Not sure why Obama thinks he can win Michigan in the fall when he doesn’t think he can win it now against Hillary. The exact reason he won’t agree to a re-vote in Michigan for the Primary is he knows he will lose against Hillary. So he continues to have the lead unfairly.

Do you really want to give Hillary Clinton a pass in regards to her ignorantly racist supporters that you would never give to Obama in regards to Rev. Wright or Ron Paul in regards to Stormfront? And do you really want to say, as Hillary media proxy Paul Begala did, that a coalition that includes well-educated “eggheads” is somehow a bad thing?

Democrats used to promote education as a virtue to the point even of wanting to ridiculously overspend government dollars on it at every opportunity. But now a large part of the party obstinately insists that the educated are those that should be sneered at and ignored. In short, they have embraced the anti-intellectualism long present on the far right. And none of Hillary’s supporters seem to mind.

I don’t think this statement is as big a stretch as most people think. Obama would wim the vast majority of the Black vote in the Detroit area. Also, I can’t picture the working class whites voting for McCain just because Hillary lost the nomination.

Conversely, if Hillary somehow stole the nomination from Obama, I can picture Black voters staying home on election day. This would cost her Michigan, as well as some other swing states.

To make a long story short - Hillary needs a bigger fix to get the Black vote than Obama needs a fix to get the white working class vote.

I am a Democrat and would vote for either Hillary or Obama in the general election. There is no way I could stand at least 4 more years of Bush like politics. I read your responses and it makes me wonder if you are really democrats or you just hate obama. HE did not penalize FL or MI for voting early. You were both told of the consequences before you moved your vote up and you did it anyway. Now you want to blame Obama? Don’t cry now. Who knows what would have happened if both candidates had a chance to campaign in your states. The fundamental differences between Hillary and Barrack on the issues are very small compared to the differences between them and McCain. I am a Democrat and would vote for either Hillary or Obama in the general election. There is no way I could stand at least 4 more years of Bush like politics. I read your responses and it makes me wonder if you are really democrats or you just hate obama. HE did not penalize FL or MI for voting early. You were both told of the consequences before you moved your vote up and you did it anyway. Now you want to blame Obama? Don’t cry now. Who knows what would have happened if both candidates had a chance to campaign in your states. The fundamental differences between Hillary and Barrack on the issues are very small compared to the differences between them and McCain. When you say that you would rather put McCain in the White House before Obama, it makes me wonder if the color of his skin has anything to do with you wanting 4 more years of Republican politics rather than vote for a…..something to think about.

Obama had the opportunity to take the high road, to do the right thing, to fight for everyone’s right to vote even if it didn’t benefit him. Instead he took the low road and used his power to disenfranchise millions of Americans!

I’m voting for either Obama. Here are my Top 6 reasons why:
1) He’s black.
2) I want to pay more taxes and higher taxes.
3) I want the government to enact legislation that absolves me from the personal responsibilities associated with making my own way in life.
4) I want other people to pay for my misfortunes.
5) I want a global strategy of passivist isolationism and appeasement that will lead, ultimately, to a world war scenario as was the case with the presidencies of Woodrow Wilson (D), and Franklin Delano Roosevelt (D).
6) I want to continue with the energy strategy of buying from openly hostile government, thereby unnecessarily increasing the cost of fuels and transportation so goods and services cost more for the end user. As a bonus, select areas of America will remain undisturbed.

Well I hope Obama is not right but the way McCain is acting he is loosing Republican support daily. Those of us in Oregon and Washington who had to listen the last few days out here to his crapolla on the fake “global warming” plans to ruin our economy was nauseating.

Not as nauseating as Obama’s connections to every terrorist in the world and every corrupting pol in America. His getting funds from Moslem Extremists laundered through American Mosques and charities is sickening and by now you all know the laundry list, Obama, Odinga, Michelle, Ayers, Khalidi, Auchi, Rezko, Black Panthers, US Communist Party, PLO, Hamas etc. ad infinitum, so McCain is still (though a snarky old man) a better choice. At least he loves America (even “typical white people”) and is not like Obama–who says “I will stand with Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” and also, “I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance against my mother’s race” (that would be white–never before knew a mother could be of one race and her child of another).

Romney could have won Michigan hands down and would have presented a stark contrast to Obama on important issues like border and national security and the economy. Now we hear McCain wants Huckleberry Finn as VP. That might push Obama over the top. What a nasty choice we have this year.

Nevertheless, with the blacks voting Obama 90% because they say in interviews they “want someone who looks like them” what is good for the black goose is good for the white gander.

McCain must win to save the country so there can be another election in four years.

Unite! Vote White! (And pray for Romney for VP or too many white fiscal conservatives will just sit this one out).

Barack, at least while he was living in Indonesia, was raised as a muslim. But he left Islam behind. He was at best an agnostic during his teenage and young adult years. It was only after Harvard that he joined the church of Reverend Wright. But Barack did not join a Christian Church. He joined a church founded on the principle of black liberation. A theology that is the anti-thesis of mainstream Christianity. He was not taught, “in Christ there is no east or west, in Him no north or south.” To the contrary, he was taught and believed that there is a north/south split–a division between the white haves and the black have nots.

There is no denying Barack Obama is eager to put distance between himself and the likes of Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, and Malik Shabazz. But those gentlemen now know that they must hide their true feelings and understandings. They know that most Americans would not support the Barack Obama they know. But their rhetoric goes beyond seeking justice and equal rights for all black Americans. They embrace a theology that puts blacks above whites.

This is the disaster of Barack. Instead of transcending race, he has embraced and lived in the heart of a radical theology that preaches racial division and black dominance. I’ll stick with Martin Luther King. I want to be judged by the content of my character, not the color of my skin. Malik Shabazz certainly does not believe that. ..

Americans are, by and large, moderate to conservative when it comes right down to it.
Complaining about taxes and high prices, then voting for a liberal democrat, is nonsensical. They won’t do it.
When faced with the realization that a weakened national defense exposes not only us, but our civilized friendly allies and mutual economies to radical islam, they won’t be able to vote liberal democrat either.
More and higher taxation directly correlates to loss of personal liberty, while enriching those who did nothing for the enrichment - that’s called theft. Again, voting for a liberal democrat makes no sense here.
Take heart. When the democrats finish flogging themselves, and determine a nominee, the ensuing mono e mono campaign will reveal the undesirable national socialist nature of today’s democrat party.
If it’s Obama, well, he simply hasn’t the demographic base to win.
If it’s Clinton, she’ll be a more formidable opponent, but in essence she’s in the same political quadrant as Obama. She’s just a more effective deceiver.
I’m not a McCain fan, but there’s no way I’d vote myself a pay cut (higher taxes), a personal responsibility cut, and a security cut by voting for a liberal democrat.
