The Cindy Mac Attack

BETHLEHEM, PA - Cindy McCain jumped into the political fracas Wednesday as she questioned Barack Obama’s commitment to U.S. troops in Iraq, including one in particular, her son Jimmy.

While Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin have sought to sow doubts about Obama in recent weeks, Mrs. McCain joined in the mix today and held nothing back in noting that Obama’s vote last year against an Iraq funding bill showed a fundamental misunderstanding of the needs of the troops.

“My son, like so many others, and today like the Palins’ son, have served on the front lines, helping keep peace and helping freedom for other people. I’m a blue star mom, just like Governor Palin is. I’m proud of my sons, but let me tell you, the day that Senator Obama decided to cast a vote to not fund my son when he was serving sent a cold chill through my body,” McCain said in her introduction of the Alaska Governor before more than 8,000 supporters during a rally at Lehigh University. The McCains have two sons in the Armed Forces; Jimmy, a U.S. Marine who served in Iraq last year and Jack who is currently at the US Naval Academy.

Though Cindy has frequently been out the campaign trail she normally stays away from the daily political squabble, save one comment she made in February about being “proud” of her country in response to Michelle Obama.

Obama cast the no vote against the multi-billion dollar Iraq supplemental last year because it didn’t contain a timeline for troop withdrawal. However, Obama did vote for an earlier version of the bill that would have provided the cash for the troops but also would have established a withdrawal timeline (McCain didn’t vote on the earlier bill but advocated the president veto it).

“I would suggest that Senator Obama change shoes with me for just one day, and see what it means, and see what it means to have a loved one serving in the armed forces, and more importantly, serving in harms way. I suggest he take a day and go watch our fine young men and women deploy, get on those busses and leave with a smile and a charge,” she added as supporters erupted in cheers.

While Sen. McCain has refused to discuss his sons on the campaign trail or with reporters as not to politicize them, Cindy has always been more comfortable talking about their military service on the stump. However, Wednesday’s remarks mark the first time she has mentioned their service in the context of a political attack.

Today’s Obama slam also marks her second significant attack in as many days as she told a Tennessee audience yesterday that Obama is “running the dirtiest campaign in American history.”

I’m with Cindy McCain, Sara Palin and John McCain!

Comment by Nina H

LIke we all care what Cindy says, She obviously has bad judgement because she still chooses to be married to McCain who called her a c*%nt. It’s so funny , when the republicans do something dispicable they blame THAT thing on the Dems. But I guess all the “Joe Sixpacks” are drunk and it goes right over their heads. How wonderful to try to be the leaders of all the drunks in the world.

Comment by John

Wow now Cindy is lowering herself intot he mudslinging? Who’s still clean? I remember the good old days when McCain said he would take the high road over the typical slander of campaigning. Looks like neither his wife nor his VP got the message.

To choose between The Man With The Plan or The Man Without A Plan?
Always go with The Man With The Plan.

THERE’S A NAME FOR THIS MCCAIN TACTIC - SCORCHED EARTH.

McPlain Crashes and Burns!

Comment by Gina

Maybe the cold chill down Cindy’s spine was caused from her abuse of percoset and vicodin that somehow damaged her brain.
The fact that she stole these pills from a charity is much more of a disgrace than anyone Obama might pal around with. How about that for a talking point kids. :-)

Comment by Larry

Who really cares???? If they get those boys out of a place that they had no business being in the first place, then she won’t have to worry about her son.

Comment by Palin 2012

Cindy, did you do so to when McCain voted no ??

And what about the veterans, McCain don’t even believe they should be taken care of or have access to school for their service to USA…

Oh and did people see McCain voted no first!!!!!!

Comment by Alice Colyn

Good for Cindy. I think she needs to comment more about more things. She is an intelligent, caring woman and she has a real story as far as humanitarian deeds are concerned and she knows much more that she is saying. She should allow her feelings and concerns to be public.

Comment by Rush Palin

Hey Cindy, how come John is not wearing a flag pin?

Comment by E.A. SOLLARS

AS ANOTHER MILITARY MOTHER, I AGREE WITH CINDY.

GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS MCCAIN AND PALIN!

Comment by gm

Halt! I do believe Cindy and Palin need to check the McCain voting record and state the facts…not fiction!! On the bill that good old Cindy is talking about where Obama voted “N” for supporting the troops…this was for extended funding through 2009. Now, good old McCain just decided to NOT VOTE AT ALL !!! More extensively, see exactly how many times McCain voted “NV” (no vote) for many supporting bills. Wow, McCain certainly supports our troops…he just doesn’t have the time or care enough to vote either way! I am a proud Pennsylvanian and I have such respect for Obama. Either way, I cannot vote for any party with Palin on the ticket. Talk about baggage.

Comment by RJ1979

wow, she can speak? I thought all that plastic surgery rendered her a mute. stick to rolling around in your millions and leave the politics to the politicians. Barack and John doing it one thing. that’s just part of campaigning. you have no business there. especially a rich princess such as yourself!

Comment by gm

We all need to check voting records. Actually see how many times McCain had NO VOTE in supporting our troops. Wow, what a record to be proud of. Great way to support our brave troops

“I Would love for Obama to wear my shoes for a day and see what it’s like to have to wake up and decide which set of pearls I’m going to wear today. The $50,00o ones or the $120,000 ones. I mean when is he going to learn what’s like for us average Americans?”

Dirtiest Campaign??? - Obama??-
It is said, when you hate something in yourself so much - you start justifying it by ’seeing’ it in other people! - - that the lowest form of self- boosting one can resort to - and Cindy McCain just did that!
What a Shame!

Comment by Andy

Obama is nothing more than a Marxist and I am sad to say that apparently the citizens aren’t smart enough to figure that out. Most Obama supporters want a handout. They want higher taxes for the people that pay all the taxes in the first place and then they want that money given to them for no work or because they are a minority or blaah blaah blah. America has been great because of the simple idea that if you work harder than the next guy you’ll make more money. All the hard working Joes better get ready to bend over because this big socialist gov’t is about to really stick it to ya.

Comment by GM

Please check how many times McCain actually had “no vote” for supporting our troops. Wow, what a record to be proud of for supporting our brave troops. McCain just didn’t vote one way or the other…mind you NO VOTE. What a joke

Comment by Mom

Wow, what a mean country we have become. Not caring for each other, our neighbor, our country, our allies, and our men and women who are protecting our freedom.

Look into how much Cindy McCain has given to charity and perhaps one could forgive her!

Comment by Jeremy

I guess nobody in this camp has learned anything in recent days.

The negativity and gutter tone of McCain’s campaign is turning off those not grounded in the base.
And his proposal of another bailout for home mortgages ,when we already should have some of that money we just got hit with should already be going to that: has managed to get much of the base in a mutiny.

I found it interesting that McCain mentioned Lieberman quite a bit (As if Joe represents “Stepping across the isle” and didnt mention Sarah once. Who did you really want to run with John?

Also interesting last night how the middle class was not addressed by name either. Unless you count the attempt at painting the american worker as a “fundamental” to try to save face on his statements about economic fundamentals being strong. But of course I don’t know which dictionary John is using….but people are not what he meant and he should know that everyone is smart enough to figure that out.

The more the McCain camp tries to paint Barack as scary the more frightening they appear to me.

There was a John McCain back in 2000 that I would have voted for. This guy reminds me of the late Peter Sellers in his later years…unable to find his identity because he’s been steeped to long in fake personas.

Love him or hate him…Barack has remained the same guy on basic stances ,mannerisms and composure. I think the question of the day should be “Who is John McCain today? Really?”

Comment by Mike

I love that girl, go get them Cindy.

Comment by Josh

I’m glad that she is proud of her sons work in the U.S. military. I have family that is also in the military and just came back from serving three and a half years in Iraq. What I don’t like is how Cindy McCain all of a sudden has come out to say that she thinks the Obama campaign is the dirtiest in history. Well didn’t the McCain campaign start with the swift-boat tactics. They even said that they were going to go on the offensive and attack his character. So what side is really dirty? The McCain ticket is not as clean as she thinks it is. She is biased due to being married to John McCain. We are starting to see both sides perform this way and it is very disappointing. Please, everyone use your brains and look through this.

“…the day that Senator Obama decided to cast a vote to not fund my son when he was serving sent a cold chill through my body, let me tell you,” Mrs. McCain said.

There was never anything warm about that old fish.

Why hasn’t FOX or anybody for that matter done a one hour special on the Alaska Independence Party??

You know the secessionist group Todd Palin supported up until 2002? Am I to believe that he had no influence on Sara, his wife??

According to McCain your guilty by association right? So, is Sara in favor of Alaska leaving the U.S. of A??

What a great choice she was by McCain.

Comment by Jenny

Way to go Cindy. You are a class act and show you are proud or your country not just by words but by actions.

Comment by Michelle

Isn’t Cindy the woman who slept with McCain while he was still married (How classy)? Didn’t she steal McCain from Carol Shepard(How compassionate)? Didn’t she lie about her age to get next to an older man with power (How ambitious)? Didn’t she steal health care goods “drugs” from malnurished children in 3rd world countries to get a high (What a go getter)? Didn’t she allow McCain to call her a C*%t and a trollop for piling up makeup (Such Poise)? Didn’t she smile and not defend herself when McCain offered her up to compete in the Ms. Buffalo Chip Contest (a well known wet T-Shirt contest)?
I am sorry but I don’t want an immoral hoe, theif, drug addict, liar chick with low self esteem to be my first lady. I’d rather have Michelle…..she made her own money (not an elite dependant like Cindy - she is nothing without Daddy’s silver spoon), has her own career, and Obama respects/treats her like a “REAL LADY”. Cindy was just McCain’s version of Paris Hilton back in the day! Well you can’t say too much about McCain’s judgment……at least Cindy and Palin are a step up from the strippers he openly dated! What a sleeze. I see what he really thinks about women! Cindy you better keep your mind off of Barack and watch Palin, she is “winking” at your man (you know he likes them younger LOL)!

Cindy McCain accusing someone else of running a dirty campaign? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Cindy - I would love to be in your shoes for a day - it must be nice having 9 houses and 13 cars and be able to wear an outfit with bling that costs more than entire joe-six pack mortgage. Hell, John McCain’s shoes cost more than I get paid in 2 weeks.

“dirtiest campaign” - are you on the same planet as the rest of us - Talk about out of touch

Cindy, Cindy Cindy what’s wrong? This campaign mess is getting to you I always admired
you because you always seem so calm. You was always there for the Hubby. I can see that
Senator Mccain has aged tremendously since this race began. I noticed last night that he
seem to have had a slight tremor and he almost ran off the floor when the debate was over.
Cindy do you love your hubby? If so see that he get his rest he’s falling apart. It is affectiing
you. You look real tired lately. Let the young baracuda take over. Good luck.

Comment by Gary Ottman

All I want to say is hooray for Cindy for standing up to Mr. Obama and sharing her displeasure over the funding of our troops. My son is also serving and has been away from home for nearly three years. We see him and his family so little that I miss them terribly. Reducing the funding is not the answer if we really want to win this war. I do realize the financial mess we are all in and the spending commitment we have made. Obama’s certainly will not let it our of our gun sights. To win this war is most important to our way of life and the common good. I support what ever it takes to crush the terrorists and bring peace annd prosperity to the middleast. Thank you.

Comment by skylonda

This coming from a women who dated a married man and stole drugs from her own charity? The Republicans can sling it but can’t name it. Name the dirt or be quiet. BTW - it’s been officially announced - the GOP has run more negative ads then the Dems.

God Bless America and God Bless the McCain’s retirement in Arizona! God Bless President Obama and VP Biden!

Comment by Eric Shifer

And now we hear from Cindy. She should remember that Sen. Biden’s son is also over there. Stop slinging mud - more of it will stick on your husband. Keating 5, Iran/Contra, fundraiser held by G. Gordan Liddy. Get Real Cindy - go back to one of your houses in one of your many cars, while we - the middle class- lose our live savings because of the Bush/McCain policies. Of course FOX won’t print this.

Comment by Katy

Ah, more distortions… sigh. I would suggest that Cindy look over at her husband and ask him why he voted for the war in Iraq. Maybe then her son (and the Palins’) wouldn’t be there!

Comment by Amelia

I think she meant:

“Obama needs to walk in my shoes for a day. He doesn’t know what it’s like to have to wake up, steal some pills, and have to choose between a $80,000 or $150,000 set of pearls.”

“It comes down to judgement. It takes a real man to choose someone like me over that leach of an ex-wife of his. My daddy has good judgement too. He wouldn’t use his powerful connections to jump start a political career for just anybody”

“What kind of idiot graduates from Harvard law, only to choose to serve the public for pennies. If that says anything it says that Obama is out of touch.”

Comment by Ira Barrows

Excuse me…The Bud Lite heiress is out of touch with reality. Her hubby might just as well have called Senator Obama “Boy!” I won’t even go into the Pig Wearing Lipstick who is a total embarrassment to the United States and all that it (used to) stand for.

I can tell you how this will play out. The Republicans smear tactics will win out and gain them the White House, much as it did in 2000 and 2004(when Bushie may actually have won).

It is sad when a once honorable man like McCain chucks it all for power and glory, none of which will come his way as the Gotterdammerung of America will rain down on all of us.

Comment by Jack

Cindy McCain is a wonderful, compassionate lady with outstanding character and integrity. She is absolutely right in calling Barack Obama out on this issue. He and his campaign had better take the opinions of persons like Cindy McCain seriously. There’s many good people watching his actions and they know the truth. These good people want and expect him to be obliged to do the right thing and admit his mistakes and stop playing dirty with the American people and that includes our troops, especially. We all owe our military personnel our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude. All good Americans need to stand strong against anti-Americanism. An American political campaign is the absolute poorest excuse/reason for anti-American sentiment. The Obama campaign has stooped to the lowest level I have ever witnessed.

Comment by Yana

Why can’t they just tell the truth?? McCain NO on funding the troops because the bill that he voted on had a time line. Obama voted NO on funding the troops because the bill he voted on had no time line. Don’t keep acting like the Joe six pack uneducated blue collar workers that the Palin and McCain keep talking about. Even one of his advisors out right said who they were targeting and you have not seen her talking to the press anymore. And these are not my words because I know that they are INSULTING in the way they are terming them. What they are saying is that you don’t care about the issues, you don’t know a LIE when you here it and you are not smart enough to figure out the power of suggestion. They can make you believe anything, No matter how far fetched. If you do not believe me during the RNC their was a hot mic monment. Murphy, Chuck Todd and a female Rep. were talking and their words were “Is Palin qualified? answer NO, Do you think will work? this is political bs, but some people just may be buying it” Why are they ALWAYS saying uneducated blue collar workers?

What I am saying is like who you like, voted for whom ever you want far and disagree with one or both but do your on thinking. Do NOT let neither of them tell you how you feel. They both voted the same way NO, NO, NO on funding for the troops. So see it for what it is and do not be a part of the spin.

Wow, I do believe some voting records need to be checked. I was extremely interested to see exactly how McCain voted to support our troops. Amazingly, I see many “NV” (no vote). I really don’t think no votes support our troops. Each candidate stretches truths but McCains “I will not lie” statement is just that. Now the vote Obama actually voted “N” (no) for was for funding extending through 2009! Imagine, our government with more free money through next year. As intelligent Americans, we do need to fact check each candidate. Actually, McCain’s report card for this last debate was C’s and D’s; Obama was A’s and B’s. This was fact checked on substance on what each said. I live in PA and I am respecting the Obama stance. Truth be told, I believe Palin is unfit and undeserving to be VP. Imagine, separating Alaska from our great United States. This is Patriotic?

I am so proud of Cindy McCain, she is doing exactly what she should be….standing tall beside the husband she loves, supporting the sons she adores, and honoring the country she holds so dear….She is truly an elegant, dignified woman….nobody with any class would speak ill of someone for Proudly standing with her FAMILY…..we all would stand tall with our own families. How disgusting that some of you would lower yourselves to such comments……your Mothers must be so proud…….

She should keep quiet. She has no idea what she is talking about.
When they resort to this type of attacks this late in the game, you know they are desperate.
Just the fact that Palin/McCain stated they would no longer discuss the economy and focus on attacking Obama personally.
WOW. The US is currently in one of the worst financial situations it has faced since the Great Depression and just when you need leaders to talk about the economy and how they can solve problems, McCain tells the everyone he will no longer talk about it but getinvolved in personal attacks.
Moreover, the Economy is tanking and McCain stated twice that he has no knowledge with economics. Then denied he said it. He said it on film twice.
And someone posted earlier Obama lies?
And people are still voting for this guy?
Voting for a woman who says she has foreign policy experience because she can see RUSSIA FROM HER BACKYARD.
Hey Palin. Question for you. When you keep bringing up the Ayers nonsense that has already been blasted as false, maybe you can explain to Americans your ties with AIP. A radical group that wants separation from the US. The AIP’s Motto “Alaska first”, McCain’s slogan “America First”…Ironic. And Sarah Palin was a member of this group. Now who is the REAL PALIN? WHO is patriotic to the country when one joins a group that wants separation from the country she claims she loves.
I cant wait until this becomes an issue. Palin you are a hypocrite. Keep looking out your window, maybe then you will have experience as a rocket scientist if you see the Space Shuttle launch…

Is this the McCain we all know? Is he (and his wealthy wife) so desparate that they have to rely on racism to get elected? This just like Bush in 04 who used homophobia to get elected? How can we the American people (a people who cherish our individual freedoms and supposed ‘equality’) stand by a candidate that is so divisive and hateful? If you support McCain it seems that you condone racisim and biggotry? And, lets not forget Palin. She apparently is fully comfortable interjecting racism in a desparate attempt to catch up in the polls. This campaign disgusts me beyond imagine. I was on the fence with this until I learned more about Palin. How can we allow a racist, uneducated, homophobic individual be our President? Is this what we stand for?….Oh wait, I forgot we elected Bush in 2000 and 2004….

This isn’t mudslinging…this is the truth. He voted against funding the troops because it wasn’t written the way he wanted it written. Her sons are in the military. Where’s the mud?

Comment by G Midland

Cindy, Cindy, Cindy
Did that same cold chill run down your spine when your hubby voted against the troops?

That’s right…old man McCain couldn’t bring himself to vote if there was a timetable.
Obama didn’t vote because there wasn’t one.

Both men voted or not based on their beliefs and were consistant.

I think McCain ,Cindy and Palin(most of all) have been drinking kool aid-Mccain roamed the stage last night either just prowling or keeping his joints loose- Cindy is constantly appearing In her designer dresses- but is now getting down in the mud of their campaing- Palin is so phony- applying her cutsy-folksy when it will get her laughs-she is a woman of no substance but struts around to get noticed throwing mud like a long time politician- it is hard to believe she is of a different gender than MCain- but then she goes for the effect of her speech and action in her every move- shock and awe Palin!!

Sad thing is I am a republican

Clindy McCain is the epitamy of Leona Helmsly. Only “little people pay taxes” and suffer economically.

Cindy McCain has every right to be concerned about her son and the problem is the far left has too many individuals that are so biased they cannot see the trees for the forest. After reading the responses, one has to wonder if ACORN or some other organization pays them to demeaner anyone that has spoken against the Liberals or spoke the truth. I can only believe that those that critize a Mother who is concerned about her children has no grasp on the love for family.

What is Cindy finally coming down off her hI. He did that last year, why now all of sudden your speaking out? yeah we know your angry because your losing. Cindy, Palin and John deserve eachother because you are a bunch of dramatic sore losers who will do and say anything to win.

I assure you John McCain’s son has received as much of a privileged military existence as his father, who should have been kicked out of the air force and lost his wings long before being shot down and taken as a prisoner, where he confessed his father was a 4 star general and was kept as a trophy in much better conditions than other POWs.

This argument is just another lie, issuing forth from the mouths of an angry man-child, his under-achieving running mate, and his pill-popping, power abusing, trust fund baby wife. Excuse me, his second wife.

There are no needs to use such bad words to hurt people
These persons should get the same treatment as they treat others, they need to be more educated and should go back to school and learn how to behave, there are no class and no one will listen to these persons. Each person is different it all depends on her backgroud, age, family, education level, where they came from, it tells all when the person expresses his or her opinion

John McCain and his campaign does nothing but call a lie to the sacrifice and earnest endeavors of military wives. He presents himself as a man with whom Military families can identify. But would they still identify with him if they knew he abandoned the wife and family who supported him when he was in the military?

While John McCain was a POW, his first wife, Carol, was in a horrific, near fatal car accident, which left her alive, but crippled and disfigured. Carol McCain endured and whispered not a word of these horrors to her husband because she wanted to spare him the agony and worry. Upon his return from Vietnam, seeing his wife was not the woman he once knew, John McCain, forsake his marital vows, and forsake his wife and his family. John McCain committed an act that women all across America fear. He deserted his wife in her hour of need. He turned his back on her, and took a second wife, a woman nearly 20 years his junior.

That’s funny coming from Miss Cindy McCain since her own husband voted the same way Sen. Obama did. Isn’t that calling the kettle black? I mean, I find it funny that the McCain camp continue to LIE and DECEIT even their own party. It’s NO wonder the GOP refers to Sarah Palin as “Cancerous” to the Republican Party.

Unbelievable.

You go Cindy! Keep telling it like it is. My husband has been deployed to a combat zone a number of times and there are no words to describe to you those deployment goodbye’s. Those of you who have never had to go through that should not be commenting here unless you want to give kudos to the servicemembers and/or their families. I KNOW what the troops need while deployed to a combat zone. They need the support of the United States of America more than anything else. The family members need to see and read and hear the support of the American people all around them. That INCLUDES the politicians. Until you’ve been the spouse or parent who checks the street in front of their house every morning when they wake up, or every time they come home, to see if there is a government vehicle parked in front of their house, please do not flatter yourself that you have the right to comment negatively about an article like this one.

John McCain’s campaign is in so much trouble that he has to get his wife to do his dirty work. I have a hard time even listening to this lying, cheating, husband-stealing, drug addict who should never be allowed to represent American women.

John McCain is in so much trouble he has to hide behind his lying, phony, cheating, husband-stealing, drug addict, richy-rich wife. She must be back to stealing drugs from children in need in order to lie to the camera and completely leave out that it was her husband that voted against funding our brave troops! Our nation has had enough of this kind of deceit.

Most of the negative comments about Pali, Cindy and John Mc Cain are sadly true. I am an idependent voter who was a Mc Cain supporter in the previous election when he ran against Bush. Unfortunately I now know more about him than I wanted. It is almost all so very true. He and threst did those despicable things and are now trying to assasinate Obama’s character. Unbelievable and totally sad. A former POW, a hero, and now he sinks to this level. No honor, courage, or patriotism here at all. No truth, no ideas, no service at all. Just the Mc Cains and Palins getting what they want no matter what. Serving America or serving America to themselves?

Obama may be inexperienced and may be “that one over there”, but he still has more credibility than both of those families. Carol Mc Cain has more honor and character than all of them combined. If you like to be made a fool, taken advantage of, and lied too constantly and if you want leaders who have no respect for you and your family and think of you as simply an asset to be used for their own purposes, them Mc Cain/ Palin are your candidates.

I want more than what we had the last 8 years.

Let them strash around in their pig pen so the rest of us can get moving on getting America back on track. I will try Obama. The other candidate is wrong for America. They should take their circus back home and get out of the way of those who really want to serve, and who really DO serve.

Cindy McCain has truly fallen OFF the Straight Talk Express train, bus, car or boat with her latest attempts to attack Sen. Obama. First of all, the McCain camp needs to come CLEAN on their facts. John McCain himself voted the same way. So WHO is calling the kettle black here? I mean, this is WHAT John McCain does, he lies to his own supporters on his own voting RECORD!!! Unbelievable.

Honestly, after last night’s debate, John McCain clearly DID NOT bring his GAME CHANGER. Millions of Voters have voiced their winner last night and it WAS NOT John McCain based on the polls. The fact that John McCain has slumped to an all time low by “attacking” Sen. Obama on a “personal” level is starting to BACKFIRE in his face, YET AGAIN!!!! I mean, John McCAin just doesn’t get it. The MORE he goes negative, the MORE it moves Sen. Obama farther into the LEAD in the polls and in the SWING STATES. VOTERS ARE SICK OF THE ATTACKS, ATTACKS, ATTACKS when the Economy suck is a BIG MISTAKE. You come off looking like nothing but a OLD BITTER CHUMP!!! I think it’s TOO late in the GAME for John McCain and his pittyfull pitt bull to attack Sen. Obama NOW…. he should have been doing this back in May or June. But VOTERS DO KNOW Sen. Obama, and they think he’s MORE QUALIFIED TO LEAD this country than John McCain, just look at the polls.

Give it to them Cindy, watch you today. Keep it up. Mothers like you and Sarah, can get to the right people. God Bless you all. Don’t let Hussin Obama get elected, this whole country will slid under. Mention what Jimmy Carter did with the embargo, he was the worse president we ever had. For the past 8 years, Bush adminstration has been trying to Clean UP the mess the Clintons did to us. Carter started it, the Clintons, re ignited it. My husband and I lost everything in the 80’s crisis. We are still working full time at ages 68 and 70yrs old. because of the Carter’s,

Did she forget that her husband also voted against a bill to fund the troops because it contained a time line? Obama did vote against a bill because it didn’t include a time line. Cindy, please get your facts straight. You have been listing to Sarah Palin too long.

Why would anyone be surprised &/or impressed by “anything” Cindy McCain would say or do to further her own interests. This is a lady (???) who was only too eager to sleep with a married man (Senator McCain), even though his wife was still recuperating from a serious injury/illness. And then Senator McCain & this same lady (???) were ever so angry in 2000, when the Bush/Rove group floated the rumor about the Senator’s illegitimate “black” child, when it was, in fact, a child they had adopted from Bangladesh.
McCain has no shame &/or credibility. He has abandoned both his dignity & his integrity in this campaign. Let this bitter old man, & his “lady friend” go back to Arizona.

Robin C. “This isn’t mudslinging…this is the truth. He voted against funding the troops because it wasn’t written the way he wanted it written. Her sons are in the military. Where’s the mud?”

The “mud” is that fact that John McCain ALSO voted against funding the troops because it wasn’t written the way HE wanted it written.

How much clearer do you want it explained?

If I didn’t buy the 12 pack of eggs because I wanted only six, does that mean I’m against eggs?

According to public campaign contribution reports, there are more military personnel donating to the Obama campaign than to McCain. This includes military personnel stationed in combat areas, as well as non-combat areas.
