Obama Returns to Iowa to “Bring Things Full Circle”

After enjoying some ice cream with his family on a beautiful Oregon day, Barack Obama took a few questions from his traveling press corps. The first question - why return to Iowa Tuesday?

“We thought it was a terrific way to kind of bring things full circle,” he said. “If Kentucky and Oregon go as we hope, then we think we will have a majority of pledged delegates at that point, and that’s a pretty signigicant mark,” he replied. Obama is expected to win Oregon, while Clinton will likely win by a healthy margin in Kentucky.

So will you hear a victory speech in Des Moines Tuesday night? Not exactly, according to the candidate. “I won’t be the nominee until we have enough, a combination of both pledged delegates and superdelegates to hit the mark.”

To become the Democratic nominee, a candidate needs to secure 2,026 delegates. Right now Obama is short of that mark by more than 100 delegates, but still leads Clinton.

Poor sad wingnuts. You have taken such pleasure in seeing silly old Rev Wright (not Obama) saying the same dumb things over and over again. There are all sorts of clips of McCain (himself, not associates) flip-flopping like crazy, totally contradicting himself. The Keating business will be gone over with the finest toothed comb, as will Cindy’s drug thieving and McCain’s bullying of the whistle-blower. If you want a sneak preview of what will be looped Rev Wright-like over the next few months, go to bravenewfilms.org, watch, and weep.

Years and years of Democratic control of House, Senate, Administration and judicial appointments. Oh boy - it is going to be GREAT!

Obama is ARROGANT!!
Why Iowa - what about KY - or WV - states he does not need. Guess he does not need those “working class” type votes.
How dare he even suggest he has won - let me know when either candidate reaches the magic number - AFTER the votes in FL & MI have been counted.
The nominee will be decided by the PEOPLE - not obama - or his group!

Hillary SUPPORTERS - YEA - Hillary will be our nominee on Tuesday after her BIG WIN in KY- watch her victory speech -
seem OK to ALL??? - carries the same weight as me saying so!

McCain’s past association with Keating will be blasted all over the airwaves in Obama political ads.

Immediately afterwards, Obama will announce that he is shocked that such advertisements were broadcast. He will apologize to McCain and a few persons in the Obama camp will resign for having let the ads run (sacrificial lambs by design).

Remember, right before condemning Hillary Clinton for her association with Bill Clinton, Obama stated that he was strongly against the concept of “guilt by association.”

The whole thing kind of reminds me of the movie, Casablanca. The Police Prefect says the he is “shocked” that gambling is going on in Rick’s Cafe. He then states that he is going to have to shut it down until further notice. Immediately afterwards, a waiter comes over and says to the Prefect, “Your Winnings, Sir.”

Obama is the person that should have heard the sermon today on adulter. We all know Obama has been unfaithful to his wife. He is on the down low with his assitant (Nick Colvin). Obama was on the down low with Larry Sinclair. It is just sickening that the media is in the tank for Obama when he really does have a lot of scandals brewing that will hurt our country.

Come-on Networks pick up of these truths and let the public know how many more scandals are out there on OBAMA the HOMO. WHERE ARE YOU AT DNC. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING SUPER-DELEGATES ALL THIS IS GOING TO HIT THE FAN BEFORE NOVEMBER.

Michelle Obama said in a interview that because Barack is a black man he could get shot going to the store.

And of course e all know that white men never get shot. Michelle Obama’s comments just shows how racial she thinks.

Why can’t clinton supporters deal with her having gotten beaten. She poorly managed her campaign because her sense of entitlement drove her to count her chickens before they were hatched. She’s headed up a filthy slash and burn, screw the party campaign, and it didn’t work. It is embarrassing that this country hasn’t had a woman president up to this point, but that doesn’t automatically mean that clinton is the woman for the job. And now you want to stay home or vote for McCain. You betray yourselves as the worst kind of americans and make clear why hillary appeals to you so. A bunch of spoiled school children cut from the same blindly destructive, narcissistic cloth.

So what if Obama is on the down low (I don’t believe it) Bill Clinton is an adulterer and Hillary is a KNOWN liar. Get over it, Obama won, even if you count FL and MI. When Bush won instead of Gore I didn’t see this much hate, why all the hate now?

i am still on the fence about him . i am just scared all the time now.

Hillary didn’t play by the rules when it came to FL. and MI., Obama did. What does that say to our children? That it’s OK to cheat when you are not getting your way. You Clinton supporters should be embarrassed that you think it’s OK for her to cry foul because she isn’t winning. She didn’t care about FL. and MI when she was winning now, all of a sudden it’s the most important thing in the world. GIMME ME A BREAK!

Even if she has the popular vote (according to Hillary’s math) it’s still unfair because a lot of states have not tallied all of their votes. She’s a cheater and a liar and the people that follow her are the ones drinking the koolaide and living in the twilight zone. Obama won and did what he was supposed to, now Clinton is moving the goal posts again, saying that it takes 2,209 delegates to win the nomination. Did the DNC make announce those new rules? No, Clinton did. NOW DO YOU SEE HOW DIVISIVE SHE IS? Hillary Clinton does not make the rules, the DNC does and no matter how you sliced it, she thinks she can do whatever she wants. I don’t want a president that is not a team player and cannot get along with everyone. Clinton is a bully and the worst kind of sore loser I’ve seen in a long time.

Comment by A Concerned Citizen

Let the women rage. Let them vote for McCain which is completely against their self interest (Roe will be overturned with the very first McCain appointment). Stupidity has its consequences.

I’m sorry but Clinton–like her husband–represents the politics of old. She ran a despicable campaign, absolutely Rovian in her effort to smear Obama. Whether it was race baiting, questioning his patriotism, intimating drug use, vacuous charges of plagiarism, references to non existent scandals, guilt by association or whatever, the Clinton campaign was disgusting. And her supporters turned a blind eye to it because they felt she was “entitled” to the nomination. What they absolutely detested when Karl Rove devised similar campaign strategies against Democrats somehow became acceptable when their candidate HRC was doing it.

Now in a fit of petulance, HRC supporters label Obama an empty vessel and threaten to support McCain but they forget the fact that her experience is thin–why else would she pad her resume? And quite frankly if it were not for the last name of her philandering husband Bill (notice how many of her supporters cite two for the price of one), she would be nowhere.

Now if I had a daughter, that would not be the lesson I’d want her to learn.

There will be a women President, just not HRC.

Comment by A Concerned Citizen

Hillary started with major advantages: a big pot of superdelegates, a big pot of money, and the Clinton name.

She lost, because she made a humongous error in thinking she’d wrap things up early, and then was not flexible enough to adapt her strategy and tactics to recover.

She blew the finances of her campaign, and due to a combination of that and poor strategy and tactics, was not able to be competitive in states with caucuses, which require a lot of organization in each state.

She began to self-destruct, making up the big clinkers about Bosnia and Northern Ireland, and repeatedly claiming “35 years of experience” qualifying her to be President, which was clearly incorrect, since it covered her entire adult life. This raised character issues that made her look unfit to be President.

Instead of campaigning as a Democrat, she borrowed the Rove playbook, and started trying to kneecap her opponent, doing her best to make him unelectable in the general, so that she could claim to be the more electable candidate.

The latter is when the calls for her to get the heck out of the campaign started. If she had run a civil campaign, she could have stayed in forever and the worse that would have happened would have been comparisons to Harold Stassen once she reached the mathematically can’t win point.

As to the Nightmare ticket, her behavior in the campaign has made that impossible.

She does not have the popular vote. Her calculations claiming that do not include at least some of the caucus states, and include zero votes for Obama in Michigan.

The responsibility for her implosion rests squarely in her lap.

Go, vote for McCain. Anyone who cares so little about the issues that really matter to this country and the world is not a Democrat anyway, and it speaks even more badly of your candidate that her supporters would, for example, value the lives of U.S. servicemen so cheaply that they would do so.

I have just returned home from the Nevada Democratic Convention in Reno. Hundreds of Hlliary delegates did not bother to show up. Because of that, Barack increased his delegation to the DNC convention from 13-12 to 14-11.

Bill showed up to give his pitch for the Mrs., but resigned himself to talking about party unity and only mentioned “electabillity” once and “Hilliary” twice. He looked saddend, expecting that “the lady” will soon sing.

There is a need for Hillary fans to soon get over it and work on stopping John McCain from extending the Bush years to 2012.

Clinton would have been the candidate if the voters knew of Obama’s associations and relationships as we know now….a most distreptable group of un-american, anti-american and true american grown terrorist coupled with black power….Ayers, Wright, Farrahkahn and cast of southside politicians. Well Iowa got what they wanted ….someone different and that is the best you can say about Obama.

Phony black friends ditch Clinton
By BILL MAXWELL
COLUMNIST

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton should be leery of ever trusting the word of another black person, especially the word of elected officials, celebrities and other elites. She most certainly should never again trust the word of black preachers.

Too many blacks have betrayed Clinton. They have been disloyal. They have lied to her, many to her face.

From the moment she entered public life after graduating from law school and before her opponent, Barack Obama, started to move up in the polls and won some major caucuses and primaries, Clinton worked with blacks and supported their causes. She was mostly popular among blacks nationwide and was treated as a trusted friend because she was a trusted friend.

There are millions of Clinton supporters and Obama’s whole disrespectful and insulting campaign towards Clinton is just the tip of the iceberg as to why we won’t vote for him. He’s a crook, he’s a liar, he has friends who are terrorists, and he and his wife are racists. All your whining can’t change reality. It’s a fact that a biased media which refuses to cover his numerous shortcomings and the deep pockets of the energy industry will probably get your candidate the nomination. But that doens’t mean he can win. I’m laughing at you. Not with you.

Barack Obama has been endorsed by Hamas.
Barack Obama got mad at President Bush after the president stated that he won’t talk to nations supporting terrorists without any pre-conditions. Obama attacked the president, and was very rude to the President’s Office. He always complain for being racist when him and his wife, and uncle Jeremiah Wright are the racists.
Obama is arrogant, and proud, insulted those praying Christians in Pensylvania, but I saw his picture during one of his campaign speeches with a background of a huge CRUCIFIX. Barack is a hypocrite on this.
Barack has no experience, except community youth organizer in Chicago, and 3 years at the Senate asking for EARMARKS (Porks), and voted as the most liberal among all the senators.
Barack’s CHANGE IS very dangerous because it is UNKNOWN. CHANGE FOR WHAT?, AND FOR WHOM?
Barack is physically fit and has a dark purple lips.

So who do I think is causing the destruction of the Democratic Party? I could go with a conspiracy theory and blame it on Republicans posing as Democrats but I won’t. I think I will place the blame upon the persons responsible and that would be the zealot followers of the Democratic candidates.

I feel so bad that we blame Bush for what congress and the house of reps has done to us. We have let the media tell us it is his fault that congress over spends and steals our taxes for their uses. It is them that make the laws, pass the bills and declare war. He can want it but they have to give it. I went and looked up all the bills in the houses now and most of them are shelfed until next year. They put important bills on hold year after year to do what? Make our president look bad. It is too sad. Then you hear the media make fun of Bushes speeches, yet Obama stands up there and stutters and splutters and they never point out how dumb he sounds. They are quick to accuse Bush of talking about Obama when he never said that. And we wonder why our president is where he is today. Shame on the media and us for listening to CNN, ABC, NBC, and all those other liberal leftest.
