People will start donating to McCain in larger numbers soon. Right now, he doesn’t need donations because the Democrats are spend vast fortunes battling each other. McCain gets as much free press as he needs and is happy to stay out of the press the rest of the time. This looks exactly like his campaign to win the nomination. He is just hanging back, getting grassroots support and then when the time is right he will burst onto the scene and make a big splash. The media wants you to think he doesn’t have a chance but the latest Rasmussen polls show him beating Obama by 2% in the popular vote. That’s not much now but he has been trailing Obama for a while.

The irony is that Hillary is polling better now than either McCain or Obama. It’s too little too late but it’ll keep her on the attack. I will vote for McCain this fall but I have been donating to Hillary this spring. Not because I want her in the White House but because I don’t want Barack to be there and the only way to keep him out is to force the media to vet him. It’s being done and it’s going well.

We gave him the money we would have given the Dems. They are talking about seating our delegates after the nominee is chosen and then not seating according to our votes. Al Sharpton with his rallys and Obama with his lobbys have changed our feelings about the Dems. They don’t walk like they talk. One election it’s count every vote and the next your whole darn state doesn’t count. The Republicans at least counted half and used popular vote. The DNC has given us to McCain.

I’m a McCain girl, but I will say that Hillary’s performance on O’Reilly last night was impressive. Her voice has changed–not that harsh tome. He face was lively and engaged. Her makeup wasn’t even very good, but for once I thought that she could be a president that could at least keep the country together for another four years.

If the Rezko trial is allowed to go to it’s natural conviction of Rezko, Obama and the Governor of Illinois will be disgraced if not in prison.

Obama also said in his own book “I will stand with Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” Great declaration for a man who wants to be president when Islam and Muslims ARE the enemy!

His hatred of white people (that would be me and a lot of you) is palpable. We can’t have a president that harbors hatred for the majority of Americans. In his own words, “I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance against my mother’s race.” How can one have a mother with a race that isn’t your own? This guy just wants to hate!!!

I did not - could not - justifiably vote for GWB in the last election. I’m glad that John McCain is running - he is a man of integrity who has restored my faith in the American political system. After reading “Faith of My Fathers”, I was impressed by his courage and valor. His Worth the Fighting For seriously made him one of my top heroes. If you support him and haven’t read it, go read it now; it will make you respect him even more as a person AND give you valuable talking points for the months leading up to November. If you don’t support him and haven’t read it, read it so you know what you’re talking about (it will probably convince you to vote for him!). Marcy, I’m not a medium, or anything like that, but I have had a deep fear inside every since I heard about that man. I think we are in for real hard times. I think he will win, unless Democrats switch over to Republican, and some people have been democrats all their lives and it would be hard for them to change now, but I do know some that will. I do have a feeling Flordia and Michigan will though. The leaders who told them to vote early, should be the ones to pay. Anyone caring about their country want to vote. If any state has their election dated as a certain time and day, Most ordinary people wouldn’t say I wont vote, they would think it is ok since the polls are open.

As someone who is a relative newby in politics, I was elected as a delegate from my county to attend the Washington State Convention the end of this month. Even though Romney had suspended by the time my state had its caucus and primaries, I went anyway to “try to force McCain to be more conservative.”

I have not given up on that goal. However, as I watch the Democrats nearly implode over their prolonged battle (and it doesn’t help with the lack of character for both their candidates), I just wanted to make sure that all conservatives stay involved in the process.

Just google Ron Paul Nevada Missouri convention (or anything similar- this site won’t let me post others) and check out things like:

It’s not just experience, it’s seasoning. Obama has neither.

I still think McCain is the most ethical candidate, with the most integrity and courage. If you’ve read Worth the Fighting For by John McCain (ebook) you know what I’m talking about… parts of the book made me cry. Faith of My Fathers was also amazing… I’ve been recommending these books to anyone who doesn’t realize how truly amazing and inspiring McCain is.

Obama is far left and if that don’t help McCain I don’t know what will..Go McCain!
