Last time I read Obama’s biography, that was this morning on Biography.com, he went to a prestigious private school in Hawaii from the age of 10 and then on to Occidental College in LA from whence to Columbia University in New York and Harvard Law School. Obama’s parents were both scholars. His father was a Ph.D. His mother, an Anthropologist. He grew up with his middle class grandparents in Hawaii.

5) I want to continue with the energy strategy of buying from openly hostile government, thereby unnecessarily increasing the cost of fuels and transportation, so goods and services cost more for the end user. I live in SD, one of the last states to get a say in this “election”. I would consider myself an Independant, although I do have strong conservative views on many subjects, but I do not limit myself to only voting for one party (yes I have voted for canidates from both parties in the past). I retired from the USAF last fall after PROUDLY serving for over 20 years so I don’t want to hear any comments about not knowing what the troops are going through.

I have been reading these posts for awhile now and have kept to myself, but after seeing an ad on TV last night I felt I should let other know what Sen O is trying with my state. I don’t think either Dem would be giving us in SD a second thought if they didn’t need us now. Anyway what I thought was really interesting is at the end of Sen O’s ad he is urging us to vote early, I wonder why? Is he afraid we will find out more about his problematic past? I don’t care for either Dem, Obama is a racist and Clinton is full of bs.

I will be voting for McCain this year, he is not my first choice (Rudy was my horse), but he is most definetly more presidential than either Dem. This is not a “lesser of three evils” vote like I have seen posted here, but a wise educated vote that is for keeping our country strong.

I have read most of the post and the main reason for that is to see how one would react to a statement Obama made. As you will see many have completely overlooked at the point Obama was trying to prove and most of you went back to attacking Obama and his Judgment. One thing I may add to those who question his judgment, are you really suggesting stating that Rev. Wright out weighs the WAR we are in. His judgment is questionable but when Clinton and McCain made one of the worst decisions in our History its ok, Sad (that in itself shows the double standard). I actually heard the comments both of the pastors who Endorsed McCain has said and it’s pretty offensive and divisive. I just wonder if they endorsed Obama and he accepted, how the media would run this like a chicken with its head cut off. The funny thing about the Rev. Wright Situation, Farrakhan, Ayers, the Elitist statement (which was taken out of context by the media and has a lot of truth to it) and etc, is that they are proving the very point many people were so offended by. I would disagree with that, Hillary touches on more subjects than Obama, for example, she is committed too. and has spoken about fixing the no child left behind laws, which I am sure many of you know nothing about, but is very important to all our childrens education, not just those with special needs, I have not heard the other candidates even mention it.

You are right, it was not the right thing to say but i was trying to state that from the way the election have been going so far, it seems that the Hillary and McCain have been getting the green pass on many flaws that are just as bad or even worse than the ones being used against Obama. Look at even How Rev. wright has been treated vs. Hagee. I dont agree with what right says but come on what hagee said is extremely offensive. Quite frankly the media has done what so far or even the association McCain has with him.
