Obama Camp Responds
In a strongly worded email to supporters, Obama’s campaign manager David Plouffe said last night’s Republican convention displayed “McCain’s attack squad of negative, cynical politicians” that lied, attacked, mocked, and insulted its way through a series of prime time speeches. Read the email - sent early this morning - below.
Friend –
I wasn’t planning on sending you something tonight. But if you saw
what I saw from the Republican convention, you know that it demands a
response.
I saw John McCain’s attack squad of negative, cynical politicians.
They lied about Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and they attacked you for
being a part of this campaign.
But worst of all — and this deserves to be noted — they insulted
the very idea that ordinary people have a role to play in our
political process.
You know that despite what John McCain and his attack squad say,
everyday people have the power to build something extraordinary when
we come together. Make a donation of $5 or more right now to remind
them.
Both Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin specifically mocked Barack’s
experience as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago more
than two decades ago, where he worked with people who had lost jobs
and been left behind when the local steel plants closed.
Let’s clarify something for them right now.
Community organizing is how ordinary people respond to out-of-touch
politicians and their failed policies.
And it’s no surprise that, after eight years of George Bush, millions
of people have found that by coming together in their local
communities they can change the course of history. That promise is
what our campaign has been about from the beginning.
Throughout our history, ordinary people have made good on America’s
promise by organizing for change from the bottom up. Community
organizing is the foundation of the civil rights movement, the women’s
suffrage movement, labor rights, and the 40-hour workweek. And it’s
happening today in church basements and community centers and living
rooms across America.
Meanwhile, we still haven’t gotten a single idea during the entire
Republican convention about the economy and how to lift a middle class
so harmed by the Bush-McCain policies.
It’s now clear that John McCain’s campaign has decided that desperate
lies and personal attacks — on Barack Obama and on you — are the
only way they can earn a third term for the Bush policies that McCain
has supported more than 90 percent of the time.
But you can send a crystal clear message.
Enough is enough. Make your voice heard loud and clear by making a $5
donation right now:
https://donate.barackobama.com/fightback
Thank you for joining more than 2 million ordinary Americans who
refuse to be silenced.

That’s it? That’s all? The Obama campaign responds with “Send more money”. Truly inspiring. Can we vote right now and get this over with?
Please. They are attacking us…we flipped on public financing…we need your money. Don’t believe them, just send us money.
Obama attacks and attacks (mostly on Bush) and is negative and sexist and yet when the Republicans responds he whines. I guess that is what being a socialist is all about. Obama you scare me. You are all talk and no show. You have no experience except as being a community organizer HA HA HA HA. pttttttttttttttttttttt You are not qualified Obama, Hillary was but you are not. I am a scoop Jackson Democrat that will probably sit out the election or possibly vote for McCain. This country cannot afford 4 more years or 8 of tax and spend policy. Hell the Chinese already own us.
Sorry Obama, I won’t be sending you any money to help dry your tears or repair your bruised ego. Gov. Palin and Mayor Guliani may have been a little tough on you last night but I have never seen in my life, two better examples of the American Spirit! They raised spirits, inspired action, and simply told it like it is!
Why are the Dems always asking for money, don’t they know that their people can’t afford to fill up their cars? Maybe they should give them money. Didn’t Obama already try to bribe Americans with a 1K PAYOFF?
It appears that the Obama campaign can’t come up with any stronger defense then to associate the current rep. ticket with more of the same and George Bush. Uh, that’s just not going to be enough. You know, the Obama campaign opened the discussion of Obamas community worker experience after they FIRST diminished her experience, executive experience that is. Which, let’s face it, is actually more impressive then Obamas.
Looks like he was just begging for money!
And how does Mr. Plouffe feel when Obama claims to have run (manage) the campaign himself for the past 2 years (which then makes him qualified to be president)? I guess that he and Mr. Axelrad have just been sitting on their thumbs all of this time - he obviously didn’t give them any credit!
AMERICA IS FOR MCCAIN PALIN ALL THE WAY
NO TO OBAMA -BIDEN SHEER LOSERS
That wasn’t a ‘response’ … it is a fund-raiaing comment… Interesting… BO’s “executive experience” in his own words is running his campaign. Must be nice to manage the campaign with an open-ended checkbook and no budgetary constraints… No wonder BO wouldn’t stay withing the campaign finance reforms he originally claimed to and then lied and flip-flopped… that type of managing would require actually managing accounts with limits.
Put him in charge of the trillion+dollar US budget? yikes…
Obama, if I had made a five dollar donation… I’d be asking for my money back!
STEP ASIDE OBAMA, THERE’S A NEW STAR IN TOWN!!!
Are you kidding me. Do the Obama people beleive the American people are stupid. Forget that it was retorical. They are the most visous hate filed liars and atack dogs known to man and now they are winning that Ara Plain fought back. Poor baby Obama got dressed dwon and shown for the empty suit he is. It is over Obama you are no match for Ara Palin. She is Middel America! You are the elite and hollywood America they made you they serve you and you represent them. Sara and MCCain represent the rest of us average people that you say are clinging to religion because were lost. You sir are a great snake oil salesman but you are no president.
STEP ASIDE OBAMA THERE’S A NEW STAR IN TOWN!!!!!
As a psychotherapist I saw a young pilot in training who was troubled by his relationship with his girlfriend. He said he loved to fly because it was very clear, “the landing gear was up or the landing gear was down.” He said he had a hard time relating to his girlfriend because he couldn’t figure out what was right or what was wrong. People would like to thank in relationships there is a right way and a wrong way, the good guys and the bad guys. This is as true in international relations as it is in family relations. This is the problem with the McCain-Palin ticket. They would like to believe that obliterating the bad guys will solve the problem. If it were only that easy, I would vote for them.
Sounds kind of familier. Community organizer, Community organizer, Community organizer. But don’t do anything, just give us money and we’ll handle everything for you!
Typical liberal democrat, always digging for more from your wallet!
It will not stop there!
I think it’s funny that immediately the response is to request money. Rather than speak to the truth of calling certain segments of Americans bitter and claiming that they cling to their guns and religion, instead the campaign immediately goes back to fund raising - which is, after all, what community organizing is all about. “Typical white” people, like myself, I guess are tired of the response from the liberals always being Give more money to our cause and that way we can spend your money instead of our own and then when we’re elected we’ll raise taxes so you don’t have to give money anymore - WE’LL JUST TAKE IT. Sorry, but your only right about one thing, Enough is enough, enough with saying that higher taxes will solve global warming, enough with saying that the solution to abortions is more of them, enough with shameless self promotion in the name of representing the people and enough with always crying foul when the truth is told about your lack ability to do anything other than give speeches and run for office - which as far as I can tell is all the Democratic nominee’s career has been about.
The Republican party showed the nation the truth about what kind of future the opponent has in store for us. Of course the Democratic party is going to respond with such vile. We understand the “sting” that party must be feeling. Afterall, to witness Democratic supporters rallying up for McCain must be something to loose sleep over. TRUTH HURTS! Shame on you!
David,
I see you (a DEM) have already begun your taxing ways by soliciting $5.
As for the “attack squad”, it is SAD that you try to characterize the Republican response to Obama’s disrespectful comments in HIS speech in Denver with such rhetoric. Your candidate has NO game!
I did not hear her mock community organizers. She in fact, related her duties as a mayor to that of a community organizer, but elevated it to a position that had “actual responsibilites”. In other words there was a price to pay with each decision - failure or success. Much more responsibility than a community organizer.
It has been evident that the democrats have mocked her job as a mayor and a governor. They can clearly dish it out but not take it - the normal double standard that prevails in the liberal left of the democratic party.
I hope Mr. Plouffe will continue beating his chest espousing these blowhard, worn out phrases. It will surely help McCain-Palin to move forward to what USA needs.
Go Sarah!
Oh Wa-a-a-a.h……..how is it the dem camp can throw around incredible lies and half truths, but when some real answers are tossed back, all the dems can do is cry about it. What goes around comes around people, deal with it! If you are intent on your dirty politics you had best prepare yourself for getting back as good as you give. Just once I would like to see a “clean” campaign, but I think those days are behind us and that is so very pitiful. For those of us sitting out here in TV Land watching this fiasco, we are reminded of our days in junior highschool, for that it what the whole thing is reminiscent of. Sarah Palin is such a breath of fresh air because she was able to get the point across, tongue in cheek, and address it for what it is….. BS.
I don’t think the most telling part of this email blast is the fact that they disputing things within the speaches from MN. . . I’d say it’s more telling that they took the time to make sure that they asked everyone to send money to the campaign. .. TWICE.
It’s comical how Plouffe calls last nights speakers liars without naming specific lies. Obamas biggest nightmare was that the conservative base would get excited about the upcoming election because of McCains choice for VP. The biggest hazard to Obama at the moment are the far left bloggers in his own party that continually embarass the democratic nominee.
Hey Democrats!!! What part of the speech given by Palin made it so hard to understand what our plan for the economy is?? Lower taxes, eliminate excessive spending, and giving the people the right to choose where we spend our money!!! Duh. Also, offshore drilling so gas prices drop. Sounds like a plan to me!!
THEY ARE TERRIFIED OF SARAH PALIN,SHE HAS STOLEN THE SPOTLIGHT FROM THE FRAUD B.O. OBAMA…
THEY LOVED HER,AND THIS POWERFUL WOMAN WILL GO A VERY LONG WAY.
WAKE UP AMERICA B.O. OBAMA IS A FRAUD……………………………
David Plouffe:” Friend – I wasn’t planning on sending you something tonight. But if you saw
what I saw from the Republican convention, you know that it demands a
response.”
Translation: “But if you saw what I saw from the Republican convention,” you know we are in trouble.
Sarah Palin’s speech was outstanding. She was on target, and her criticisms of Senator Obama were were totally based on fact. It is interesting this morning reading the responses from the Obama campaign–all attacks on McCain and the GOP, offering no defense for the points Governor Palin criticized Obama on.
I think she great, I am done with the DemoDictator Paryty. I will be voting for the Maverick who selected this extraordinary VP/
McCain/Palin 08, Yes we Can!
I was very impressed with Sarah’s delivery from a public speaking point of view. However, I was quickly turned off when the level of sarcasm became greater in her attack of Obama. I wanted to hear about HER not Obama. And I’m beginning to wonder who is running against whom. Is this Obama vs McCain this year or Obama vs Palin this year for the presidency. I’m confused.
“Community organizing is how ordinary people respond to out-of-touch
politicians and their failed policies.”
Lets see… Obama was a community organizer when Clinton was President. So, Mr. Plouffe, according to this statement he was reaching out to those who felt Clinton was out of touch with his failed policies. I see…
“They lied about Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and they attacked you for being a part of this campaign.”
Mr. Plouffe, you failed to mention any examples of lies.
“they insulted the very idea that ordinary people have a role to play in our political process.”
I’m still waiting for an example of where they did this as well.
“Meanwhile, we still haven’t gotten a single idea during the entire Republican convention about the economy and how to lift a middle class so harmed by the Bush-McCain policies.”
I think I remember hearing tax cuts for every American and business. I also heard more drilling and development of alternative fuels (lower energy costs) and allowing working class americans a choice instead of forcing them to be in unions.
Mr. Plouffe, please watch a speech before you decide to criticize it. Americans are not as stupid as you and Obama think we are.
It sounds like Obama knows that the game is over. He is a stuttering mass of jello because the country now knows the Messiah has no clothes.
Sarah Palin just sliced and diced the Messiah and he is trying to figure out why theres blood on his pressed shirt. She gutted him like a field dressed moose!
Well at least he has hope and change. I hope he has enough change to buy his bus ticket back to Chicago.
This is a desperate plea to those who will believe anything. Send money? They keep saying there was no mention of the economy, but when you address tax policies you are addressing the economy. If you tax businesses we all pay out of our pockets and may lose our jobs. Thanks, but no thanks.
Yeah, criticize Palin and the Republicans for speaking the truth about NObama and then turn around and beg for $5 from NObama supporters. Geez, you dems are simply ridiculous!
Wow! you guys at the OBAMA camp are dense… MILLIONS OF FORMER HILLARY SUPPORTERS DON’T,AND REGARDLESS OF ALL THE PERSUASION TACTICS YOU TRY TO USE, WILL NEVER SUPPORT BARACK OBAMA!!!
“But worst of all — and this deserves to be noted — they insulted
the very idea that ordinary people have a role to play in our
political process.”
EXCUSE ME BUT THE MESSAGE I GOT FROM PALIN’S BRILLIANT SPEECH WAS ALL ABOUT HOW ORDINARY PEOPLE, JUST LIKE HER, CAN PLAY A ROLE IN POLITICS!!!
UNFORTUNATELY FOR OBAMA TOO MANY OF US BELIEVE THE ONLY ROLE HE PLAYS IS PORTRAYING SOMEONE WITH ACCOMPLISHMENTS!
ORDINARY PEOPLE… ALSO JOIN THE PTA… THEY RUN FOR MAYOR… THEY START SEEING HOW THEIR ACTIONS MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND KEEP GOING!!! THEY GET TO BE GOVERNOR BY ACTUALLY ACHIEVING SUCCESS NOT JUST PROMISING IT IF “WE” GET THE CHANCE!
I GET A PRETTY GOOD IDEA FROM SARAH PALIN’S SPEECH THAT SHE AND JOHN MCCAIN WILL BE A TEAM… YOU DON’T RECRUIT TALENT LIKE SARAH PALIN AND EXPECT IT TO BE IDLE…
GOING INTO WASHINGTON AND STARTING TO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT WASTEFUL SPENDING , DIRECTING THE PUBLIC FUNDS IN PROGRAMS THAT ARE NECESSARY AND HELPFUL TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL BE A GREAT START… WE ALREADY CAN SEE WHAT A FINE JOB PALIN HAS DONE… AND ARE ANTICIPATING SOME HOUSECLEANING IN WASHINGTON…
BY THE WAY… WHY ARE YOU SO DESPERATELY ASKING FOR MONEY AT THIS POINT??? I THOUGHT YOU GUYS WERE DOING SO WELL???
REMEMBER… YOU’RE “NEVER SUPPOSED TO LET THEM SEE YOU SWEAT”
GAME OVER…. OBAMA!!!
THIS WOMAN HAS REACHED ACROSS THIS GREAT COUNTRY AND TOUCHED OUR SPIRIT WITH REAL HOPE!!! MC CAIN- PALIN 2008 IS THE WINNING TICKET!!!
P.S. YOU SHOULD HAVE KEPT HILLARY…
Obama has eloquence with no substance. Change can be both good and bad. The present Democratic House and Senate has the lowest approval ratings reported for many years. They rate much lower than President Bush who the Dem’s slam at every moment. So the change in congress did nothing for us as Americans. They have accomplished absolutely nothing this term.
I think this was a great ploy by the Obama camp to raise a few dollars. The fact that Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani made critical statements about Obama is a bit hypocritical. I believe the Obama campaign has been lashing out at Gov. Palin for almost a week now and the Republicans have found dignified ways of setting the record straight. There comes a time when you need to accept some personal accountability and stop passing the buck to the easy target. If Obama feels so strongly about these ideals of his, how is it that he’s done nothing about it while in the US Senate. There is absolutely nothing any Obama supporter can say about Palin’s experience, they should be focusing on McCain. Comparing her to Obama has become the highlight when it comes to the experience topic. To all Obama supporters, I say this, it is so because he cannot battle or overcome the exceptional experience of Sen. John McCain.
Dear Mr Plouffe,
BOO HOO, WAA WAA. GET OVER IT. It is ashame that your candidate has such thin skin and does not seem to understand he needs to wear his “big boy” pants.
Good job David.
I was also surprise how the convention failed to mention any of the concerns of the american people. Instead they just went on and on attacking persons and not policies. Where is the meat so far?
sounds like you just want a donation. Tell me what the lies were.
David Plouffe, you are absolutely pathetic. You and the Dems have nothing else to defend yourselves with other than saying the GOP are liars and to compare John McCain to George Bush…..shame on you to mislead and mis-inform the general public again and again!
my reply hell no
Obama - you have no class, no moral center, no clue, and absolutely no experience in executive matters. How dare you prop yourself up to be president? Your arrogance is amazing. You and yours provoked the attacks (all valid) last night. Its just tough that you don’t care for them. Perhaps if your team had not gone negative on Palin the moment she was announced as VP this could have been done differently. But for the pot to call the kettle black - hypocricy.
Wise - up people…
Tax business “MORE” & everything you buy from business will cost “MORE..”
Even a democrat should understand that.
When will you learn? It’s the buyer that pays the tax - Not the seller.
It is the collector of the tax (government) that benefits - Not you the payer!
A great many teachers thru their union (pimp) are sucking every drop of blood they can from the American taxpayer, at the same time providing less and less in educated citizens.
“Pay ‘ME’ More & Work ‘ME’ less - Don’t ask - Don’t tell ( about ‘MY’ performance)
“‘WE’ don’t need no stinking standards”… money shoveled down the toilet.
Put McCain / Palin in office and move this country forward.
DO not let the DnC commit fraud on the entire country,
Too Bad, that’s politics did the Chosen one think they would sing his priases?
Obama’s entire campaign, and career have been scripted from the beginning to get him to the Presidency. This absurd soap opera has been in-concert with TV personalities and their cronies at ABC, NBC, and CBS. Unforturnately, the well-rehearsed fiction of Obama with his staging have been believed by many as being truths. Fortunately, there may be time to have the Land of Oz dispelled with the likes of McCain-Palin who represent a genuine, middle American.
This is sooooo laughable!!! This guy is denying the obvious and asking for more money. Desperate times require desperate measures.
this guy should be a community organizer!!!!!!
If you believed in what you said that the economy got so bad , why are you asking for a $5.00 donation? Don’t you think even a penny will be too much to anyone in a bad economy? Afterall , bad economy means no money ,right? Iam a democrat voting for MCCain and my main reason is ,MCCain is qualified. I am rethinking my being a democrat after I have seen the worst form of disloyalty. I could not believe that the Democrat Party could allow H.Clinton lose ( the torch bearer of the party being a first lady twice , Bill Clinton being a two -term US president .What does Democrat Party value? They are even willing to have an unqualified individual to be a president? How much can Democrat Party lower the standard of the number one job in America?) .Republican Party has loyalty and they follow a pecking order.Democrat doesn’t follow that natural pecking order.Democrat Party does’nt follow any rule , be it in training , friendship, loyalty , etc.
David Plouffe, should go back and listen to Obama’a convention speech. Obama mentioned McCain by name over 40 times. David, if it is change want show us change. Stop lies, take the alloted government money, don’t spend millions more than McCain. Get out there and tell the people what you will change and how that change will impact us.
I’ve had just about enough of the lies and double talk!
Barry Pershan
Do Not let B.O. put your family “under the Bus”
B.O., “I am the one I have been waiting for”

pELOSI, “there will be NO vote in my Congress”
rEID, “The war is over’ We Lost”
dEAN, “Ye -haa” “I need racial unrest in America”
A child knows this is wrong.
Sounds like Rudy and Sarah got to the Obama people. Good for them.
The letter to the Obama faithful sounds like something from a televangelist. Send your money and be saved !
Wow! So Mr. David Plouffe, Campaign Manager Obama for America, first, let me say that am one of those “ordinary people”. My everyday job of being one is driving a truck, a big rig or if you like a semi. I watched everynight of your convention and was impressed. However, your canidate, Obama, said something that I know to be a lie about McCain. That is that he, McCain said that middle class we those who earned under 5 million dollars. I watched the forum at Saddelback Church Mr. Plouffe, and McCain said no such thing! Talk about spin. I am so tired of the theatrics on both sides and it is a sigh of relief that the Gov. from Alaska is in this campaign. Yes, I am ordinary person, however, I do belive in the truth being told. So Mr. Plouffe, I agree that there is merit in community service and I know what it is like to unemployed, I know what it is like to worry over how I will feed my children. Oh, by the way, I am a single dad. Worry over keeping a roof over their head and pay the heating bill and all the other bills. But please know, I not the government, had to decide to do something for myself and my children. And so I did. I had to change my career focus and do what I could, thus I am driving a truck. This Mr. David Plouffe, Campaign Manager Obama for America, is what most “ordinary people” do. I don’t need Obama’s help and I don’t need McCain’s help as well. We ordinary people can do without handouts. But I will tell you this, I will vote for McCain. I would tell you my reason but I don’t think you would understand this ordinary person.
I still find it amaizing that Obama supporters want to lump McCain and Bush together. Anyone who pays any attention to politics should know that this is further from the truth. I guess that they feel that is the only way they can hope to win this election.
David Plouffe’s letter above is both pathetic and hilarious. Pathetic - while some of the comments made about Obama may have been scathing - none of them were lies. Obama is THE most unqualified candidate to run for President in the memory of most living Americans, possibly ever. While his community work is laudable - it in no way prepares him for executive responsibilities. He has no qualifying experience and has done nothing. Hilarious - “We’ll show those republicans what we can do - send us more money?!?.” They are just terrified that Obama’s supporters and others who support him will finally open their eyes and see the truth about the man.
My question to MR. Plouffe then is it okay for Sen Obama, Sen Biden and the rest of his orgainization to make light of the public service that Gov Palin has provided to the people of her town and to her state? Why is it that you folks seem to want to give but when someone responds you seem hurt and dismayed? There is an old saying “What goes around, comes around.” My suggestion son is to live with it. I know that Sen Obama has tried to do things for folks in need but also don’t expect other folks to just sit and take it when you dish out dirt or mockery of them.
Wow, let’s ask for money…again. I can say that too:
I believe that Jon is the best person in the world…pay me $5 to show them how!
Please
Thanks
I am afraid of Obama of what he may do to this country,he thinks he is another JFK in no way can he ever be that man,He is too liberal,he will cast this country to a 2nd class nation. What will be will be but I pray Mc Caine gets elected, because should something happen His VP would make a great woman president, and on the other side Biden would also be a disaster to this country.
We will win in Nov.
Obama in 08/12
So very typically. Say their lying and counter with your own lies. This coming from a campaign that got started in the “Windy City”. All their politicans are full of hot air.
“You can do it America… you can fight back now!!! (For a simple 5 dollar fee, payable by credit card immediately…)”
For some reason I think its gonna take more than 5 dollar donations to prove that an Obama/Biden ticket has what it takes to run the country…
OH, COME ON–WAH,WAH,WAH—IF obama’s peeps keep the same old tired response that a BUSH WRITER wrote the speech, they all lie… BLAH,BLAH—IT’S BORING.
NOW THEY WANT 5 BUCKS FOR WHAt—MAYBE WITH ALL THOSE DONATIONS HE COULD HELP THE ECONOMY AND PAY DOWN THE NATIONAL DEBT…
Sounds like a typical response, and what you can expect from the Dem’s. They feel the best way to handle any problem is to ask the “people” for money! Campain probems-more money, Health Care problems- more money (raise taxes), Education problems-more teachers (raise taxes) and on and on….
David Plouffe’s letter above is both pathetic and hilarious. Pathetic… while some of the comments made about Obama may have been scathing - none of them were lies. Obama is THE most unqualified candidate to run for President in the memory of most living Americans, possibly ever. While his community work is laudable - it in no way prepares him for executive responsibilities. He has no qualifying experience and has done nothing. Hilarious… “We’ll show those republicans what we can do - send us more money?!?.” They are just terrified that Obama’s supporters and others who support him will finally open their eyes and see the truth about the man.
All I have to say to this candy A$$ whining is get a life ,Hay Barry OOOOOOOOOOOO,u in the big show now, act like a man,I will put my money on hotty from Alaska in a one on one game of hoops anyday agaist the self proclaimed messiah anyday
Obama attacked McCain during his speech and the McCain didn’t bat an eye. McCain actaly congratulated Obama after the DNC. So can the Obama camp stop the winning??
Typical Buntch Cry Babies when they get there asses handed to them in front of 30+ million people watching the RNC.
Well, the OHB-JB team will have to learn to eat crow. Not so for McCain-Palin.
They are right on target and qualified leaders in taking America in the right directions. Do Dems own right to spew whatever they want (which includes hate,
victimization, you name it)??
The Republicans are telling it like it is. We need a prosperous econonmy that is not based upon staying a victim.
Democrat flumux is whining once again and trying to spread it. Don’t be swamped with BS and grandiose speech. It is action and qualification that’s needed. Walk the talk.
No one puts down community helpers. That’s what it’s all about. But if one has more experience and qualification to job, that’s the person or persons for the job.
You want what? My hard earned $5 for Socialist regime to be?? I don’t think so.
I’ll give it to the Salvation Army and really help someone out. An ordinary American and person am I who wants the middle-class to survive for they are the backbone of America needed by business and program to help.
Where is this OHB campaign manager coming from ~ self interest it so goes.
Sounds like he is getting very desperate.
Sounds like Obama is getting desperate.
Where’s the meat. What did Obama accomplish? He weedled his way into ‘machine politics’. He used the situation to amass his own fortune and career. He got the ‘million dollar house’. What did the people he supposedly helped get. We are finding out what his buddy Vesco got. Give me a break. This guy is just out for himself. He just jumped on the ole liberal line. He flips and flops like all the Democrats. He’s just the real black version of Slick Willy, our first ‘Black President’. Charmers. No substance. Bill and Hillary will have the last laugh. She already has plans after his defeat.
She must have hit a nerve, eh.
David,
Let me make it clear that as a community organizer Barrack Obama has done nothing of any magnitude. He cleaned up a park, and tried to get asbestos out of a housing project, but failed. As a community organizer Barack Obama did one thing and one thing only, bolstered his thin political resume! Governor Palin could have said as Mayor, part of my job was to listen to the concerns of community organizers and then act upon those concerns to get something done! Friend, you are the ones who mocked her experience as a Mayor of a small town. Friend, you are the ones that continue to point to the past and then make hollow promises about a better future! Friend, you are the ones who picked a 35 year political hack to be Vice President, not exactly the winds of change you promised to bring to Washington. Friend, you are the ones who claim to run the clean campaign, a campaign rooted in negativity at it’s very core. Friend, at what point does Barack Obama have to run on something other than what he is not? Friend, at what point does Barack Obama have to run on something, anything? Friend, at what point does Barack Obama have to stop running on his opponets record and run on his own? Friend, when will you stop with the fear mongering. You want to know something, friend, as a member of the middle class I can tell you with out a doubt that I am far better off than I was eight years ago!
Matt in NORCAL
PS; Keep your $5
It appears that the Dems need more money to promote their agenda of intolerance and hatred of anything good, decent and moral.
If you believe in God how can you support the teaching of evolution and not creation.
Evolution knows no right or wrong only legal and illegal.
Morals come from God. This explains why liberals have none to uphold.
Religion teaches us to be responsible for our actions which is why liberals are not and blame anyone but themselves.
Yes, I refuse to be silenced and will therefore vote for the McCain/Palin ticket to ensure that I am not silenced by liberals.
McCain/Palin 08
The best part of this letter was, pay me $5.
Wow, he kind of sounds like a minister begging for money. Obama/Biden SHOULD be afraid of the response to Sarah Palin—she is AWESOME!
You have to laugh at the response sent out by David Pouffe (Obama’s Campaign Manager) by asking for $5.00 donations along with his rebuttle. What does that tell you about their campaign? They are already trying to take money from the people of this country. That says it all to me.
Must be running scared. Truth Hurts!
Obama lost and now they are praying on ignorant people that believe whatever they say in order to get more money. If you want a great President ( and Vice President ) that REALLY cares about you and has been serving this country honorably for longer than B.O. has been alive, vote for McCain/Palin’08. They will make the right changes for ALL Americans.
I saw it quite differently, I watched the entire DNC and saw the same thing from the Obama Campaign towards the McCain, Campaign. Although I am a democrat as a whole, I was impressed with Sarah Palin, and believed that she needed to share what she shared, but look out from here on. I think that the democrats got a taste of their own techniques, and each party will reap what they sow. I think that we democrats see our hopes of winning dim significantly.
What I really would like to see is that each party and nominees, and media put aside the dirty poltics and let the nominees run a clean campaign on their own merits without dogging each other. You have to admit both sides do it to each other and I am a democrat that believes the bible, “as you sow so shall you reap.”
Phil
I think that is what we can expect of them if elected. When faced with adversity ask for more money.
Gimme money, Blah blah blah, Gimme money, Blah blah, blah. Just like Obama to think asking people for more and more money will fix their problems. Big government needs to go and he will grow the governments intrusion in our lives even more than it is now. There’s nothing wrong with community activism, in fact it’s great, but those words were in response to Obama’s crowd telling the world that she had no experience. When she has the only experience on either ticket at running a goverment. Obama, Biden and McCain have spent their careers inside the Washington Beltway being part of a group of Senators, Palin on the other hand has run a town and a state. No Mr. Obama I wont give you five dollars, If you get elected you’ll take all I have to take care of those who choose not to work or get educated. This country doesnt need more social progams or free handouts, we need leadership and hard working men and women who are too proud to take handouts and who will work tirelessly to earn their own way.
” you show them : “Send Me Money”

Do Not let B.O. put your family “under the Bus”
B.O., “I am the one I have been waiting for”
bIDEN, “B.O. is not qualified to be President”
pELOSI, “there will be NO vote in my Congress”
rEID, “The war is over’ We Lost”
dEAN, “Ye -haa” “I need racial unrest in America”
A child knows this is wrong. Put McCain / Palin in office, move America forward.
