I shouldn’t have to tell my back ground but I’m a Veteran..My Dads a Veteran and His Dad… Not to mention They all served in the Major conflicks. I’m still in the the Reserves and my son is looking to continue in 2 years when he’s old enough.. So put up or shut up.

And for the Comment by ( Independent ) above did you read what you just posted? We Have never allowed drilling off the florida coast, some part of Alaska and i’m not too sure about wind power but the price of gas just went crazy in the last 4 years. So not doing all of those things hasn’t mattered in the last 50 years… ( the Bush Family ) have a lot of family and friends in the oil business. Exxon & Opec are making a tons of money and they don’t care about our families…Once Bush is out of office we will see gas prices lower and it will be because bush won’t be able to protect his buds…

When will our illustrious congress and the two great Democratic leaders we have with the House (Pelosi) and Senate (Reid) start taking some actions to reduce the cost of gas? We go and tell the OPEC countries that they need to increase their oil production levels … and they come back with why doesn’t America increase its production of oil … a good, question, why don’t we?

Answer. Our environmentalists, supported by our brillant Democratic congress, are preventing access to American oil. They prevented drilling in Alaska, no drilling off the coast of Florida (except for China), no drilling or wind power off of New Jersey (don’t want to ruin the view from the Parkway), no wind power off of Massachusetts, and on and on. Consequences of their stupidity … we pay $3 to $4 dollars per gallon for our gas. Wake up Pelosi, Wake up Reid … do something.

I think I’m with you! I’ve voted both sides in the past, but with the US in such bad shape and the GOP in control for so long I don’t see much reason to trust them to change anything. The House and Senate haven’t even been in Democratic hands for 2 years, so I don’t think they’ve had enough time to undo the GOP damage.

So if McCain wins the white house. Can someone tell me what his plan is to lower gas prices ,fix the housing issue, fight crime/gangs at home & the sorry war crisis?… I missed all that somewhere. I’ll be the first in line to vote for McCain if I just knew what he would do……And for the record I don’t vote DEM / GOP, black-white, female- male, or any other bias I vote to help my family… So this year I’m leaning towards ( Obama )

Someone please respond with a reason to change my vote…..

So Obama’s raising about TWICE what McSame is.

And the big difference is that Obama’s contributions are made up of everyday people, not big donors. They are 50% of $25 or below, and I think something like 92% of $100 or less.

Plenty of Republicans switching parties this time.
