At one time I was Pro-Choice but after having to hold a beautiful baby girl, that her 23 year old mother didn't want. The lifeless body wet and cold so little so unwanted but yet she had the face of an angel. What a wonderful future this child could have, with just a little chance. I put the body in a bucket marked as medical waste, cried and quit my job . After 20 years I still think of that little child. I am now and always will be prolife.

Palin Speaks Truth About Obama and His Support for Unrestricted Abortion

Here are the facts: Modern science leaves no excuse for anyone to deny the humanity of innocent pre-born babies. Therefore, the call for the protection of innocent human life is a demand for justice, it is not, as Barack Obama and Joe Biden falsely claim, an imposition of personal religious convictions. This is not an issue of religion, it is an issue of justice. Let us face reality, every day in the United States, 4,000 babies are violently ripped apart, limb by limb from their mother's wombs, and Barack Obama has the audacity and arrogance to say that this practice of ripping babies out of their mother's wombs is acceptable because women do not deserve to be punished with a baby?

Barack Obama's views on babies as being a punishment for women are totally despicable!

If Palin practiced and preached contraception in her own family, she wouldn't have to face the ugly reality of abortion, nor the blind alley of teenage parenthood, nor the heavy burden of caring for a special needs child. Her family's experiences stand as testament to the bankrupcy of her beliefs. Abstinence as a public policy is a prescription for more pregnancy and more abortion.

I am more and more impressed with Sarah Palin EVERY day. I am a proud Catholic and a proud McCain/Palin supporter! Any Catholic that you know that is voting for Obama is clearly and simply participating in evil and is NOT following the teachings of the Catholic church. The fact that so many people are able to take a stance of being "Pro-Choice" is because their mothers CHOSE to give birth to them and were clearly "Pro-Life." Just imagine... if so many of these aborted babies were given the opportunity to live, who knows the things that they could have accomplished in this world! I believe in the value of life, I believe in Sarah Palin, I believe that McCain/Palin WILL make our country a better and safer place to live!

Obama wants to legalize partial birth abortion, anyone who is for this is either ignorant or in denial. This is where a baby is delivered 99.9% of the way. Then the abortionist stabs the baby in the back of the upper neck with scissors and sucks out the brain collapsing the skull. Anyone that is for this is ons sick Fuc$. By the way Obama zombies, don't you find it odd that he is such a extreme liberal yet he apposes gay marriage? Don't you see through this stuffed suit who only opposes gay marriage because 51% of the country opposes it. Had it been 49% he would be all for it. He is so phony, shallow and has made suckers out of so many people. America is being hoodwinked and bamboozled.

Sierra, I think Sarah Palin is addressing the stated view of Obama. She is exposing his views, his voting record on the issue of life. And that is part of the campaign since it is his record/McCain's record which needs to be exposed. In this case, her record also. Did it occur to anyone that with 40 million more people in the U.S. we would have a bigger tax base? Would this not affect our economy? Is whether or not we protect the vulnerable and helpless not an issue of grave importance in any society? Can we trust someone to protect us if he/she is not willing to protect the helpless? The McCain administration will not overturn Roe vs. Wade, although "Roe" herself would overturn it if she could! Societies which devalue humans and see them as objects to be exploited, whether they are adults or children, are heartless, devoid of compassion, self-serving and untrustworthy. If it is babies now, will it be the aged, the disabled, the people of faith next? Where will it lead?

Face it. It's the only thing she's got. I, however, think she's got her own explaining to do. She flew to LA at the end of her third trimester of a fifth preganancy (that we know about), and when her water started leaking, she decided to ignore it so she could give a speech. Then after the speech, still leaking, she flew back to Alaska instead of seeking medical attention in LA. The plane even had a stop in Seattle betwen LA and Alaska. I know of no woman who would exercise such negligence as that. Did she want to lose the child? Jeopardize his ability to live? How long had she known it was going to be a Down's Syndrome child? In photos that were supposed to be taken in the second and third trimester, it's hard to tell she was even pregnant. Was she trying for low birth weight baby and thus one not so strong?

I hope she addresses this and also gets around to protecting those who have been born and are receiving low to no health care. If she cares about life, she'll want to change that. She can start with Alaska.
