Obama Accuses McCain of Same Old Republican Campaign Tactics
Fresh off his week long Hawaiian vacation, Barack Obama accused McCain of going negative by running a television ad that says an Obama election spells economic disaster. It’s a “same, old tired campaign” tactic Obama says Republicans have utilized “every four years for the last who knows how long.”
“They don’t have something positive to say about what they’re going to do for America. What they try to do is they say, ‘Well this other guy, he’s unpatriotic. Or, ‘This other guy, he likes French people.’ That’s what they said about Kerry. Or you know, they try to make it out like somehow Democrats aren’t tough enough or aren’t macho enough,” he said, recalling the 2004 campaign.
While the strategy has been effective in winning elections, Obama says it hasn’t helped the country’s woes. “That’s their strategy and they do it every four years and then you end up with what we’ve got right now. I have news for John McCain – my plan’s not gonna bring about economic disaster - we already have economic disaster from John McCain’s president George W. Bush, and we can’t afford another four years or eight years of George Bush policies, and that’s why we are gonna beat John McCain in this election to put America on a new path,” he said.
Just a few minutes later when Obama opened the floor open to questions, one of his own supporters turned downright negative when he ridiculed McCain’s service to the country in Vietnam, and made light of his time as a POW. “Now everything that he talks about is how much he suffered, he was the fattest prisoner that got off the plane,” the man said.
Before responding to the man’s concerns about the economy, Obama took a moment to denounce the man’s comments. Addressing the man, Obama said, “Respectfully I’m gonna disagree with you when it comes to McCain and his service. I think his policies are terrible, I think his service was honorable and I think he deserves respect for that,” Obama said.
“But, I think your general point about his policies though are absolutely right. I mean, look, John McCain wants to present himself as a maverick, right? He always says, ‘I’m a maverick, I’m a maverick, I’m a maverick.’ Let me tell you something, every single one of his top people are all lobbyists for the very special interests that have been dominating Washington all these years,” he continued, showing he’s still willing to put up a fight.

Obama is underestimated in terms of his courage and his strength. He fights to win, and he challenges himself in that effort because he wants to follow his moral conscience and fight clean too.
Now, if you are going to throw the kitchen sink including the butcher knives at him, well, he might have to respond even more aggressively than you. So watch out.
If McCain and the like think this is a Jimmy Carter of a John Kerry they are fighting, they are mistaken. If they think he is going to get into the gutter with McCain they are also mistaken.
It sound like Barack is finally beginning to get tougher, at least with the supporter who made the comment that McSame was the Fattest prisoner off the plane, that is…
No video of all the protesters outside?
Finally, Obama is fighting back! It’s going to be a dog-fight and glad to see Obama is starting to bring his A game and dispelling all the McCain propoganda.
What can I say..Obama ‘08
Rick Warren was interview on CNN a few minutes ago. Rick Sanchez got him to admit Ole man McCain was not in the building when he fake faith forum started last night. You see, Mac was in a motorcade - not the “cone of silence” Warren said he was in. So Warren lied and McCain had every opportunity via TV, blackberry of radio to hear every question Warren posed to Obama and EVERY OBAMA answers. What a bunch of horse-hit. I knew Mac was too relaxed– I KNEW HE HAD BEEN PREPPED– but out and out cheating?? Hell yeah, he knows he is dumb as sin and his presidential hopes were on the line- Not a maverick but a Sharleton snake oil salesman
YES WE CAN!
Liars Liars, pants on fire!!
The main stream media and especially CBS News, MSNBC, CNN, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and numerous other members of the Main Stream media have steadfastly refused to ask Obama any difficult questions leaving the American public in the dark regarding his true positions. Why is it that CBS thinks that Americans should make this very important decision without the benefit of the knowledge afforded by an objective, curious and honest press? It is ironic that it took not a reporter, but rather a pastor to finally ask those difficult question in a venue that afforded the American public a glimpse into Obama’s underlying values. It is disappointing that when those difficult questions were aired, they were above Obama’s pay grade. What a clear demonstration of lack of judgment! Thank you Pastor Warren. Clearly the stubborn attitude of CBS and many of the other members of the Mainstream media have proven that there remains a valid and major role for the Church in Politics! Thank you CBS, CNN, and MSNBC. You have firmly cemented the position of the Church as a valid venue for future presidential election debates.
That’s it, Barry. That “EVIL” McCain guy is ripping on you. I’d start screaming “RACIST!” right now if I were you. That’s your usual ploy.
Wow, a question on abortion, the Russian invasion, morality, etc. It is sad to think that Obama
was unprepared for such tough questions. He wasn’t aware of what was going to be asked,
shame on him and his team. Maybe he isn’t ready to lead.
Wow, go figure Rick Warren asked a question on abortion, he asked a question on Russia and many other questions that you would expect him to ask. If Obama was not prepared to handle
the questions from Rick Warren, do we really want him sitting across from the leaders of Russia or China. Experience counts!!!! Leadership is needed.
Fox News reports, we decide. Fair and balanced. Oh, and by the way, Bush’s press secretary admitted that the administration fed “talking points” to Fox News. So they don’t really need to do any fair and balanced journalism, just report the propaganda and let us sift through it. What a joke.
Obama got his rump roasted by McCain last night at the forum. Looks like Obama is getting a little angry because he sounds so inexperienced in debates and forums.
Repubs same old tactics???? HUH???? Talk about OLD regurgitated socialism is all Obhamas is…..along with RACIST, INTOLERANT, UNCARING, money mongers, elitist, keeping poors down for votes. It’s like the Demos have the projection psych 101 going on…..exactly what THEY are is what they accuse others.
Obhamas & Socialism regurgitation is VERY OLD & all about DEMS keeping dummies DOWN for VOTES. His religious-coated stuttering & stammering to Rick Warren was soooooooooooooo obvious bambooozle the one-cells.
Obama is using the same process throughout this election that he used while being a community organizer in Chicago He presents himself as the “facilitator” or “change agent”-but he never makes it clear how this dramatic change will occur or what the government will look like after the change. He knows what he wants it to look like but is aware many people would not support him (vote for) if he gave an honest disclosure. So deception is the rule with the Delphi/Alinsky strategy. Except this time it is on a grand scale [the whole United States vs. a neighborhood in Chicago]. The “organizing” only works when there a perceived problem in the system. So he spends most of his pointing out how bad things look in the United States and very little time explaining how his policies/ideologies could “fix” things. Then cries “dirty politics” when it pointed out the plans he does disclose are equated to scientific socialism (marxism) and/or world government.
I wonder if anybody in Berlin asked Obama what he thinks about UN Agenda 21. But they probably knew that he is a strong proponent or he would not have been there giving motivational speeches to 200,000 Europeans>
I pray that many of his supporters in the US [the ones who support him because they have been deceived] will wake up before it is too late!!!!
If President George W. Bush is “McCain’s president” as Senator Obama has been quoted as saying, I would like to know who is Senator Obama’s President. Does he have someone else he calls President? As far as I knew, when one is elected President, that person is elected “President of the United States of America” and love them or hate them, is the President to all U.S. Americans. I wonder how Senator Obama would feel if he was elected President and the service men and women in our military, for example, said that he was not their President. Is Senator Obama trying to imply that because Senator McCain is a republican, he agrees with everything President Bush does or says? If that is so, then Senator Obama must agree with everything Mayor Kilkpactrick of Detroit says and does.
Oh come on you (democratic) ‘paid’ mouths of spin, this had to make your brain ache!
“”trying to make him look unpatriotic and weak.”"
B.O. is ‘WEAK’ and quite possibly Not as patriotic as the ‘next guy’
*(see statements made by B.O. & wife)
A one-hour discussion of faith and related matters, in a church, and B.O. did not once mention his church and / or pastor of twenty years?? Politics or FEAR?
He would ask his wife, grandmother what to do, concerning National / Global policy?
Indicates that the USA ‘only thinks’ it ‘knows it’s own intentions’?
(meaning what - ?) some how the ‘one’ waiting for ‘himself’ thinks he intends otherwise?
Changes his mind on everything he has stated as his platform, day after day…
(note: changes / deletions to official web site) (speeches) (next week?)
“”Trying to make him look WEAK”" B.O. does this by himself…
I would like to thank John McCain for making my choice an easy one to vote against him. I thought McCain was smarter than President Bush, obiviously I was wrong! McCain continues to use the scare tactics as if we the American people are blind to Washington politics. I would rather have a unexperienced person elected than an experienced hot head. We have lost many young lives, there are other means of resolving world issues other than war.
The question of when life begins is “above” o’ payscale? As usual, o obfuscated and evaded. I suspect his poor performance Saturday night is going to tilt the electorate toward someone of substance, John McCain. We don’t need a man who is all fluff and glitz in the White House. Vote McCain in November and do America a big favor.

It amazes me how thin skinned senator Obama is.Both parties make false/twisted accusations about opposing candidates, why should this supprise anyone.as for issues,if senator Obama was serious about issues he would agree to the Lincoln/Douglas style debates. There is just too much media influence in our election process.$.02
Obama’s biggest weakness is his WEAKNESS! I am a registered Democrat and WILL BE VOTING FOR JOHN McCAIN! We CANNOT let America become Barry’s college project. IN times of uncertainty and turmoil lets elect a guy who can EXPERIMENT with our country!!?? That’s should be the DNC line for Obama. LET THE EXPERIMENT BEGIN!! FORGET THAT!! John McCAIN a man who puts his country first! vs Mr. Ambition empty suit WAAAAAY out there “My conventional church.” that I left after it become public knowledge. CONVENTIONAL MY RARE!
It doesn’t matter, McCain, after he just got finished lying and cheating within the house of GOD!! How dare he. He was asked flat out how his room of silence was, in which he replied “I was trying to hear through the walls”… Ha Ha funny man, to bad you weren’t even in the building sitting comfortably in your motorcade listening to the whole darn thing!!!!! How dare he indeed.
While Obama continues to use the tattered “Same Old Republican or Bush politics” slogan, here’s one for Obama. If Obama says “hope” or “change” one more time without being specific, I’ll just quit watching and listening to him. Same Old Obama politics, change and hope but no specifics and no guts when answering questions without a prompter in front of him. Good heaven’s he could not even answer a 7 year old’s question as to why he wanted to be President of the US. This guys an empty suit. I wish we had someone really different and qualified to run but the way our elections go, who would want the job anyway? We’re stuck with what we have so I’ll go with the person who has some experience, who was not invovled with dirty Chicago politics, one who doesn’t associate with racists and radicals and one who continued to serve his country even after captivity during war. Seems like the safe road to me given the choices of paths available.
LISTEN PEOPLE! McCAIN cheated! He had at least half the questions in advance. He had time to rehearse. That is why he did better than expected. He still gave a lame answer.Five million dollars to be considered rich. That proves he is out of touch.I guess he did not get to rehearse that answer.I am a conservative.I will not vote for McCain.I think he is dishonest.I am looking forward to see how well he does during the debates.I am sure some political pundits will still declare McCain won regardless of how badly he does .Get smarter America!!!
I can not understand why some many people think Obama has the answers. He had a chance to tell me what he was about and to give me a reason to vote for him. I found his answers slow and not taking any side. I was not in McCains camp until he talked without stopping and thinking about the polls.
I will just be glad when this is over and we can just hate each other for being black, white or just different.
Change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change change on and on!!!! Same old democrat no change. A real change is to not to serve any special interests, not just different ones. But maybe I’m just bitter and holding onto my guns and religion! Unlike mrs. Obama I have always been prode to be an American. Obama trys to show himself as a Christian but clearly the only root in Christ was from a racist pastor that hate America. But forget all that he sounds good enough for those who vote party no matter who runs. They could run Paris hilton and those fools would line up running!
I have never written a blog, but I feel this time I can not sit silent. There’s something called full disclosure, partial disclosure, and non-disclosure…Only the first one is the truth. When Pastor Rick asked John McCain, “How was the cone of silence?” and he did not tell the American people that he was not in fact in the cone for a full half an hour (or more), he boldly lied to the Pastor, and more importantly to the American people. He missed an opportunity to show us that he had the courage to be an honest citizen of the United States of America, and break from the politics of lying, cheating, and deceitfulness for one’s own political gain. If you recall, Obama was honest when he disclosed to the public that he had forewarning regarding the adoption question. That’s called integrity. Something that John McCain is clearly lacking.
I just saw on your news channel that Andrea Mitchell had the theory that John McCain heard or saw the interview with the Pastor of Saddleback church and Senator Obama while it was taking place. The Pastor admitted yesterday that he thought that McCain was in a sealed area while the interview went on with Obama, but in fact he wasn’t and said McCain was on his way to the broadcast in a limo that he was riding in. You seemed that you were not aware of that. You might want to check the facts with the Pastor. I personally think John McCain talked using his stump speeches more than religion, but the fact was that he was not in a sealed place in the area.
As much as Obama tries to reflect himself as a new politician his far left liberial approaches are nothing new to the USA….And he calls McCain same old politics???? Maybe he needs to look in the mirroe…there is nothing different between him and many other dems who have failed to deliver on past promises even the current dems in congress have control but have done absolutely NOTHING…..no energy policy….no secure borders…no understanding of what it means to win in Iraq….and surely no limits on special pet projects which Obama has spent millions of everyone else’s money on for his districts. I would think given McCain accomplishments which some have failed….not due to his desire not to cross the aisles….Obama should see a person who he just wishes he could be……but no Obama and the “savior mentality” can not bring themselves to this realization. Pure socialism, higher taxes and MAJOR spending programs with DECREASED security are the watchwords which Obama should see in the mirror and they smile in the temption of this goal. The very desire to keep the USA “dependent” on foreign oil sources is further evidence of this de-emphasis on the USA as a nation and desire of the global fellow they desire….they truly know we can not wean off oil in the next 20 years thus by not exploring our own resources make the USA ever dependent on the 3rd world….america dependent not independent should be their motto.
HOW ABOUT THE NATIVE PEOPLES?
WE ARE LIKE TOTALLY SPIRITUAL
OR SOMETHING. SKY. ROCK.
WIND. EARTH. WATER. LIKE
ORGANIC BRO.
So, eric, you were in the car with McCain and know he was listening to everything King Obama said. Since Obama never says anything of substance, I don’t think McCain got a leg up on him.
So Rick warren lied to the whole when said Mccain, oldman, was in he “cone of silence room?” This was “purposefully driven.” McCain who now claims he is Baptist must be a fake.
Wow, what some people are calling ‘negative’ seems like factual to me. To all of the above that have had such a vile reaction to Sen. McCain- where is your proof that Sen. McCain was ‘listening in - oh, that’s right on only needs the implication to know it is so. To those of you who have said you are former “R’s”- your disrepect indicates otherwise.
I find it amazing that so many did not like the forum on Sat.- it gave us a chance to see the real differences between tthe 2 men. The American people can decide which type of President they would like to see - an ‘intellectual’ or a ‘definitive’ man.
Re: Economic disaster- soooo many on the ‘left’ always seem to forget 9/11 and the effect that had on our economy and that the fix isn’t just an overnight one. There are too many now who think that one just needs to take ‘one pill’ to make it all better-the INSTANT GRATIFICATION GANG(IGG). To all IGG’s out there- solutions to major problems are not a one-size fits all and just like any garden you plant(you should be planting one if you are an environople) the seeds aren’t full grown plants right away.
Bernard:
Don’t give us the “I was a republican before Fox news” B.S. You’re a fake and a liar. Why on earth, would you blog on their website? Go drink your koolaid, freak!
Face it folks, the Republicons and McCain can’t win without lying and cheating, the usual calling cards of the party. McCain is a disgrace, and not fit for any government post.
You guys need to quit fighting and make a stand. Vote for “None of the above” this year. Send a message that you are fed up with the polictial parties as they are.
I’m voting for Bob Barr.
Well, the Big “O” showed what a slimball he really is. I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-, UH, UH, UH, UH. Are those the two biggest words in his vocabluary? He stutters and stammers like crazy when he doesn’t have a teleprompter telling him what to say. He is not up to the job of being President of the United States and I don’t care where you come from, how much money you have, if you can’t see that, you deserve to be down the toilet with Obama.
Give us Colin Powell whom I’d vote for in a skinny minute. But not Obama. He is a child in grown up clothes and has to have someone else do his homework for him. Last night proves 100% why he won’t debate McCain. He “ain’t” got it in him.
Wake up, take the mud off your eyes and see him for what he really is - otherwise the US is in big trouble.
Go McCain ‘08
In response to the person so anxiously waiting to call McCain a liar, this goes to show how the junk talk flies.
First of all…one must have a concept of “joke”…. lighten up!
Second of all, he hastily points out that McCain was not even in the building.. but, yet he was asked about the “room” he was in during his cone of silence. So, musta not been the first one who lied.
When he said he was listening at the wall…that was called a JOKE! It wasn’t serious!! He was responding to the question with a bit of a joke.
Good gracious!! I wish that people in this country could look for the best man (or woman) for President and look for important issues…not what room a person was in and making a major claim that one lied….about soemthing as absolutely insignificant as this!
Just plain silly, but what is scary about this is these people vote and just how valid and substantial is their decision and on what is it based? What the person eats for breakfast or where he sits? Or do they make those decisions based on the persons history and qualifications?
I have to live under the same President and I am hoping that a substantial number of us are making our decisions based on substance and facts, not on childishness.
1. John McCain arrived 30 minutes late, and was escorted straight to the “cone of silence” according to reports so let’s cut the accusations of “cheating” out now.
2. Didn’t Obama come out with a video that said McCain’s economic policy would destroy America a few days BEFORE McCain put his out? If anyone should be whining about “same old politics” it’s John McCain. Obama is trying so hard to liken McCain to Bush, but they alike in many respects other than supporting the war. If anything Obama should be likened to the man who just endorsed him; Jimmy Carter. Want to talk about the worst president ever? That’s who is backing Obama.
3. Politics is about building yourself up, and tearing the other person down. It’s sad but true. If Mr. Obama can’t handle it than he should rethink accepting the democratic nomination.
4. In response to the first guy to post on here. The GOP is not at all fascist. Fascism is actually fairly close to communism when broken down, which is associated more with the socialist left, and neo-communists in the democrat party. There may be an ultra right in our republican party but most American conservatives want VERY limited government control on business (lassiez-faire), as well as significantly less government spending, and lower taxes. Perhaps you should study the parties before accusing the GOP of being anything other than American conservative.
Thanx to AUSUSA — I was wondering who Obama’s president was too. As a matter of fact, the oath he took as a US Senator reuires him to acknowledge only one president. This jerk should be kicked out of the Senate, not elected president.
Obama thats the way, start to answer back. The Republicans are slowly turning their back on McBus, they see he will only follow Bush, and they are tired of what Bush has done to US. McCain only wwants to be President to go to war. He dose not care about the people, he is an elitist. McCain lied the hole time at church, you could tell. He is so used to it , look at all the lobbyist he has working for him, and he says he doesn’t! The way he treats his wife, I caan’t trust the guy. He is a warmonger. Obama has a lot to offer, the media attacks him more than they do McCain. Do remember McCain was the celebrity before Obama . The media protects him they did not mention a lot when ho offered his wife for a topless contest. If it had been Obama, my God the media would have had a party. McCain is just not the man we want as President. 10 out of 49 Republican Senators have said no to him. They are not going to the Convention, this says a lot. I will vote this year as a Democrat , I think Obama as shown he would be a better leader for our country.
Is anyone surprised at any DEMOCRAT whinning and complaining about a REPUBLICAN when a Republican was obviously the stonger during the Saddleback forum.
There is no question that McCain was the stronger.
job well done by mccain.
obama skipped too many grades in school….he needs to go back and finish class.
oh yeah, mccain was in route to the church when obama was looking like a fool on stage, therefore the msm must disqualify mccain. makes left wing sense to me.
i don’t know if anyone else notices the similarities between john edwards and obama. when the dust settles, i predict those two maybe mentioned in the same sentence.
AFTER THE DISASTER OBOMA MADE ON THE SAT. NIGHT DEBATE…..
NOT ONLY IS HE A FAILURE IN ECONOMICS…….
HELP US ….. MICHELLE AND HIS GRAND MOTHER ARE GOING TO GIVE HIM ADVISE ON WORLD AFFAIRS……
OBOMA DID NOT HAVE A CLUE.
OBOMA THOUGHT HE COULD SHOW MCCAIN UP ON WHAT ALL REV…WRIGHT HAD TAUGHT HIM IN THAT CHURCH……OBOMA WAS TRYING TO SHOW US HE WAS NOT A MUSLIN……… YEA…..
OBOMA …..DID HIS USUAL THINK TALK AND TALK…… NOT ABOUT THE QUESTIONS ASKED JUST WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS ASKED…….OR HIS OPIONS ON THE SUBJECT….. REV…WRIGHT CAME OUT SERVAL TIMES…….
MOST OF THE TME IT WAS IN LEFT FLIELD….. F- GRADE
MCCAIN A+ ….. MCCAIN IS READY TO BE PRES. ON DAY 1…….
Obama’s comment about it “being above his pay grade” meant no human can answer the question, “when does life beegin?” I took it to mean that only God can answer that question. Why do people try to turn that into a negative?
It is amazing to me that this egocentric elitist has made it this far. He is going to have to answer questions without adoring crowds and tele-prompters at debates and McCain is going to mop the floor with him.
And thank God for that. I cannot stand by and see someone who hates our country and calls Americans selfish to run this great nation into the ground.
I don’t understand how he can say this about Mccain; the other article is titled “Obama back to slamming Mccain after kind words at forum”!! Sounds like Obama is mud slinging - not the kind of campaign he said he wanted to run. He knows his performance sucked at Saddleback Church so he’s trying to turn negative attention on Mccain who did great and I’m not a Mccain fan but I will vote for him over Obama for so many reasons.
I find it interesting that McCain tries to talk against Obama to the veterans and says that he doesn’t get it because he hasn’t served. Obama gets more campaign funding from the military than McCain does so maybe it’s true that people are tired of the same old war stories.
Bernard you need to be a democrat, the way you spell shows your change was right, and you need to go to MSNBC, its democrat only. So go and dont come back when Obama gets blown away.
Amir you re so full of it, you think people are going to believe lies made up by liberal fools like you. No wonder you are losers, like Nobama, and his pastor GD America.
obama is an arrogant rookie senator from a dodgy political system and the GOP, and anybody else in this country, has a right to vet him and the let the country know what he’s reallyl about.
If the tables were turned on sat night and Obama came off better, you libs wouldnt be bashing on about McCain hearing the questions. Mccain is rehearsed in this type of thing because of all the townhalls he has done. he is able to quickly answer questions and that, my friends, is where he will have the advantage in the debates. i laugh now that your all saying the polls are rigged. if obama was winning you wouldnt say that. obamabots just cant stand it that people are seeing through the false suit and now see what he really is - a bit empty.
McCain negative? Senator Obama, your own words attacking McCain are negative! You are naive, inexperienced and personally, I do not think asking your wife or your grandmother on who to select as Supreme Court judges or anyone else for that matter is a viable reason to elect you. Frankly, being president of the U.S. is above Obama’s pay scale. This guy comes off as a puppet.
It’s clear why Barack Obama has continually refused John McCain’s offer of joint town hall appearances during the fall campaign — in front of AMERICAN CITIZENS.
McCain doesn’t need 300 advisors and a teleprompter. He is obviously better at spur-of-the-moment than Obama. Makes for a better President of the USA.
Obama did a pretty good job speaking to FOREIGNERS during his world tour! WHY WON’T HE MEET WITH US AND LET US ASK QUESTIONS OF BOTH OF THEM — KINDA LIKE THE SADDLEBACK EVENT?
Obama tanked at the forum and he can’t get that momentum back. He will lose in November. Funny how he through his party base under the bus. Though his complete political career was to support abortion and partial birth abortion he basically is saying that he no longer likes it. He will lie to get the nomination. See the link below. PUMA’s will be making this pubic and also sending to the superdelegates that got paid for supporting Obama.
http://comealongway.wordpress.com/2008/08/18/bought-and-paid-for-by-nancy-pelosi/
Waterboard all the Liberals.
McCain did not comply with the “cone of silence” He was puposefully late to let him get the questions. His campaign said he didn’t listen or watch coverage. If you believe them (and I don’t, this is a race for the Presidency) they did not say his staff didn’t watch or listen or that he was told or given notes about the questions.
we already have economic disaster from John McCain’s president George W. Bush,
Same old Dems.
For better or for worse, Bush is THE president and not McCain’s president.
You don’t have to like him but as the prospective nominee, you need to acknowledge him.
Talk about being unpatriotic.
What a joke! If any of you have toddlers I am sure that you have seen Yo, Gabba, Gabba! Well, the main character of this show looks just like Obama! The only difference is that Yo, Gabba, Gabba knows he’s a clown so he dresses appropriately. Oh wait, dressing like that is ABOVE HIS PAY GRADE!!!!!!!!! His next book should be called Mr. Wishy, Washy because his lack of conviction!
TO BERNARD
You are funny now go and watch cnn you willl be running back to become a republican ones again . Butt a don’t believe you were ever a republican? On your writing it looks like you are a socialist.
It’s good that McStupid doesn’t want to raise taxes, after all, we don’t need to pay for anything! The goodwill that the rest of the world feels for America will prevent them from ever calling in their debts. Wee, I’m stupid!
MCCain thinks $5 million a year makes you a rich person? It’s good that McStupid doesn’t want to raise taxes, after all, we don’t need to pay for anything! The goodwill that the rest of the world feels for America will prevent them from ever calling in their debts. Wee, I’m stupid!
obama has made a lot of “good promises”, but i ask ,”where is the beef”
Obama is SO incredibly weak. The very last thing this country needs is a president who WHINES!! He was the first one to launch a negative attack ad; he has followed that with more. And then he WHINES about McCain not playing nice?!?! Is he for real?!?!
First of all even if he heard the question look at his voting history, he did not lie, McCain spoke exactly how he votes, Obama hmed and hawed on some of the issues and avoided the answer because he did not want to say he does not believe an infant has a right to life even after birth if aborted. Just throw it in the trash. McCain was ask several question more than Obama and still answer quickly and without a problem. So he may of had an hour to think over some of them but not enough time to figure out all the answers after all according to Obama’s campaign McCan is senile. As for Obama, I have looked up how both men vote and Obama says one thing but votes another. When ever he thinks he has lost a foruim he cries and it took him three tries to end up sayin what McCain said in one try about Russia. Then said McCain may have overstated it so does that mean Obama did too? And to complain that McCain spoke to the president of Georgia, whom he has know for years, was presumptuous is crazy. That is like saying if you knew someone who was in trouble and consoled them instead of their parents and family you are wrong. Grow up cry baby and stop whining every time you stink at something.
Now thin of McCain running an add like this: They are going to try to scare you so you wont vote for me, they will tell you I am old, senile, have a funny name and did I mention I’m white? Is that not stupid but Obama does and everyone who backs him thinks it is peachy, yet no one has said any of the things Obama claims they will so who is silly?
It just shows that Obama is lack of experience and not ready to lead.
obama is black, what a surprise. the only one who talks about his being black is obama himself. when mccain becomes president will the blacks riot, will the white riot if obama wins. i think not. The people will have spoken and not NBC news etc. i wonder if they would even cover the white house with mccain in. They will just keep covering obama and say how the white racists put mccain in. Of course it is ok for obama to get 99% of the black vote because he is black, but any vote by a white person for mccain is a racist vote for sure. Or don’t whites have the same freedoms that blacks have when it comes to voting. And what about Hillary, the obama people trashed her and keep trashing her, what a wonderful way to unite the party. I am neither a republican or democrat but do have a mind of my own and will vote for the person i feel will best lead the country
I cannot believe Rick Warren or the media. I am a veteran and I truly am ashamed of John McCain. You’ve been a prisoner of war and you are using that as something special to win a election. You have got to be kidding me. I will pray that America will do the right thing in November. McCain is exactly what he seems. If America allows him to be the President then it’s our own fault. We deserve whatever we get. We have a chance to make a difference, to make a change. If we continue to go down this road, we are asking for whatever we get. I hope America wakes up and smell the coffee. I know my family doesn’t need another 4 years of the Bush Adminstration and if you choose McCain that is exactly what we will get. Bush has messed up the economy and everything else, really how much damage could Obama do by making a change. Ask yourself if you like where you are right now. If you do, great, if you don’t vote for CHANGE. Vote for Obama, I know he has my vote.
how long does it take a poet to post
And just who IS your President, Barrack? It is ludicrous to compare McCain with Bush, just as it is to compare you with Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy or any of the other great orators. The difference between them and you is that they had more substance in their heads or little fingers and suits than you do. You are just a lot of promising words; no substance.
It was George Bush who has kept you safe since 9/11. And it is interesting to note that we didn’t have so many economic woes until the Democrats took control of the House and Senate. That ought to tell the people of this country something.
The house I grew up in was a lot worse that what I saw on Wilder Street in Hawaii! Poor boy, my butt.
Thank you John McCain…after 25 years of solid republican votes I’ve finally seen the light. I’ll be voting Obama in November
Did anyone fail to notice his position on abortion? If human life begins at the moment of conception then, in his mind, nearly every form of birth control counts as abortion. Couples who use in vitro could also be punished, because not all possible fertilized eggs are selected. Stem cell research, which he claims to support, would also suffer. If women would not be allowed to interfere in any way in a pregnancy from conception, or even in conception, the number of unwanted pregnancies would skyrocket. In the future he should probably think things through before trying to appease the pro-lifers.
Yes the McBush lovers will continue to vote themselves into poverty and then blame the Liberals. This is why I support Ron Paul. Why should the South tell the North how to live and why should the North tell the South how to live. Disband the Federal Government to nothing and let the states pick up the social issues. We are so different and have different needs. We should stop all of the façade of BS by both parties; they are more the same than different. I will ironically be voting for Obama, the reason, I would rather spend my money on America than Foreign Wars.
Eric- and you have absolute proof of this accusation you have made. In this day and age one should know the facts before being so righteous.
While listening to the GOP speech between Senator McCain and Senator Obama, I didn’t feel comfortable with some of the quick answers from Senator McCain. It appeared Senator McCain speech might have been rehearsed. As the World knows Politics can become a dirty game. The GOP speech should be disregarded. McCain has never been as accurate and fast speaking as long as I have been listening to him. As a matter of fact if he can think that fast why didn’t he think before signing for a WAR?
you pepole will belive anything you think a good christan man like mcCain would lie and cheat in church if yall would listen to 710 am yall would have a a differnet voice about this ~~GO McCain~~ and im not even old enough vote and i have more sense then yall
Face it Obamabots YOUR candidate LOST. Without his telepromptor Obama has NO new ideas or anything of substance to offer the American voter. His inexperience and lack of knowledge and insight was GLARING and now you fools are grabbing at straws to find fault and lay blame for his lackluster performance. Do you think if he ever meets with world leaders he will have a telepromptor? NO, he would fall flat on his face as he demonstrated this weekend. Socialistic loser.
