This article is meaningless. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Biden just returned safely from a 2-day trip to Georgia. Besides, Obama mentions McCain’s name more often during his speeches. Does that make McCain a VP pick, too?

Surprise, Obama’s VP pick appears to be a rich anglo-saxon protestant man. I think it’s pretty clear what Obama means when he talks about change, and it doesn’t go further than skin deep.

As a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia, I keep hoping Obama a selects Tim Kaine as his VP. He will do far less damage to Virginia as VP than he will do as Governor. Also, Webb would do less harm to the entire country as VP than he would do as a Senator.

I would actually be somewhat surprised, no matter who McCain picks. It’s going to have to be somebody with no future in politics, since being McCain’s runningmate is going to be even more toxic to the career than being a Republican (or a conservative, like the “Blue Dogs”).

It really wouldn’t surprise me if he picks Joe Lieberman, the guy who got kicked out of the Democratic party in 2006. This way, McCain gets to choose a far-far-far right schill, and at the same time can continue with his phony “bipartisan” theme. And it’s not like Joe’s career is going to improve- his constituency was already angry enough with him to dump him in the primary, and his support for the most epic failure of a president has only made them even more against him.

I’m an Obama supporter but would our leaders and politicians please stop pledging to send money to “rebuild” foreign countries (especially a country that brought this on itself). We were just in New Orleans and there are people still living in trailers in their front yards. It is a condition we should all be ashamed of when we can’t take care of Americans in the United States yet are more than willing to send money overseas.

This guy is so inclined to change that even after they tell him who it is going to be and nominate him he could change it.

What’s the point in all of the speculation? It doesn’t matter anyway. McCain’s going to win this thing.

If Obama goes with Biden, he just made my decision for me: as a male, gender-egalitarian, I can’t imagine a worse person for the “job” of VP then Biden and his VAWA. Obama won’t get my vote, and my vote will go to McCain if for nothing else then to try to keep Obama from office.

How do you report that Senator Obama spoke at the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention in Orlando today, braving Hurricane Fay’s wind and rain to talk about the war, the troops, and foreign policy? We know that Senator Obama was at the VFW convention in Orlando, but Tropical Storm Fay is not a Hurricane and never has been one, through today. I am selling a home in Orlando and have been on the phone with Orlando several times today. If Senator Obama BRAVED the wind and rain of a Hurricane, it was not in Orlando.

Sure there was some wind and some rain, but you make it sound like Senator Obama did something supernatural. All media should stick to the facts and not write “colorfull” comments, unless they are true. I do not know what to believe from the media?

I just prefer that Obama would elect Hillary Clinton as his VP, she is the one he needs in order to win. Hillary has the most power than any of the other candidates and Obama knows it. I will vote for Obama if he elects Hillary for VP, is he doesn’t than I have no choice but to vote for McCain. Will I be the only one to think like this? NO!!! No one has mentioned Caroline Kennedy as his VP choice. If he selects Sen. Biden it is because he needs an older statesman to give him ‘gravitas’(Andrea Mitchell’s favorite word). No matter who he selects we know that he and (if his running mate is another Senator) his running mate that they should both resign from the Senate to run. Sen. McCain should also resign. The American people deserve a Senate that is working for the people and not for the candidacy of some of it’s members.

RE: McCain Economic Energy Plan, Mealer Companies.

As a constituent of yours here in Arizona, yet across the political spectrum as a Republican leaning conservative, I must compliment you on the excellent job you have done governing Arizona. We will miss you when you retire from office this year.

I am writing this letter to inform you of the strength Senator McCain will be able to bring to the USA when he is elected president. Biden needs to close his mouth, Kathleen shouldn’t even be a governor, Bayh, Kaine, Richardson and Nunn should stay in the position they are in now. In fact, the only one that is the most experienced is Hillary because of the eight years as first lady and and as senator.
