McCain says don’t count him out yet
MOSINEE, WI - As he made his pitch to Wisconsin voters today, McCain called on supporters to ignore the pundits who say that his campaign is in trouble and fight hard for victory.
“In case you missed it, this is about the seventh or eighth time that pundits have said ‘McCain’s campaign is in trouble,’” he said to cheers from about 900 supporters on an airport tarmac in Mosinee. “We fooled them then and we will fool them again. And I am telling you, my friends, we’ll win the state of Wisconsin with your help. We will win it here. I know we will.”
McCain also acknowledged that the Dairy State, which hasn’t voted Republican for president in 24 years, is going to be a “tough state” to win.
“You know what, I have been in enough campaigns to detect the enthusiasm and the commitment and the support that I have right here today and we are going to win,” he added.
His call comes despite national and state polls that continue to show McCain struggling to gain traction in the midst of the continuing financial crisis and record low presidential approval rating.
But at his town hall meeting in Waukesha earlier in the day, he said he would defy critics like he did last year when his surge support turn out to be prescient.
“Do you know how many times the political pundits the last two years have written off my campaign?,” he asked. “They were wrong when I supported the surge and said I was finished. I said I would rather lose a campaign than lose a war. And some of them are wrong now. We’ll win and we’ll win the state of Wisconsin and we’ll win this election. You can count on it.”

All too often, though not popular, people and events that have been undermined and underestimated have come out victorious. The question posed to voters shouldn’t be on popularity, but should be do you want someone who talks alot, or someone who acts, not just claims?
To all Americans,
A person’s character is seen best by looking at the people they associate with. (Proverbs 21)
Face the facts… ACORN, Rezko, Ayers, Wright, Phlager and Kalid are Baracks friends. It matters not that they are “current” advisors. It matters that Barack hides all this and his activities being a community organizer. We can NOT trust this man in the White House. As for Frank, Dodd, Cox, Paulson, Pelosi, Reid and Bush… they all need to go.
Frank and company could have prevented the current meltdown but they would not in order to help Acorn enforce the CRA.
Time for change. To all Americans.. vote for John McCain.
We can not allow socialist trends into our country.
And if all this is not convincing you… who would want anybody that Madonna endorses to represent them as President of the United Sates. What a mess she is.
This is kinda like in the primaries… some one keeps spending money and our time, instead of packing up and going home and back to work..
Hey McCain we are in a crisis, fix it, if you know so much.. lay out some plans, instead of just saying trust me..
I find it very intesting that Mr. Obama is ahead in the polls on the same time the stock market took a 600 + point hit…Remember the market is more about the future then the present..please wake up America..
Seriously?
Numbers dont lie. I’d rather have a candidate palling around with hippie terrorists than with Bush!
Joshua
you should try and visit either candidates web site.. McCain is rather empty…
FOX !!!! “Watchdog group seeks ethics investigation of McCain”
Come one bring us news
And what about Sarah Palin !!!!
I agree with Edward. Kelsey Gramar (spelling) said today that he took all his money out of the market this summer because if Obama gets elected the capital gains will increase and he’d wanted to avoid higher capital gains…As did many of his friends. I found that to be very interesting.
I haven’t counted him out, but I hope this election is stolen right out from under him by the corruption of Obama and his naive’ supporters. God save us all from that inevitable destruction!!
Oh, go ahead… count him out! Because he is out! Go drill for that baby.
Well I sure as hedoubletoothpicks am not voting for Comrade McCain. Where does he get off saying I should bail out people who bought houses they can’t afford AND the banks that made them the loans. I am now going for Barr. I know he can’t win, but I will not not support Comrade McCain. He is supposedly one of us, but he is more liberal than Clinton and Obama combined. ROMNEY 2012!
C’mon Jeannie, you can’t really mean that? John Mc Cain was in uniform when BO was still in liquid form.
If Obama has the presidency in the bag, like his campaign gives you the impression, then why is Acorn in every swing state, doing what they do best…registering fraudulant voters? And why does he feel compelled to take out a 30 minute ad on T.V as if we don’t see enough him??
The only good thing i can see out of the poll’s is that if enough obama supporter think he has already won they wont bother going to the polls to vote. If you look at his support base with young voters and poor minorities. They are more likely to not bother if they think he is already winning. While the McCain supporters will be coming out in droves to try to pull off an upset. It’s the difference in the mentality of the base and their long term views.
I find it interesting when my fellow “conservative” republicans use the phase “wake up America”. Where were you between 2001-2006 when our national budget and debt was sky rocketing. I wrote many times to my congressman complaining about this to no avail. From a famous line from a Clint Eastwood movie … don’t piss down my back and tell me its raining.
McCain is a real fighter and a war hero. He had the strength and determination to make it through 5 years of Vietnamese torture, and I believe he will fight till victory in this election! Don’t let Obama the America-hating radical buy his way into the Oval Office with his foreign backers’ money!
John McCain is a hothead. He is irrational, very angry, and not fit to lead the country. John McCain’s uncontrollable temper will be a national security concern if he is elected. Please see the link below.

McCain is the right man at the right time.
Has anyone thought that the reason the world markets are falling is because the world is terrified of who we are considering electing for president??? How do you think other countries see us when a man with terrorist ties has a chance to be president of our country??? Oh I bet Iran is salivating at the thought. Maybe the reason he won’t answer the questions is because he has something to hide!!!
How is inciting an angry racial marginlized crowd putting ones country first.
DEAR JOHN,
STOP TRYING TO OUT DEMOCRAT A DEMOCRAT. YOU HAVE NO CHANCE IF YOU KEEP TRYING THAT. TURN AND RUN THE OTHER AND EXPOSE OBAMA LIES ABOUT HOW EVERYTHING IS FREE AND WE HAVE RIGHTS TO HEALTH CARE, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. HERE THAT’S A GOOD ONE:
O-BLAH-BLAH-BLAH-MA
CAN’T STAND HIS PREACHIN’ NO MO’
Have another six pack Joe. Maybe you’ll be too drunk to vote in November. You must already be inebriated to believe the lies from BO. Any sane and sober person can see him for what he is. I have probably been hurt as much as anyone by the current economic crisis but at least I’m intelligent enough to know that it is a cycle and will only be healed by time. Barack doesn’t have the answers. In fact, he can’t even answer a question. GO MCCAIN/PALIN~!
LOl now yall listening to Kelsey Grammer, now.
LOL. He probably took all his money out to get high. The hypocrisy of the right makes me laugh.
Famous people that support Obama should are dumb but this ex addict he knows of what he speaks. LOL
Obama should have stayed in liquid form. The best part of him dripped down his mama’s leg.
Comment: Actually, I agree that voters should take a closer look at Obama’s associates. Over the past few months, he has been “palling around” with some significant people. Here are some of Obama’s current BFFs:
Warren Buffett — investor, business leader and the second richest man in America
Paul O’Neill — former Secretary of Treasury under Bush (II).
Bob Rubin — former Secretary of Treasury under Clinton and Director of Citigroup, one of the more solvent financial institutions today.
Joe Stiglitz — winner of the Nobel Prize for Economics (2001) and professor of economics at Columbia
Dan Tarullo — law professor at Georgetown and expert in international economic regulation, banking law and international law.
Laura Tyson — professor at Haas School of Business, U. of Calif, Berkeley. Clinton’s chair of the Council of Economic Advisors and first woman to head the London Business School.
Paul Volcker — chairman of the Federal Reserve under presidents Carter and Reagan.
Those are some of the members of Obama’s economic team — the people who have the ability, breadth of knowledge and commitment to develop reasonable solutions to our current economic crisis.
Although McCain would like this election to be about the “politics of personal destruction,” most Americans believe that it is really about the economy. The problems are too deep, too widespread to waste time on non-issues that will not put bread on the table or gas in the tank, on rhetoric that will not ensure jobs or gain health care for the uninsured. Obama has a fleshed out plan for dealing with the economy and an economic team that can address the problems in a multi-faceted, multi-discipline manner.
So . . . .Who has McCain been hangin’ with lately who might possibly help us through this national crisis?
McCain has gone from despicable to dangerous. Rabble rousing is the last resort of the truly desperate pol. In the midst of the worst economic crisis in a half century, this is his focus? This is his concentration. Here’s a word I never thought to associate with McCain: Coward!
Is this all McCain has? I mean, I don’t take these accusations lightly because Americans are vunerable to scare tactics (see 2004 campaign). I do however, think there is no strong case here. One cannot be judged by someone who they have happened to come across conducting regular life activities. I mean, I have met Drew Barrymore — does that make me a movie star?
1. McCain is desperate. This has to be one of the dumbest moves. Talk about the economy senator. No one cares about this issue except the racists. And they only make up 20% of your voters. Talk about the economy. The E-CO-NO-MY sir!
Mcshame is a coward.
that one! 08′
Yup McCampaign has nothing but envy and bitterness left. A whole year stirring negativity.
Question to all of you Carl Marx i mean Obama lovers out there.. What is his plan to fix the economy? Why does McCain have to have a plan or he wont win..while Obama can just sit there and tell me how bad Im hurting and how bad Bush is..
The dumbest Americans watch FOX the smartest American watch CNN.
MR. JOE SIX PACK’S COMMENT CAN’T BE SERIOUS.
ALL THESE PEOPLE CHEERING FOR OBAMA WILL GREATLY REGRET IT IF GOD FORBIDS HE GETS ELECTED. OBAMA HAS PUT A WOOL OVER THERE EYES…PLEASE PULL OFF THE COVER BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.
John is a real fighter, no doubt about this. I just miss the days, when, as a Democrat, I admired him for his truthfullness and character. Man has he changed. Sometimes when judging people’s character, you can just observe how they deal with adversity. He is not acting very decent these days. Of course you could say this about all the players in his campaign. Everyone knows, for example that most Americans, when polled, conclude that the Republicans have run a dirtier campaign than the Democrats, even when you facor out the fact that there are more registered democrats. Yet Cindy makes the outrageous comment, accusing the Democrats of running the dirtiest campaign in American history. Never mind the fact that this is factually inaccurate, and does not reflect most Americans views. Whats so reprehensible is again, employing unethical methods in this contest. You know, try to obscure the facts, ie….Republicans viewed by most to be most guilty… by hurling this obviously unsupportble accusation against your opponents in order to deceive and create confusion. This is morally unethical
the history teachers of the next decade are going to sadly shake their heads at the downfall of John McCain who has sold his soul and his honer to Karl Rove and Phil Gramm in a last desperate attempt to become president
Obama is associated with all the wrong folks: Ayers, Rezko, ACORN etc. Now, it has been confirmed that he is also the Illuminati’s puppet, as per the following link:
http://www.illuminati-news.com/articles2/00213.html
Denninger’s ticker shows that the Bush administration, another administration controlled by the Illuminati, deliberately caused the markets to crash by pulling out $125 billion, presumably to drive the election ratings in favor of Obama:
http://market-ticker.denninger.net/archives/590-FLASH-Fed-Speaking-Out-Both-Sides-Of-Mouth.html
Are the above facts not enough for the sheeple to see how they and this election is being manipulated by the cabal? It is time for the people to wake up and choose the candidate that will work for us, the people and not the Illuminati.
I HAVE READ TERMS OF USE VERY CAREFULY, AND CAN FIND NO CLAUSE THAT PRECLUDES COMMENTS WHICH DONOT FOLLOW THE PRAVDA PARTY LINE.
I GUESS I’M PERSONA NON GRATA
Holy smokes Sarah Palin’s attempts to hide the truth was dismissed by a federal judge in Alaska. both she and her crooked husband will go under a gauntlet. Funny how it goes isn’t it?? This woman and I quote”A war with russia isn’t a bad idea”. I think that she and mccain are both nuts.
John McCain –Sarah Palin — You need to address the economy and the people who caused this issue or ignored it by doing nothing. This is like Enron to the thousand percentage… Tell people that you will do whatever it takes to get this country back on track - not the Bush track, definitely not the Obama track — but the McCain track. Invite people to get on the train with you to get this country back in the hands of the people who are the United States of America..
I see all of the liberal talking heads on here talking about various things
but I don’t see the leader (Obama) doing what he is supposed to be so good
at and that is fixing the economy. I here his dissing McCain but I don’t see him
or his budds Dodd, Franks, Pelosi or Reid doing anything except spending our tax
dollars. Another $50 billion give away coming very soon if Pelosi has her way.
I see McCain trying to suggest things but all I continue to see is Obama and Biden bashing
the ideas, but still don’t see any from them. GEE MAYBE THEY DON’T HAVE A CLUE.
John McCain has given his life for this country; he deserves to be President. OBama is an outright idiot.
OBAMA IS GOING TO LOSE AND HE KNOWS IT BECAUSE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE TOO GREAT TO ELECT SUCH A CORRUPT, DAMAGE CONTROL FREAK LIKE HIM.
FOR EXAMPLE, ACORN IS NOT A NON FEE FOR SERVICE..IT IS NOT A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION TO PUT STRUGGLING AMERICANS IN A HOME. OBAMA AND ALL INVOLVED GOT P A I D FOR THEIR SERVICES. THEY HAVE PROFITED FROM SCAMMING PEOPLE WHO WANT A HUMBLE DWELLING INTO BELIEVEING THEY WERE HELPING THEM.
ONE DEAL AFTER ANOTHER OVER A PERIOD OF MANY YEARS HELPED DESTROY OUR ECONOMY.
THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING HIM NOW KNOW SOMETHING IS DEFINELTELY WRONG.
THE OBAMA THEY THOUGHT THEY KNEW IS INVOLVED IN THINGS HE HAS DENIED ALL ALONG.
IT’S CALLED TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE’S GOOD NATURES AND BELIEVING THE BEST IN SOMEONE.
THE BIGGEST “CHANGE” THAT SHOULD TAKE PLACE NOW IS TO DISQUALIFY HIM FROM THE RACE.
OBAMA IS NOT FIT TO BE PRESIDENT OR A PUBLIC SERVANT OF ANY KIND.
AS A MATTER OF FACT, THE ONLY THING HE MAY BE FIT FOR IS AN INVESTIGATION!
To the coward that called McCain a coward should probably put down the video games and read and learn what this man has done for our country and what he went through for us. You would have caved in a second.
It has long fascinated me that folks are always leery of quick speaking attorneys but as soon as one of them runs for office everyone’s on board with little to no hesitation. Obama speaks of getting health care for everyone without it or making it affordable, which he has not done even for his own state much less at a National level. Hillary gave that same scenario to NY and failed to pass it there. Our problem is not health care it is the cost of health care, and tort reform is the cure for frivolous Law suites that continue to plague the medical field running up their expense for malpractice insurance, which in turn must be picked up by the patience’s receiving treatment. Obama being an attorney himself will never go after tort reform which should be his first move to start to repair our failure to provide health care. John McCain’s idea is to stimulate the businesses with tax insentives for providing affordable health care for all who are employed, which would intise our businesses to take more of a leadership approach, instead of government being the sole responsible party for everyone’s health. For Pete’s sake we already have one of those entities it’s called Welfare. Incentives to motivate change, that is where our solution lies not in demanding health care from our government. My father was a 60 year attorney, God rest his sole but he always said that attorney’s that don’t go into private practice are mediocre attorney’s at best, this is my thought as I listen to BO, it is not enough to have read and reiterated much like I have just done, it is always the best practice to go with experience especially when things are tough. To assign your country’s future to an unproven individual is not only scary it is not smart, and I know that at the end of the day we will do the smart thing. We believe that change is wrapped up in one individual and one job when our government is broken into 3 components and today the legislative component is probably more broken then the executive branch if you look at their approval ratings, and not that, that carries much wight with me but there it is. I am hopeful that we don’t vote based on a whem and prayer, but rather on context and history of performance. We have a decent chance at a good placement as you look at McCain / Palin ticket, with some history with congressional experience and executive experience with gubernatorial pratice by Sarah Palin. We have a democratic congress let’s even our branches out and not give the entire ball game away to one side or the other. Hope all goes well for all or you.
McCain and Palin supporters one word: SCOREBOARD!
http://www.pollster.com
Oh by the way numbers do lie. Look at all the fake and fraud voters for Nobama, ha ha!! He lies about his evil friends I guess he has to lie about Acorn too.
How is it this race is still so close ?
For those who vote republican because ‘my family always votes republican’, what would it take to make you realize the scale of damage done by prior votes and the last 8 years of republican leadership ?
A disastrous war, conceived in arrogance and ignorance, and conducted with incompetence ?
A disastrous economic philosophy facilitating a financial crash of near biblical proportions ?
Legacy of failure to lead on vital issues of climate protection and alternative energy ?
A legacy of immoral tax platforms that favor the rich and corporate ?
A legacy of Immoral disregard for health coverage of the poorest ?
Desperate selection of top leadership positions based on gender ?
Time to wake up !
brenda in birmingham
It is true that Obama has surrounded himself with some pretty powerful people. What you failed to mention however, is that none of those “experts” were able to prevent the financial crises we are in. Not individually nor collectively. So if you do the math;
Solve (Financial experts) + (Obama)
0+0=0
Tom Bradley for President.
This is to everyone:
Berg vs. Obama
An attorney, Phillip Berg (he’s not white so it’s not about race) is questioning Obama’s “constitutional” qualifications to be President. He has proof that Obama was born in Kenya, not the US. He also said if he was born in the US, he would’ve lost his “natural born” status when he moved to Indonesia with his mother when he was five years old. He attended schools there until he was ten and during that time Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship so Obama and his mother had to relinquish their US citizenship. Also, since foreigners could not attend school in Indonesia at that time his step father, Lolo Soetero adopted Obama as his son therefore making Obama a “natural born” Indonesian child.
A constitutional crisis will rip this country apart. Right now the case is pending in the court. Berg filed suit, and on the last day to file a response Obama’s lawyers filed a dismissal of the case, Berg filed a complaint to deny the dismissal and right now there is no word from the judge on the decision of the case. Berg believes he’s right because as of today, Obama has not counter sued him for defaming the Senator and the suit was filed in August.
Some of you may support Obama, but the constitution is the highest law in the land and right now Obama is going against it. Berg has A LOT of proof against Obama being a “Natural born” US citizen; he may actually be an illegal alien. If you don’t believe me the website is obamacrimes.com.
The media is not covering this because of their liberal bias, but if this lawsuit goes through it will be the biggest story of the year. Right now, people who have visited the site like me know Obama’s guilty because he has not shown what Berg is asking for; a certified copy of Obama’s BC, his certificate of citizenship and an oath of allegiance (Obama was seen NOT respecting our flag; is his allegiance in question? Darn right.
He’s fighting REALLY hard for somebody who has nothing to hide.
So for more info visit http://www.obamacrimes.com.
I’m not lying about this.
Folks character comes in many shape and sizes but I can tell you that you can not find a finer character in nature and leadership then John McCain. At the end of the day this is what is remembered, who has lead and shown leadership, not who would like to be leader. Judgment can only be measured by someone who has exercised, it not just talked about it. The few things that can be measured is how you select the group you hang out with. There is an old spanish saying that says “You tell me who you hang out with and I will tell you who you are.” With that being said take a good look and form your own opinion, as to BO rise to power. Hope all goes well for all of you.
I voted for Bill Clinton, John Kerry & Al Gore, whole heartedly. Now I am with McCain. His deed far outweigh the celebrity of OBAMA; his actions speaks far more ludly than the pretentious calmness of OBAMA & his sacrifices for the country beats thoroughly the selfishness of OBAMA. How is America forgetting the relevance of experience, sacrifice & actions and choosing the EMPTY SUIT for glamour.
especially during these tough times. God Bless McCain and America.
Obama supporters, in my opinion, just want hope. Hope for what? Change? Because Barrack Obama is an excellent public speaker, minus a few stammers, he is charismatic, he walks the walk, talks the talk… This is what it is… no substance, a smoke screen. Obama puts himself first above all, just look at his past associates, if they had a dime, he had the time. He has poor judge of character, proof is in the pudding.
It’s unbelievable that 50%+ of this country have put basic foundational morals and values to the waist side, talk about hope… Hope everyone does some basic soul searching as see for what it’s worth.
Obama has no right, based on honor, morals, or values, to even stand on the same stage with McCain. McCain and his wife have done so much for others, put their own needs to side, and have given their time, money, compassion, and unconditional help to others.
What has Obama done, without some other agenda than his own?
Americns that believe this is only a cycle…please educate me why? Why when we started out with a surplus we are in a deficit? Why does McCain’s website leave me puzzled as to where he’s leading? Why do I not hear about what McCain plans to do for us in real time? “McCain right time, right now”…..your right. It’s the right time to talk substance, it’s the right time to keep your cool, it’s the right time to lead. It’s about time McCain tries to do thiese things……..if not you’ll be out of time. Obama ‘08 And America…let us try and stay sober
John, I get the whole thing about Obama not being honest with Americans. But frankly, my sense is that we are way beyond that now. America is in deep trouble. When General Motors is only worth $2B market cap, and California can’t get the $7B in credit they need to pay their workers, we are in serious trouble. John, you need to lead us out of this mess. I like Bill O’Rielly’s idea last night. Tell America that you will make Rudi the Attorney General and he will investigate Wall Street, hold the bad guys accountable and put them in jail. You will make Mitt Romney the Treasury Secretary, and he will make right what is so screwed up now.
I was so proud of you today in Milwaukie naming names (Barney Frank and Chris Dodd) when the realator asked when you would name names and hold them accountable. You need to do this at the next debate…we want to see you angry, and passionate like all Americans are right now. We are mad. We want to see you mad. We also want you to tell us that we will make it through the cycle, and that we will have to sacrifice. We want you to lay out a high level solution that makes common sense. America wants and needs to wrap our arms around our nation…we are a proud people…John, step up to the plate…make this one count…you are our only hope!
I hope McCain win the election have a heart attack and Sarah Palin becomes president. I would love to see what the United States would look like after that. That will be the best show on T.V. Ten times worse than Bush. I am going to vote for McCain on that alone. Cause everybody know he wont make it four years.lmao…..lmao…..lmao
You may not be able to visit the site tonight because it is down. Well, it’s down on my computer anyway and I was on an hour ago. Still no update on the issue.
I am blown away by the fact that Obama has clearly been a major player in the demise of our economy (acorn, fannie mae, etc.) and when he wants to come in like the white knight who is going to solve all of our ills, he thinks we’re too dumb to figure out that this has been the long term plan all along! How on earth could we trust this empty suit when we know that every world dictator wants him at the helm? By the way, I am a democrat and am jumping ship just hoping to survive. Oy vey!
Obama is a America hating racist! I think the McCain camp is doing the right thing, attack, attack, and attack all the way up to the election!
Let’s be honest my fellow prisoners. I can’t be president. I have had cancer, I have dementia and post traumatic stress disorder. I was involved in the Iran-Contra and Keating 5. I’m down in the polls and I have an inexperience idiot as my running mate who’s involved in a scandal. Let’s face it! What else can I do but lie about Obama’s record. I know I’m sorry I’m the real liar. But hey what am I suppose to do.
Why hasn’t FOX or anybody for that matter done a one hour special on the Alaska Independence Party??
You know the secessionist group Todd Palin supported up until 2002? Am I to believe that he had no influence on Sarah, his wife??
Guilty by association right? So, is Sarah in favor of Alaska leaving the U.S. of A??
What a great choice she was by McCain.
Obama supporters: You folks appear to be in a trance! Stop! Wake up! You are getting ready to elect a radical-friendly man who has no record of doing anything for our country. Wake Up!!!!
Please please wake up!!!
What I know is that the Democrats have in fact run a much more positive campaign. Not only that but the message has been consistent. The Republican candidate has been all over the place and his judgement has been questionable. I have tremendous respect for McCains service but that does not entitle him to be president. Many have served and don’t automatically get to be president. I believe this election is about vision. I think most americans agree that much more needs to be done and that it’s time to have leadership that will use diplomacy. We need leadership that understands the issues of the 21st century.
Unfortunately, if McCain won I believe most Obama supporters would be supportive of McCain, but if Obama wins, I don’t know if McCain supporters would support Obama. I really think that Obama will win because he is a superior campaigner with a superior command of a broad range of issues. When Obama wins, everyone should support him. The most unfortunate thing about this race is that if Obama was white, McCain would have probably conceded already. This is really about race.
Let’s get ready for hope, excitement and a positive future in america and in the world. McCain will only take us down a road as inconsistent and rough as it has been for the last 8 years. I hope Obama wins because he is a better, more likeable, more presidential, more sensitive leader.
I wonder how many small companies will still be operating with the plans Obama has, insurance for all employees or you get fined, 20 employees at $400 or so a month equals $9600 in new expenses, then all the employees will have to pay to add their children on or get fined, so the employer fires 10 employees to make the $5000 tax break pay for the new cost of operations. Now add the new taxes on for everyone who earns over $250,000 a year, the IRS considers what you company makes as your earnings even if you re-invest it so then add capital gains along with double social security taxes, and if you are a bigger company say you have 80 or more employees, well to make any money you are going to cut way back or just close, your expenses have just gone way up, So now we have a bunch of companies saying hmmmmmmm, I can’t make a profit, I am losing money, I am closing and you are out of a job. So sad, too bad but you did want to tax the companies and get free, well some free, medical coverage. How is that going to work? Companies are not charity agents. They are businesses and are out to make money not lose it. So Obama’s plans sound good but you will have to have insurance for your kids or get fined. You will probibly end up with out a job and life will go on.
McCain can’t be out, Barack Obama was born in Kenya, Obama can’t be sworn in without being born in the USA. He will end up in prison for all his lies and dealings.
Just a correction to this report: I was at this rally and the number of attendees was actually around 2500! Not 900……
I thind nccain is good for priesident. obama is too blackk and too dumb
Breaking News!!!!!
General David Petreus supports. . . .. . . . . . . .
OBAMA!!!!
Wow!!!
Its sad to see how most of the people who shout loudest about neither side really discussing the issues don’t talk about the true issues. I have listened intently to both sides and come to some conclusions where hopefully most Americans are. In the last debate both Obama and McCain were asked to rank three priorities. McCain said we can tackle all three at once. That is an answer that indicates he doesn’t have a clue as to what to do. Obama said the first priority was energy independence. Absolutley the correct answer. With out serious change in this area progress in onther areas are not possible and energy policy is vital to our security. Secondly he said health care and he was right again. As someone who works in one aspect of the health care industry I call tell you I see every day the disaster our currentl system has become. Obama’s plan is not socialized medicine. I can keep my employer based plan and my doctor. For those who yell they don’t want to pay for someone elses health care, wake up you already do. Why do you think a asprin when you are in the hospital costs $5.00. Think for a second about how much your company supported plan pays. As I said I work in a section of the health care industry. Most plans paid by employers cost more than the tax credit McCain would give. McCain would pay for his plan by making your employers conribution be counted as part of YOUR taxable income. For most of us thats a hefty tax increase. I am focusing on the health care issue because of my work its something I know about. This middle fifty something overweight well educated and fortunately fairly well paid middle to upper middle class white guy is voting for “That Guy”
All the states that are undecided, please consider John McCain. He is experienced, his POW experiences molded him and he and Ms. Palin are offering sound solutions.
All states that are supporting Republicans, now is not the time to pull away. If you are a true supporter, stay your course for McCain-Palin.
Women voters, ERA has never been passed but we have a woman, Ms. Palin, who is a reformer.
The economy will take time to heal. We have, however, seen gas prices lower. We need a strong force to pull our country through and that is the McCain-Palin ticket.
After what the McCain camp has said and done the last several days I would like to hear Cindy McCain talk again about “dirty” campaigns. McCain and Palin and their people have reached the point of being beyond dispicable. They have crossed the line. I guess when you are losing you no longer care about being honest, just what you can do to maybe turn the tide. Well, look at the polls after all the McCain/Palin attacks, its backfiring on them. So it is, so shall it be.
I used to like John McCain but he has shown no ability to lead. He has picked a radical without a flick of common sense who is already being investigated for unethical practices as a VP. John, you’re old. You’ve lost touch with America by losing touch with yourself. I hope you can lose in a more dignified fashion than you have shown lately. It’s really what is best for this country at this point. Obama may not have all the answers, but you CERTAINLY don’t know what you’re doing any more.
All Obama does is talk, talk and talk, promise and promise but the question he never answer is how. He’s critizing McCain about the economic, at least McCain said what he would do, Obama has said nothing. Obama is there for CHANGE, sure his own career change.
GO MCCAIN 2008
Some day people will wake up and wonder why they stood behind McCain….
Get of the 6 pack people and get sober, you can ruin this country even more..
We can not have an other bush in office, there will be nothing left in usa to sell after 4 more years…
We would be better of with a Bush 3rde term then this clown…
Maybe we should ask him why he quit in 2000 and lost in 2004
This takes 10 minutes to watch but it shows exactly how our industry got whwere it is. Politics aside, this is what happened.
