Fox news does report what is important, but democrats don’t want to listen. Richard Petty may not be as big of a celebrity as Oprah but he does have a following. As for me, I am a registered democrat that got smart way before Richard Petty made this announcement and I will be voting for Senator McCain. I don’t see how any person that calls themselves an American can vote for any other candidate.

I do have faith that the honorable John McCain will be our next president. Obama is unproven and is not even done with his first term as senator. Common and hard working americans will vote for McCain/Palin. Clinton when he ran he said the exact same lines as Obama is saying now except Clinton said people making 200 thousand or less will not see an increase in taxes. Obama is now saying people making 250 thousand or less will not have an increase in taxes. Well guess what it was the people making 200 thousand or less that ended paying more taxes. Clinton blamed it on the media that the media had wrong. He did not keep his word, so I don’t think Obama will either because of the economy. Our taxes will go up. I am a middle class earner. I make alot less the 100 thousand.

Veronica, I share your faith and hope that enough people will wise up and realize that John McCain is the kind of person that we need leading us during this time of crisis. Sarah Palin is just who we need to help him. They make a good team. I am afraid that it is going to be an up hill battle for them though. I tried to leave a comment earlier, which was, I admit, extremely plain speaking. What I am writing in my revised letter is this: Who cares? I find it incredibly ludicrous that anyone, even redneck hillbilly joes and janes six-paks would take into account a NASCAR racer’s endorsement of a candidate other than that of a rural deputy sheriff who is related to both of them. Or, I am giving them too much credit? Me being a fair and balanced Democrat that I am.

Nobody should vote because someone they admire, trust, love etc endorses or is voting for a certain party. It makes me sad when people throw votes away like that. Research each one of these things. Is Obama raising taxes for everyone? What is Acorn and how was Obama involved. What is Obamas connection to Ayres. Most of this stuff is completely false or twisted in some strange way just as a lot of the stuff about mccain is. They are both strong candidates in there own way.

Personally I’m voting for Obama. I don’t see how giving the rich hundred thousand dollar tax breaks while giving the average american a few bucks extra is going to solve anything. I also don’t agree with Senator McCains stances on the economy, the war, and I don’t know if I can trust him to really reform washington when he has proven how tactless he can be in this race.

Thats my opinion though, so do with it what you will.
