Obama on Clinton as Veep

Beaverton, OR—

Senator Barack Obama praised his rival for the Democratic nomination, Senator Hillary Clinton, but wouldn’t go so far as to say he would make her one half of the much talked about Democratic “dream-ticket:”

“I have not won this nomination yet - it would be presumptuous of me to suggest that she is going to be my running mate while we are still actively running. . .we do not have this nomination locked up - so we are still competing. “

Obama was responding to a question tossed to him at a small town hall at Vernier Software & Technology, which sells science equipment to schools. He jokingly asked the questioner if he was put up to the question by the press in the back of the room. He praised Clinton calling her “an extraordinary candidate, and an extraordinary public servant.” He also added that she would be on  any candidate’s “short list of vice-presidential candidates.”

He came close to conceding the upcoming primaries of West Virginia and Kentucky to his rival:

“She is going to do very well in West Virginia and Kentucky - she will win those states in all likelihood by significant margins - we feel like we have a pretty good shot here in Oregon.”
During his address he did not go after Clinton instead he went for Republican presumptive nominee John McCain hitting him on a variety of issues from supporting the Bush tax cuts to the gas tax holiday both McCain and Clinton have been touting and even his health care plan saying McCain is just recycling President Bush’s plan:

“We have a difference on health care. John McCain wants to continue a George Bush approach that only takes care of the healthy and the wealthy; that allows insurance companies to discriminate and deny coverage to those Americans who need it most.” Obama continued, “This is exactly the kind of approach that has left out tens of millions of Americans. And that is why you are struggling with rising costs. And it’s why we have failed to solve our health care crisis year after year after year.”

He spent most of his speech hitting John McCain and stressed, “there’s will be real differences on the ballot in November and that’s what elections should be about.”

The McCain campaign quickly responded attacking Obama on previously supporting a gas tax and his “judgment on the economy:”

“While experiencing an economic downturn, how does Barack Obama’s pledge to raise taxes on millions of hardworking families and small businesses show good judgment or an understanding of the American economy?  Whether it’s refusing to acknowledge the immediate gas price relief at the pump that he previously supported or his pledge to tax the budgets of Americans who are already stretched thin, Barack Obama shows a serious lack of judgment on the economy.”

Hubert Humphrey, George McGovern, Walter Mondale, Michael Dukakis, Al Gore (hanging chad), John Kerry, and Barack Obama. Notice the pattern? All losers! What is really funny, is that they sometimes vote in an attempt to reanimate John F. Kennedy… Democrats have lost 7 of the last 10 presidential election, with nomminees backed by educated affluent liberals, college students, and African Americans. The record speaks for itself! Seems to me the Democratic party has a flaw in its nomminating process.

Hillary Clinton does not need to be associated with Obama or any of his Anti-American friends and associates!
Hamas! Secret talks! Malley!
We don’t need a parallel government.
Pelosi, Kerry, Carter and Obama holding talks with our sworn enemies!
How dare they??????
If it was anyone else’s campaign holding talks with our sworn enemies, they’d be behind bars in a Fedreal prison.
Maybe we should all go secretly talk to the enemy, if it is ok for Obama’s camp to do so!
Make sense!!!
We have a chain of command for a reason! No renegades necessary!

How about if Senator Clinton followed President Ronald Reagans going from Democrat to Republican and was Senator McCains Vice President. That would be an unbeatable team.

I can’t believe the university accepted it as meeting their standards for a masters degree.

Now I know why the university is NOT providing access to it in their library … they have to be embarrassed.

The University must have had a very, very strong affirmative action program to accept that thesis as satisfying the requirements for graduating with a masters degree.

Michelle might have graduated from Princeton, but after reading that thesis, I am not impressed.
; nor am I impressed with Princeton if that is an example of what they accept for a masters thesis … really sad.

Now I know why Barak is trying to keep her quiet … it’s simple self preservation

I’m embarrassed for my harsh words and have decided that I am indeed, bitter and cynical. My candidate lost and I have to accept that. I will fully support and do fully support Obama. I know in my heart that he is the best candidate. My bitter feminist side just wanted to see a woman, any woman, even if it was the unscrupulous Hilllary, win the Whitehouse.

I repent of my past transgressions of name calling and being divisive.

I am not as intelligent as I like to let on - I am a poor middle class working woman who hates men.

But, I will put that aside for now and fully support my Democrat party nominee.

The next President of the United States - Mr. Obama.

Comment by the southern dem

Clinton should stay well away from any VP position. She will have to defend Obama and his extremely poor judgement with the Wright and Ayers issue. These are not just terrible associations but likely represent a true relationship reflecting Obama’s real leanings and background. One must remember that Obama had to get their approval from the 3 wise men(Ayers,Wright,Farrahkahn) of the southside of Chicago politics in order to proceed with an elected position. To think they would support anyone who they thought did not believe in their political model is extremely hard to believe. Hiliary may just shoot herself in the foot if she comes too close to Obama if she is going to ever attract the middle of the road voters.

In response to an earlier post about whether the thesis of Michelle was review…I did. What a pile of horse s**t. Even though the data requested from other black graduates did not agree with her views she believed that the association of these blacks with whites disturbed her and according to her changed these blacks character so they no longer supported the black culture. After reviewing this diatribe one must majorily question how she could ever be in the white house. If that ever happened the first people in the Lincoln would be Wright, Ayers, farrahkahn and all those who wish america harm.

Democrats have lost 7 of the last 10 presidential elections, with a strong possibility of being 8 of 11 after 2008 general election. All with Democratic nomminees backed by Educated Affluent White Lliberals, WhiteCollege Students, and African Americans..

Comment by TR

Serious Question:

Do you think Hillary should consider running on a John Mcain ticket.

He is a maverick, the republican party of old is not as popular as it once was, Hillary talks about a new type of outreach and bipartisanship with conservatives, she is running and getting support mostly due to her social conservative stands and personal connection on these values.

Even if you can’t understand why she would do it, imagine of McCain and Hillary decided why stop at talk of bipartisanship, but go much farther in a pioneering and open a new chapter in American politics.

Don;t you think the two together would be just unbeatable beloved by two huge bases of support, sometimes overlapping?

VERY SIMPLE: WE FINALLY HAD 3 CHOICES, 3 CANDIDATES:

1- A WAR HERO (GOP),

2- A WONDERFUL HARD WORKING, AMERICAN LOVING LADY, SEN CLINTON (DEM) and

3- An inexperienced unpatriotic Obama with terrorist friends (DEM).

Now, if you are a democrat VOTER who loves and respects America you choose Sen
Clinton, that is what her supoorters did we voted for Hillary because she is better
qualified and good for America. So why should we support a dangerous Obama if
she is not the nominee? WAKE UP PEOPLE, GET REAL!

1. No one has blown up any US buildings in the last 7 years, that was good (even with Ayers out there in the University of Chicago).

2. Those people who work and put some of their income into investments for their retirements so they don’t have to live off the government only had to donate 15% of their capital gains to the government.

3. Ophra increased her wealth to about $800 million dollars (helped by Bush Tax Plan).

Why are you saying he will be a lame duck? Could it be that ever since the 2006 elections when the Dems took over, they haven’t accomplished much of anything, so you feel the need to pin the blame on “George Bush?” Do you fear the Dems won’t accomplish anything in Congress for another four years if McCain gets in? Are you worried that your far left leaning agenda won’t get accomplished?

Your dream ticket wouldn’t be Obama and Howard Dean would it? Perhaps George Soros would be your pick for White House Chief of Staff?

of Obama as President. If that doesn’t speak volumes, what does? I agree that
he is getting Arab money. My friend said they send money to Muslim mosques around
the country, including Black Muslims (Farrakhan, eg.) and then the money is contributed
in the name of the members. That’s how
the source of the money is disguised. But the media has given him a free ride and
has put a lid on anything that detracts from his candidacy. My question is WHY?
Any thoughts on why the media is doing it?

OBAMA takes money from William Ayers - the unrepentent terrorist.
Here’s a picture of Ayer’s stomping on the American flag.

Obama and him are good pals!

You wrote “If you cared for your elders you would take the pld guy fishing and not put him through tha paces of an election. Yes I am crazy. But I don’t want for more years of nothing , McCain will be a lame duck president.”

Veto by Bush veto by Bush, hence Mcain dem. congress and senate Veto by Mcain, veto by Mccain. I don’t care about the far left agenda tahts just talk , the bottom line is the veto power Mcain will have .
My dream ticket would be myself and jon stewart. By the way .

The bottom line is they all have to work to gether for a common purpose. When was the last time you seen that out of washington other than corporate hand out’s really tell me when was any thing doen for the average American in washington.

Barack Obama’s disturbing associations with
a domestic terrorist (Ayers), to a prominent Palestinian advocate of suicide bombings
(Khalidi), a corrupt Iraqi billionaire (Auchi), a sleazy personal fundraiser and
mafioso (Rezko), and to his own genocidal maniac of a cousin from Kenya (Odinga),
for whom Obama led a “positive” campaign effort to achieve his “election” a few
years back. As many of us know, Obama’s camp has recently taken a defensive stance
and have dedicated countless hours to spread the word around the internet that these
issues are “irrelevant” to a Presidential campaign and that bringing them up are
thus a full exemplification of “dirty politics”.

There is a video half way. Check it out.
The Obama Dems don’t need white, blue collar workers or Latinos in the “New Democratic Party”, (not my words)!
It sounds like the “new Black Panthers”. They already have that organization. Now the Dems don’t need white, blue collor workers and Latinos.
