The Schmidt effect?

DENVER — Less than one week after the official Steve Schmidt take over of day-to-day operations, pure message discipline today–economy, economy, economy–from Camp McCain.

(Left: Note new “Jobs for America” signage at his event.)

In addition to his speech addressing his jobs plan, the campaign did the following things Monday to hammer home their message:

–announced that 300 economists endorsed his economic plan.

–held two national conference calls for reporters pushing the jobs message.

–rolled out a national “jobs coalition” of small business owners in 19 states.

–released of a comprehensive briefing paper on their plan to balance the budget in four years.

–released early McCain speech excerpts to reporters.

–did not hold a press conference where other issues were sure to come up.

Also noteworthy was the campaign’s restraint regarding the Obama Iraq withdrawal remarks today. While McCain has not yet addressed the comments himself–and we know he must be itching to talk about it–he maintained the message. Even when tossed a softball today by one town hall participant who asked the presumptive GOP nominee what the biggest difference was between him and Obama–McCain showed a good amount of restraint, keeping his criticism related to the economy.

What has been endorsed by over 300 professional economists including Nobel Prize winners, business economists with experience in the private sector, policy economists with experience in government and academic economists from major universities and state and community colleges?

The answer is John McCain’s Jobs for America Economic Plan.

Democrat in Exile voting for John McCain 2008

sen. obama it seems is running for dictator of America. i think he as been in senate long enough to know that it is congress that ultimately decides what bills are passed, so making all these promises is so much hot air. forcing corporations to comply with his views will end up in the courts, as a lawyer he knows or should know that. bringing out the youth vote is commendable though Hillary also had a lot to do with that, but don’t insult the intelligence of the young voters. as they become more knowledgeable of the workings of politicians they will start asking questions and will not be put off with a Texas two step answer. they will want to know how and when these promises will be delivered. so if sen. obama or sen McCain wants these votes they have better be prepared to answer. it is their future they are morgaging and they are the ones who will have to pay it back

Republicans have done such a “BANG UP” job creating the largest debt and biggest increase in spending in US HISTORY. 4 more years of Bush! YAY!

“Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”
That is it in a nutshell: Obama is trying to pick up a turd by the clean end. Eventually the smell will overwhelm americans and they’ll know that he’s speaking out his butt.

McCain’s economic strategist is none other than Phil Gramm. Check out his involvement causing the subprime mess and what he personally pushed through Congress that leads to the present oil manipulation scam, as other’s mistakenly call “speculation”.
Want that person in office again?

Let’s see more trickle down economics that’s worked so great thus far. How about a tax cut that I get taxed on again. 300 economists that are no doubt working for companies with an interest as opposed to anyone independent. Mc Cain is a detriment to the political process and must not be elected or we will continue to sink deeper into this recession.

get ready for PRESIDENT McCain, Greg!

Yah, you can tell it is going to be another Bush type campaign. In Denver a 60-year-old librarian was given a citation for trespassing because she was holding up a sign saying “McCain = Bush”. The campaign is trying to control the crowds that go into the events just as Bush did. So much for separating themselves from Bush.

McCain economy leaning less government, less spending, tax cuts for everybody, not to raise the tax.

Go McCain for president 08

O-ba-same-a is a dirty Chicago politician. He is nothing new unless you consider that he is the first Marxist running as a major political party candidate. The hate Bush rhetoric has reduced the bulk of the democratic party into a bunch of lunatics. God help us if they don’t come to their senses soon. The MSM is starting to get out of the Obama love gaze and ask some real questions now. Reality may soon hit.

Well thankfully the breakdown of the electoral college is leaning heavily in favor of Obama, so anyone believing McCain will be there in the end is delusional.

To Patrick, Democrats and Obama worshipers.

Those critical of debt, economy and present policy remember these points: present debt, economy in general, high fuel costs, terrorism, limited constitutional rights and other conceivable hardships are a direct result of or created by Democrats in government, more specifically, corrupt Democrat congressional leaders Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

Put Obama in the presidency and you have compounded all problems, especially terrorism and forfeiure of constitutional rights.

McCain has spent virtually his entire life living off of a government check (first as a military dependent, then as a member of the military himself, then as a Senator). His medical expenses are well covered. His job is secure. He doesn’t have a clue what the private sector is all about. Not a clue!

Is that the same private sector sending me ten tons of junk mail a year?

At least McCain doesn’t send me junk mail!
