I was wondering why so many people would turn out to see a man who has done nothing in his Government. He has a smooth way of" talking the talk ",but let the facts speak for itself. What a way to miss lead people in to thinking that people want to hear you. I would definintly go to a rally of the other party when thier is a concert with a band i want to see!. " HOW MISLEADING " Thank you for sharing this info. Ana.

Ana, I've heard from friends that this was the case too but the "press" appears to be bought out in this Election.

The Berlin Wall did not come down because “the world stood as one” as Obama said. The wall fell because of a decades-long, struggle against one of the greatest dictatorial and oppressive ideologies---communism. It was a struggle in which strong and determined U.S. leadership was constantly questioned, both in Europe and America. The Berlin Wall was built because of the cold-hearted opposition of communism toward freedom, not because there was a lack of communication. In today’s world there are countries that have true and factual differences in values, morals and religious principals. It is these values like communism that have cause human conflict and suffering, not a failure to communicate.

He should not be representing the US on foreign policy and making deals with some foreign countries before he is elected by the people of the US. He didn't mention the United Nations once during his glorious speech----the very purpose of this agency. Talk about uniting people!

Dear Fox News:

In order to be "Fair & Balanced", someone should point out that the very large crowd attending Obama's speech in Berlin was there for the main purpose of a concert. Two of Europe's most popular bands performed after Obama's speech -- and that's the reason so many young people attended. They were not there necessarily to hear him speak but to attend a rock concert. This has never been reported or even referred to by the media in the U.S. It was reported in newspapers in London, U.K. By not mentioning this fact, we in the U.S. are lead to believe they were there only to hear Obama speak. This is wrong. My, my, my . . . the media is definitely trying to influence the outcome of this election.

the large crowd size could certainly be attributed to the FREE CONCERT that was there as well but the drive by media doesn't think we need to be concerned about that huh?

To the previous comment...

Althought there were performances before both events the obvious reason for the crowd being there was to see Barack Obama. You have a fatal flaw in your logic, if those people were there for the music they would have left immediately after it finished. Secondly if your statement were true it would be a small minority like 10% (20,000) out of 200,000. That would be basically saying anytime either candidate was at a event and there was someone else there you would be saying a good amount of people there NOT to see the candidate at there event.

I, too, am disappointed Fox did not report that the "huge" crowd was maybe attracted by a free concert, brauts and beer.

The group before his speech in Portland was a little-known group called The Decemberists. Yea, you're not likely to have heard of them.
Could it be that maybe he thought it would simply be nice to give the people who took time out of their lives to come see him speak a little more than simply a speech? Naaah - that wouldn't fit into the image so many people want to have and hold onto about him. Especially because he's doing so well.
