Women will not vote their beliefs, but for the woman underdog. All the blacks are voting for a black (Obama). Why can't all whites vote for a white (McCain)? Why can't all women vote for a woman? If the first isn't racist then how can the others be?

I'm a Demo who switched to Rep due to the treatment of Hillary and the "hands off the black man" attitude w/the media and the Demo Party. They make me sick!

I am not a strict conservative but I am elated to have the honor of voting for Sarah and John. You go girl!!!!!

Ecstatic former Hillary Backer!

McCains choice of Palin was to get the womens vote. Women who are proud of there country, tired of a male dominated politcal feild. If you think he did it for HRC voters, you deserve to be slapped in the face. He did it because she is a stronge voice, no stronge on actions when it comes to cleaning up politics.
If you where HRC voter, and you are posting that you can't vote for this woman you were going to vote for Obama anyway. You hear about people in lock step with there party, and don't vote on the issues.
Heres something to think about.
Obama is closer to Jimmy Carter on the issuses than he is to Bill Clinton. For those of us that remember that President those were not good times in America. I think worse than they are right now. So make your chioce but do your research, Carter was not the house builder, that he is now when he was President. His administration was considered a joke and it was a scary time for America.

McCain's pick is pure pander. He did not know anything about this woman and all her dysfunctional family and her dysfunctional politics. He saw a "lovely woman face" who protrayed the beauty queen look.
Wonder if she had been fat if even considered!!!

Have a blessed day

As a VERY SUCCESSFUL legal immigrant (and highly educated in one of the world's best institutions - Thank God for that) and a REPUBLICAN FOR LIFE, I am so proud that Barack Obama is about to set America on the right path. So terrifying traveling abroad and knowing I'll be disrespected because of the IRRESPONSIBLE policies of Bush, McCain and other republican crooks. Obama is always POSITIVE and HONEST, and that's PRECISELY what we NEED now. I know I'll get knocked by some fellow republicans, but MY VOTE goes to OBAMA!!!

I have to say that I don't necessarily like Hillary, but, her on the ticket would have been better than Biden. Hillary would have given Barry O the votes he needed to win. But, like every other decision, his first impression is the wrong one. A good phrase for Barry O(just trying to christianize his name since he won't) is "third time is the charm". He won't have 2 extra chances to get it right in White House, so I hope he works on his decision making. Barry O throw the "waffle iron" and the "flip-flops" in the trash. Take a Stand and stick with it. The message of change does not mix well with the pick of Biden (35 year veteran Senator of business as usual).
If he'd had picked HRC, he might have changed history. But picking Biden, he opted for the same old tax and spend liberal song and dance. What a shame.

Now, on the other hand, the "maverick" candidate opted to really think way out of the box, when he selected Governor Palin. An inexperienced yet energetic mother of five who can field dress a moose and still get dolled up and be Belle of the Ball. An average American can relate very well with Gov. Palin, who puts Life,God and Country before herself. I would not be surprised if she passes the test of the rigorous 60 day journey to election day that she not HRC will become the first female Vice President of the United States.

Its an exciting time in politics now. Minorities on both tickets. Diverse ideas and dedicated adversaries. just get out and vote.
