Bush says McCain still has a chance to win
Asked today whether President Bush is concerned about McCain’s standing in the polls, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said the commander in chief is still certain that the GOP nominee can succeed him in the Oval Office.
Q Dana, has the President voiced any concern about what appears to be happening to John McCain’s fortunes in the last week or two?
MS. PERINO: The President is convinced that John McCain has still time to close up this race. And remember — he remembers when he was running in 2000 and how far he was down before the election, and he came back to win.

Bush you have a bigger chance of winning then McCain, which is sad
No thanks to you Dubya!
Fox why not picture of them together ??
Is it that bad the get reminded who the 2 people are ??
I knew it was bad when Michele Malkin turned against him. Let’s face it, he was the worst
candidate possible in a year when we knew it would be tough. To top it off, he picked
Sarah Palin, who pales in comparison to many, many Republican women politicians who have solid experience and the respect of the party. Condi Rice would have been an excellent choice.
McCain needs to ‘hang it up’.
very true!
BUSH SAYING MCNASTY CAN WIN IS ADDING INSULT TO INJURY.FAIR AND BALANCED,THE ONLY SMARTER MAN BETWEEN THE TWO IS BUSH ,WHO IS A GENIUS COMPARED TO PALIN SO BUSH WOULD HAVE A BETTER CHANCE.

AT LEAST WE ALL KNOW WHO MCCAIN IS AND WHAT HE STANDS FOR.

Communist guru
Saul Alinsky’s son: “Obama learned his lesson well”
By Judi McLeod Tuesday, September 2, 2008
Saul Alinsky, Barack ObamaIn Artful Dodger style, Barack Obama, plays down his mentorship with Communist author Saul Alinsky. But Alinsky’s son, L. David Alinsky, credits Obama for “learning his lesson well” from the Communist guru.
Indeed, Alinsky Jr. who credits his late father for the success of last week’s Democratic National Convention, may have done something that Obama’s detractors couldn’t: blown the cover on the presidential hopeful’s communist leanings.
No one can blame Alinsky for the pretentiousness of the Ancient Greek Temple from which Obama addressed plebes, or for the tacky neon colours on display at the Pepsi Centre, but it was Alinsky who wrote Rules for Radicals, the bible of the far left.
Says Alinsky’s son L. David Alinsky of his father’s influence at the Dem Convention: “ALL the elements were present: the individual stories told by real people of their situation and hardships, the packed-to-the rafters crowd, the crowd’s chanting of key phrases and names, the action on the spot of texting and phoning to show instant support and commitment to jump into the political battle, the rallying selections of music, the setting of the agenda by the power people.”
“The Democratic National Convention had all the elements of the perfectly organized event, Saul Alinsky style, the Communist guru’s son wrote in a letter published yesterday in the Boston Globe.
The Artful Dodger may be less than pleased that he has been pegged as a Saul Alinsky Poster Boy by the guru’s own son.
“Barack Obama’s training in Chicago by the great community organizers is showing its effectiveness,” Alinsky Jr. wrote to the Globe. “It is an amazingly powerful format, and the method of my late father always works to get the message out and get the supporters on board. When executed meticulously and thoughtfully, it is a powerful strategy for initiating change and making it really happen. Obama learned his lesson well.
“I am proud to see that my father’s model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday.”
Alinsky should be reminded that the West has stared down communism everywhere it has raised its hideous head.
Better Luck in 2012!!
Bush, the only chance he has if you could get that gadget from MIB that erases peoples memories of the last 8 years.
HAHAHAHAHA!!! Good one W!! Good one!
Well, if W. thinks he still has a chance…oh, never mind.
I strongly disagree with what everyone here is saying. McCain can very well win this election. There are still a few weeks left. Remember how polarized the last two elections were? Nearly 50-50. Why would you expect this to be drastically different? Too many people out there think they know it all. A lot can happen over the next few weeks. People are fickle. All it takes is for Obama to slip–either a fact, or a story comes out that damages peoples trust. I’m sure the McCain camp is looking. And they should, afterall NOBODY knows much about Obama. Why are his supporters and the media giving him a free pass on everything? Is that wise? So far one thing is clear to me as to why I absolutely do not trust Obama for president–his 20 year attendance to Reverend Wright’s church. Wright married Obama and his wife, and inspired Obama’s book title “The Audacity of Hope” I bet you didn’t know that! Of course, none of us know much about Obama. But what gets me is that Wright teaches Black Liberation Theology. What is Black Liberation Theology? Well find out! Because it is essentially the worldview that Obama shared with Reverend Wright for 20 years in Chicago. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_liberation_theology#Criticisms
I think it is safe to say it shaped Obama’s world view, and frankly scares me (trends of Marxism all over it). Wake up my friends, what are you doing?? Keep America democratic, keep America a capitalist economy. Obama flat out stated he wants to socialize the health care system. Please, please America snap out of the “change” trance.
Bush who cares ???
The better point is going to be, less Republicans in senate and in congress
Socialist and the dopes on the left, just don’t get it, well they will if Obama get’s in. Wonder what they will do when the Executives and American Companies tell him to take a hike and take more jobs overseas. Look at California, They are asking for 9 billion just to keep budget and stay afloat, that is the state that the libs built or now destroyed. Smarten up Libs - your destroying the great USA and you did nothing but flip the country off after taking our money. So now the welfare state will run the Great USA into the ground.
Think about Mccain/Palin one more time.
McCain has become a confused old man of multiple personalities. I freaking confused!!!! People say we don’t know who Obama is. I say the no longer know who or what McCain is. Maverick, War Hero, Country First Guy or the Race Baiting, Grump, Erratic, confused “win at any cost man” we see today, who has been lead astray by his handlers. While Obama has evolved beyond the bad judgements of his past, McCain is devolving with the bad judgements of his present.

Oh yes, and God willing, we won’t vote another “D” student into the white house to continue the degradation of our country.
Booohhboooh! Bush!
Bush did all this mess this year signing to force the banks to give expensive houses to people who cannot pay this.
But the real history who started to force banks to give this to people who does not have the money to pay the house it was CARTER!
Bush has been wrong about everything else, so no chance here.
Bush is 100% right! It aint over…till its over! And all of you liberal, Left wing Knuckle Heads should say thank you to a man that has kept you safe… and re energized a military that was cut down by a Democrat! Being a former Marine, We the people in the uniform respect the heck out of Bush! A man if nothing more Consistent! …. The only thing consistent about NObama is hes guaranteed to “Change” his mind on every single point of view!
Semper Fi!
Obama invoked FDR today with the quote, “All we have to fear is fear itself.”
If Obama is the new FDR, does American really need a FDR style ‘New Deal’?
FDR’s socialist reforms held us in a depression until we were pulled out by WWII.
What we really need is more ‘Reaganomics’.
Reagan pulled us out of a deep recession and stagflation, with conservative supply side economics.
Republicans understand this, a democratic ‘New Deal’ will not.
As a Republican, i am ashamed how we are acting. This is the first time that i will for a dems. I don’t want to, but I want to do what’s best for my country.
Three weeks…and many more scandals to come Obama’s way. Plus, are we really ready to sacrifice our foundation and our values for false promises? Where is the proof that all he says can and will be done? He’s done nothing! No Obama!!! ANYTHING but! The economy has failed greatly in part because of the Democrats and two people who are part of his advisory. Great guys! Great! Vote for a change that is really more of the same poor results with different labels and strategy.
For the love of the United States of America and the security of the nation, I would like America to ask OBAMA this simple question:
If the war between the United States of America and Kenya is inevitable, is OBAMA willing to bomb Kenya, where his uncle and relatives live in, like he said without hesitation to bomb Pakistan?
For sure McCain will win this election, unless all American is blind.
Can anyone make sense out the comments given by CM, lee, and Michael Frear?
Obama is not the reason behind the struggling economy nor is it one (DEM) party. The Democrats have not been in control of the house for entire time since it was established. The Democrats do not veto or pass any bills amongst themselves as a matter of fact the DEMS share the house with the REPS and the INDS. If you want readers to see things, your way then, you need to be truthful with the information. Anyone claiming to be of a party and then criticizing it publicly is better off not mentioning the respective party at all. I do not know if you know this, but America was birth from scandals, heartache, and forgiveness.
When there are comments made about Obama’s past, is the information intended for resume purposes only, If so then I don’t see where you can’t trust him is relevant. Did Obama LIE about information that involved him, and someone questioned him and then discovered that he lied? Did Obama cheat on his wife and have outside children? Did he lie about his childhood, or is it about taxes, healthcare, lost of jobs? If you think, it was Obama’s doing then please present the facts (NOT OPINIONS or HE SAY/SHE SAY). There is no need to open up Pandora’s Box. I am not going to say too much about McCain, because this site supports him and I like him. What does anyone think McCain has to do to win the election? You do not have to mudsling over my comment because at the end of the day the mudslinging will be old.
The housing market collapsed because of Carter? How many presidents with full terms did we have and what year is this?
Socialist and dopes, I can say so much on why some comments should be kept to one’s self and that is what I am going to do. NOT WORTH IT.
The candidates are entitled to change their views, after all, it the American President. Do you want a president who listens to the country (USA) as a whole or do you want a president who always does things his on way even after the country (USA) requested a specific course of action?
There was a comment about being scared of Obama’s world view. This world has too much violence across the board to be afraid of 1 man who is allowing you to be in his world. He has offered his face to all who wished to question him. Do you want to tell him how you feel? Do you want him to talk to you, if so go to his rallies and ask him the question that is on your mind, but don’t sell yourself short by reading things from the internet or taking the information from the talk shows etc. just to say I don’t trust him or I don’t like him.

The old man is done!!
Mc Cain has made one bad decision after another! He has lost my vote! Selecting Palin as VP was the final straw. Did he stand up to the Bail out that had 150B in Pork? Now his answer to the Mortgage crises is to help people stay in their homes by devaluing the home? Not all people were the poor or the mis informed. I saw people in beautiful homes just want more! I saw bad investments. I’m a realtor, I have seen it all. I have lost all my equity in this mess by being responsible! Why don’t they just keep thier interest rate at the teaser rate they have now until this crises is figured out? Do you think most people would stay in thier homes? Not all of them because they are upside down in home value. That is real estate for you. It goes up and down. Well I’m almost upside down and I have been in my home 20 years! Will someone give me back my equity? No we are screwed.
I need help in Health care. Self employed pay so much in health care I can’t even save for our retirement. Now we lost our retirement.
I cringe every time Mc Cain speaks of change and that He can “get it done”! Every time he says that he can “get” Osama, “He knows how”. Well if he knew how why hasn’t he done so?
I may not vote at all. Is this the best we have?
