Should Hillary Clinton become a presidential nominee during the GE, I will support her wholeheartedly. However, there is nothing she can say that will influence me to vote for Obama.

I am a lifelong republican and after 8 miserable Bush years I have been so happy this year with the great choices the Dems have for a November victory. I really like Obama-Clinton ticket, and I also liked Edwards as a running mate.

I am in line with the positions Obama and Clinton have taken on nearly all the issues - they are very close, ideologically, with only a few nitpicky differences. I would be proud to have either of them restore dignity and sanity to the White House.

As an avid Clinton supporter, I can tell you that many women all across the country reserve judgement until they see Obama welcome her on the ticket. She worked too hard, fought too long, and came too close, to merely be excused as a surrogate, only to be overlooked. The Clinton legacy, now recognized in it’s greatness by the number of votes this time around, would be a plus in Obama’s camp, as is the Kennedy legacy.

In order to turn the page in history, you have to embrace the accomplishmnets of the past in order to move foreward to the future, otherwise nothing has been accomplished. Her popularity would certainly double his chances to win in November. Too many of her supporters will look to McCain if he fails to demonstrate that message to the women of this country.

If he advocates change, then what better way to prove that he can talk the talk, and then walk the walk ? His concern for the poor and downtrodden should include the dreams of women, who have lived their lives as 3rd class citizens throughout history… still as slaves in many parts of the world while tortured and abused daily. This time he MUST honor their struggle in history as well.

It would send a message to the world that he is indeed visionary, and not just another politician.
Such a move would attract citizens who would ordinarily vote Republican because they would suddenly realize that this candidate is different than all the others.

Hillary was a determined and skilled competitor but it is deeply disappointing that she took this long to give the speech.

It was disappointing that her tactics exacerbated the division within the Party that she professes to be so committed to advancing. Sadly, she will be remembered as a divider and not as a unifer.

Perhaps today, she will give the speech of her life and show this nation that she is more than a political opportunistic who is entranced by the the allure of, once again, heading a superpower (as she did so well when her husband enjoyed the title of President).

Hillary Clinton has never impressed me. Not until today. Hillary’s motivating speech left me almost speachless the first time I saw it. She has dreams for this country that no other candidate that has ran for president has ever had. I dont like the fact that she gave up though. If she would have gave this speech at the beginging of her campaign I believe that she would have not needed to drop out. The fact that she believes in America and that anything is possible showed that she was passionate for her job something that didn’t really shine through during her campaign. Think about the super delegates then go look it up. The DNC started them in 1980 so they could make sure THIER choice was elected not the peoples. Let’s see, when we had the republicans in congress the debit was begining to get paid off and our budget balanced then the democrats took over and POOF we are where we are now. Think about it, it has been the last year and a half that we really began to go down hill. I know several businesses who went under and every one was in this last year. Their profits dropped in the last year by 2/3s and they had to file bankruptcy. The year before they were making more than double but with taxes added on to what was already there and the recession that isn’t a recession they have lost it all. In our area the Chevy dealer closed and more are laid off. So I suggest we elect more far left liberals to think and support us. We need more jobs to leave the US and more small businesses to crash and more homes lost because there are no jobs. She was the best candidate for President. But, other people like little Howard Dean and the DNC have their own agenda, which means they didn’t really care what the majority of the Democratic voters wanted (they screwed Florida and Michigan) and used their so-called “super delegate” clowns to overide the voters. I guess this is part of Obama’s idea of “Change” and a “New Direction” … he can keep it. I just made my first donation to the McCain campaign.

Well, little Howard Dean and the DNC “super delegate” clowns have now moved into Phase 2 of their overall plan to try and get Barak Husssein Obama elected as President.

Phase 1: So the “super delegates” have successfully executed Phase 1 of their overall plan. They kept Hillary from being the Democratic Party candidate and through their voting were able to make Obama the Democratic candidate.

Phase 2: Now in Phase 2 they need to recover all the votes that supported Hillary and get them to support their candidate, Obama. They will do this by saying “we have to Unite the Party”. Unite the party means all of the Hillary voters have to give up and vote for Obama as they are told. Now they know it will be easier for them to do this “Uniting” if they can provide the “proverbial carrot” to Hillary to get her to support their plan to “Unite” the party. Realize, to them “Unite” means to get as many Democratic voters as possible to support who they want as a candidate.

Phase 3: Phase 3, will be the Democratic Convention in Denver in August where all of the delegates (including the “super delegates”) will already have everything set in place, they will have their little party to make their “voters” feel good (which means talk about “Change”, a “New Direction”, etc.); the “super delegates” will have achieved their objective.

Phase 4. Now they will, with the help of the “left-wing” media, try to sell enough American voters across the country on their story about “Change” and a “New Direction” so they can win the general election with Obama.

Phase 4 + 2 years. If Obama wins, the American electorate wakes up and says “My God, what did we do?”. I don’t see any real change and I feel like I’m going in the same old direction. My taxes are higher, I’m paying $5.00 gallon for gas, the planet is still getting warmer, and on and on.

Senator Clinton would have made an excellent Demoratic nominee. Through the use of over saturation of the most non-essential aspects of all the candidates lives, a lot of us have allowed the media (left wing & right wing) to blur our vision when it comes to the facts:

1. Both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama were excellent choices for the democratic nomination and that their POLICIES (the reason why we should be electing a president) were not that different

2. That this year, the difference between the Republican agenda as presented by Senator McCain and the Democrat agenda as presented by Senators Clinton and Obama are polar opposites which should make choosing a candiate that much more easy.

Unfortunately, many of us are forming opinions with our emotions instead of the facts. A lot of Clinton supporters are disappointed with the media’s coverage of her campaign and rightfully so however, to be so mad that Senator Clinton didn’t win the nomination that you:

1) vote for Senator McCain or
2) don’t vote at all,

reveals an emotional decision instead of one based on anaylsis of the democratic and republican policies proposed for the next four years. It’s silly.

Let’s say you are stuck on an island and that you are hungry but allergic to pineapples. You want an apple but find the apples are no longer available as an option… Only oranges are left to eat. What sense does it make to go eat the pineapples or starve?

I am glad this has finally reached the end. I am saddened that so many of Hillary supporters say they will vote for McCain before they vote for Obama. I ask why? Hillary and Obama have so much in common concerning their ideas and policies, so what it boils down to is who you liked better personally. I think the only difference between the two candidates is what helped Obama win. Clinton underestimated a better, vague phony than herself. Even the most delusional, WISE UP since they eventually can see SOCIALISM does NOT work. Government CANNOT do everything for everybody without going BANKRUPT.

After the comedy of this primary, I hope that the Democratic party will see that this system isn’t working and try again! This has just about destroyed the party and if Howard Dean continues to lead our party, we are doomed!

I freatly appreciated Fox News at first I really didn’t like this channel but,it has been the only channel that has been “fair and balance”, to Hillary and you get your reporting of the facts right. I listened to cnn and msnbc tell about the meeting between Hillary and Barack and they got it wrong. Fox got it right. Neither cnn nor msnbc came on said they made a mistake. After Barack loses in the November because his campaign has tin ear, just like John Kerry, Ed Bradley, George McGovern, Michael Dukkakis. The country does want change but, what are we going to change to. Slogan are just that. Sorry, I just don’t like Obama. If Hillary hadn’t been in the campaign I have always like McCain. He just comes across as real, not above the fray.
Now, we got two men trying to tell women who we should vote for. Sorry, it is either McCain or not voting.

WOW!!! What a BAG of wind! I am SOOOOO glad I won’t have to listen to that Crap for the next 4 yrs. When she mentions how few times Democrats have held the oval office over the yrs, she then goes on and on and on with all the reasons they have not.

Most Democrats and other politicians (republicans) are full of “Very HOT AIR” and after living in the Washington D.C. area for 28 yrs. the only time I have seen any real work is when they are trying to feather their own nest or if it makes them look better than they know they really are.

Anyway, i.e. an example of their “MADNESS” yrs ago the congress legislates “Social Security” in that legislation, it clearly states that S.S. # are only to be used for that system. Use of S.S. # for anything else is a violation of this legislation!

Today you can not do anything with out that S.S. # banking, transportation, passport, gun purchase, driving license, car insurance, and the list goes on!!! yet the very legislative system that has tied” ALL OF US”!!!
To all the others, is 100% broken and bankrupt!!
All those “BAG OF WINDS” Know it and have done nothing about!

Oh by the way, the U.S. congress has their own social security system.

Hillary’s speech, giving her endorsement to Derek (why use Obama when we call her Hillary?), was so heartbreaking that I’ve decided to write her in on the ballot. I’ve voted Republican all my life, but John broke our contract with him when he hugged one too many liberal Democrats. So I hope my vote (and I will try to convince not only my 6 adult offspring, but also anyone else I talk to) will take one away from McCain, but also show my utter disgust with his record.

Give me a break. This “concession” speech was 80% about Hillary and only 20% about Obama. even when it’s not about her, it’s all about her. She even through in a not-so-subtle comment about getting the most popular votes. She is reprehensible.

I find it ironic that Senator Hillary Clinton could put her support behind Senator Barack Obama after all the remarks she has made about him. If she is nominated as his V.P. Senator Obama had better watch his back.

You Democrats need to think very hard before you vote for Senator Barack Obama. He claims to be a Christian, the Church that he was a member of for 20 years, http://www.tucc.org/about.htm leave me with doubts that they were true Christians. If it were truly a Christian Church, why would he leave the Church now that he is running for President? Could it be that he will become a Muslim as his father and some family members were? The DMC made a big mistake by electing Senator Barack Obama as their choice for President.

I will not vote for someone who I feel will sell us out to the Middle Eastern Muslims. Senator John McCain is not perfect, then I feel that he can lead this Country out of the problems that we are in.

It’s a shame that the DNC has managed to stick the weakest candidate in again.

Hillary is far superior to the other 2 candidates. I’ll write her in since I doubt I’ll be able to force myself to push the McCain button.
