GOATBOY
WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO REACH FOR AFRICANS SELLING OTHER AFRICANS? AFRICANS SOLD OTHER AFRICANS AFTER TRIBAL WARS FOR SERVITUDE NOT THE BRUTAL SLAVERY THAT WAS HEAPED UPON THE AFRICAN HEERE IN AMAERICA. AND YES THE CHINESE WERE ALSO MISTREATED BUT NOT BRUTALIZED AND CONSIDERED NOT HUMAN. ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT BLACK PEOPLE SHOULDN'T TALK ABOUT WHAT WAS DONE TO THEM IN THIS COUNTRY,ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY WERE NEVER EVEN GIVEN AN APOLOGY? IT SEEMS THAT WHITE PEOPL IN THIS COUNTRY HAS ABUSED EVERY RACE OTHER THAN WHITE PEOPLE AND YOU WANT TO TELL ME FORGET IT. THAT IS EXACTLY WHY THIS RIFF HASN'T BEEN HEALED BECAUSE YES WE ABUSE THOSE PEOPLE BUT SO WHAT!

did i miss my history class???
wasn’t it white people who put black people in slavery?
==================================
I think you missed your history class.
Many slaves were sold to whites by black Africans.
I don't hate anyone. I just disagree with BO's politics.
Does that make me a racist?
You really need to let that slave thing go....you have never met someone who was a slave nor have I met one who owned a slave.
The Chinese were treated like poo-poo in this country too. Why do they excel in science and medicine?
Native Americans are probably the only ones in the US with a legitimate gripe anymore, and that one is losing steam too.

all this racism that is spewing out is just proving what rev wright said was true.
not one of you can prove 1 thing that rev wright said that wasn't true.
obama is trying to make america become closer to what it claims it is. that is a job for all of us americans yet you reject that and can only see through the eyes of hatred. what did black people ever do to you that you hate them so much? if you hate them then i know you hate jesus. jesus says what you do to the least of them you do to me!!

Barak Obama-
from Chicago
_____________________________________________________
From "DREAMS OF MY FATHER" book By Barack Obama;

Racist comment #1:
From “Dreams of My Father.” page 229,
“THERE WERE NO CIGAR CHOMPING CRACKERS LIKE BULL CONNOR OUT THERE.” The
use of “cracker” was unnecessary and salacious.

Racist comment #2:
From Dreams Of My Father;
I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY
AGAINST MY MOTHER’S RACE”. =Gee, who wouldn’t after sitting for 20 years
listening to hate in that alleged church.

Racist comment #3:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“The emotion between the races could never be pure….. THE OTHER RACE (WHITE)
WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT: MENACING, ALIEN AND APART”

Racist comment #4:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own.
IT WAS INTO MY FATHER’S IMAGE , THE BLACK MAN, THE SON OF AFRICA, THAT I’D
PACKED ALL THE ATTRIBUTES I SOUGHT IN MYSELF.

Racist comment #5:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“That hate hadn't gone away,” he wrote, blaming white people,- some
cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless
image of a system claiming power over our lives.”

Racist comment #6:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it
came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying
close together, traveling in packs,” he wrote. “It remained necessary to
prove which side you were on, TO SHOW YOUR LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES,
TO STRIKE OUT, and name names”

Racist comment #7:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I
began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites”

Racist comment #8:
From Dreams Of My Father;
After graduating from college, Obama eventually went to Chicago to interview
for a job as a community organizer. His racial attitudes came into play as he
sized up the man who would become his boss. “There was something about him
that made me wary,” Obama wrote. “A little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.”

Racist comment #9:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more
politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist
professors and structural feminists.”

Racist comment #10:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“To admit our doubt and confusion to whites, to open up our psyches to general
examination by those who had caused so much of the damage in the first place,
seemed ludicrous, itself an expression of self-hatred,” he wrote.

Racist comment #11:
From Dreams Of My Father;
Obama’s racial suspicions were not always limited to whites. For example, after
making his first visit to Kenya, he wrote of being disappointed to learn that his
paternal grandfather had been a servant to rich whites. He wrote in “Dreams” that
the revelation caused “ugly words to flash across my mind. Uncle Tom. Collaborator.
House n_gger.”

Racist comment #12:
From Dreams Of My Father;
yet after college, he once fell in love with a white woman, only to push her away when
he concluded he would have to assimilate into her world, not the other way around.

Racist comment #13:
From Dreams Of My Father;
“I learned to slip back and forth between my black and white worlds,” he wrote in
“Dreams.” “One of those tricks I had learned: People were satisfied so long as you were
courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied; they were
relieved — such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn't
seem angry all the time.”

Racist comment #14:
From Dreams Of My Father;
Said his grandmother is a "typical white person" who has fears about black men.

Traitorous comment#1: From ‘The Audacity Of Hope,
“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an
ugly direction.”

Traitorous comment#2
“As I’ve said about the flag pin, I don’t want to be perceived as taking sides,”
Obama said. “There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a
symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know,
the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial
and less bellicose. I like the song ‘I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.’ If that were
our anthem, then I might salute it.”

"I can no more disown him (Wright) than I can my white grandmother - a woman who helped
raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as
she loves anything in this world".

"Now, Mr. Ayres is a 60 plus year old individual who lives in my neighborhood, who did
something that I deplore 40 years ago when I was six or seven years old. By the time I
met him, he was a professor of education at the University of Illinois". "We served on a
board together that had Republicans, bankers, lawyers, focused on education, who worked
for Mayor Daley".

=====================================================
Michelle Obama-
from Chicago
_____________________________________________________

Michelle Obama's thesis ... is unavailable until Nov. 5, 2008, at the Princeton library.
(not until after nomination, wonder why?)

Racist comment #1:
Though she came from a black working-class neighborhood in Chicago, she writes that
"my experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my 'blackness' than ever before."

Racist comment #2:
"There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community
and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost."

Racist comment #3:
"Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater
to the needs of the white students comprising the bulk of their enrollments."

Racist comment #4:
She further suggests that even if she assimilates into white society after Princeton,
she will "remain on the periphery of society: never becoming a full participant."

Racist comment #5:
"Blacks must join in solidarity to combat a White opressor."

Traitorous comment#1:
"For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels
like hope is finally making a comeback,"
