Obama Camp Calls McCain Criticism “Height of Hypocrisy”
Team Obama hit back today after McCain told FOX that Barack Obama has shown a “contradiction” by talking tough and not following through by naming Jim Johnson as the head of his veep search team. It was reported in the Wall Street Journal that Johnson may have received preferential loan treatment from Countrywide, a mortgage company Obama has railed against on the stump.
Here’s the Obama camp’s response:
“It’s the height of hypocrisy for the McCain campaign to try and make this an issue when John Green, one of John McCain’s top advisors, lobbied for Ameriquest, which was one of the nation’s largest subprime lenders and a key player in the mortgage crisis. As President, Senator Obama will crack down on fraudulent lenders and bring real relief to Americans struggling in the grip of the housing crisis—the kind of change that works for the American people.” – Obama campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor.
The McCain campaign in turn responded that Green in fact resigned from his position at Ameriquest “months ago and isn’t a lobbyist in accordance with our policy.” They stressed that Green is a volunteer who has “zero role in policy development,” and concluded, “It’s a totally false analogy” to compare Green to Johnson.

Obama has a lot of nerve calling McCain a hypacrit. He remained a member of Trinity all the while denouncing the minister and his message. What is up with that?
McCain should be ashame of his self. He constantly criticised companies and countries doing business with SUDAN , a country branded as one of the axis of evil but later came to light that his own wife was doing business with the SUDANESE govt. JOHN what would you call this, i guess hypocrisy is not the word, and when questioned he played dummy by saying that he never knew about that. Accepted his answer is true, then how can we trust you with this country if you dont even know who and where your own wife is doing business with. SHAME ON YOU JOHN MCCAIN

Obama is still wet behind those big ears. He has not earned the ‘wright’ to criticize John McCain about anything. Talk about two faced, Obama turned his back on Illinois Corruption and maintained his ‘friendship’ with all the radicals and criminals here. He worked to keep them in money and jobs while he turned his back on his black constituents, leaving them cold and hungry, after promising to improve their lives. Most of us will remember that on election day.
We do not want him, his family and friends in the White House, ever. McCain has forgotten more about love for America than Obama will ever learn.

The worst of the Obama desires is the ‘buying” of election with promises of billions of direct payments to the voters…..so wants to tax the middle to upper middle and upper income and just hand out money to everyone else…this is pure socialism and surely will “stimulate” the economic forces not!!!

Well…Obama can say alot..but again, that’s all he has to go on. He has never done anything, so any ideas he talks about is someone elses to be sure ! I see anytime anyone says anything against him, it’s racist, hypocristy or something. What is funny, is how people actually think he knows how to do anything..except as we all know, attend racist churches, spouse proclaims how unproud she is of USA, and use many catch phrases from previous speeches of others or movies.

Countrywide Financial Corp. makes mortgage loans through a vast network of offices, brokers and call centers. But a few customers have gotten their loans a special way: through Countrywide Chief Executive Angelo Mozilo.
These borrowers, known internally as “friends of Angelo” or FoA, include two former CEOs of Fannie Mae, the biggest buyer of Countrywide’s mortgages, say people familiar with the matter.
One was James Johnson, a longtime Democratic Party power and an adviser to Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign, who this past week was named to a panel that is vetting running-mate possibilities for the presumed nominee.
This is a long stretch to tie what Johnson role is to Barack’s character. The fact is that Johnson is by far the best man to do the job. If I had a nickel for every business man who invested in Realty Bonds “I” would be rich. The fact is that there is a BIG difference between investing in (as Johnson did) versus McCains former lobbiest who provided the loans to unsuspecting consumers. I think Joe’s preying on the poor people of America who wanted to fulfill their American dream of owning a home is criminal.
Not properly vetting the VP could have far more reaching implications. Obama surround himself with the very best people this country has to offer. No one is perfect but if he does not have a serious character breach then the campaign should endure the oppositions spin.
Senator Obama is critisizing Senator McCain, and President Bush on the gas price surge, but it is Obama and the Democratic Congress who would rather depend on the Middle East oil. Obama and the Democratic Congress do not want to develope energy source and drill a small portion of the oil reserves from our natural resources, despite of the fact that the people are suffering. US has 3 times more oil reserves in our ground than Saudi Arabia. I believe that the Arabs are controlling our economy in order to destroy the administration of the GOP. Therefore the people will vote for Barack Hussien Obama.

Ok, lay off the Church of Trinity thing until you have it right. Listen. Obama defended Rev Wright. The Media called it the finest speech ever made. Why? Obama claimed he never heard any of those things in chuck over 20 years. Then Pleger shot his mouth off. And Obama distanced himself from the CHURCH, not from Rev Wright.

I’m guessing this won’t get posted… but I’d like to point out that stories like this is why McCain is going to lose 50 states. All he does is talk about little silly stuff, when is he going to actually outline a policy or talk about what he’s going to do? I don’t care who one of Obama’s volunteers knew. This is the kinda story the die hard republicans jump on but McCain can’t win over any of the independents by providing no policies or any..anything other than petty childish criticisms.
Jim Johnson was picked because he’s had experience picking democratic vice-presidents before. As far as these loans are concerned, they are perfectly in reasonable rates for someone with Jim Johnson’s power and wealth. McCain, on the other hand, thinks americans will fall for the trick that these people aren’t real lobbyists because they quit right before they joined his campaign and, guess what, when McCain is done using them they’re back at their old jobs.
Obama has more problems besides Jim Johnson! And I notice a name above from Obama’s website! I feel is one of his web workers! Please google “Radmanaustin” see where it takes you!
