I think he will win the Republicans by picking Hagel from Nebraska.

I think a good VP for Obama (or Sen Clinton, should she get the nomination) might be Bill Richardson, the Gov of New Mexico. Lots of international experience negotiating in North Korea, getting hostages released in Iraq and the like. John Edwards would probably make a really good Attorney General. Chuck Hagel might make a good Secretary of State or Secretary of Interior.

Mitt Romney has business knowledge. That doesn’t mean he can run an economy. He doesn’t have that immpresive of an record in Massachusetts. So I don’t know where your getting that he understands the economy. He was tested and didn’t do to well. Marc, Syria, and Israel are having indirect talks via Turkey. It has nothing to do with Obama being right about anything. Syria wants an appeasement deal from Israel. They want the Golan Heights, and a new relationship with the U.S. through Israel. Israel wants to separate Hezbollah, and Humas from Iran. If you want to give Obama credit for appeasement go ahead. Neither party is in the same location, so it`s still not the hand holding Obama favors. It`s still a mistake, because Syria is the one who will be rewarded. I find it odd, that you and Obama would be on the side of Syria, and Humas.

Israel will get Stabbed in the back on this deal. When you make concessions, to terrorist, in return for non-violence, that`s appeasement. Syria will gain ground, and Israel will get cheated. If you agree with the terms of this agreement, then you would be on the side of Syria, because they will come out on top. They are just trying to play nice, paving the way for talks with the U.S., just in case Obama gets the nod. When Obama lets his guard down, they will be right back in business with Iran, and the agreement will be null, and void. Israel will be deceived, and we will be obligated to back them up. These talks are just putting the cheese in the rat trap, Israel is the cheese, and we are the rat.

TRS, I still feel for those family that lost a love one to the Iraq war that should never have happened. With McCain in office because everybody who don’t want Obama in the White House, will regret it and I hope that he do win. How come the people in Isreal don’t have to purchase a home, the government gives them a home. Where do they get the money to give there people a home while we are having a housing crisis and our own Government won’t even help us.

How come McCain talks about being strong against our enemies yet he couldn’t even remember that Al Qaeda is our enemy.

Yes its extremely tragic that 4000+ have lost their lives, but we have to stay strong. This is not a video game, that can be won in a few minutes, this is life and war. It takes time.

Before you jump on me about having a family memeber in the service and I don’t know….FYI… My brother has served for 22+ years in the military. he served in the Gulf war and the war in Iraq. He is the recipent of the Bronze Star and the PURPLE HEART. Another inch with an RPG and he would not be here today. I also have a nephew who has served in multiple tours in Iraq and Afganistan, another nephew who left last summer for basic training, and my oldest son wants to join when he is out of school.

So I know the cost of war. The sacrifice, the stress… emotional and physical. I don’t want an apology I want people to have a backbone.

Its funny, my 12 year old son, can see the importance of protecting our country and the innocent, and so many can not see the forest because of the trees .

While one may find one or two people that feel that way about Jews, the FACT that Obama has the support of so many Islamic groups like Hamas & the PLO more than offset any by McCain. Ask any Israeli, they’ll tell you…it’s the Republicans that have their back. It’s the present Democrats that play patty-cake with extremist terrorists.

I am a Hillary supporter but I will be voting for McCain come November if BO is the Democratic Nominee. I saw LA Gov. Bobby Jindal on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. I really liked him. He was very personable, young and seems to have had a great track record so far in helping to rebuild LA. I would love to see McCain choose him.
