Obama should be careful, there might be some big, fat, annoying, conservative film producer somewhere (the anti-Moore),who may make a movie about him disparaging his political career by showing video of him playing golf during a crisis. It was good for the goose.

Yes Obama is on vacation. At present; he is a US Senator. I find it amusing that Obama is expected to mitigate to crisis in Georgia; but NOTHING is expected of the sitting US President(that you voted for)

For those who criticize Obama for not “handling” the Georgian conflict, remember you pick on him when you think he is acting Presidential. By playing golf during the start of a war, he is acting very presidential (George H. Bush August 1990 or George W. Bush August 2005 with Katrina)

Just offering a general observation and curiosity. McCain, as did Hillary, complains that Obama gets so much more media attention yet doesn’t it seem that Obama is also held to stricter scrutiny? I mean no one expects McCain to be perfect as everyone knows he isn’t but isn’t that exactly what they look for in Obama as they criticize everything and fault any supposed flaw. They have created a constant and highly critical observation of him that exceeds what his opponents are subjected to and anything noted other than perfection brings suggested rejection. Of course that is unfair as no one is really perfect and then the only real valid question is whether he is better than his opponent – not super human needing to be without any fault rather just measurably better. There are those that would like the voters to base their decision solely on whether Obama is without blemish, while knowing no one is, and when finding him with imperfection then voting for McCain. The problem with that is that it is over looking the flaws and imperfections in McCain and not really considering who will actually do the better job. It would seem that the voters really need to be more critical of the critics.
