Obama’s 757 is Back in Service
Sally, a nickname bestowed upon Barack Obama’s chartered 757 by some in the traveling press, has returned to service after undergoing a month-long makeover for the general election. Her inaugural flight - sans candidate - will be to Amman, Jordan, with a refuel stop in Ireland. There are 69 passengers on board, including 38 members of the press, Secret Service agents, and Obama staffers, including several of Obama’s top foreign policy advisors.
The North American jet that flew Obama and his traveling crew around for much of the primary season was refurbished with new seats and power for each passenger a must on the campaign trail. And the plane that once had an American flag on its tail now sports the Obama “O.” “Change We Can Believe In” and the candidate’s website are splayed across both sides of the fuselage, making this 757 anything but inconspicuous.
Also new to the plane: mesh curtains that divide the press and Secret Service from the staff and candidate’s parts of the plane. While Obama and his staff get first class seating, press and agents are relegated to standard 3 seats-per-row seating. But, staffers advise us that some rows were taken out of the plane to give us more leg room.
Prior to getting refurbished, the plane sported hundreds of photographs documenting life on the campaign trail. While her walls are bare now, expect a more personal cabin after the press get reacquainted with the plane on this 14-hour journey to the Middle East.

First Class for Staff. Beyond the silver curtain is where Obama will sit. The section has just four Lay-Z-Boy style seats, at least one of which is embroidered with the Obama ‘08 logo in its headrest. The roomy section has just one other feature - a table for four.

Shoot, we might as well go ahead and rename the U.S. the United States of Obama…he already has changed the U.S. presidential seal and now has outfitted his own plane by removing the American flag from the tail.
Personally, I think he is arrogant and presumptuous. Of course, that is one “man’s” opinion…you are free to have your own.

Sucks that Obama doesn’t have a wife to let him borrow her company jet. What will we do without an Elitist president. Also must suck to have to go to all of those Senate votes. Whats the big deal???? Geez, Many folks who run for office be it small local elections or president of the United States often change up their “rides”. Their buses, trains, planes whatever they are riding on advertises their campgaign. Well, the American flag hasn’t been removed entirely; just shifted to the fuselage. It’s good to know that Obama isn’t like all those other politicians (e.g., Pelosi) jetting back and forth across the country– oh, wait a minute, he’s exactly like them.
He doesn’t need the flag on the tail he’s reversed his position on wearing it on his clothes.
BHO never surprises me anymore. His antics are becoming more and more absurd. Those supporting him really need to wake up and realize that he is controlled by big money. He is not yet president. so why should he use the American flag on his plane abroad ? That’s called being fair!!! It would have appeared arrogant if he were traveling abroad with the American flag on his plane although he is not yet president.

It is now being discussed in CONGRESS to remove the border line between Mexico and Canda and join as one (something like that). This must be why Obama says we should learn Spanish. If this happens, we will no longer be a Nation, but will be an aliance with these other two countries. Scares the heII out of me, get Obama out, call your Congress and let them know how you feel about this scary thing they want to do. Stop it!!!!!!!!!!! With Obama choosing to use his own logo for his overhauled 757, rather than keeping the American flag……… it speaks volumes to me about his loyalty to America ! The President of the United States should have red, white and blue blood flowing in his veins. Obama only has red !!!!!
