man was zoning in on him, he ripped the sticker off…….well, at least he had enough sense to be ashamed of himself.
Dont try to pin the “they’re worse than we are” pin on Dems……..Reps are just as bad
It is amazing how the Obama fans have no substantive posting, while McCain supporters post legitimate posts. By the election, Obama’s “package for the people” will cost each family. He cannot pay for it, he has already said he cannot. So what is left for him to be elected? Nothing. He cannot make companies stay in the US, and if he pushes companies will release workers to compensate. In fact, Obama will make my bottom line bigger, because I sell automation equipment. This equipment will be cheaper than employees. I know at least 10 companies asking for quotes. They said they could release 60% of their workforce. Go Obama!
I notice many of the “posters” speak of a unbiased press. I think we all know that Fox and CNN are pretty biased toward one side or the other. Being 57 I remember when news was sinply deivered in monotone and left the viewer the choice of self-sensationalism.
I was listening to a story the other night on one of the news channels. The young “talking head” was reporting onn a story that did not affect my life one iota. I noticed myself being pulled into it by his sheer zeel in draining every last sensational drop from it. And so it goes, with competing 24 hour news services.
With regard to the upcoming election, It is my hope and prayer that once it is over, each one of us can stand behind the election winner. I say this “tounge iin cheek” because I know that each party employs many intelligent people whose job it is to make anything the other party does fail. That doesn’t say much for our country, does it?
To Bulu: If you got to know the character of any of our politicians you would be very disappointed.
As for the rest of the topic, I am in shock that Americans and our representatives that voted Obama in are not even interested in his associations with Ayers and ACORN. It is like they don’t want to believe it. Above all, Obama is the best the democrats could come up with?
I thought I will read Fox news because of their claims of being a balanced news media. And then I read this and realize that Fox leans so far right that they would not know balanced if it hit them in the face.
A mob of McCain/Palin supporters in a rally versus three people in the street. You tell me how that is even close to balanced.
You think that McCain will be beat…don’t count on it! Everyone said Bush would not win his second term…Everyone thought McCain was left for dead during the primary. Well Lord and Behold Bush won his second term, McCain won the Republican primary he came up from behind lake a snake in the grass and clinched the primary. The best think is don’t count him out just yet, remember America always loves the underdog. America will pick him up and will carry him across the finish line…just wait and see!
