Hillary Weighs In on Palin
Hillary Clinton was supposed to be the groundbreaking woman in this race; instead, after an eventful convention, she’s relegated to the sidelines — while the almost universally unknown governor from Alaska makes a bid for the female voters aides said Clinton would garner in record numbers.
HRC issues a tepid statement — pro-diversity, anti-GOP. “We should all be proud of Governor Sarah Palin’s historic nomination, and I congratulate her and Senator McCain,” she says. “While their policies would take America in the wrong direction, Governor Palin will add an important new voice to the debate.”
Ex-Clinton Communications Director Howard Wolfson blogs that, with the Palin pick, “you are going to have a lot of women voters wondering why Senator Obama didn’t tap Senator Clinton as his running mate.”

Be real, Hillary is Old Washington now. She represented the most repressive potential for America that could happen. While some believe that Socialized medicine, government
life control from cradle to grave is Utopia, the truth is it is waste, ineptness, and unbearble
taxation.
I agree with those who think the higher brackets can pay a bit more, as long as we have the graduated tax. Most of the funding is used up in administration, while the poor however,
barely subsist no matter what government program is dreamed up.
Here is a great idea! The government pays every citizen a birth dividend for coming into this world unscathed by the liberals who have no regard for the miracle of life. It is collectable
at age 18. It is the amount of $100,000. And they abolish all government red tape. Instead
issuing a stipend to children of $12,000 a year from age 1-18, and the lump payment at 18.
Allowing families to administer for the minor as they are trusted to do by law. This requires
a simple treasury department payment direct to the qualifying person, who is allowed to have a bank account, by the way.
Abolish all agencies, buildings, overhead, and red tape. Trust parents to love their kids better than the state. And local government and relatives to see that things are handled properly.
A family with an extra 1,000 a month to feed and clothe and house it’s child for 17 years will
cost less than the myriads of programs and administrations now operating.
The child will look forward to it’s nest egg to go to school, or start a business. This is just too
much of a give away? Are you kidding? It will save the tax payers billions.
Hillary as Obama’s running mate? He’s scared of her! He wants to be president.
The “Empire of oBAMA” is crumbling quickly……….
I think Obama will regret not picking Clinton. Palin provides a fresh voice on the GOP side and mark my words, if the Obama camp attacks her too hard, they will get a harsh backlash from women voters.
Who do you think H. cLINTON, will cast her vote for? when she is in that booth by herself…
ok fox “news” McSame has chosen a no named enexperienced vp. so where is the harsh critism you leveled at obama. McThusalim is 73 and could drop dead at any moment, then your unknown hockey mom from alaska will be in charge. This woman is a token plain and simple. 8 is enough!!
Why didn’t O’Bama pick Hillary? A ‘no brainer…’, because with Hillary comes Bill, ans even to the Dems, he’s a huge liability…
Thomas Buckingham
Obama
OBiden
…Oh brother!
Good to see a Conservative pro-life, pro 2nd amendment, feisty woman on ticket-this should be fun.
YOU KNOW THE OLD SAYING…YOU SNOOZE .YOULOSE……….THIS APPLIES TO OBAMA……..HE MOST DEFINITELY SHOULD HAVE PICKED HILARY FOR HIS RUNNING MATE………..HE WILL LIVE TO REGRET THIS WHEN HE LOSES COME NOVEMBER………….
Women and cats will do as they please! and men and dogs need to get use to it.
Well….what else can she say….she has to be true to her party….yet I wonder if Bill is comforting her as he did some years ago when he told the American people……”I feel your pain” =)
BEST CHOICE, when the next opportunity for president comes along she is going to make by becoming the first female president. She is very well prepared, Mccain has my vote.
EXCELENT!
AND AXE OBAMA, AND HILLARY 2,
McCAIN SUGGED THIS ONE OUT OF THE PARK!
HOME RUN INDEED!
NICE COMEBACK FROM THE STADIUM TEED-IUM OF THE OBOMINABLE, OBAMATHON !!!
GO MCCAIN/PALIN 08 IS : THE FRONT RUNNER WIN PLACE AND SHOW!
MADMARV!
Well….what else can she say…..she has to still remain true to her party even if it does hurt……Hummmm….I wonder if President Bill is telling her what he told all of us some years ago….”I feel your pain”…..=)
Well, what else can she say. She has to remain true to her party even if it hurts. Hey Bill, you should comfort her like you did us, so many years ago when you said: “I feel your pain”.
I was reading the headline for a political article and something interesting jumped out at me.
n La n La n La n La Obama-Bi (n) (La) den That is some scary stuff! Do we really have a Major Party ticket running to Lead the Free World, whose names when placed together, look like Osama Bin Laden…….WOW!!!
The thought also occurred to me:
Obama-Biden = O.B. = Outta Bounds
McCain-Palin = M.P. = Military Police
You heard it here first!!
Hillary ran for president, not vice president. She can do more good as a senator on the floor proposing programs rather than sitting witnessing the senators with the only opportunity to have an affect when there is a need for a tie breaking vote. She is outstanding and knows what is needed in the country.
Are Republicans also so sickening when they tow the party line?
Good pick,
Strategically it makes sense.
Democrats made a mistake by allowing Obama to be Pres candidate, a more historic and winable combination would have been Hillary Prez and Obama VP. It would have ensureed a possible 16 year run. Obama picks up experience and runs for Pres later.
Instead Obama is confounded by a relative lack of experience. He has had to rely on Joe Biden to add the gravitas. Joe is a great candidate but, but never a future presidential prospect. So Obama had to play it safe. He could have been more daring in inviting Hillary to be his V.P.
While Obama can play Biden is my Mentor card, Cain can trump that with Palin is my ‘Protege’ card. After Palin can always say i’ve 8 years to learn to be the First woman President.
I’m not commenting on individual ability but rather on the strategic advantage the picks offer or rather don’t offer.
I was a Hillary supporter who would have voted for Obama IF he had chosen Hillary as his VP! However…from what I can tell…even consider her. BUT her speech the other night ALMOST had me willing to vote for him.
Now along comes John McCain…with whom I agree with on some things…and he picks a female GOVERNER as his VP.
I’ll tell you right now: McCain has my vote come November.
And I am not a Republican or a Democrat…I am an Independent who supported Hillary!
What is the story behind the ABC reporter being grabbed by the neck in Denver ‘for being on a ‘private sidewalk’? He was pursuing a report on ‘BIG’ lobby money meeting with democratic candidates & staff ??? He was pushed in the street, then grabbed by the neck and arrested for what??
WHEN THIS COMES OUT COMPLETLY- WE WILL HAVE A VERY DIFFERENT VIEW OF DEMOCRATIC PARTY OPEWRATIONS !! WAIT AND SEE…. ASK FOR ANSWERS…NOW.
The cLINTONS were staying at the hotel, that called, complained, and asked for the action……………. Who else was present?
For a “democratic” party there sure are a lot of ’secret’ things going on………..
Lets find out before it’s too late.
I believe that Obama will look back and ask why he didnt choose Clinton as his VP. In the long run Clinton will benifit by winning the democratic nod in 2012. Obama will not win this election and deep down, thats what Clinton wants.
Sen Obama made a big mistake by not selecting Sen Clinton as a running mate. As for Gov Sarah Palin, it seems no one knew anything about her and yet are condeming her for not being qulified. Did Sen Obama take on big oil? Did Sen Obama run a state governement, how about a state budget? Did he manage an administration? Has Sen Obama ever rejected earmarks? There is a difference between the experience of Sen Obama and Gov Palin. How can anyone say Sarah Palin is not qualified to be VP and Sen Obama is quaqlified to be President? Is Sen Obama qualified to be President without the experience of Sen Biden?
Obama could not choose Hillary because the Democratic party did not want this.
And, she would have overshadowed him. And, it’s bye-bye to reminders of Willy and his escapades.
Hillary does and why should she not, endorse women for what would she represent to any woman or man if she did not. Of course, she does not endorse the qualified Sarah Heath Palin as her choice for VP because Hillary is married to the Democrat party and her loyalty binds her.
I’m pretty sure Hillary must be in awe and truly amazed. Sarah did not have to “stand by her man” for any rewards.
The rough part for Hillary is that in “standing by her man”, she was not rewarded enough in her opinion.
Don’t believe Hillary could have made it on her own.
Am so proud and thrilled that Sarah did and has.
Go Sarah go!
The only ones who can take us in the wrong directions is a hostile media and the liberal Democrats.
So, on with the show.
No to Socialist government. Yes to capitalism and McCain and Palin!!
Going to be a mixed bag when it comes to women and/or men when it comes to voting for a woman or one of mixed race or even age although it should not matter.
Such is life and our own little perspectives and that of being.
Sarah did not need the Village; she has one of her own. God Bless Sarah, McCain, and America.
Sarah Plain’s selection is gift by McCain to President Obama. McCain will lose by the biggest margin in the history.
McCain to Obama: Checkmate
Gee - show your partisanship much? I’m not sure why HRCs statement is tepid…it was short and correct and to the point. What else would you have her say? I think Palin is the perfect GOP woman candidate, for 1992. Sadly, the far right conservative ship has already had its day in the sun and now has overstayed its welcome. The last thing this country needs is another big oil republican that doesn’t believe in evolution. Hillery may have regulated herself to the sidelines before, but I suspect having a woman who doesn’t share any of be closer to the white house than her will fire up the Clinton’s to support Obama in a way that they never would have before. Given how formidable they can be campaining, tha
This selection of a VP with virtually no experience, shows enormous lack of judgement by McCain. It will put Obama in the White House.
As a Hillary Democrat, I did not want to see Hillary degrade herself by being associated with BO. Remember, this guy was voting present just 4 years ago in the Illinois state legislature. And, he had to select Joe Biden to try to cover up his complete lack of experience in foreign policy/national security arena. The thing in the stadium was a joke as was his media tour overseas with cameras and reporters in tow. As a Hillary Democrat, I support John and Sarah enthusiastically.
Gee, show your partisanship much? I’m not sure why HRCs statement is tepid…it was short and correct and to the point. What else would you have her say? Given how formidable they can be campaigning, that alone may make this a poor VP choice.
Obama obviously screwed up big time by not selecting Sen. Clinton as VP. More so — the DNC and media did a disservice to all Democrats by “fixing” the nomination for Obama.
If we can’t have Hillary as President — we can at least have Palin as VP. We know more about Palin in the short time she has been in the public eye than we know about Obama over the last 18 months. Palin has also accomplished a lot in the short term as Governor of Alaska.
The Republicans #2, unlike the Democrat #1, actually cites accomplishments.
What a screwball Hillary Clinton is. Why should “we all be proud” that McCain nominated the governor of Alaska as his runningmate? Just because she’s a woman? What difference does THAT make? She’s another conservative who wants to “drill, drill, drill,” is she not? But that’s meaningless to crazy Hillary and her female fanbase. All that matters to them is that we now have another woman on the ticket. Hey, at least it isn’t Lady MacBeth, herself. Thank goodness for small favors. So, McCain has countered Obama’s appeal to minorities by balancing his ticket with a conservative female VP. He’s obviously appealing to conservatives AND to women (the Clinton vote), many of whom were going to vote for McCain anyway because Obama dared to defeat their ruthless leader. This election is a circus, thanks in large part to Hillary. She’s hoping McCain will win so she can save the day in four years. We might as well bring back Nixon from the great beyond. Hillary is worse.
The demos are toast on this one. McCain is a genius. How could the demos trash their chance to take the presidency on 2008? Amazing.
A 44-year-old woman running with a 76 -year-old man in the White House does not bring comfort to us that she might have to do the job of a Commander in Chief when we are at war on two fronts. The Alaskan Wilderness does not even come close to the Taliban and Al’ Quida’s wrath. Sarah Palin is not qualified for the job. Mr. McCain has taken a big gamble to try to grab the women’s vote from Hillary, forgetting that Hillary and Palin are at two different levels of maturity. I will not vote for them nor will anyone in my family.
Who’s Hillary?
This has got to be the biggest “SHAME ON YOU, OBAMA” delivered by the GOP (of all people) on the sexist Obama camp. What a historic role reversal between the GOP and the DNC!
You can tell that Hillary is upset that she is no longer the woman of interest.
If Palin wins….she’ll be the first woman of everything.
And maybe even Pres after that.
To “Privat sidewalk ?”,
The Private Sidewalk debacle has very little to do with the Democratic Party, and more to do with cops. Get a grip.
I love all these Republican bloggers pretending to be Hillary supporters now voting for McCain. If you were a true Hillary supporter like I was, you would never vote Republican. The right wing is so sad. It is nice that McCain has been forced to pick a woman on his ticket so this election will be historic, no matter who wins. But we all know that’s going to be Obama. As much as the Fox News Watching crowd doesn’t want to admit it…
I would suggest to Howard Wolfson that Obama’s selection of Biden over Clinton was based primarily on Biden being the best complement for him. Either Biden or Clinton have the experience and temperament to assume the presidency, if required, but Clinton is stronger on domestic issues than foreign policy. Obama is adding an advisor in the area most able to strengthen the team, and therefore best for the nation. Also, Biden and Obama obviously work together very smoothly.
As to what Hillary supporters should do, including the millions of men who admire her, such as me: I ultimately vote the issues. Politics is not a playground spat. We have to be grownups and support the policy proposals that we believe are best for our nation. All of the women I know who supported Clinton are now supporting Obama. Governor Palin does not share our policy goals, and her selection will not bring our votes to McCain.
You should vote for the person who best represents the principals you believe in.
If you vote for someone who clearly states they’ll work for nearly opposite principals, and has a track record of doing so, just because of ethnicity or gender, you’re a fool.
In my opinion McCains VP choice is a cynical and transparent attempt to steal the thunder from Obama’s speach and the Demoncratic convention. I believe it is not so much a bid for Hilarie’s supporter’s, nor the woman’s vote, but an attempt to pre-empt the boost in the polls Obama was sure to realize, except for this “news.”
It sure colours my opinion of McCain’s judgement. Are we to believe that Palin ir ready to be president if needed? Can we beliveve she was chosen for her ability, or merit? Or was she selected because she is a female?
Please, don’t even try to “accuse” me of being an Obama supporter, or a partisan democrat. I never voted for Clinton, and have been “independent” (unenroled” voter all of my life.
I wonder how many women will be fooled by this ploy, hardly better than a dirty trick. Issues that directly affect women are NOT the sex of the VP, but economics. In busness, and professions, women want to be judged on their performance, and not treated differently by their gender. Women want to break the glass ceiling based on merit, and compete on an even playing field, not get “empty” positions with lofty titles as a meaningless attempt at affirmative action.
Please, give us a break!
This is a very irresponsible, ignorant choice. It is obvious that the Republicans selected this woman to try to attract Democratic Hillary supporters. They just don’t get it. We don’t want just any woman, we wanted Hillary Clinton because of her intelligence, education, experience, and Democratic policies. We didn’t just want her because she was a woman. How insulting can you get? Hillary Clinton was qualified to be President of the US. This woman, clearly is not qualified. This shows major lack of judgement on McCain’s part. Hillary supporters are Democratic supporters. Anyone thinking of leaving the party to vote for McCain because of their disappointmewnt over Hillary, definitely will change their minds now, and vote Democratic. This country is in a terrible mess, and we need change that we can count on, be secure in, and hope to lead the world again. This shows the world how very superficial politics can be with the Republican party. A Presidential election is not a game, but should be taken seriously. After seeing this decision, Republicans really need to review and reconsider the wisdom of remaining a Republican. Obama is for sure, now the only answer.
Choice of Palin is an insult to women. She’s the Harriet Miers of VP selections.
Please Hillary don’t lower yourself to Obama’s level. I heard Palin’s speech when she accepted the nomination for VP and I found it real moving. Hillary you are #1 on my list but I am also happy to put Palin’s name on it to. Like you, she sounded very sincere as to the love she has for this country. Obama was a #1 fool for not putting you on the ticket with him and sorry but I will not vote for him. Having heard Palin, I now have two choices, one-vote for McCain, or two, put Hillary Clinton on the ballot and vote for her. I will be watching the Republican Convention like I watched the Democrate one and hopefully I will be able to make up my mind as which way to vote. I heard Obama’s speech but all I got from it were words just words. He said nothing to impress me to win my vote.
Why is it that no one pointed out that Barack used lines in his speech originally written for Michael Douglas in The American President. I believe that he used 3 different lines from the movie in his acceptance speech.
If Hillary don’t come out and tell her groupies all of the differences between herself and Sarah Palin, she’s making a huge blunder, if she don’t openly support Obama without reservation, “She’s Toast”, she will never have another chance, She will just go down in history as just another sore loser.
For all the commentators who question the GOP’s VP experience, think about the DEM presidential experience - see a problem with your thinking?
Wake up and get beyond the speaches - Obama is an empty suit with very questional associations
Wow. For the last week all we heard was about change, change, change. Yet, when the roll was called we have a Senator with “No experience”, who choses as a running mate, someone who has been in the Senate for 30yrs? That is change. Today we have a candidate who does not tow the party line, instead making his own choices. He chooses, a fresh face, a self made woman, who probably actually makes cookies for her kids unlike others who would have us believe so. Thumbs up for John McCain, true to his style, he went his own way. Here is to our next president John McCain.
Great Pick for McCain.. Im a Hillary Support.. I will for vote for McCain and Palin.. Obama.. just the same.. Pick a Men for VP.. Ohama..Plays in a Men World….. Not a Women World..
My vote is Palin.. the first Vice President
Looks like Palin is making buzz, which is what GOP needed. Also looks like the advantage that Dems SHOULD have had this election year is slowly, if not rapidly, evaporating.
The Dems are snatching defeat out of the clutches of certain victory.
Howard Wolfson
The answer to your question of why Obama could not pick HRC is 49% negatives.
Are you really so dumb or just mean?
Some of you Clintonistas really dont get it at all, or then again, you do, and you are still hoping Obama loses so you can get back in the saddle again.
Its not really a question, you know. Its about you, Howard.
John McCain had a SENIOR MOMENT when he picked an unknown, untested, unqualified woman for the second most important job in America. He needs more naps.
Kevin Williamson sounds like he is proud of having been conned by HRC
Wake up Kevin and think back in history
ho my god!!! are you for real ! fox news is the worst campain worker of the mccain camp camp have.you guys are fair and balenced, nope i dont think so i hate your station and would not wash it unless i am extremly board and need to lagh my a@$ off. now i have more reson to vote for obama.
joey lopez
mcallen texas
Whomever he picks, he’s still Elmer Fudd.
“Obama should have picked HRC for VP post. ” This is going to clearly take some of the 18 million female voters toward McCain-Palin way. My wife was sadden not to see HRC on the ticket for VP. Now with this selection of Gov. Sarah Palin, it is clear to ask yourself; “do you want a president or vice president with senatorial Washington experience or a president or vice-president with a few good years of political experience?. My vote is a president with Washington experience and a vice-president with enough experience to perform and carry the duties given to a VP and be prepared for the office. When was the last VP to fill in the position and many years ago was that? President Ford
However, I see this VP-nominee Gov. Palin if elected, that she will be known as Co-President with the No-bull approach she is known for. Besides, there should be a male and a Female leader in every household, even the White House.
I was going to vote for Obama but now I will vote for McCain. I don’t like the way Hillary Clinton was treated and I have other 50 year old women friends that feel the same way!
Wow. What is JSM thinking.
What a lightweight.
I understand trying to pull some of CLinton’s disaffected supporters but…
This is not going to work
Lotta wishful thinking on this thread. Obama gives a speech even Pat Buchanan calls brilliant, to a packed football stadium. McCain follows it up with a bizarre VP pick and the prospect of having hurricane Gustav washing over the gulf coast during the Republican convention. Can things get any worse for the McCain campaign? Time to break out the green background for the convention.
What John McCain has done is pure genius. I was all for Romney to be the VP, since I believe that McCain needed a conservative to balance out his ticket.
Well, he got something much better: a conservative FEMALE! The Dems must be serious shock at the moment. However, for all of you who think that Obama should have chosen Hil, think again. Hilary never wanted to be the number two man (and yes, I mean man). She sees Obama as an annoying bump in the road to her presidency. She would never have taken any orders from him whatsoever. So, he had to pick the plagiarism loving Biden. Hilary is probably laughing, thinking, “didn’t they see this one coming”?
i will report to the other news networks you are not posting honest comments. you are not allowing the american people chose by knowlidg
Admit it, Obama was caught flat-footed with Palin as McCain’s vp pick, and didn’t know how to respond. McCain is smart and succeeds in upstaging Obama, given that Palin has all the elements that Obama claims to have (ie. not from Washington; agent of change; shattering glass ceiling for women). And Obama can say nothing to Palin’s lack of experience, given that he’s more of the same. Obama can take whatever black votes he wants, but Palin is going to get the women votes.
This simply will not work/
She has the voice of a harpie.

Who’s Hillary?”
YOUR MOM!
Great for McCain!!! I was not going to vote for him but since he chose such a good running mate, I have changed my mind. I listened to the Democratic Convention speakers and was left wanting something more. I was undecided and wasn’t ready to support either candidate until I heard who their running mates were and what they had to say. I like Biden but was left unsatisfied after the Convention. Lack of experience was never an issue with me, but some of Obama’s statements really bothered me. He says he believes in the US, but he does not consider the President as his President. How can you believe that someone who supposdly wants to be President and wants the respect that the position rightfully deserves but still claims that Bush is not his President? His remarks on this really offended me. I have not agreed to everything Bush has done, and no, I am not better off, but he is still our President and deserves the respect that the office carries. I didnot like his sarcastic and arrogant remarks in his acceptance speech and that tainted my opinion of him. I was more than willing to listen to his views and take into account what he wanted to do, but he soured it for me by his callus disregard of his opponent. I hope McCain shows greater rspect for his opponent.
Initially I was dumbfounded. Who is this Governor from Alaska?
Then it occurred to me why we typically elect Governors over Legislators. Governors are executives that have a record of accomplishing things (or not). Everything that goes on in their state becomes an example of their effectiveness of governing. Legislators are legal staff. They don’t have to do anything. They can sit around and talk - sometimes not even show up. Their record is always the things that they talk about. Once in a while a bill that they propose. It’s all talk.
With Sarah - we have a VP candidate with more execuitve experience than the Democratic Presidential candidate and VP candidate combined. Perhaps she is week on the Washinton insider circuit - But that’s what Barach has been praising for the past year.
I think it was probably the most intelligent thing I have seen John McCain do.
“unknown, untested, unqualified” Passovoy, you really want to use that argument when you look at Obama’s background as community organizer and 2 years in the senate doing nothing?
Women who gor from Hilary to McCain are being ignorant sluts
Palin has no experience . She is a 1st term senator who is in charge of Alaska which gets alot of federal funding. She has not finished her first term. She knows enough about balancing budgets as I know about balancing my checkbook. Now I ask, let say she has to answer that phone at 3 am. Do you actually think she is qualified? Do you see her standing up to Russia and other enemies of this country? Do you see her relating to our issues? I don’t. Aren’t we also at war?
dumb jean, very dumb
To all the Hillary supporters who now are planning to vote for McCain, one question:
Why were you Hillary supporters? What policies of hers were you particularly in favor of? What was the primary reason that you believed she’d be the best qualified for the job?
I’m just curious, given that so many of her supporters don’t seem to know what her positions are.
Can you possibly tell me with a straight face McBush would have selected her based on her qualifications if she was a man???? Secondly, Hillary supporters are LIBERAL DEMOCRATS….they may vote for McBush for his experience, but not his or
Gov. Palin’s conservative leanings.
I can’t wait for Sen. Biden to debate Gov. Padin. anyone who said anything against Obama was accused of being racist, so I guess anyone who says anything against Gov. Padin will be sexist?
I think she will shake up politics in Washington, and congress is digging their heals in now!
And she does represent my principals, Cheaper energy, the right to own guns!
B.O. now wants “DO-OVERS”
glad you can think and type for yourself joey, good luck out there with your Jobama ticket.
Fact of the matter is that Obama can talk circles around all other three candidates. That’s great for show, and it will work on 1/2 the country. Fortunately, most of those folks don’t vote.
If it’s issues driven, Obama is as vanilla a candidate as you will come across. What liberal position does he NOT take? He’s not a cross over candidate, and his rhetoric is contingent on the direction that the wind blows. Politics as usual…not a change anyone should believe in.
Obama wasn’t smart enough to put Hillary on the ticket … period. He is a bitter, vindictive, idiot who let the primary campaign squabbles carry over. It shows just how poor his judgement is and displays a lack of character. Mr Biden seems like a decent person, but Hillary was clearly the stronger candidate for VP.
I’m excited. Great choice!
I believe we are seeing Dan Quayle in a pant-suit. A cynical choice by the Republicans looking to appeal to disgruntled Hillaryites.
I’m sure that most woman will feel rather patronized by the Republicans attempting to capitalize on their disenchantment.
Here is hoping that woman choose content over chromosomes.
This election will be a SAD chapter in the biography of biden…
Well, almost. I wonder why McCain didn’t tap Sen. Clinton. It’s pretty clear to me why Obama did not, just as Sen. Clinton would not have picked Obama. They both want first chair. I am wondering what makes Gov. Palin qualified to be leader of the free world in the event that McCain had to step down for some reason.
I don’t know who’s going to be president but I know we don’t need any more Bushism. This Country is going to hell in a hand basket really fast. We Americans just sit back and take what the politians dish out and go along with it. You need to stand up for yourself and the person who can’t stand up for themselves. Take your own inventory and clean up your own house. We’re so busy passing the buck and not taking responsibility for our own actions. I don’t care who’s in the white house, it’s up to us to take back our dignity and stop being selfish and greedy and worrying about who has the bigger house or car and educate our children so they will have a better place to live. This country is so disconnected from reality. We better get it together.
Well, if Bush hadn’t been the President for the last 8 years than these comments would surprise me, however I know that there are Americans who’s lack of intelligence is the cause for the skyrocket use of prescription medical drugs. The great thing about Barack Obama is that he will not discriminate against those that are mentally challenged. You will get help too. For those that were voting for hillary because she had a vajay-jay which is yet to be disputed because of how ofter Bill went looking for it elsewhere, the Americans that want to work hard to get America back to it’s glory actually better than before will prevail. We will prevail because if we don’t you can kiss this country goodbye. Now the socialist comments perplexes me. I for one would like to see a country where every single American can have a roof over their heads, food and clothing. Capitalism is nothing more than a pyramid scheme. Let’s look at corporate america. In the structure of Corporate America the only people that see any profit is the one’s on top, however they cannot get there without the little people on the bottom. The bigger your business grows the more leverage you can attain but you always have to have a profit quarter after quarter, year after year so you have to cut costs. The trade agreement that Clinton and Bush passed has sold America to India and China. How many people are tired of having an Indian representative help you from India when an American neighbor can do the same job. Your need for capitalism will bring this country down. The so called conservatives are closet freaks. They say one thing and do things in the closet we haven’t even begun to imagine. Without the little people capitalism will not survive. Learn to treat your fellow Americans with respect and stop bein
