This is funny to me being that McCain was the first one using the media against Obama. When Obama and Michelle family and other personal matters were exagerated through the media no one had a problem with it. However, when the Palin family and personal issues were brought to light. to include the pending investigation she is trying to sweep under the carpet, all of a sudden the media is exagerating or inappropriate.

Well this election, the media has caved in so much to Obama, it literally is sickening. Were McCain not to release a birth certificate, college records, senate attendance records. ANY of these things, and the media would be over him like a $50 suit. But Obama seems to get a pass on literally everything. But, I guess the media finally has figured out that their readers don’t either believe or trust them anymore, and the rapidly declining circulation numbers bear that out. The only thought I can have about that I’d guess, that if you’re going to commit a ’suicide of credibility’ you may as well try to take the rest of Democracy and balanced journalism with you .

Journalists are being beaten and thrown on the ground by “officers of the peace” currently in the US. They are being muzzled. The corporate world has bought up most of the media and forced journalists to tow the line. The fourth estate, an important watchdog for democracy has been almost silenced. Yet this is still not enough for the pomposity of John McCain and his corrupt corporate handlers.

John Mccain has respect for people, he may have opinions towards people, but his critisism is given in a respectful, professional manner, un-like his opponent.

I am not an American, but keenly follows US Elections, I was previously supporting the Democatics but now I have changed my mind I would like Mr. McCain to win, the reason been you dont get real heros who will govern your contry its scare, and also I see how bais the media has been to Obama, shame Shame on you the bais media to so much support one candidate. As far as I am concerned except for few, objective reporting is dead in America. One of the things that has kept this country free is a free press. Now a “free press” is the exception. I will no longer even turn to MSNBC or CBS or CNN, for they are poisoned. Media bashing, I’m not sure about that. And even if a couple of reporters tend to stray, what about the outspoken over the top conservative talk shows and foxnews. I am sick of the Republicans claims that the main stream media is biased, they have there own networks out there doing the same thing.

This man (McCain) makes Barak and John Carey flip flops look insignificant. Wasn’t he the one who thought the media was his friend. Beside Chris Wallace and about 2 others Fox media is in the Tank for John. John is just mad that he didn’t pick his VP choice wisely. As this election progresses it is incredible that Obama is given a hands off approach from the media to promote their candidate. There are some very hard questions that need to be asked like what was Obama’s involvment with ACORN? And, how did ACORN and the CRA bully banks into making loans to low income people who could never afford their mortgages? The in your face politics of ACORN and crys of discrimination at every turn has made everyone afraid of these organizations!! It is time for a full investigation into this organization–especially when they are involved in a full campaign of voter fraud in Ohio.

When we see the media’s round the clock palin bashing it confirms that the liberal media has targeted the biggest threat to Obama’s campaign.

I cannot believe that people are so ignorant of the facts. To support Obama is like digging a shallow grave. The remains will surface in a short time and there will be nothing left. This individual has never accomplished anything significiant in his entire career other than being a community organizer. He has been and is in the back pocket of the Chicago mafia and will not change his ways as a leopard cannot change its spots either.

When reason or facts are not on your side, the only way to win are thru lies and distortions. The thing is, the media notices these things and will report them aggressively - it’s their job. The trick of the trade to get around this situation is to systematically charge them with bias, and strike at the very foundations of truth in society, starting with the stalwarts in the media environment, to create doubts in the electorate - “oh, don’t believe what everyone else is saying, believe me, I’m the only one speaking the truth”. This is a very effective tactic from the Karl Rove/Steve Schmidt playbook, and in sports, we call this “working the ref”. The sad thing is, it is working, all across the news sites, you see people who are manipulated by this tactic, and repeat these charges “oh the liberal media, they are so biased”. Just because a reporter asks the right questions to extract your real thoughts does not mean they are trying to get you…they were just asking the question - you are the one with the revealing answers, if your answers do not reveal a bad trait, you don’t really get into trouble…just because a reporter questions your actions doesn’t mean they are against you, they are simply trying to understand your motivations for those actions…the motivations are ultimately yours. When the media reports ‘positively’ on a candidate, they are merely reporting on what they see, the actions are the candidate’s. John McCain should stop distracting the electorate and come up with a solid plan and present it to America, instead of playing these roundabout games to mess with the minds of the electorate. His poor judgment, and misguided moral compass are only going to come under closer scrutiny.

I think a lot of dems don’t understand what MSM means…..mainstream media is not FOX or AM talk radio. It’s ABC, CBS, NBC and the major newspapers which are running like 90% for Obama and not ashamed to be bias. Now I believe FOX will become the mainstream media because of this bias and I think those other stations are paying the price where it hurts - their pocket books.

AM talk radio is so popular with conservatives because for a long time it was the only voice for conservations. It started more as a grass roots effot - isn’t that something dems look up to or is it only when it benefits your party.

If you are saying that this country should not have a voice for the republicans then I truely believe democrats do not believe in free speech. What scares you so much that you hate a news station so much just because they provide a different point of view other than your own. If I wanted to live in that type of country I would move to Cuba.

When we talk about media bias, lets all agree that our political leanings also affect our judgement and thus we cannot be objective. that said lets all agree that Not all networks will be for Mccain/pain as fox is. Someone had to also potray the Progressive Obama/Biden Ticket Favorably. There is no media organisation that we can say is totally devoid of any political Lenaege. So lets stop the media bashing
