It appears that young Americans are looking for a change and are putting color/race, religion/beliefs, sex, they have went beyond looking at the past and looking to be united as one America aside and wanting change. Obama is young and is for change he is and "American". I am older and white (60 to be exact) I lived through the pass and did away with any prejudice that I had when I was young since that is how we were brought up to believe. I change because it was wrong and it is time for "ALL" to change and get it right. I do not believe in everything Obama says nor McCain or any of the others you must decide on the one you think will best serve "WE THE PEOPLE", and hopefully they will do the right thing. You also must get the right congress and senate or you still will not be able to accomplish anything. This is the USA and we should be able to vote as we wish with out someone condemning us for our choice. Republican or Democrat or what ever party. Race is a thing of the pass... Get it! The good LORD created us and loves us ALL, and like it or not we all came about from Adam and Ev (man and woman) so in one way or another we are all related. So instead of having all this bickering we should have one big family reunion right here in the USA. Be as one. Lets have a BBQ great food for all, a celebration of togetherness. No one will ever agree on the same issues, none of us will have the same thoughts. Diversity is good, difference opinions are good, looking different is good if we all thought the same and looked the same OH how boring it would be; so what about it? I will say one other thing in this great country of ours we should not see poor as we do today with the wealth of our great nation. I do believe that this county is blessed by helping all nations in need in the world but would think we should start in our own back yard now and have no more so called poor in our nation. Poverty should be a thing of the pass in the USA. I do not believe in hand outs but hard work. The system today is wrong if you are on welfare or some sort of aid and want to work you get docked for working and you are getting less instead of letting the people get their selves established back into the flow. I truly believe that the majority of people want to work and feel whole once again. If you have nothing good to say about someone then saying nothing at all. Hmmmm, well this is the way I see it.
