Palin “Fearful” of Obama Presidency

FORT MYERS, FLA –

Sarah Palin blasted the Democratic nominee today at a Clearwater rally trying to stoke fears about a potential President Obama, “I am just so fearful that this is not a man who sees America the way you and I see America as the greatest source for good in this world.”

As the GOP ticket slips in the polls, she accused Barack Obama of declining to provide funds to American troops and not supporting soldiers in Afghanistan, “Our opponent voted to cut off funding for our troops even after saying he would never do so and he said that our troops in Afghanistan are just quote air raiding villages and killing civilians and that’s not what our brave men and women in uniform are doing in Afghanistan.”

These are the same remarks that on Friday Palin told FNC’s Carl Cameron she believes “disqualifies” him from being Commander in Chief. The McCain campaign also used the same language in a new attack ad released today called, “Dangerous.”

The Obama campaign says their candidate was trying to emphasize the need for more troops in Afghanistan. Today, the camp released a response to the television ad from Retired Four Star Admiral, John B. Natham:

“As a recently retired Admiral, I know who has the strongest record of supporting the men and women currently serving in our military. Senator Obama has consistently voted to fund our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq and, just as importantly, a proven record of support when they return home. That’s why independent veterans organizations give Senator Obama higher marks than Senator McCain. Despite consistent distortions of his record, thousands of veterans like myself support Senator Obama because he has the judgment, character and integrity to be a great president. We will need a great president to lead us in these very challenging times.”

Even as the Dow keeps diving, Palin did not provide any details on how a McCain-Palin administration would fix the current financial crisis only to say that it is one of the issues that Americans want to hear about as opposed to the topics she was asked in her recent media interviews. She quickly moved on to repeat the attack she began this weekend of linking Obama to 1960’s radical William Ayers.

With nothing to run on, Palin is reduced to character defamation and assassination. Being “fearful” should come to mind when one thinks of Palin as VP.

Obama needs to lose this election by such a wide margin that it sends shock-waves throughout the world. America is not dead. Freedom is not dead. Democracy is not dead. Socialism is not what free people desire.
In the presidential debate, world citizen Obama called the 9-11 terrorists “folks”. They are not my “folks”, and never will be.

Come on! Smart people who know how government runs, know that John McCain (a veteran for crying out loud) is the last person who would vote “No” for funding troops and equipment. He voted “No” because of all the pork spending and earmarks written into the bills by the democrats, and because most of these bills had timetables for troop withdrawls written into the language of the bill. Unfortunately, most Americans don’t know how congress works and all they hear is the propaganda spewed from the other side.

Sarah NEEDS to keep hammering away at BO’s bad boys in order to get the message out. Seems to take a HUGE AMOUNT to get through to some folks that these people in the BO camp are not anything but crooks and power/money mongers. God is probably sending her to give the message but she has no control over folks not listening and choosing to have themselves destroyed. Thank you, Sarah…

You call that objective?

She has all rights to fear a presidency, Received today in the mail from a BLACK organization called “BLACK Americans for REAL Change”
Obama’s own people FEAR him.
Dr. Alveda C. King and William Owens. Ms. King is a niece of Martin Luther King{now that is saying something} In her words “Barack Obama’s promises of change represents a giant step backwards for all of us— and seeks yo have government stranglehold on everything we freely enjoy today” In addition she says “My friend , we simply cannot sit idly by and let this man be elected President of the United States”

Now this is really saying something when a person like Ms. King is asking that we do not elect this man to office.
I am somewhat surprised that the Blacks are taking this stand against him, BUT I’m sure they know much more about his CHARACTER than what the Multi Media has provided the American Public.

What all this means is we vote John McCain and Sarah Palin into the White House or throw your vote away and vote Independent for one of the RADICALS on the Ballot

Sarah Palin has already joined the ranks of the Washington crowd that she so adamantly denounced by taking the liberty of redefining the truth regarding Obama’s positions. It looks like the the Republican party, John McCain and Sarah Palin are back to politics as usual.

It’s about time Obama’s associates are addressed. It seems Obama has a very devious plans for America. It’s not rocket science to realize this man is dangerous to our democracy. I believe he’s a terrorist, a “heart beat” away from infiltrating America’s future, and our way of life. We should be afraid, very afraid.

Comment by JosieM

I have no fear of an Obama Presidency. However, I’m certainly fearful of Palin being a heart beat away from the presidency! Palin should be giving interviews and answering questions on MSM to show us that she has the stuff to help run the country. So far, I have seen interviews where easy questions have been either poorly answered or left unanswered and a debate where her answers were pulled out of a memory of scripts and the use of script cards. Then, there is the poor excuse of why she did poorly in the interview. I say no excuses, no unfounded personal attacks and show a willingness to answer questions directly so we get to know who the real Sarah is. I understand where McCain, Obama, and Biden are coming from although I am concerned McCain is moving in a dishonorable direction with the help of his campaign advisors.

I disagree whole-heartedly with the admiral. McCain has the best record and the most integrity. He has supported the troops many of times. He has provided them with the funding they need. No I don’t agree with this war but, we certainly need to finish what we started. If we don’t then that will show that we are weak and giving in to the terrorist and Hamas. Which might I add that Barack Obama is closely affiliated with leaders of Hamas and terrorist organizations. Also Hamas came out with a statement that they hope Barack Obama wins the election because he will change America. Yes, he will change America alright. He will change it for the worse and he will throw what morals and values we have left down the tubes. Seriously, citizens of the greatest country in the world “are you blinded to the fact that senator Obama is very shady and is affiliated with many groups and people who when the political liabilities came he renounced them. People like Reverend Wright, and Father Hager. And organizations like ACORN. They are very sick people and ACORN is a very immoral and unjust organization.” Americans please wake up and actually retain the dignity that was once the greatest nation in the world.

Could you please explain article headline like the one copied below. I have seen a lot of articles about race, tending to group white people together as prejudice when it comes to voting for the President in the Fall elections. Could it be that most Amercians do not trust Obama? Maybe it is his left wing ultra liberal policies? Possibly his wrong outline on world affairs? Or his friends like Rezko, Wright, Ayers, and Farrakhan? I think it could be his flip flopping on every major concept/idea to appeal to all voters when he chooses to.

I find it amusing that Obama has to have hundreds of articles written for and about him because he cannot stand on his own two feel and conduct any part of this presidential campaign alone.

Did you ever wonder why there are so many articles written about Obama. He honestly feels that the more “data dumping” he does the more he is convincing U.S. Citizens to vote for him. Then thre is the media who has decided “all by themselves” that Obama should be the next President. Why would that be - perhaps because of all the shady characters he has associated with and because MUCH of his money is coming from overseas people who DO NOT HAVE THE U.S. CITIZENS’ BEST INTEREST AT HEART.

Think about it — Where it he money coming from????????????? Obama, it is time for an audit of your funds.

What about the articles — many of the facts are NOT TRUE — but Obama knows that American’s will not bother to check the facts.

WAKE UP AMERICANS — BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE AND BEFORE THIS “Obama” person has an opportunity to REALLY bring harm to the U.S.

WAKE UP AMERICA

Sarah Palin’s comments reflect an increasingly erratic approach from the McCain/Palin camp - don’t focus on the issues most Americans care about or the plans you have to improve the impact of government on Americans - instead, focus on trying to portray your opponent in a negative light.
That reflects poor judgment when we are facing the biggest financial catastrophe since the Great Depression. We need leaders with constructive ideas.

Obama,
Cant recall having any meetings or discussions with Mr. Ayres….
Funny , his own wife arranged a public discussion where both Mr. Ayres and Mr. Obama attended on the panel. What about the Annenberg Challenge (not very successfull school program, but consumed alot of money) where they both attened meetings. No talks between co-founder Ayres and Chairman Obama at any of the meetings that took regulary place for years ? (where they all pre-discussed prior to bringing the rest of the board ? Wood Fund, again both on the board - but again no need for contact - even if they lived in the same neiborhood ? What a involvement - that is where Mr. Obama learned how to be ‘present’ ??
