I can’t wait to hear Biden discuss McCain’s record on Iraq, veterans and neocon justice. I’ll be very glad when Karl Rove’s reign of greed and fear stops running this country.
That really must S.T.I.N.G. !
Biden — the perfect foil for Palin!
George/Dick - makeup for inexperience
Barrack/Joe - makeup for inexperience
…same old thing… where’s the change…
Obama = Hyperbole
Obama + Biden = Hyperbole on steroids!
Biden will be a great VP sidekick, has consistently shown good judgment in all his years of service in the Senate and brings a lot to the Obama campaign. Here’s hoping Foxnews’ bias against Democrats and persistent attempts to derail Obama get ignored by sensible Americans!
The Campaign Button……
OBAMA
BIDEN
Shouldn’t that read
OBAMA BI(N LA) DEN
Obama really make “change” happens. Joe Biden changed his family name”Obama” to” American”. Obama changed Joe Biden from’ not interested in the vice presidency” to accept
the “storybook man” to rub shoulders with him. Isn’t Joe Biden also very old comparing with
McCain ?? He already forget Obama’s name. What happen to Joe Biden’s history of voting for Iraq war ? Let’s all change for Obama— get a senior moment and forget about this 36 years’ veteran politian numerous public comments !! We doubt what the biggest “change” can happen for America’s future.
I think the democrats have it backwards it should Biden - Obama
Barak Obama has sealed his doom with the selection of Joe Biden. Joe Biden is a fine man, and I like him a lot, but he is not Hillary Clinton. The fact of the matter is Obama cannot win without Hillary Clinton, and you might as well call the election now, in my opinion. I would have been behind Obama early on, even if Hillary lost. Then the Jeremiah Wright issue came to the forefront, and I cannot support this man. If he had picked my candidate, Hillary Clinton, I might have support for him. I voted Democrat in 2000, and 2004. Now I’ll be voting for Senator McCain. It’s not an animosity vote, Barrack Obama lacks many of the qualities required to become President. I agree more with John McCain than Obama, despite McCain’s issues, he seems more trustworthy.
If this Obama dude doesn’t even know what his own preacher of 20 years says, how is he going to run our country?
The Democrats have it wrong. It should be Biden - Obama
obama has never had an original idea. figures he needs someone to show him how to be a president. maybe he shoud take classes in being American before trying to play prez.
I still haven’t received my official text from obama… I DID get my text message from Fox news though…. I guess I know who I can depend on =]
I think that picking Joe Biden as a running mate was a VERY poor choice.Joe Biden does NOT represent change, change would have been choosing a running mate that was a woman,a strong Hillary supporter,(if choosing a mate) someone like Gov.Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania,or Gov.Ted Strickland.Obama needed someone to help him win the states like West Virginia,Indiana,Kentucky,Ohio and Pennsylvania.I do not see Joe Biden helping him win any of these states. The delegate count as of now from the 2008 democratic primaries/caucuses is Sen.Obama-2206 delegates;Sen.Hillary Clinton-1906 delegates;and John Edwards comes in third with his 26 delegates,so I’m curious to know if Sen.Biden even won any delegates.I know he dropped out of the race in Jan.after doing so poorly in the Iowa caucus,I also know Hillary came in third in the Iowa caucus, behind Obama and Edwards, but she did not drop out,she fit like a pit bull all the way until she won in S.Dakota on the day of the very last primaries on June 3rd.All Sen.Biden does to this ticket is highlight Obama’s lack of foreign policy experience.Sen.Biden said in the past that he thought John McCain would have been a great running mate for John Kerry because McCain would help make this country better.Sen.Biden also said in one of the presidential debates that Obama was too in-experienced to be president.I think this is a losing ticket because Hillary had 18 million people who voted for her and we just find out she wasn’t even vetted for VP.I was one of the 18 million who voted for Hillary, and after seeing the Rick Warren faith forum last week, and seeing Obama choosing Biden over Hillary,I will definately be voting for John McCain in November.
Obama picking Joe Biden is like nickel-plating a penny.
SPARE CHANGE.

Thanks for giving me a day off in November Obama! I just donated another $100 to help Hillary clear her debt that you caused her to have.
Had you picked Hillary, my donation would have gone to your Campaign.
Now, Didn’t you condem Hillary for Voting For The Iraq War? Didn’t you you Condem Hillary for being “Old Washington? Didn’t you Condem Hillary because she is old?
But, you picked Biden????? He is evrything you Condimbed Hillary for being.
Only difference is that Hillary is a Woman!
Mr Obama, why is it that your male camp workers get paid more than your Women camp workers?
Mr Obama, your choice of VP in my eyes is just another Flip Flop. Flip Flopping is the only Experience you have to date!
Mr Obama, how much have the Republicans padded in your pocket to help McCain win? They got their money’s worth! Job well done Mr. Obama. McCain presidency is now in the bag!
OBama and OBiden…I thought OBama was the candidate for CHANGE. OBiden is all about the old ways, old school, and old politics.
Biden is a genius pick…but then Obama is a genius!
Way to go….great ticket!
I recall Obama saying that Senator Clinton would be on anyone’s short list for VP. How is it that she didn’t make his short or long list? If Obama loses he can thank his advisors and his wife for not even considering Hillary. Seems to me 18 million voted for Senator Clinton and Joe Biden received a few hundred thousand votes. Wow…his arrogance is over the top.
Obama did a better job picking his VP than he did picking his Pastor and church of 20 yrs.
I just hope Biden isn’t a follower of James Cone as well.

In a recent Utah Herald News article, Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin likened himself to America’s sixteenth president, Abraham Lincoln, and the Constitution Party to the nascent Republicans of the 1850s.
“Sooner or later, an independent party, a third party, is going to break into the national limelight and is going to take that spotlight off the Republican Party and elect a president of the United States,” Baldwin said. “I would like to think it’s gonna be 2008, and I would like to think that I’m the Abraham Lincoln of this generation.”
Vote for Chuck Baldwin 2008!!!
For Obama a sure ticket and brave choice would have been Hillary. Choosing Joe Biden shows weekness.
Biden has no credibility. He said just last year he would never be anyone’s VP, and here we are today. His word doesnt matter.
Oh MY GOD! i was leading to Barack then listened to McCain and liked him but when you put my favorite Senator in the whole world on the ticket I knew I was Voting Biden. I have loved Biden since I was a teenager he says whats on his mind and has no fear. People need someone not afraid to speak! and Listen!
well i am sorry but obama just lost my vote for this year he put the worry v.p .
I think sould have used hillary clinton for v.p so thats he not geting my vote .
and i hope he does not win
bruce the batman””’
The 3 a.m. text message tweak on the nose of all Hillary supporters that their candidate has been passed by for the veep slot took a certain amount of bravado and guts. Is the time a coincidence? I think not. I am a mildly mortified but raise my glass to Obama for such a bold “in your face.”
And this is news? It was great that Sen. Obama, who said he would make his announcement when the nation was awake, released the info at 3am. GUESS HE WAS THINKING ABOUT GERMANY- they are 6 hours ahead of us so they got the news at 9am. Sen. Obama has the right to select whomever he wants to and now we await Sen. McCain’s selection. There will be whiners and complainers no matter who each of these candidates select.
Repeal the tax breaks - vote democrate
Repeal the tax breaks - vote Democrate
I find it very interesting that Obama complained about McCain being in Washington all these years and nothing has changed. What makes him think that Big Mouth Biden who has been in Washington all these years is going to change things. Biden has also stated that Obama is not ready to run the country. This just shows how unqualified Obama is. I put my money on McCain.
I believe that choosing Joe Bidin was a bad choice because he makes Obama look weak. Bidin has about 30 years of experience over Obama. I watched the two of them speak today about how they are going to make a so called “change” in America. All I heard was a bunch of blah blahsand mumbo jumbo because they both just gave a biography. How is Bidin change??? How is Obama going to make a change??? I never heard them say how they were going to make a change. I don’t understand how people keep soaking in everything Obama is saying, when he is really not saying anything. They both criticised Mccain on his policies, but they never brought up their own. How are they going to help the economy? How are they going to help the under dog? Give me a break…it’s all a big show! Thats all Obama is..he’s just picture book without the words.
Good choice Obama. You both will work for the issues that th people of America face. McBush will now retire and receive his ssSocial Security, this way he can spend time in his 8 houses. Obama/ Biden 08
To all the Clinton supporters who insist that they won’t be supporting Obama, especially with this VP pick. John McCain is diammetrically opposed to Hillary Clinton on all the issues that defined her candidacy. Clinton supports the rights of women to choose to have an abortion if they feel that it is necessary. Obama supports her position all the way. Biden supports her position all the way. And John McCain? He supports a ban on almost all types of abortion. Clinton supports the expansion of access to the healthcare system. Obama’s position is almost exactly the same. As is Biden’s. And John McCain? He favours scaling the healthcare system down.
If this election means so little to you that you’d vote for someone who is opposed to everything Hillary Clinton stands for, be my guest. But what I know is this: I was a Clinton supporter too, but I actually think my vote counts for something. I’d rather NOT demean Clinton by suggesting that the only reason anyone voted for her was because she was a woman. She is worth more than that. This election is worth more than that. So I’m going to use my vote to support a candidate who matches my views on the issues that matter - Barack Obama.
And when it comes to Joe Biden, let’s get some facts straight: Biden was the author of the Violence Against Women Act, described as “the greatest breakthrough in civil rights for women in nearly two decades”. So don’t tell me that he’s just another chauvinistic old white man. He’s been a magnificent champion for women’s rights.
Biden couldn’t even get the votes when he ran for President, what makes Obama think he can bring in the votes in November?
We never did get the text message from the Obama campain…..
I think McCain’s advertising crew are dancing with delight, trying to figure out just what clips to make hay out of first. If today’s blunders are any indication, I think they will lack for nothing!!
Wonder if Obama will send Biden to do his debates with McCain as he couldn’t hold his own with Clinton and Biden has already said Obama is not ready for the presidency, so who will debate? Man what a team, cry baby always whining about being picked on and I have to steal others speeches cause I can’t write my own, great choices.
I decided I wasn’t going to vote for Obama on May 31, when the DNC literally stole delegates from Hillary and gave them to Obama, but this would have done it for me if that didn’t.
Like a previous post mentioned, Obama attacked Hillary during the primaries for supporting the invasion of Iraq (although her subsequent record of vigorously opposing the war didn’t seem to matter) and for representing “politics as usual.”
So why is Joe Biden, who also voted for the invasion and who has been a Senator for the past 35 years, okay now? This is ridiculous. Obama appears to be TRYING to anger Clinton supporters like myself, and he’s gonna regret that in November. Because, come Election Day, I’m gonna vote for John McCain, because at least he has a record — which is more than I can say for Obama.
And that leads to another thing. Having Joe Biden on the ticket isn’t gonna assauge people’s concerns over Obama’s inexperience. There is only one Commander-in-Chief. In November, it’s gonna be John McCain vs. Barack Obama, not John McCain vs. Barack Obama (but Joe Biden when it comes to foreign policy).
Biden has so much in his background which will now become a primary target for the repubs…I just hope they do not lose track of the primary issues….what Obama stands for…Obama’s poor judgements, Obama’s associations, Obama’s false representations of “change”….and Obama’s socialistic view of the USA. Least we forget his 20 years of relationship with un-american, anti-americans (Ayers) farrahkahn…and others of black power nationalism. Obama is the focus of the issues….he may have picked Bidan to now divert the attack against himself …..in reality by picking an aggressive individual who has not problem speaking as he feels Biden will get alot of attention…he represents a further departure from the theme Obama relates….”change” and hope…Biden is a washington insider whom Obama wanted no part of in the past……….Obama just reflects himself as a standard politician who uses the motto of “change” to fool all those around him.
McCain - go bold - pick Lieberman or pick Hillary. Tell Hillary that you want to work across the aisle. In fact, Hillary was know for doing just that - and the Dems used to get mad at her. By the way, I heard Pelosi owns lots of property too. So what’s the beef? It’s still a country that allows people to achieve success! ..unless of course if you are BO supporters, you only want that for YOUR candidate, who did it through unethical means.
I think Senator Obama’s choice is Ecellent! I think McCain should pick Bonzo the chip, they compliment each other.
I have 2 issues with the choice that Mr. Obama made in choosing Biden. First issue…how stupid does Obama think the Catholic’s and Christian’s of the U.S. are? Oh yeah, his choice is very calculated and deliberate. As a Catholic, I simply can’t vote for an individual who RESPECTS LIFE SO LITTLE that he’d side with a pro-abortion candidate. Biden may call himsefl a Catholic, but when the Church demands that we follow God’s law and respect life, how can he (Biden) call himself a Catholic…shame on him, he can even consider himself a Christian. It’s funny how these canidates want to separate state and church, yet they go seeking the Catholic vote!!!
Second issue…Obama stated in one of his speeches that he wouldn’t rely on anyone to make his choices, but since he knows very little about international stategies, seems he lied (again) and chose someone (Biden )who is one of the most ‘influential foreign policy voices’ in Congress. Shame on you again Obama…Liar!
Joe Biden threw his long time friend,John Mc Cain under the bus for political gain.Is this not the same man who said he would be honored to stand with McCain on a ticket and called Obama a freshman, inexperienced senator? Is this not the same man that plagerized a speech and had to resign in shame in his last presidential attempt?Good luck democrats,it dosen’t quite matter who Mc Cain picks.Honesty trumps egos every time.
I’m so glad that Obama did not pick Hillary. Anybody but Hillary is good with me. Yeah, Obama. Great choice. Obama will be just fine without Hillary on the ticket. You Hillary supporters that won’t vote for him will sure teach us Obama supporters a lesson. A lesson in what, I’m not sure but I’m sure that we’ll all be together up the creek without a paddle if McCain wins. At least we’ll all be wallowing together in our misery.
biden’s net worth is $100,000 - does not make me have much confidence in him that he has made excellent choices for himself
please, someone ask obama if he is going to have the christmas tree at the white house… his kids do not get christmas presents….
I have 3 family members who are Hilary’s supporter……..they are so upset & they dislike Obama so much they are all voting for McCain as a sign of Protest.
I also knew lot of people from work, my neighbors, friends who are also casting their votes for John because their Idol, Hilary lost the Primary.
Dont believe the polls you read in the news……the small no.of people being polled ( 500 or 900 ) does not represent the whole population of USA…..plus some people who are polled always lies anyway…….they never answer the truth.
Lot of Hilary’s supporters who are voting for McCain will make him win on election day !!!
Great choice Joe Biden while sometimes a rambler, is a genuine guy with foreign policy expierence. Republicans will try and throw dirt on Obama like they have thrown dirt on all democrats for countless years. John Mccain has not ever been middle class and is clueless on living check to check and struggling to fill your gas tanks. The toughest choices he has to make now a days are which house hes sleeping in. Voting Mccain is completly pointless because he has a better chance at getting the Suni/Shiite thing right then becoming president
Obama-Biden
08!
Fox post me once please…. I know you guys are Republicans but cut me some slack
Obama just sealed his fate ! We Hillary supporters will do whatever it takes to keep him out of the White House
SEEMS OBAMA FORGETS REALLY FAST….HE WINED ABOUT HIS WIFE BEING PICKED ON…..BIDEN SAID HE WOULD NOT BE VP……TWO FLIP FLOPPERS……GOOD PAIR
Iam a40 year old married father of 4 who is disgusted by the fact that I live in a state that is a automatically democratic!!!!!! c`mon ny are you kidding me???????give me a !@#$%^^& break already!!!!!!!! Dave Leonard ——–Smithtown NY
Obama-Biden 2008
The candidate who promises change selects the ultimate establishment insider for a running mate? Biden has been part of the problem for over 20 years. So the candidate of change is really just another politician. Anything to win. McCain is looking better and better.
Anybody who thinks Hillary is going to be a cheering section for Obama either doesn’t understand or has forgotten the extent of the Clinton’s ruthlessness. They may end up in control of the convention.
I voted for Clinton .. Im a Hillary Supporter.. I’m so upset at Obama Not taken the Hillary as Vice President.. How I see McClain’s 2008 and Clinton 2012
I think Obama made the biggest mistake in 2008 I would vote for him if Hillary was Vice President.. Not now.. I will vote the other way and wait to 2012 for Hillary to come back and be the first Women President…
I’m one of the 37 women in US feel this way..
jojo
Once more Obama makes a bad choice. Pastors, friends, VP’s. How can I vote for this guy. Everytime I want to support the brother, he gives me reason not to. Maybe I just don’t vote this year. Then I won’t have to regret what will probaly be a mistake. Show me the change!
barry’s first big decision…..and he picks a loud mouthed nut case like biden.
excuse me, but biden said obama doesn’t have the experience to be president, he voted against the first gulf war and for the second gulf war, he has no military experience….look up what howard dean said about military experience during the bush-kerry election….it contradicts the dems entire ticket.
biden does nothing but add fodder for the republicans.
why didn’t obama pick hillary…he could have come closer to winnig the elelction, or even richardson for the hispanic vote, or at least some of the hispanic vote.
bythe way, i’m glad to see that hispanics do not march in step based on a candidate’s ethinicity, unlike black americans, who can’t seem to see anything beyound the color of a persons skin.
obama and biden dont even seem to like each other..their not hanging out, their both going separate ways campaigning, there’s no continuity or solidarity on that ticket. there seems to be a disconnect between the two men. obama cant use biden as an attack dog because he ends up sticking his foot in his mouth.
i bet hillary is looking at 2012 and salivating right now. If she wins in 2012, she can purge the democratic party of the bad apples that did not stand with her in 2008. america doesn’t need them anyway.
i will go out on a limb and predict that obama will loose big in november. nota tight race at all. i’m going to go one step further and predict obama gets caught with his zipper down 2-3 years after the election and then gets put out to pasture. relegated to the same level as sharpton, young, jackson, etc,….the wannabe/hasbeens that have nothing significant to contribute.
unfortunately, black america will feel dissed, but a few of them will realize that obama was an attempt by the suits in the democratic party to take little drummer boy, dress him up and try to convince us that he’s Jesus Christ.
A veteran light-weight mentoring a young light-weight. It would make sense if they weren’t going up against hard-hitting McCain and whatever VP he picks to fill out his ticket. I’ve been really worried that if Obama gets elected that he will implement all of the carefully coded plans he championed in the primaries. Now, I’m pretty sure he will botch his own plans so badly that he won’t actually be capable to implementing his left of liberal ideas.
HILLARY CLINTON, We love you and will not forget. You would have been the best choise for President of OUR wonderful Country.
Our votes go to JOHN McCANN this time but, 2012 we will vote for you again.
PUMA, 10 MILLION votes.
Biden is the more qualified person to be president than Obama….it shows BIG TIME….particularly when they are next to each other….and he has more of a forceful personality than Obama. Although Biden will become the attack-dog he will continue to show Obama up both in his background and EXPERIENCE…..and the offfice of president is not one for on the job training.
