I thought it was Mccain that gave a speach claiming that he'd already won not just a first term but a second term as president. Claiming he had won the Iraq war and so on... I am no longer a democrat as I will not have who I vote for selected for me. I do not agree with the democratic party on many issues, such as energy, iraq, handouts, there are ways of helping people with a helping hand not a hand out. I feel that there should be less government at the federal level. I do believe we need universal healthcare but that it is not like other countries it should remain free enterprise but with legislation governing the costs and no more preexisting conditions outs and no more non coverage of needed procedures.I don't mind paying for insurance as most don't but I think it needs to be fairly priced. I say the democratic congress is corrupt and does Nothing but point fingers at republicans when they are sincerely trying to do what the american public wants. DRILL NOW!!!!!!!! I hope Pelosi enjoys her vacation, I hope all americans vote the dems that will not drill OUT of office. The congress work for the people not the other way around. Thanks for letting me rant .
