Palin: Biden=more of the same
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The battle over who represents true change continues.
Gov. Sarah Palin took her first direct shot at her Democratic counterpart Saturday, arguing that Democratic VP nominee Joe Biden is a Washington insider who fails to represent the change America needs.
“Senator Biden can claim many chairmanships across many, many years in Washington and certainly many friends in the Washington establishment, but even those admirers would not be able to call him an agent of change,” Palin told more than 11,000 supporters at an airport hangar rally after calling Biden a “fine” and “decent” man. “We have done some shaking up in Alaska and as governor I took on the old politics as usual in Juneau. I had to stand up to the special interests and the lobbyists and the big oil companies and the good old boys network. And true reform, though it is so hard to achieve-it really is tough—but in short order with the support of our citizens we put the government of our state back on the side for the people.”
The GOP ticket has cast themselves as the true change, Washington outsider ticket during the last 8 days–leading to criticism from Obama today who accused Palin and McCain of being disingenuous in their call for change.
““I know the governor of Alaska has been, you know, saying she is change, and that is great. She is a skillful politician. But when you been taking all these earmarks when it is convenient and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person, that’s not change. Come on! I mean, words mean something. You can’t just make stuff up,” Obama said at an Indiana rally Saturday.
McCain echoed Palin’s message today, accusing Barack Obama of “never” working across the aisle during his time in the Senate.
“I have worked on both sides of the aisle to fix these problems. Senator Obama never has. Not once,” McCain said after running off a litany of issues like taxes, health care and spending where he and the Illinois Senator differ. “If you want real reform and you want real change, send a team mavericks who aren’t afraid to break a little china.”
For his part, Obama argues on the trail that he has worked with Republicans on Capitol Hill during his time in the Senate on issues like nuclear disarmament and ethics reform.

By appointing Palin as VP McCain has proven that he no longer wishes to work across the isle either. Instead he would rather appease the hard right wing of the Republican Party. Four more years.
Mosheh Oinounou - more of the same? is that un-bias reporting?? I have left CNN and will do the same with Fox if this is what you all call reporting.
I don’t care what YOU think nor do the millions of people in this country. We want the FACTS.
Palin == Hail Mary
Gee, maybe Palin and McCain can do their campaigning in black face to make their “change” message more convincing.
Oh, dear. It’s easy to see that McCain has the same spin doctor team that G.W. had. Lots of lies in front of the veiled pat on the back. It’s a shame so many of the Republicans will continue to believe “more of the same”, year after year. Palin is a willing mouthpiece — and she claims to be a Christian? Ummm, “Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you.” But maybe that isn’t in her religion.
How on earth can McCain and Palin push the reform mantra?! They sound exactly like the Republicans of the last 8 years. Palin is a mirror of the Bush administration. Look at her record. She fires anyone who disagrees with her. Is this shades of the Queen - “Off With Their Head” whenever someone disagrees with her? Look at Abraham Lincoln’s administration. He filled his cabinet and his administration with people who disagreed with him. He embraced disagreement, knowing that the administration would come to the best possible answer to the issue facing them. Bush, Cheney, and yes, Palin prefer chopping people off at the legs when they don’t agree with them.
Palin is just plain nasty. It will turn voters off in spite of energizing the Republican base.
Every criticism that Palin or others have toward Joe Biden are directly applicable toward John McCain. Palin is NOT a presidential candidate John McCain and Barack Obama are the presidential candidates. It is apparent that Obama is the agent of change for the future. If John McCain is a agent of change, it is an agent of change to revert to the past.
Biden is just as big of a joke as Obama is. They really deserve each other and compliment the empty politics in which they have shown the American People!
Talk to the press Palin. What are you scared of? Let them ask you some questions without your rovian script. Then we can see how much you really know. Since you have the possibility of being only a 72 year (and ticking) heartbeat away from the presidency the American people need to see what they are voting for.
PALIN is a mere distraction tactic and not so attractive in any sesible folks minds brought to us by Karl Rove and her soulmate Mc Same. they are trying to lie and change our ideas that issues actually matter. Mc Same has been around the Senate just as long as Biden and he is at the top of the ticket and a member of the GOP party that has been busy destroying our constitution and country all at the same time. Bring in a new team AMerica and throw out these bums now: Mc Same, Palin, Craig, Rove, Schmidt, Lieberman, Rudi, Thompson. these clowns are the ones that broke it so don’t let them try and fix it. YES WE CAN! VOTE OBAMA BIDEN EVEN HERE AT FIX NEWS THIR PROPAGANDA MACHINE!
One fact should be clear….John McCain is not the same John McCain who ran for his party’s nomination in 2000. He has veered to the far right from his speech in 2000 where he said, “Neither party should be defined by pandering to the outer reaches of American politics and the agents of intolerance whether they be Louis Farrakhan or Al Sharpton on the left, or Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell on the right.” Sarah Palin believes that the Iraq war is the “will of God”…she is former member of the Pentacostal and her pastor, pastor” Kalnins has preached that critics of President Bush will be banished to hell; questioned whether people who voted for Sen. John Kerry in 2004 would be accepted to heaven; charged that the 9/11 terrorist attacks and war in Iraq were part of a war “contending for your faith;” and said that Jesus “operated from that position of war mode.”
It is impossible to determine how much Wasilla Assembly of God has shaped Palin’s thinking. She was baptized there at the age of 12 and attended the church for most of her adult life. When Palin was inaugurated as governor, the founding pastor of the church delivered the invocation.”
This is more than a “veer to the extreme right…it is a full swing to the right.”
The bridge to nowhere… please, she should give the money back!
Palin had Bush’s speech writer. Now that’s change you can count on….
September 2007: McCain voted against the Webb amendment calling for adequate troop rest between deployments. At the time, nearly 65% of people polled in a CNN poll indicted that “things are going either moderately badly or very badly in Iraq.
May 2006: McCain voted against an amendment that would provide $20 million to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for health care facilities.
April 2006: McCain was one of only 13 Senators to vote against $430,000,000 for the Department of Veteran Affairs for Medical Services for outpatient care and treatment for veterans.
March 2006: McCain voted against increasing Veterans medical services funding by $1.5 billion in FY 2007 to be paid for by closing corporate tax loopholes.
A Military Hero, or McBush with 95% Bush Vote in Congress?
McCain “Supports Bush/Cheney Iraq War of Choice and Continued Oil Occupation… For Next 100 Years if Needed For Victory”!
Wow,why hasn`t this remarkable lady tried to make her stand on political issue out a long time ago.I feel like she is a an aveage female that has put her family first and formost in her life which is whay 90 percent of mothers do but the country needs her and more like her more than ever before.Hats off to her.
The current Republican party is the party of intolerance. Palin has done nothing but criticize the Democrats and brought nothing to the table thus far except lies. She has only favored earmarks so its bs that she says she’s against it now. John McCain has proven he is not able to run the country by such a rash and impulsive move as to pick this woman as his VP. Together, they will ignore global crises in favor of outlawing abortion and all sorts of other private issues that are none of the governments business.
Repubs never tell the truth unless it is politically or economically advantageous. These two candidates, will bring change alright…..a couple of dimes to rub together after they finish the job George Bush started.
O-man has worked across the aisle; it’s basically common knowledge but…..why tell the truth when it won’t get you votes?
McCain’s campaign is run by lobbyists, he doesn’t understand what it’s like to not eat lunch so you can have dinner.
This is a joke. McCain/Palin are running “The Campaign To Nowhere.”

Neither of the comments above has their basis in fact. Rather they are just leftist blather. The changes NObama plans are not good for America. Communism has never worked ANYWHERE.
As Ronald Reagan said, ” Communism only works in HEAVEN where you don’t need it…”
Palin has NOT stand up to the special interests and the lobbyists. What has been reported so far on her is that she was part of Ted Stevens 527 special interest group before she got elected as Governor and even sold the state jet at a discount to a millionaire supporter once in office, NOT through ebay as she claims.
She has NOT stood up to the big big oil companies, instead, what has been reported so far on her is that she has been advocating opening up some of the most pristine wilderness areas to drilling to please the oil companies.
She has NOT been against the good old boys network, instead, what has been reported so far on her is that she got the job at the Alaska oil and gas commission due to being part of the ‘inside group’ at the old boys network.
Palin is a hyprocrite. People will eventually see through her. They did a FACT check on her so called winning speech and it is mostly all lies. How can people believe someone like this can talk with Russia, Georgia, Al Quaida, Iraq and help protect our country? I am so concerned for our country if you are willing to put someone in office that believes it is my way or the highway. The world doesn’t work that way anymore. We have tried that for the last 8 years saying we are the Super Power…look what is happening we are on the brink of more worlds. Please people think before you vote. Both of them are wolves in sheep’s clothing. I would love to have a women for VP or President if they could actually make our country safe…this person is just not it. Fact reality and come back down to earth.
Sarah Palin did not start the FBI investigation of Alaska Political Corruption. I have checked and and you can too. Google this information. Investigation by FBI and Washington started 2004, although multiple complaints had already been lodged over the years prior to 2004. Sarah Palin did not take office until 2006. Sarah ran on change knowing investigation underway. Legislators knew. Many residents knew. Sarah Palin went into office and FBI was already taking care of issue of corruption. Multiple legislators have been indicted as investigations by FBI proceeded.
Sarah Palin complied with FBI. Sarah Palin did not clean up politics in Alaska!!! Sarah Palin just complied. With FBI you do. FBI was doing it already!!
McCain, 26 years in Washington, a man of change? give me a break!
Do you remember the Savings & Loans debacle? One of the 5 senators involved: John McCain. He gave Charles Keating inside information. A total traitor if you ask me.
Why would have he had to pay back to Keating money for using his private jet, to go to Bermuda to Keating’s mansion with his Stepford wife and her daddy?
Graduated bottom of his class, crashed 5 airplanes, one of the accidents over Spain flying too low hit an electrical wire.
Maverick=loose cannon. Look at the dictionary
Please tell me people that the man who has “blue lips” from bruises for telling the American People is not who you will be voting for!
EVERY SINGLE TIME BIDEN OR OBAMA OPENS THEIR MOUTH THEY EMBARASS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND DISRESPECT THEMSELVES!!
it appears that as republicans we do not have any ideas of our own other than steal the dems messages.
and it would be political suicide if sarah palin cannot be in a position to face the press on her own.for how long is she going to work on scripted appearances.lastly there is this potential time bomb regarding the truth behind the last child. lets be ware.
The Flags were beautiful. So Many.
The Democrats should have checked the real condition and contents of the trash bags they so rabidly contend “were taken from them”. The clear plastic bags, left at hundreds of pick-up points at Invesco, contain what you would expect to find at other political events: posters, program notes, empty water bottles, etc. — However, Our Flag showed up in so many of these bags. (Photos are everywhere, take your pick)
The Boy Scouts’ obligatgion was to not only take care of Invesco Field, but the Pepsi Center as well. The flag rescue operation began when the contents from both locations were revealed to those in charge of the volunteer clean-up.
Black plastic bags where used to consolidate and transport the bundled flags that were retrieved from the Pepsi Center and Invesco Field.
If the Democrats really want “thier propterty” returned to them, they should get ALL of it, not just the flags. After all, not one wants to discard or trample on their rights.
From everything I have seen and heard,I’ll take McCain and palin over Obama and crybaby Biden any day. Those two are and have been making so many false promises that they know they can never come thru on only to get the lower class and minority’s votes. After that they will be all forgotten
This headline literally made me laugh out loud when I saw it. The Mccain/Palin team has reached a new level of pathetic.

Peace Out
you liberals are really running scared and you should be scared, real change comes from the people and that is going to take place in November
We have not heard from Palin yet actually. Her speech was written for her by GW’s speech writer and she has been cloistered like O.J’s jury. No press have talked to her what so ever. Tha’ts understandable, a high school journalism student could expose her flimsy facade.
After it all comes out - there is a good chance she could leave the ticket. McCain is looking more and more like Bob Dole. A tired, mean old man put in to do his duty in a hopeless task.
When will Palin talk to the mainstream press? Is the Barracuda afraid to answers questions about issues that are important the American people?
When is Governor Palin going to stop just reading Republican talking points and do an interview where she can explain her record? Don’t give me that “liberal media bias”. Yes there are networks who are clearly bias (MSNBC & Fox) but there are also respectable organizations as well. And if there were a bias, then why would any Republican go on? Why should McCain?
LIES ALL LIES. God i cant stand the fact that these REPS lie and get away with it. I am registered Rep, and i am appalled by the lies that come out of these guys. McCain thinks Americans are stupid with the his stolen Change CatchPhrase. Perhaps he is right because wevote Dubya in the office, and look how that turned out. What even pisses me off is the evangelicals. I swear, when God comes all these Evangelicals r going to hell. Most of them will vote for McCain because he chose sarah palin knowing the fact he would lose this election if he didnt. McCain claims to an agent of change when he has voted 90% of the time George Bush. AMERICANS WAKE UP, 8 years is ENOUGH.
REPS FOR OBAMA 08
Moving left or right during a campaign is politics. Obama moved to the center once he became the nominee so that he could get the moderate base.
I don’t now if anyone noticed, Obama never looks straight ever. He looks left or right all the time. I find that very disturbing. Is it because he’s lying? Most people that lie never look straight.
Besides the lack of experience and the fact that Obama picked a washington insider who has been n the senate longer than McCain shows he’s worried about his lack of experience. He also compared his campaign experience to that of Palin as Mayor and felt very proud of himself.
I would rather vote for someone with experience to be President rather than someone who is young and has a backup with experience. Harvard is good, experience counts more.
Biden is likeable but he said this about Palin after praising her speech,
she made “good, funny lines … I’m glad they weren’t about me. I was sitting there thinking whoa, zinger.”
Imagine what he would say when Russia or China postures against another country.
Its sound to me like there are alot of Libs. on this message board. I love what she is doing and hope she keeps it up. We need to fight for this country. Most of the Media is against McCain. They have already picked there candidate. Barak Obama is nothing but deception. Open your eyes America. Higher Taxes will be suicide for our country.
I’d be embarrased to liken myself as a trained pet (pitbull).
A pig(pitbull) with lipstick is still a pig(pitbill).
Myabe John McCain is the Republican president we should have had 8 years ago, but I’ve had enough of his generation’s regressives ideals. We need to progress towards a real future for this country. As the global leader, we need to do so. The rest of the world will be disappointed to continue the failed policies of the last 8 years.
“But when you’ve been taking all these earmarks when it is convenient and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person, that’s not change.”
So, let me see if I have this right: if you unabashedly continue taking earmarks, that *is* change? I’d think very carefully before going down that road if I were either O or B. Obama reported $750 Million in earmarks in the past three years (NYT, 3/14/08), and Biden has been recognized as ‘Porker of the Month’ by Citizens against Government Waste and was a runner up for ‘Porker of the Year’ in 2002 (cagw.org).
By contrast, Palin did take earmarks at one time, but then she *did* stop. That sure sounds like change to me.
After reading the comments above, I am more sure than ever that this country is headed to another civil war. It may not come for awhile, but our country is being split, and the next war is coming.
Palin, who is so much like Bush, represents change? I think not. And if experience and knowing who the players are equates to being insiders, I’d rather have an insider like Biden than an uninformed outsider like Palin.
When Sarah Palin who’s persona has been crafted in the image of the Pagan Goddess Diana refuses to do interviews because no mortal member of the press is good enough to question her,
I think, whoever crafted this farce has gone too far!
This kind of archetypical image building is proof enough of the insanity which typifys Washington business as usual. McCain and Palin need to come down from Mt Olympus and get real.
Enough of the B.S. already.
Honestly, it’s very difficult for me to dissociate McCain from Bush. It’s even harder for me to dissociate Palin from Bush… this in regard to the economy, the war on terror, and the like. The party who is running McCain’s campaign and writing Palin’s speeches is the SAME party that supported Bush and all of his policies… and the McCain camp knows this because they are trying as much as they can to distance themselves from Bush. It’s going to be very difficult for Republicans to make the case that they didn’t have a hand in Bush’s policies, particularly since many of those same politicians (including Bush himself) endorse McCain and are currently the ones running his campaign. A true ‘maverick’ isn’t one who will distance himself from Bush for the sake of an election; a true maverick would have denounced Bush’s policies from the beginning. What’s worse is that no one, not even Republicans, want to own up to the past eight years.
Wow the Dem Moonbats are out in force. This is a story that is pretty balanced, not sure what is the objection here - guess Dems don’t like it when people call their bluff.
Retitle the Article: McCain= Bush Administration and McKinley Administration
Biden who? Talk abot Mr Irrelevant.
Obama is an empty suit. Biden has been wrong about every major issue of the last 30 years.
Palin represents true change. McCain is the only man on the ticket with enough guts and forsight to lead this country to a better day. Obama will lead us to only misery and pain.
facts :one thing you can’t do is blame a black president in country for its down fall.
Palin is a slick stomach turning right wing politician who styles herself after Tom Delay. It doesn’t seem to occur to her that we all know the John McCain that was and how he has debased himself to please the neocons - he has abandoned every ethical stand he ever took - how can we trust him.
And please - the economy is in trouble, we need to vote for Obama/Biden for the future to ensure a good footing for our kids.
We’ve had eight years of republicans bending over backwards to benefit corporate america and where has that gotten, the mortgage scandal that is costing all of us when we can sorely afford it. I haven’t forgotten how casually McCain entertains going to war with Iran and his determined refusal to consider the failure that was the Iraq decision.
Americans cannot afford eith more years of the same. Turn the channel.
Some sing the virtue’s of Joe Biden’s foreign policy and it’s true he does have much experience. The problem is since the day’s of Jimmy Carter, he has been wrong everytime. Whether it was detente and the cold war, to being afraid to use strength against the USSR like Ronald Reagan, to ignoring terrorism all throughout the 1990’s. He then supported the war until it was unpopular and came up with the plan to divide Iraq into 3 parts. That would of created Civil War and lastly he is wrong on the surge. It’s true that Joe Biden has plenty of experience but history has shown that he’s been wrong everytime!
McCain = Bush Administration and McKinley Administration
McCain/Palin = being afraid.
Obama/Biden = being brave enough to vote for true change + hope.
Why are so many in America so afraid?
Stand up and fight for a better America!
Another veteran’s voice shouting out.
The thought of having to hear that woman’s strident, caterwauling voice spewing her lies and ignorance for the next four years is too much to bear. And that McCain would even consider opening up his country to the remotest possibility that she could actually end up president is mind boggling. She’s a cross between Harriet Miers with her lack of qualification and Tonya Harding with her vengeful, perpetually angry persona. And to hear Republicans gush over this creature because she’s able to read a teleprompter for an hour without stumbling over her words is not just moronic, it’s dishonest, particularly when one keeps in rmind that the entire piece of drivel was written by a long time Bush speechwriter. Ugh.
speech by john mccain white america please lets not let a black president bring us down any further than where we are lets lets a white women do that.he is loved all over the world and we can not tolerate that in our america i say again i am one of you vote for me.
Palin: A walking, talking puppet for Schmits (Rove), doesn’t have words of her own, let alone a plan to dig America out of economic ruin.
Eight is enough!
Wow, what an absurd and stupid idea. How in god’s name do they think they can claim to be the change ticket? They are the party/ideas/ideals we need to change FROM!
When has Obama ever reached across the aisle? When has he ever sponsored legislation? Can any of you Dems answer that question? I’ll help you — NEVER. He’s been too busy campaigning and writing memoirs to be bothered with that stuff.
this is a shame. we are getting ready to vote for president and the only thing the Rep. can come up with something about the dem nominee we are looking for someone that is going to get us out of this mess that we are in in America not to judge others. I know it hurt to know that you are doing and saying the things that Bush has already showed us. Obama at least is showing us that he do have a plan to try and change this nation where you are going after things that we already know about. This is the same.
She,s a disgrace to women and our fight for equal rights She,s a Cheerleader for fachisim. If American men vote for her they will be listening to that voice for awhile. I think her father may be the real father to her 5th child,(Politically incorrect but if the shoe fits……) We are free women in a society that needs to change and we love our strong democratic men and women that will give us the true meaning of living in the USA. If you wanna be eating satan Busquets with some fachist broad who will take us back to the draconian years, check this sic f*** out.Naomi Vice

Right on …
But if Obama won, I will get a biger welfare check !!!
Now I do not know what to think…. lol
fox will have a lot of ass to kiss win obama -biden win this elect.
the non minorities has destoryed this country.no minority president has
Obama talks of change: His idea of change is to punish business for making a profit, tax big oil because they are the cause of high cost in gasoline. To the demo goblins that sounds great. Yea, stick it to em Obama! People with this Obama mentality don’t realize that buy doing this the chickens will come home to roost.
Taxing big oil will only send the cost of gas higher, we won’t need alternative fuels because no one will be able to afford to go to work until after they are invented. So we can just get use to $8.00 to $10.00 in gas and feel good about it under Obama plan of change, and the hope we will have is that he will only be a one term president.
Raising taxes on business, will only put more people out of work, and the cost of products will only escalate. Obamas plan is to put more people on unemployment and welfare than what is already there.
To see the plan and the change and the hope Obama has in mind, all one needs to do is look at the state of Michigan. High taxes, zero job growth, and is now called the Winter wonder, Welfare state. The other word for it is a socialist state. All this summed up in two words. NOBAMA!
Sarah What’s-Her-Name is smoking something that’s probably illegal. In case she doesn’t know, the current VP is a Republican, and an evil one at that. Last I checked, Joe Biden is a Democrat and has been forever.
A Republican VP following a Republican VP would be more of the same. Any Democrat following Cheney could only be called a breath of fresh air.
Ask Obama and Biden why their convention tossed our flags into the trash and on the ground after the end of their convention. Ask them how this shows such respect for our flag and country. It does show how carring they really are.
Both Camps desire change. However, which type of change does America desire?
McCain\Palin = Patriots
Obama\Biden = Marxist
Vote for McCain\Palin!
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/06/mccain-camp
-to-chastise-dems-for-discarding-american-flags/>
Now ask them why they did this.
What kind change do we need in washington - color change or polictical change? Do candidates have to paint their faces to prove that they are the change agents? Really?
I do not think we need change. what we need is reform - becuase change sounds like an empty promise.
Don’t ya just love it! They couldn’t get their negative points across on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC and all the other left wing media outlets so they finally have tried to voice it here. Ya gotta love these idiots. Keep up the work, and remember as a senator McCain like Obama, had a say in bills and earmarks (which McCain never had as its unwanted spending) but as President he will have more than just a say…….he’ll have a PEN and thats called VETO POWER. That is the change that the McCain/Palin ticket bring……you know, Change that you can believe in……GO MCCAIN/PALIN 08.
AN INDEPENDENT IN WASHINGTON STATE
Increase taxes on corporations, businesses and people who make $150k per year. The companies will pass the expense on to consumers and/or cut jobs. Small businesses won’t be able to make it and will cut jobs or go out of business. More people will end up on Entitlement Programs (WELFARE). Soon, there will be only the Elite and Entitlement. Can you say Socialism?
Hmm… Pay most of my earnings to taxes or sit back and let the government provide my housing, food and clothing while I flip channels on TV…
Comment to Ralph: Hey from Canada!! What’s with the naivety? Have you watched the news in America (which is the country you live in, in case you’re wondering)? It’s almost exclusively biased to the RIGHT!! But I guess I’m only gonna run into the uninformed on a FoxNews website.
Kc - What a stupid comment. Do you say those kinds of things face to face with people? Plus, your link on the above story is a Republican spin. How do I know this stuff in a foreign country and you don’t know it in your home country.
Just so all y’all know: The whole world is counting on the people of America. Don’t F*** This Up!! Or you deserve what you get.
[...] As I keep reading coverage, I’m wondering where is Joe Biden in all of this? I haven’t seen him respond even [...]
Unbelievable how fast the Democratic Machine has turned their troops on to the forums and message boards. I have to hand it to you! The real truth is that the a year ago, no one thought the Republican party could field a candidate team that could win the presidency. But now, something totally unexpected has occurred and you can hear the fear in nearly every one of these posts. How many of you ever thought that the polls would have the election a dead heat 60 days out?
Quick, quick, post some more liberal blah, blah blah. Maybe someone will listen…
ChuckF - It’s not the Democratic Machine. It’s everybody on the planet!
It’s like the entire planet is watching America decide whether or not act out an episode of “Fraser”. It could be an extremely painful thing to watch . . . but the difference is that we (the rest of the world) can tell you that you could potentially be doing something astoundingly stupid.
DON’T F*** THIS UP, PLEASE!!!
Well, I suppose she could also say McCain=Bush, more more more of the same.
Wondering why she left that out, maybe the speech writers left it out!
Just my comments, thanks and have a blessed day
Palin & McCain = T & A
You don’t need to ask questions when all you wanna do is stare in disbelief.
McCain / Palin 08!
And McCain is somehow an agent of change after being part of the problem for at least 26 years and certainly the last 8? Funny how the McCain campaign seems to have cut and run on their own experience argument as soon as Ms. Mooseburger joined the ticket. Now the catchphrase is ‘change.’ These people are despicable.
What is your point about all the flags? What should they do - give them all to the Salvation Army? Bush has trashed our COUNTRY for the last eight years. That’s far worse than the fate of a bunch of flags!
You people not only stuck us with Shrub, but then you re-elected the dimwit. The rest of us are tired of having been sold out here at home and of being reviled around the world. We saw a just war involving going after Bin Laden. We had the whole world with us, until Bush spit in their eye and declared he was going to invade Iraq. He said it would be a walk in the park. There should have been a lot of RED FLAGS going up then! There should have been such an avalanche of letters and phone calls that congress wouldn’t have felt pressured by the neocons who wrapped themeselves in that FLAG and declared that either you are with us or against us!
We’re mad as Hell and we aren’t going to take it anymore! Being a Liberal and wanting an attitude change in Washington is an honor compared to what you conservatives have done to our country! You are a bunch of self-centered “I got mine, and the hell with you” people. Country first, my ass! We The People ARE the Country! If The People are not doing well then the country is sick.
Who cares about substance? Who cares about boring-shmoring issues like healthcare, unemployment, gas prices, war, blah blah blah.
If you care more about someone who SAYS they’re going to change this country VS someone who is already changing it, then I say - without reservation:
MCCAIN - PALIN 2008
WOO-HOO!
McCain/Palin - Proven Reform
Obama/Biden - Unproven Change
Sarah Palin and the Alaskans have stolen 220 million from the american tax payer. Alaskans is about to receive a state payout of 3,200 for each person. Next the alaskans will receive food stamps. American tax payer need to ask for our money back. How much the alaskans is going to get if Palin become vice president.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I thought the Democrats took control of both houses in Congress in 2006. It’s been 2 years now I haven’t seen much change. What I have seen is the Democrats political philosphy of my way or nothing gets done. So for two years nothing has been done. This does not sound like bipartisanship on the Democrats side. Actions speak louder than words and Senator Obama has sided with the Dems in Congress 100% of the time. He has never stood against his party. If Senator Obama wins the only change we will see is the rubber stamping of the liberal agenda which the majority of America does not want. If the last 8 years were bad with extreme right policies the next 4 will be worse with extreme left policies coming out of Congress with a President to scared to veto them.
Why does everyone forget that the best years of the Clinton presidency were with a Republican controlled Congress.
I think many people have forgotten that things can always get worse and that is what the Democrats have in mind. Punishment for pushing them out of power about 12 years ago.
Nothing good has come out of a Democratic controlled congress and presidency.
