Palin Sits Down with FNC
CINCINNATI –-
In the same week that Sarah Palin did her first press conference with her traveling press, she also appeared twice on Fox News Channel in interviews with both Greta Van Susteren and Sean Hannity. Greta asked John McCain’s running mate what was the hardest decision she ever had to make and the most agonizing one.
As for her most agonizing decision she ever made as Governor, “Whenever an issue has to deal with personnel, whether to keep someone on, or whether to ask them to step aside so someone else can come in and take their place. Because, you know, sometimes it gets personal, sometimes it gets political.” Palin said, “But replacing someone in a cabinet, sometimes that is agonizing. But you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. Putting the people who hired you first, you’ve got to make sure you have the right team around you so that you can best serve them.”
Although she did not mention it directly she could have been referring to the investigation known as “Troopergate,” which is examining whether Palin abused her power to fire her public safety commissioner. The report is scheduled to be released today, but the campaign put out its own pre-emptive analysis clearing the Alaska governor of any wrongdoing.
As for her hardest decision she said she did not know, but offered her best one, “The best decision was about five weeks ago, though, when being asked if I wanted join Senator McCain in this opportunity, a challenge, a responsibility, but an opportunity to get to affect positive change that this country is due,” Palin said. “Americans are craving this, they’re deserving this, and we’re committed to being on their side.
Greta also asked Palin about her recent attacks on Barack Obama where she attempts to link the Democratic nominee to 1960’s radical Bill Ayers. Greta asked if it was her job to hammer the link and she answered in the affirmative, “This association is pretty significant and it’s kind of telling regarding someone’s judgment that they would working with, associated with a domestic terrorist who had campaigned to bomb the United States Senate and our Pentagon and this is an unrepentant domestic terrorist. That’s the scary part about it!”
Palin went on to question Obama’s “truthfulness and judgment” as she has been on the campaign trail.
Palin was also asked about Obama’s connections to Reverend Wright and she said that was for the top of the ticket to bring up, “That’s John McCain’s call on that one also, though, whether he wants to discuss that association and some of things that that reverend has said about our great country.”
Greta asked Palin about mistakes the Bush administration has made. She blamed Congress as well, but did say that “government growth” was “too rampant” and “too aggressive.”
In Palin’s interview with Sean Hannity her running mate joined her. She accused both members of the Democratic ticket of flip flopping on alternative sources of energy, “All of a sudden saying that we need clean coal and we need to offshore — he’s so on record as having opposed, and Senator Biden also, having opposed those.” Palin said, “I think Barack Obama was drilling for votes. I don’t think that he’s too keen on drilling for those sources of energy that we need.”
John McCain told Sean that he would visit the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge and possibly reconsider changing his stance on drilling there because Palin has been “so persuasive” on the topic. The Alaska governor supports drilling in ANWR.
The GOP ticket questioned Obama’s judgment again citing Bill Ayers, but also what McCain said was “his willingness to sit down” with enemies of the United States which he says gives “them legitimacy.”
Hannity asked Palin about Obama’s relationships with Father Pfleger, Tony Rezko and Revered Wright. McCain has said that he does not think Wright should be part of the campaign debate and Palin told Greta it was up to McCain to bring up. But, Palin said she was “concerned” about the associations, “Concerned about it because, again, somebody’s track record says so much about who they are and where they want to lead this country.”
The GOP ticket ended the interview with Hannity by proclaiming themselves “underdogs” and saying they were happy with that because it makes them “ work harder.”

Wow! She did two interviews with the FNC that is impressive. Maybe she should try venturing out to uncharted territory that maybe will give her some credibility. Sean give me a break and Greta what not much to say there.
Hey guys, have you seen this new Sara Palin
video? As a Life Long Conservative and Republican
this really bothers me….I can’t bring myself
to vote for her after seeing this…..am I wrong?

FOX IS LAME!
Wow, tough questions from Fox news. How come these two did not ask Palin about her association with the AIP terrorist group (her husband was a member and she addresed then while govenor) or McCain’s Keating 5 membership - both certainly more recent than Ayers.
You all have to see this and make sure you send it to everyone you know.

Tell me who and what he is again !!!
FNC = Facist News Channel
This is exactly why most Americans don’t take Sara Palin seriously as a candidate and why doubts about her ability to lead continue. She is doing NOTHING to ease people’s doubts. She needs to be out there answering questions from voters, reporters and she should be on every major news networks like the other 3 candidates. This is a woman who is running for VP of America! We deserve to know more about this woman and there are alot of questions about her out there that need answers.
Palin sits down with FNC! Boy, what a challenge that must have been! Her informative answers really shed light on her intellectual curiosity and ability to spout off more nonsense. What a joke! Fox news should be embarrassed that they are promoting such a pathetic ticket. She should return to Alaska and protect us from the Russians…because that’s what she does as governor right?
Attack politics, weakening the country no matter who wins = “country last.”
when she gets elected we will finally get the chance to wage war on everyone in the name of jesus christ the saviour. we will chase down and put to the sword all those who sin against the will of god. i pray that i get the stamina to strike down all those who get in the way of the free market and if i get carpel tunnel syndrome from smiting thee, i will use my other hand. if i wear that hand out i will use my foot or build a robot to smite for me. praise jesus! hallelujah! amen.
Bill - you asked, “…am I wrong?”
Yes.
And her name is Sarah - not Sara.
Hey, sure Sarah’s a sleazeball, but she’s probably a great fuuck and good to eat. You can’t have everything.
WOW, I am sure your chest is bloating FNC/MCCAIN/FNC. We all know your clout with the MCCain campaign.
You boast of “fair and unbiased” reporting, you need to go back to journal college or maybe junior high and learn the meaning of the words: fair, unbiased, etc. Better still, change your slogan: McCain suporters of the world = FNC.
Only on FOX she can get away with anything. Like her comment on Alaska oil. Why aren’t we questioning her intellect.
BECAUSE OF THEIR INIMATE TIES TO THE ALASKAN INDEPENDENCE PARTY, BOTH SARAH PALIN, AS WELL AS HER HUSBAND, TODD, ARE TRAITORS:

Palin’s decision to fire Monegan was easy.
He was not her loyalist, crony so he got the axe.
Let’s face it. No candidate or team is perfect. Elections are often about choosing the lesser of two evils. I am bothered by certain Obama-related “evils” that are being swept under the rug. I’d like to be more informed. I want the whole truth. I recently discovered http://www.mediaresearch.org/ which seems to be a watchdog for what major media outlets want to sweep under the rug. I also like the http://www.womenforpalin.net website and blog. Check them out — unless you are afraid of the whole truth.
Why didn’t you guys ask her why her husband wanted to secede from the Union? How much more unpatriotic can you get? Unbelievable.
All this attacks on Obama are her preemptive strikes, before the news about her mischiefs in troopergate scandal.
RE: Bill Edwards - YES, you are wrong.
I find it hard to believe that “as a life long conservative” you would even consider voting for the opposition who is so far Left that he’s not even on the Bell curve. That is so incredibly “stupid”.
Are you a “one issue” voter? Why not try looking for an issue that you DO share with the candidate, or better yet, haven’t you compared the stand of the candidates on the real issues and see which one you agree with most of the time?
Or do you LIKE Obama’s associations, etc.? My parents always told me “watch out who you associate with - you may end up just like them”. Didn’t your parents tell you the same?
To Bill Edwards: Yes, I find it very scary…according to her Alaskan fans, she wasn’t actually a member but her husband was for years…with the influence he seems to exert over her, I think Todd Palin will be the next acting vice president.
Guess to Darned O’ Couric interviews were too hard. I know it is unfair when somebody ask me about my running mate or what Magazines or News Papers I read. The GOP is so scared that they doesn’t even trust her to have an interview with O’Reilly. That is bad. My question is: How would the American people act if McCain had chosen a Male VP that acted the way she does? McCain would have lost the election the Monday after the RNC and he would have been laughed out of Congress. I won’t even go as far to say she is Stupid or Ignorant. They have built her up for the “Common Man” to be Folksy and have hoped that that would be enough. Now that the real questions are comming and she is failing to answer ANY of them with a hint of knowledge, proves that she wasn’t chosen to be a running mate. She was chosen as a Mascot. They think that the “Everyday” American is Stupid enough to believe that: “well she couldn’t answer that question, neither could I, We are the same”. That is insulting to the American people. They have even admitted that that is what she is. But the GOP is using this REVERSE SEXISM and expecting us not to ask her to live up to the same standards we ask of Male candidates. That is Rediculous and proves how OUT OF TOUCH the GOP is. It worked with Bush, It will not work this time. The youth, future of the country, are going to turn out in droves. They will not CLING to their Prejudice as many of the older folk will. They will not be swayed by talks that Obama’s name sounds like a terrorist. They will not accept the guilt by association that the GOP uses on Obama, but fail to accept for themselves. WE are NOT STUPID. The youth are lazy, but when it comes to the future of the country, They WILL turn out in droves. Just think Bill Clinton, worked for him. Gonna work for Obama. Republicans have NOTHING to offer the Voters, Just the Corporations that keep the voters down.

Fox is as pathetic as Palin. Why didn’t Fox ask palin how she will deal with the current economic crisis? The stock market and Americans 401ks and IRAs half lost nearly half of their value and fox and palin are obsessing about some perceived relationships from decades ago and trying to find someone else to blame for the problems. The republicans have controled the White House for 20 of the past 28 years and Congress for 12 of the past 14 years; you would have to be operating somewhere between delsuion and denial to think that the republicans are not responsible. After 4 November, palin will be back in Alaska facing charges and fox will be marginalized.
Ah I finally understand : the problem is that Sarah Palin says what she means and no one has done that for so long that you do not understand. Don’t read her lips just listen.
