You have GOT TO be kidding!!!! Women are not plug and play interchangeable parts. Has the world gone stark raving mad???
We are NOT stupid. There are REAL issues at stake. After 30 years I lost my Job to a movement off shore. It’s easier to pay someone in India 1/10 of what they paid me.
As a unemployed single mom the IRS does not see that as a hardship, so when I used my 401k to support myself I was penalized and now have a Huge tax bill.
I have done some independent contracts and health care is a huge issue. McCain’s tax rebate of $5,000 is ridiculous. An individual has no power with the insurance companies; power comes with huge groups like corporations.
There are serious issues at stake in this election and we are being played.

Tax breaks for companies that send our jobs off-shore??? Insane!!!. Tax rebate to competitively buy health care??? Ridiculous!!!!

Get a clue. One day this could be you!!

I don’t understand why there is so much emphasis being placed on having experience in foreign policy, etc. Neither Carter, Reagan, Clinton, or GW Bush had any experience nationally or internationally before being elected President. Carter had no such experience, but he was very instrumental in a, so far, still standing peace accord between Egypt and Israel. Reagan had no such experience, but he’s been credited with being very instrumental in ending the Cold War.

Sarah Palin was not my first choice, but as I begin to think about it, I like it. She doesn’t have Washington in her blood, I really like that. Lets not forget, Clinton didn’t have Washington in his blood either. He was in his 40s when elected President. She is in her 40s and is on the ticket as a VP. Obama can’t say anything about foreign policy, afterall, he just made his first trip to Iraq and Afghanistan recently.

The surge is working, I have first hand knowledge of that. Al Anbar was turned over to Iraq today. This war is working itself to an end. I just hope McCain wins so we can end it right.

Obama keeps complaining that the federal government isn’t working–aren’t he and his running mate part of the federal Government? Palin’s not.

Hey Clark! When is th last time you were in Alaska or ANWR for that matter? ANWR is 2000 acers. It is a microscopic speck and it has oil which is as natural as all the trees people like you are worried about. That’s right…the oil comes from the ground just like a tree!

And to your advertisement, “I think it is evermore important for us, as consumers to support ‘green businesses’ that benefit the environment. For example, http://www.simplestop.net stops your postal junk mail and benefits the environment.”

When are you people going to explain what green business is? Tell me how green business does one thing for the economy as opposed to the private sector oil companies ramping up drilling and thereby prioviding more jobs and helping improve the economy. Thus far people like you simply want tax dollars to fund your green utopia. If green is so viable lets see it fund itself without my tax dollars…Thank God for Sarah Palin!!!

I’ve lived in Alaska for 25 years.
Palin as a mayor of a small strip-mall town; no worries;
Palin as a governor; I’m very concerned;
Palin as a possible president: If you knew her, you could NOT sleep at night with her in charge.

She’s a simplistic, idealistic cheerleader. She got her first passport in 2007. She believes global warming isn’t caused by humans. She’s lying about the bridges to nowhere and she lied on local radio about the trooper scandal. This was a huge blunder by McCain!

Two years ago people were asking Obama who? And some still are. I like how his energy policy changed in May only from March (offshore drilling is okay now - or is it?) He must have got an earful in his travels.

So Palin is a relative unknown who has presumably changed her mind on the bridge to nowhere, a project that had little to no chance of ever being funded. Seems petty to even bring it up. I’m sure glad I’ve never changed my mind on anything - ever. Now I can run for VP.

And the State Trooper scandal, how many people have bothered to look into that ? Gee, CNN might consider doing a story about that hothead Trooper instead of just running a Palin scandea ticker on the bottom of the screen 24/7. I’ll bet public opinion does a 180 on that little subject if people are given the story and facts about it.

Palin’s environmental record under question? Since when has Big Environmental ever voted Republican?

Obama still may get my vote. He just needs to tell me if I’m in the Middle Class and therefore eligible for his $1000 MC bailout. My vote can be bought.
