Clinton Loaned Campaign $6.4 Million
WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton personally loaned her campaign a total of $6.425 million in the last month to keep her campaign afloat while being massively outspent by Barack Obama.
Clinton gave herself $5 million on April 11th, nearly 2 weeks before her 9 point win in Pennsylvania. Though her campaign reported raising $10 million on the night of the Pennsylvania primary, Clinton also lent her campaign $1 million on May 1 and another $425,000 on May 5 — just a day before a big loss in North Carolina and close win in Indiana.
Clinton also loaned herself $5 million when funds were low before Super Tuesday, crediting that donation with saving her floundering campaign and prompting a flood of new donations from supporters who hadn’t known she was in need of cash.
Spokesman Mo Elleithee says the loan “demonstrates her commitment to the campaign, and makes sure we have the resources we need going forward to Puerto Rico.”

Hillary knows how to run the US economy. She’s learned how to borrow money and go into debt.
Let the pundits say whatever they want…
She just won 4 big primaries. Yeah, Obama won North Carolina, but out of the ten biggest states he has only won two- his state, Illinois, and North Carolina. She just won the state next door to his. I don’t care what anyone else says- that is HUGE.
The democratic party has some big fish to fry. I am in Florida, and let me tell you- we are pissed. The DNC has alienated 2 million democrats in one of the most important states in a general election.
Obama has upset many of his supporters here. He seems to discount the fact that hundreds of thousands of Floridians went out to the polls just to vote for HIM. He turns around and declares their vote doesn’t matter? Not a smart thing to do…
LET ME MAKE SOMETHING VERY CLEAR ABOUT FLORIDA.
As we all know, it is a swing state. As we all know, it is a state of utmost importance in a general election. The FLORIDA STATE LEGISLATURE, a REPUBLICAN MAJORITY, made the decision to move the primary up to January. This was NOT a decision made by the Florida Democratic party.
But the DNC has decided that 2 million democrats must incur a punishment for what republicans did. They have decided our vote doesn’t matter.
This is the dumbest thing the DNC could do right now, let me explain…I have a theory-
Charlie Crist. MODERATE, republican governor of Florida. EXTRAORDINARILY popular across party lines. I am a dem through and through- and I have to admit, even I like Crist.
The republicans have been very quiet throughout this whole process. Who will McCain’s VP be? I don’t mean to sound morbid, but the man, should he be elected, will be in office until he’s 79 years old…whoever winds up on the ticket with him will have to be considered as a potential president for the next 8 years.
McCain is from the midwest. Crist is from the southeast… It is a republican dream ticket.
Crist gets on that ticket, the Democratic Party is in big trouble. Mark me, Floridian Democrats will cross party lines if Hillary is not the nominee.
They HAVE to seat Florida’s delegates. They HAVE to count our votes. The DNC can’t afford to piss off Florida’s democrats. Simple as that.
Personally, I’d vote democrat no matter what. But a lot of dems here, at least people I have talked to, will vote McCain if she does not get the nomination. I have a hard time comprehending this rationale- but a lot of people will turn their back on the democratic party.
It is not just in Florida. Polls across the country are showing that Obama supporters are happy to vote either candidate in a general election. Her supporters aren’t. The DNC has to consider this.
A lot of the states that Obama has won will go Republican in a general election. I don’t know why the media is lending such credence to these wins. Clinton is winning all the keystone states- the swing states.
This is definitely not over. We have to mobilize behind her, work harder. As soon as I post this, I am going to make another $50 contribution. I am a 22 year old college student. I make $8 an hour. I have resorted to public transport because I can’t afford gas. But I have also decided that I can’t afford not to have Clinton in the White House.
My blood, sweat, tears, and meager donations are all I can offer- but I believe in Hillary Clinton. I believe in her so much that I will stand by her all the way to the end. Even If she doesn’t win, I know she won’t go silently into the night. That’s the kind of president I want in office. She’s the kind of candidate I am willing to fight for.
She can win this- and YES SHE WILL! She has braved the pundits, the insults, the vitriol spewed at her from all directions. Has she backed down? NO. Will we back down? NO!!!
I implore you, match my $50 donation right now. Clinton is the little engine that could- the little engine that WILL. Is she out of steam? NEVER. It’s a long hard trek up the hill, but I am behind her all the way to the White House.
In the face of such negativity and spin against her, Hillary is SHOWING THE COUNTRY & WORLD JUST HOW STRONG & DETERMINED SHE REALLY IS. W O W !
We need NO LESS IN A PRESIDENT. People need to know that this woman and her Supporters WILL NOT GIVE UP OR GIVE IN. THAT IS WHAT SHE WOULD FOR AMERICA—That is PRECISELY the kind of PRESIDENT WE NEED IN THESE TROUBLED ECONOMIC TIMES.
Women’s Voices, the Elderly’s Voices, and The Working Class Voices, and the Voters who got their Votes nullified will be heard, as long as Hillary stays in this RACE!
No other primary has even treated a candidate as badly as the DNC has treated Senator Clinton and many of us are not party loyalists. We are Clinton loyalists.
The DNC has taken my vote for granted - along with the votes of Florida and Michigan - and I will not be voting for just a party.
I WILL WRITE IN MY VOTE FOR HILLARY. I AM A FIGHTER TOO - just like my candidate.

Jimmy it’s not over. When we get to the convention we’ll see who who backs down. When those who have tried to steal this for Mr. Obama have to face us. You’ll see who has what it takes. The party can’t win without us. Hillary is the only honnorable person on our ticket we will not settle for anything less. Jimmy just why would you vote for someone with a dual citizenship US and Kenyan? Just where does his loyalties lie. You have no way to know. In his book he say if the winds change he will support his muslin brothers and he feels more comfortable with his Kenyan family. What does that mean to you? We supprot Hillary because at least she is qualified. Mr. Obama has not won a legitement election in his career yet this one is no different.

Barack got more votes, more delegates, even if you count FL and MI. If you give 0 popular votes in MI because he wasn’t on the ballot, he still has more popular vote. So he didn’t steal it. America doesn’t want the lying corrupt slime that is known as Hillary Clinton.

Oh and by the way, how does Hillary plan to get to the convention in Denver. Hitchhike? She will be completely broke by that time.
Her followers will keep her going. It’s the delegates responciblity to pick the best canidate. It doesn’t matter who they have indorsed they will change there minds when they have to face us in person. They will have no choice,

Do you actually believe what you are saying. If the answer is yes, then you have no grasp on reality. The super delegates aren’t going to change their minds just because you show up.
Asking Hillary to quit now is like telling a little league team they should just quit and walk away because you’d need a grand slam to win this thing. Women Never give up on their team!

Puerto Rico will be the last primary and Hillary Clintn will WIN BIG…so donate…donate…donate…..
Let’s make sure she has what she needs to finish the race…BIG!!!!!
She is the voice in America that has been silent for too long!!!!!
God Bless Hillary Clinton

Your analogy is incorrect. A better analogy would be to use the mercy rule that they have in little league. Once a team gets behind by 10 runs, the game is over. Well, Hillary is behind by 20 runs and it is time to shoot this horse.
It’s GREAT to see the Women of the USA uniting for Hillary. The men have messed things up….gonna take a Woman to straighten it all out. Take it All the way Hillary!!

Jim it has nothing to do with me. Hillary has 50% of this race. All polls show she has a better chance of winning in november than Mr. Obama. Thats what they have to concider. She will have plenty of cheerleaders. When being confronted in person it makes a lot of difference. There will be one last debate do you really think Mr Obama can hold his own without a telepromter? We want a fighter not a comedian or a clown. He doesn’t stand a chance.

Actually it is you who does not know much about sports. The greatest coaches of all time such as Vince Lombardi, Joe Torre, Red Auerbach.. all knew when to throw in the towel. At some point they realize the game is lost and the put in the second string. Hillary has lost, there are no miracles that save her. She needs to show some class something that she has yet to do this primary season.

I’ve got to admit I’m a bit confused with the sports analogies. the “slaughter rule” in Little League or the “Continious Clock” in HS football games when a team is 35 point behind is to protect the “esteem” of kids. Kids..NOT adults.
As for Vince Lombardi, I’m old enough to remember most games coached by Lombardi and I don’t remember any when he just “put the 2nd string in”…he ALWAYS pushed for the WIN.
There was no giving up on those Packer Teams.

In football, you don’t put in the second team. What they do, is just run out the clock when there is no hope. One of the reasons they do this is so that nobody gets needlessly injured.
Senator Clinton does not have money coming from the oil producing countries. It is okay for her to spend her own money and that is being honest of her. She has a serious commitment for this great country. I hope she continues the process and include Florida and Michigan. People there have the rights to have their votes counted. Compared to Obama who has done nothing for this country of ours, Senator Clinton is more than qualified to be the commander-in-chief. She and Senator McCain deserve to be the president and is ready to take over on day one.
Barack Obama was born some 40 plus years ago, has done nothing good for America, except being the most liberal and getting earmarks for 2 years at the senate. His ancestors are muslims and has done nothing good for America. Obama did not come from slave ancestors but from muslims fathers who lived in America for about 2 years. Yet his camp always claims racist. This word is so abused being used as tool to promote their aganda.
While the rest of the candidates, McCain, Senator Clinton are the true son and daughter of ancestors who sacrificed in building and protecting America. Their parents invested their lives, fortune, and sacrifices in building this great country of ours. Clinton and McCain are the true children of America. May God bless both of them.

Your words now certainly wouldn’t resonate up against christian values or american values which includes embracing this country as a land of immigrants.
