All About Unity: Obama, Clinton to Campaign Together in New Hampshire
The Obama campaign just announced the location for Friday’s much-anticipated joint public appearance of erstwhile Democratic primary opponents Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton — the sleepy little town of Unity, New Hampshire.
It’s not just the name that’s fitting; the town split down the middle in it’s Democratic presidential preference, casting exactly 107 votes for Obama and 107 for Hillary Clinton on January 8th.
The two candidates are set to hit another location yet to be determined on Friday — one day after holding a closed fundraiser together in Washington. As one Clinton campaign staffer said about the two rivals hitting the campaign trail, it’s “all in the name of unity…. Literally!”
UPDATE: Obama mentioned Clinton in his remarks to women workers in New Mexico today, praising her and saying he looks forward to working with her on issues important to women and to American families. Check out the video below.

I will be there protesting Obama!!!
PUMA Democrat.
Sorry Hillary, but I refuse to give you money to give to BO.
The Democratic Party is broken for four more years.
It is a sad day for our Country.
I will give my support to John McCann to lead our Country now. He is a gentleman and cares deeply for America.
Maybe Hillary 012.
FOX NEWS IS FAIR AND BALANCED.
me too McCain 08
Go get em, PUMA Dem.
Dem for McCain.
I have one question for you “dems” that supported HRC but will be voting for McCain. Can you specify a single important issue where HRC’s position is closer to McCains that Obamas?
I’m very sad after all. Hillary and Obama have complete different views of everything and now why Hillary can back him up??? Obama puts her down so many times. Obama is very left and he will turn America in socialism! We don’t support Obama. Never, Never,,
We made up our minds and vote for MCCAIN 08′
Sorry! But this is the only choice we have… Obama is a nightmare!
MCCAIN 08′
As a Democrate I also will be voting for McCain this time around.
Dem for McCain. Hillary in 2012!
It is a sad day for this country when people are so upset about a primary loss that they are wiling to vote for someone, a Republican, who will undoubtedly push our country further into a recession, our children further into war- all down the path our current President Bush has set in motion. It is you, the Democrats willing to vote for McCain, that are splitting our party. Not Barack Obama and not Hillary Clinton. Shame on you.
No your wrong. This has been brought on by the DNC. The DNC has split the party.
For those of us who watched the primary elections unfold, we have reason to be upset. Clinton was the front runner by double digits against Obama and McCain. Then Obama began playing his race card against everyone in sight - Geraldine Farraro, Bill and even Hillary herself.
This is not the way elections are run. Obama claimed he couldn’t control his minions, but he was writing the script for them. Then we come to Revs Phluger and Wright. What a pair. They hate America. They hate whites. They hate everything not black. But did Obama throw them under the bus. No. He made some meally-mouthed speech about how Wright was his friend and WE have to foregive him. Phluger he said, shouldn’t have said that. Why? Because we would find out about it?
Yeah. We have plenty of reason to not support Obama. Every one of us should be voting not for McCain but AGAINST Obama.
PLEASE let this be the beginning of their campaigning together!!!!
comment by K: It is O that is dividing Americans with such venom and hateful speech. We are now voting for McCain to vote against O, don’t you get it? O is the hateful one plus the taxes he will raise will take us into a catastrophe. Stop looking only at his color.
Dem for McCain.
We are not voting for Obama. It doesn’t matter if Hillary support him.
LOL @ Skeets saying Fox is fair and balanced.
K did you forget it was democrats that tried to talk to terrorist and we ended up with the twin towers? how many attacks have we had sense we fought back/ And Iraq is beginning to get safe enough for them to have investors starting to invest in businesses in their country. Does this not say something to us as Americans? Get off the war issue it wont help Obama.

Nice try KC. But everybody knows Iraq did not attack us. And the Iraq War was ill conceived and not worth one more American life. George Bush and Dick Cheney have wasted many lives and dollars in pursuit on some personal objective. Our country has only suffered due to the many Bush blunders. And in Mccain continues to flip flop in favor of the Bush failed policies, then he is no better that Bush and Cheney.
I love it bring the party together, Stop hating and start loving….
PS Get Over It
to socal619:
the answer to your question on the similaritities between mccain and hillary: integrety of character.
Personally I’d vote for a ragmop as long as it wasn’t a neocon Republican. ;p
