Having served ten years in the military, and having essentially republican ideals, I am sad to say that the republican party in general, and the Bush government in particular have soured me from this party. A great party has been taken over by right-wing neocons and blow-hards, that are prepared to lie and spin to maintain power. People like Limbough, Henessey, O’Riley etc in the media, are moving the party into guttersnipes. McCain served his country well, but being captured by the enemy and tortured and brainwashed for several years does not qualify you to be a leader of a country. His turncoat supporter, Liebermann, is prepared to sacrifice all the nation’s people and treasure in support of Israel. A McCain/Liebermann ticket would virtually guarantee an extended stay in Iraq, and possible new wars in Iran and possible Russia. McCain will bring back the draft (which personally I am for) and continue to lead the country by fear, as Bush has for eight years. No-one in their right mind can say that the Bush presidency has been a good one, except for a few right-wing neocons, whose aim is to dominate the middle east because of the oil there. The republican party needs to re-group and bring hard working conservatives to the front, and get rid of the slimy liars that are currently controlling our party. Here’s hoping!

I do not believe its scare tactics but illumination. The mainstream media has failed to do their job so when an video comes out like this one, its an attack. People, there are countries that are just waiting for a Obama presidency to show their strength. McCain is the only choice!!!!

Just another Obama hater… coming from the Republican News Channel err Fox Spin Channel. Could FNC BE anymore a right wing hack of a media outlet? I don’t think it’s possible. If you look up Fair and Balanced in the dictionary, the antonym listed is Fox News. Seriously folks, I only read these articles for a good laugh and to check out what’s whistling through the minds of the right wing, elitist-I don’t know how many homes I own-geriatric crony pandering, drill every inch of the world nut jobs.

Hillary and Bill are solidly behind Barack, and so are all of her supporters. Your efforts to undermine the DNC are futile. Keep blogging away though, claiming to be a Hillary supporter for McSame. It isn’t working… people are smarter than the average Repug.

Connie, Don’t you search for your own facts. Look under Wikipedia! Ayers commited the crime when Obama was 8 years old. Now he is an up standing citizen in the community in which he and Obama both live. You just believe what you hear. It is smears and lies to cast doubt. You want to hear some about McCain? Find them yourself.

Sticking to the subject: This comment was to be about McCain’s Slam on Obama about Iran. Now Connie, read carefully. Slam means a mean remark. Again another McCain Lie. Do you want to vote for a man who LIES to get what he wants. Or do You want to Vote for one who tells the truth. One of Obamb’s first priorities once he is the President is to try to work things out with Iran. McCain is the one who thinks it is a tiny little country and will want to take us into war there as soon as he gets into power. Think it over. And please educate yourself.

Obama’s would-be policy of appeasement toward Iran is indeed reckless, and his stated view that Iran is not as serious of a threat to our security as the USSR during the cold war is idiotic. This isn’t a basketball game, there is no way to score the threat Iran poses, but we history tells us a lot. Sometimes a small country or seemingly unimportant events can trigger a much larger conflict.

Japan entered WWII after it lost access to middle eastern oil. If Iran follows through on it threat to close the Straight of Hormuz (through which 40% of the world’s oil passes) with its missiles in retaliation for not being allowed to pursue its nuclear ambitions, another World War– this time with China, N. Korea and India as nuclear armed players– is certainly a possibility. In which case Bush’s Iraq adventure might end up seeming like brilliant military strategy… just a thought.

I agree with a couple people here. This ad is just pathetic.

His word were COMPLETELY misconstrued. The phrase “compared to the Soviet Union” never makes it into that ad. It’s sad just how low McCain is willing to go.

Obama: COMPARED TO THE SOVIET UNION, Iran is tiny and doesn’t pose AS serious a threat.
McCain: What are you saying?! Iran does too pose a threat!
Obama: *stares at McCain in confusion*
