Obama Takes the Track
Eugene, OR–
Spectators at the University of Oregon’s, “Twilight Track Meet” got a surprise when Senator Barack Obama stopped by to shake hands, congratulate competitors, and throw out some T-shirts. He greeted hundreds as he walked up and down both sets of bleachers as stunned supporters hung down from the stands to get a glimpse or shake his hand. He also threw out T-shirts to the crowd in the stands—grinning as people caught the University of Oregon shirts.
As he made his way around the track, he congratulated Virginia Tech’s Tasmin Fanning who had just a won a race when Obama took the field. She ecstatically shook his hand and posed for a picture with the Democratic frontrunner. No political event would be complete without some baby kissing and as he walked around the track a mother handed their baby to the senator saying, “I’m an Obama mama.” The senator held the baby and quipped, “That’s your mama. I’m Obama.”
While walking back across the field he said to a supporter next to him, “Man, if I had my sneakers on I could run.” He then paused and added, “Run a lap that’s all I could make!”
A few steps later he broke into a jog while waving to screaming supporters. As Obama slowed down the booth announcer got on the microphone and told the crowd, “We’ll put down that race as ‘Did Not Finish’” Obama quipped, “I got my own race to win!”
Before leaving for a rally at the university he stopped to watch the 400-meter hurdles and he commented on how fast the runners were. A supporter standing near him asked him to jump a few. He joked that he would split his pants. He later added, “I’m going to stick to political races.”

Isn’t Obama going to campaign in West Virginia? Even if he can’t compete well, he should compete as well as he can. Not getting serious about West Virginia gives the appearance of taking the race for granted after he said that he wasn’t taking it for granted.
I think he will. He really needs to.
Barack has already been to a couple of places in West Virginia. I am sure he will be going back.

Recurring drug relapses affect one’s future.
It’s a medical condition that can affect one’s judgment at any time.
Knowing whether or not it’s permanent is only known in hindsight after the incidents recur.
A residual portion of the drug or different types of drugs can become embedded in one’s brain and “the damage done” can last indefinitely.
It’s not a distortion of judgment that needs to surface in leadership during crisis situations.
Then you have to include McCain!

This is very manipulative to say that one man being black will come into office and everyone be united.
