I wouldn’t expect Pelosi to understand. If it is not her agenda the common excuse is I don’t understand. Here’s one for you I dont understand how she can just comment on a running mate when she doesnt even know her. If first impressions have any thing to do with it and we all know that they do Palin did just fine. For all of you others who think that either Obama or McCain is going to change this country where have you all been for the last 50 years. Everyone knows that the president has no power to change anything. If the congress or the house has not made strides of any kind to change our nation wake up and smell the coffee people. We all know that promisses to make change has always been a common thread that has attracted voters throughout the years. This campagin is no different just a different generation to vote. One can hope and needs too, but dont be aloof to the idea that a new president is going to give big change. It just aint going to happen!

Amazing to hear people try to compare Hillary or Obama’s experience to Sarah Palin. She presided over a 40 billion dollar energy infrastructure, in addition to 2 years as Governor of our largest state, and being a Mayor before that.

Hillary’s experience… traveling abroad with Sinbad, tea and crumpets in the White House courtyard with Benazir Bhutto, and, oh I forgot, dodging all those sniper bullets in Bosnia.

Obama’s experience… 178 days in the Senate, and serving on the board of directors with William Ayers, a convicted terrorist.

Okay, so Palin has more EXECUTIVE experience than Obama and Biden. Geez, how much EXECUTIVE experience does John McCain have? He’s been in a non-EXECUTIVE job since the ’80s. By this logic, Palin is the most qualified of the four of them.

Sara Palin was an active member of a fringe Alaskan policial party urging its right to secede from the United States

It has been reported by London’s Guardian that Sara Palin has been an active member of a political party that urges “Alaska First”, in contrast to John McCain’s slogan “country first.” Her allegiances may be to further Alaska’s interests above those of the United States. The Guardian article stated:

“Palin was a member of the Alaskan Independence party (AIP) before becoming an elected Republican official, according to party members, and recorded a video message for the AIP convention this year. The AIP’s chief goal is securing Alaska a vote on seceding from the US, a goal that party leaders believe the state was denied before it became part of the US almost 50 years ago.”

The AIP’s motto, “Alaska First, Alaska Always”, is the central theme of their platform.

Here is the goal of the Alaskan Independence Party:

“The Alaskan Independence Party’s goal is the vote we were entitled to in 1958, one choice from among the following four alternatives:

1) Remain a Territory.
2) Become a separate and Independent Nation.
3) Accept Commonwealth status.
4) Become a State.

The call for this vote is in furtherance of the dream of the Alaskan Independence Party’s founding father, Joe Vogler, which was for Alaskans to achieve independence under a minimal government, fully responsive to the people, promoting a peaceful and lawful means of resolving differences.”

How concided these Hillary voters are. For years I’ve heard that only if a woman was in charge this country would be a better place. The dems voted and they chose a man to run. The republicans have a man and he chose a woman to run with. Now you have a woman as you put it that could be a heartbeat away from becoming President, and its a huge problem? I peronally think that this was the right chose for John McCain, and America. Finally you don’t have someone who doesn’t owe Washington a thing and you question her as a mother, a wife. If the American people don’t give this woman a chance than they lose the right to say If only a woman was in charge.
