Does Obama really think that comments such as “be nice to Clinton supporters” is really the way to win us over? It sounds like he is saying to put up a fake front and say anything to get the Clinton supporters vote. It won’t work. There are a large percentage of Clinton supporters who will not vote for Obama no matter what. His values and his associations are not what we want in the next President. Not only will I not vote for Obama, but I will vote for McCain. You get what you see in McCain (which is something you cannot say for Obama). I know that Obama wants everyone to think that McCain is another Bush, but he is so wrong. McCain has years of experience and was said to be the republican that all democrats loved. He may have a temper at times, but he is not a pansy like Obama. Where are your values Obama? To say you will have enough delegates to put you over the top? Last time I checked the rules, the super delegate votes are not solidified until August and they can change their mind. So Obama you can be as “nice” as you want, but it won’t change my mind and it won’t change my vote.

You Hill supporters are a trip. You would rather vote for a candidate that holds no similar positions with Hillary or not vote at all. You complain about Michigan and Florida but not about Hillary agreeing to the DNC rules. You have heard the interview in which she said she didn’t know why Michigan was holding the vote, since it wasn’t going to count? Of course she was in New Hampshire during that interview prior to the primary there and didn’t want to piss off the voters in that state. Obama has played by the rules and may be the nominee. The rules also provide for super delegates. If they don’t support Obama, they can give it to Hillary. That is also the rules. Should that happen Obama should accept the results and campaign for Hillary. the goal is to defeat the repubs, bottom line. Issues that Obama and Clinton agree on for the most part like healthcare, economic policy, the war in Iraq, etc. will be lost this season. Obama cannot win without Hillary supporters, but neither could Hillary win without Obama supporters. We either sink or swim together this election, no matter how much we can’t stand each other.

I was thinking about the machines and wondering if it would work to write her in, but I disagree on one point. I do not think it is like giving a vote to Obama.
