Obama Calls it Quits with Former Pastor Jeremiah Wright

Voters don’t often bring up Jeremiah Wright at Barack Obama’s events, but today one did. “I was sick to death of the sound bites of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, “ a woman commented at a town hall meeting in Winston-Salem, NC. In response, Obama would only say on the matter, “I’m going to be having a big press conference afterwards to talk about this so I don’t want to distract from this issue.”

True to his word, following the event, Obama took the podium in front of members of the press corps. “I have spent my entire adult life trying to bridge the gap between different kinds of people. That’s in my DNA, trying to promote mutual understanding to insist that we all share common hopes and common dreams as Americans and as human beings. That’s who I am. That’s what I believe. That’s what this campaign has been about,” he began. “I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened over the spectacle that we saw yesterday,” he said of his former pastor’s engagement at the National Press Club Monday.

Following the Press Club event yesterday, Obama held a hastily arranged media avail in front of his waiting plane on a North Carolina tarmac, where he reiterated his previous opposition to his former pastor’s statements. But that was before he read the transcript or watched Wright’s defiant performance.

Today, for nearly 30 minutes, the candidate addressed the deeply personal matter that has become a very public issue in this race, using his strongest language yet and made it clear that his 20-year relationship with the man he once likened to a “crazy uncle” was no longer going to be part of the family. Today, for the first time, he admitted, “There’s been great damage. It may have been unintentional on his part, but you know I do not see that relationship being the same after this.”

While Obama has previously defended Wright for the snippets of audio that were looped on television as painting a “caricature” of the pastor, today Obama did not excuse him. “Yesterday I think he caricatured himself, and that was as I said, that made me angry but also made me sad,” he said. “There wasn’t anything constructive out of yesterday. All it was was a bunch of rants that that aren’t grounded in truth.”

Wright’s appearance at the Press Club seems to be the last straw for Obama. “I’ve known Rev. Wright for almost 20 years. The person I saw yesterday was not the person that I met 20 years ago. His comments were not only divisive and destructive, but I believe that they end up giving comfort to those who prey on hate and I believe that they do not portray accurately the perspective of the black church. They certainly don’t portray accurately my values and beliefs and if Rev Wright thinks that’s political posturing, as he put it, then he doesn’t know me very well and based on his remarks yesterday, well I may not know him as well as I thought either,” he said.

When asked if he would continue to be a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Obama acknowledged his relationship with his church had been strained as a result of the spectacle that’s been a result of Wright’s comments. “When I go church it’s not for spectacle, it’s to pray and to find to find a stronger sense of faith, it’s not to posture politically. It’s not to hear things that violate my core beliefs and so you know and I certain don’t want to provide a distraction to those who are worshipping at Trinity. As of this point I’m a member. I haven’t had a discussion with Reverend [Otis] Moss (the current minister) about it so I can’t tell you how he’s reacting and how he’s responding.”

“I can no more disown him than I could disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I could my “white” grandmother.”

I watched his ENTIRE speech at the press club, as well as the question and answer part that followed. In my opinion, he is a very scary man. First off, I thought he totally disrespected the “typcial white” girl that was reading off the questions. Anyway, he made many many many (did I say many?) unbelieveable statements. One that sticks with me is what he said about Farrakhan being the most important person in the 20th & 21st century…he went on to say he (Farrahkan) didn’t put him (Wright) in chains, make him a slave, and didn’t make him black. I mean, seriously, there is something wrong with this man. I have lost all respect for Obama over just this issue. I cannot, just cannot, overlook him staying in that church for 20 years, taking his KIDS to that church to learn this hatered. I cannot overlook him calling him his mentor. Most importantly, I can no longer disassociate Obama from Wright. I am convinced they are one of the same.

I just don’t understand how the African-American community expects racism to improve when they fill their hearts and heads with this kind of hatered. This type of preaching is NOT taught in any church I have ever gone to. I could NEVER, NEVER, NEVER (did I say never?) attend a church for one day, let alone 20 years, that preached such hatered. When you look at the polls, it is apparent that “typical white” people are more than willing to vote for an African-American…what is this telling the African-American community? This is what you should be listening to, not the likes of Rev. Wright.

One thing Rev. Wright was “right” on, is that Barack Obama is just a politican.

What do all of you Obama sympathizers have to say now after Obama himself admits, after being forced to, that his Pastor is nuts and out of touch. You were all crying out that the conservatives were showing only “snippets” and “film clips were being taken out of context”……..well, once again, we are not so stupid on this board are we?

Today, Obama threw his mentor-pastor under the bus. He will say or do anything to get what he wants. Obama is a typical politician and will say what folks want to hear.

A few weeks ago, Obama threw his typical white grandmother under the bus, trying to protect Jeremiah Wright. At that time, he said, “I can no more disown the man, than disown the black community”. This tells us that he didn’t “disagree” with Wright. That’s not surprising since he had a 20-year relationship with Wright and kept attending the church.

Obama has been so deeply rooted in Wright that he could never serve ALL the people of America. Don’t forget his wife’s anti-American comments and his ties to Rezko, Ayers, Farrakhan, Sinclair and many others.

VOTE HILLARY 2008!

Today Obama has proven that he belongs in the gutter of the South Chicago slums with the other slim balls who come from Chicago. Heavens, his own kind cannot trust him now. His only base are the black voters and it’s going to be very interesting if the black voters show that they are smart enough to walk away from their own “turn coat”. It’s now the blacks eating the blacks. Certainly not good for race relations in America….wouldn’t you say?

Comment by Take action against high fuel prices now

Obama, Clinton, and McCain are getting alot of questions about high gasoline prices.

TV news people are talking about possible $4/gallon gas this summer.

Environmental extremism has alot to do with these high prices.

Global Warming is a hoax and a false religion the roots of which come from some liberal political groups

hatred of capitalism and freedom and modern life as we know it for polluting the world and the

atmosphere and a false belief that this is causing worldwide climate change.

Most rational minded scholars, scientists and meteorologists do not share this radical politically motivated

view of climate change and make a convincing scientific argument against it.

Lawsuits filed by so-called environmentalists against every effort by energy providers to bring

fuel to market have driven up consumer prices to record levels and will go even higher.

Please understand that you can combat this trend by becoming educated on this subject and demand

that politicians denounce Global Warming and put a stop to dangerous environmental extremism

and environmental lawsuits against energy providers. Do a Google search on Global Warming Debunked

to get started. Write letters to your school board and let them know you don’t want your children

indoctrinated with only one side of the global warming debate. Democrats attack energy providers

for making a profit instead of admitting their own extreme and false environmental ideology is

the true cause of todays high costs of doing business. Democrats are against oil, natural gas,

coal, and nuclear energy development in our own country. Make no mistake about it, Democrats

are enemies of energy producers and the buck stops at their desks for our current economic situation.

Please keep this and the price of your fuel in mind when voting this November.

What cracks me up, is how “divided” the black community is on the Rev. Wright issue. I have been watching Fox News and they have had black preachers, black professors, and black commenators on their shows and almost everyone of them (except for 1) defended Rev. Wright. Now Obama has denounced Rev. Wright and said his words are hatered. All of the people Greta had on her show last night defended Rev. Wright. They all say the “white” people don’t understand the “black” church…well, it appears to me the black community is very divided on this Rev. Wright issue as well.

A glaring feature of Obama’s speech today was that he singled out Wright’s assertion that Obama is distancing himself for political purposes…to get elected. Obama’s speech today (particularly the timing and his reluctance to offer anything resembling it in the past)is a good argument that Wright…was right about Obama.

I think this speech will simply comfort Obama’s supporters and make undecideds and conservatives believe Obama is indecisive and a questionable candidate.

Comment by sp

Don’t think this will help the questions about his judgement and leadership…I hope he gets the dem’s nod, he is the weaker candidate.

SP…..I have agreed with your thoughts for a while….If BO is the nominee, many unhappy Hillbilly supporters will defect….No such like the other way around

Comment by bigtex

Is it possible that Wright is invested in Obama’s defeat? A presidential victory for Obama would render many of Wright’s teachings as moot.

Comment by sp

I think that maybe it is more likely that the “Wright tour” was a convenient way for BO to distance himself stongly…we will know if the Rev does not fire back.

“What I value most about Pastor Wright is not his day-to-day political advice,” Obama said. “He’s much more of a sounding board for me to make sure that I am speaking as truthfully about what I believe as possible and that I’m not losing myself in some of the hype and hoopla and stress that’s involved in national politics.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Today:

He (Obama) disputed characterizations of Wright as his mentor, saying: “He was never my spiritual adviser, he was never my spiritual mentor — he was my pastor.”

He (Obama)continued, “I want to use this press conference to make people absolutely clear that obviously whatever relationship I had with Reverend Wright has changed as a consequence of this. I don’t think that he showed much concern for me.”

… suggested that Obama only distanced himself from Wright out of political posturing.

Obama said he was particularly “angered” by that suggestion.

“If Reverend Wright thinks that that’s political posturing, as he put it, then he doesn’t know me very well — based on his remarks yesterday I may not know him as well as I thought either,” Obama said.

Oh yeah Barack…we believe you.

Comment by Gnocchi

Obama says again and again in his speech that until yesterday he didn’t know Wright as he (Wirght) currently is. Well, many people certainly have got an idea about Wright after watching just a few videos on YouTube in March. Obama didn’t got that for 20 years. Until yesterday. And today he admits that people are right about Wright. Does that say enough about Obama’s judging ability?

Comment by Patty

If you people cant see that this is all a setup then …MAN!!!! Some of you really need to stay away from the KOOL-AID!!!! Its pretty obvious that since Axelrod set up the Wright speeches this past week that it should also be pretty friggen obvious why!! So Obama can make himself look like he is not Anti American like the pastor is. He is deliberatly throwing the pastor under the bus just to make himself look good. None of Obamas speaches worked well with the public so they set this whole thing up. PEOPLE.. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!!!!

How can Obama and his family ever show his face in that church again? They are going to hate him!

Comment by Greg C.

I firmly believe Rev Wright is purposely doing this not to crater Obama (that’s illogical), rather, I believe this is a ploy to let Obama “get it right” the second go around. Give Obama the opportunity to say that Wright’s views which he says he never agreed with (play along with me now), that the latest rants are just too extreme that he has to now declare a divorce from Rev. Wright and the church that still is very much a Rev. Wright institution of bigotry conceived out of black racism toward America and its so-called white institutions.

Yes, I now believe that this whole saga is not just Rev. Wright trying to stroke his own ego through self-induced crucifixion as he would portray, rather a convenient ploy to allow himself to be sacrificed in order to let Obama come clean since Obama knows this issue will sink his ship.

Reality is Rev. Wright and Obama can play these games but Americans are clued into his game of deception.

Obama is a wolf in lamb’s clothing and he will do and say anything to get elected.

I wonder how long it will take Obama to realize that you can’t appease terrorists…if it took him 20 years and public outrage, and the loss of support politically to confront” The Pastor Disastor”…He lied today he said Wright was not his ” Mentor”, was not his “Spirtual Advisor”, he completely contradicts what he said previously. I agree with other posts…Obama is the typical politician who will say anything to get elected.

There is no way that I believe Wright has all of sudden had these radical views and opinions, his hatred is deep seeded and his beliefs were well known to Obama..and if we are to believe he didn’t know until now no way. People don’t change overnight…then how the Heck can anyone trust him with the National Security of our Country????

I love Penny’s response…I agree wholeheartedly. Being a black person, I feel in touch with the black community;however, Jeremiah wright, Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, et al. are idiots and they do not represent the ENTIRE black community. What’s important about their voices is that it lets society know that there are some very angry and disillusioned individuals out there, that are willing to destroy communities and individuals to further their racist, segregationist agendas.

All his anger and outrage and posturing are alittle late. Reverend Wright is a nasty distraction to the real issues of this campaign. It has hurt Obama but much more important Obama’s own extreme liberal bias is hurting Obama. His own votes on issues of importance to the survival of this country are hurting Obama… AND THEY SHOULD HURT HIM.

The big questions that he and Hillary keep asking… What about health care and our schools and on and on. These are issues of big government verses private sector. Experience should have taught us the Socialism DOES NOT WORK. If we could get the Democrat controlled Congress to LIMIT the role of government and free the entrepreneurial spirit of this nation… encouraging reward for innovation and putting free enterprise back in control of the economy where it belongs we could eradicate this recession… AND IT IS a recession… in record time.

Big government isn’t the only problem. What ever happened to HONOR and patriotism. Why do the Secularists think that removing God from the public discourse improves anything? This country was established by Christians and the Constitution set up to operate based on the assumption of a moral and upright constituency. You cannot legislate righteousness. If the majority of people prefer to be indolent and lazy and have the government “take care of them” then we will have chaos. Ayn Rand will have proven to be absolutely correct in her thesis… Atlas will Shrug.

TO MY FELLOW AMERICANS,

WATCH OBAMA VS. WIGHT Jr - A DRAMA (SCRIPTED) WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!

PREVIOUSLY - BARRACK OBAMA HAS FOUND TWO WORDS - “FORMER PASTOR” W/C ARE GOOD
EXCUSE WHENEVER HE ADDRESS NEWS MEDIA TO DEFEND HIS ASSOCIATIONS WITH
THIS RACIST JEREMIAH WRIGHT Jr…

THIS RACIST PASTOR GAVE US A CLUE ABOUT OBAMA WHEN HE SAID:
“AS A POLITICIAN, OBAMA WILL ALWAYS SPEAK AS POLITICIAN FOR ELECTABILTY SAKE…”

FOR THE LAST MONTH WE CAN NOTICE THESE TWO WORDS “FORMER PASTOR” EVERY TIME HE WILL COMMENT ABOUT HIS ASSOCIATION TO JEREMIAH WRIGHT Jr. FOR 20 YRS.
- BUT WILL NEVER DISOWN HIM…

ONE POET SAID: “OUR PAST WILL ALWAYS BE PART OF OUR FUTURE”…

BY NOT DISOWNING THIS “FORMER PASTOR” MEANS HE IS STILL PART OF HIM…

HERE ARE OBAMA’S WORDS AS OF TODAY :

REMEMBER - “OBAMA SPEAK LIKE A POLITICIAN!!” SEE IF HE WILL DISOWN HIM???

“Moving forward, Reverend Wright does not speak for me, he does not speak for my campaign,” he said, adding “I cannot prevent him from continuing to make these outrageous remarks.”

He continued, “I want to use this press conference to make people absolutely clear that obviously whatever relationship I had with Reverend Wright has changed as a consequence of this. I don’t think that he showed much concern for me.”

“What Reverend Wright said yesterday directly contradicts everything that I have done during my life,” he said.

Democratic strategist Steve Murphy told FOX News that Obama’s statements Tuesday should play a positive effect on his campaign. (”SPEAK LIKE A POLITICIAN” & “HOPE OF A POLITICIAN”

“People are going to say that Barack Obama should have done this a long time ago, but what’s important in a political campaign is that you have done the right thing, and I think most Americans would agree that Barack Obama now has done that,” -”SPEAK LIKE A POLITICIAN”.. he said.

HAVE YOU READ AND HEARD IF OBAMA DISOWN MR. JEREMIAH WRIGHT Jr.???

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

- OBAMA WILL SPEAK LIKE A POLITICIAN AND TOLD WRIGHT ABOUT THIS BEFORE

APEARING TO NEWS MEDIA… WHAT NEXT AFTER ELECTION??? WE DON’T KNOW!!!!

AMERICANS SHOULD BE WARNED - “IF OBAMA BECOMES A PRESIDENT ?????”

THIS THE “DAY OF RECKONING” FOR THE BLACK PEOPLE WHO KEEP PROPAGATING THE
BLACK NEGATIVE HISTORY IN THE AMERICAN HISTORY TO GIVE REASONS OR
ENOUGH JUSTIFICATIONS TO MAKE WHITE PEOPLE SUFFER WHAT THEY SUFFERED.

“THEY ARE NOW EVEN THREATENING THAT IF OBAMA LOST THE DEMORATIC NOMINATION
THERE WILL BE CHAOS WHICH IS WORST THAN WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE…”

“THE ONLY SOLUTION IS IF OBAMA WILL LOSE THE REMAINING PRIMARIES TO VOID
THEIR ARGUMENT THAT OBAMA WON THE MOST DELEGATES AND THE POPULAR VOTES…”

ALL AMERICANS SHOULD UNITE TO STOP THIS PLAN OF THE FAR LEFT WING LIBERAL WHICH ARE SUPPORTED BY SOME TERRORIST GROUP TO DESTROY AMERICA…

AMERICAN HATERS:
“FARRACKHAN”
“W. AYERS”
“WRIGHT Jr.”
“HAMAS GROUP”
“ARAB EXTREMISTS GROUP”
“MUSLIM EXTREMISTS GROUP”
“MICHELLE OBAMA”
“AND MORE WHO DON’T WANT TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES TO PROTECT OBAMA’S WIN!!!”

“DON’T BE FOOLED BY THIS MAN” - HE WILL SAY THINGS AS POLITICIAN FOR HIS

ELECTABILITY SAKE… AS TOLD BY HIS OWN MENTOR J. WRIGHT Jr.

“AMERICA WAKE-UP”

VOTE SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON!!! AS PRESIDENT OF THE “UNITED” STATES OF AMERICA!!!

Comment by Mr. J

Well better late than never. But if he is this slow of a learner he’s not fit for vp either. If it took 20 years to get it 8 years wont be enough. At least the rest of the primaies can get it right. Let the primaries go on. Its your turn now.

How convenient…

What it seems to me and is only my opinion, is that this is all set up. I believe that Obama wanted Wright to defend himself and say these ludicrous things. He needed to disown Wright. He realized that stating Wright was like an uncle that says things that you don’t agree with sometimes didn’t satisfy the Americans. He was still getting attacked about it from all sides, republicans and democrats. He couldn’t go back and disown him so he needed something new. I believe they, Obama and Wright, collaborated and planned this. Why would Wright all the sudden so furiously defend himself and what he said all the sudden? Now that it seems that Obama has officially disowned Wright and Wright Obama people won’t ask him about their relationship. I mean, sure he is going to get asked about it now but within a couple of weeks, no one will ask him about this. Wright wants Obama to be president as much as Obama wants to be president, and will do anything to help his friend out.

This is a show…

I mean, you attend a church for 20 years and you don’t know your pastor, even after you have a personal relationship with him? So he didn’t believe all the other sound bites that have been playing over the past few months? These things have already been said and now he disowns them? They need a grammy.

This is perfect timing, this comes out now, he denounces Wright, and this is going to be a gone and forgotten before the primaries.

I wish I always got second chances.

HOW DOES THIS REVEREND GET ALL OF THIS PRESS AND THE CLINTONS FRAUD CHARGES GO UNREPORTED? FIRST TIME HEARING THIS? I’M NOT SURPRISED. BUT A REVEREND’S RIDICULOUS SOAPBOX RANT IS MORE IMPORTANT. FREEDOM OF THE PRESS, HUH? GOOGLE CASE NUMBER: BC304174 - PETER F PAUL VS WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON. THIS CASE IS BASED ON ILLEGAL DONATIONS AND THE CLINTONS EXTREME MEASURES OF COVERING THEM UP. THIS ISN’T NEWS WORTHY? THEY HAD MULTI-MILLIONAIRE AND ENTERTAINMENT MOGUL PETER PAUL IMPRISONED IN ORDER TO SHUT HIM UP. THIS ISN’T NEWS WORTHY? THE CASE IS STILL PENDING AND TOTALLY EXPOSES THE CLINTONS CORRUPTION….. BUT WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT A REVEREND’S EGO RANT AND CONNECT HIM TO OBAMA? ARE YOU SERIOUS? ARE WE NOT WATCHING WHAT THE MEDIA IS DOING WITH THIS “RACE.” IT SEEMS THAT REALITY IS SETTING IN. OBAMA IS THE MOST POPULAR CANDIDATE AND HAS THE GREATEST CHANCE OF WINNING AND MAKING A CHANGE. BUT THERE ARE POWERS THAT ARE ALREADY IN PLACE THAT DON’T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. 2 FREEDOMS ARE BEING USED AGAINST THE MASSES. SPEECH AND PRESS….. AND ITS WORKING.

Gabe, let’s see what the Rev’s humungous ego has to say or not to say…then we’ll know, people are not stupid. He is the weaker candidate.

DO YOU SMELL A SET UP BY OBMA’S CAMPAIGN

The Republican Party are claiming that the Obama Campaign have set up the whole three day whirlwind tour of Rev. J. Wright and it climaxed with the International Press rehashing of things he had already stipulated in previous sermons and previous TV shows.

That allowed Obama to come right out and distance himself from Rev. Wright because it was wearing down on his campaign…

They assumed the GOP will now stop running the Rev. Wright and Obama relationship for the past 20 years…

Will not happen the GOP believe it was all a farce, in an effort to permit Obama to act outraged at the AUDACITY of his PASTOR, who call Obama just another politician, who would know better than his mentor the Rev. Wright (Right?)
Rev. Wright “he(Obama) does what he does and I as a pastor do as I do”

So it takes Obama 20 years to disconnect himself from his pastor. He saw the snippets and they were the same things he said at the NPC. So is it only after he sees his polls drop that he disconnects him? He’s doing what a politician does. He does things to deal with polls. Exactly what J. Wright said. J. Wright knows Obama more than anyone. His relationship with J. Wright is longer than his marriage to Michelle. If it takes him this long to realize that J. Wright is not good for him, how long will it take him to realize that meeting with Ahmahdinajad is a bad choice?

Wright and Obama are as close now as they ever were.
This recent resurrection is to keep you from finding out Haskert is firing the prosecutor in the Rezko trial.
Wright is a character issue.
Rezko is a criminal issue.

Obama enjoyed people like J. Wright for 20 yrs. As long as Obama is the nominee
J. Wright and his congregation will take any heat from Obma then will happily embrace
him later on!.

**** Obama stuttered a lot and looked as he had a great deal of difficult saying
anything against his pastor, his words where like saying sorry but I feel pressured
to do this now. ****

The last thing this country needs at this time is trying to clarify Obama’s
poor caracter and lack of judgement choosing his antiamerican church and friends.

Obama’s true colors are obvious by now and he should be pressured to drop
out for lack of qualification as an loyal American and inexperience. period!

Obama’s Identity Crisis

Although he presents himself as a healer of differences, the presidential candidate’s own racial struggle paints a conflicted portrait.

by Steve Sailer

When Obama briefly surfaced in the media in 1990 as the first African-American editor of the Harvard Law Review, Random House handed him a book contract. Originally, he intended to write a disquisition on race relations, but the puerility of his theorizing discouraged him. He turned instead to writing about what he finds truly fascinating: his relatives and himself.

Obama’s gift for restructuring the past into emotionally and aesthetically satisfying patterns made for an uneasy hybrid of fact and fiction, with composite characters, clearly made-up dialogue, and even preposterous dream sequences. Recently, the Los Angeles Times revealed that the tale of his one triumph during his four years as a young ethnic activist in Chicago—getting asbestos removed from a public housing project—excluded all mention of the veteran local agitator, Hazel Johnson, who might deserve more of the credit.

Nonetheless, Dreams is an impressive book. The abstract lessons he claims to draw from his life aren’t memorable, sapped as they are by the pervasive insincerity about race that America demands of its intellectuals, but Obama has a depressive’s fine eye for the disillusioning detail. His characters, real or synthetic, are vivid, and he has an accurate ear for how different kinds of people speak. The book’s chief weakness is that its main character—Obama himself—is a bit of a drip, a humor-impaired Holden Caulfield whose preppie angst is fueled by racial regret. (Obama has a knack for irony, but of a strangely humorless flavor.)

Why haven’t many grasped the book’s essence? First, Obama’s elegant, carefully wrought prose style makes Dreams a frustratingly slow read, which may explain why the book was remaindered in 1995, and why so few of the many who have purchased it following his famous keynote address at the 2004 Democratic convention appear to have read much of it.

Second, the plot isn’t that interesting: his first three decades are too lacking in incident to make a page-turning story. Obama has led a fairly pleasant existence, with most of its suffering and conflict taking place within his own head as he tries to turn himself into an authentic angry black man.

I just found this amusing. It’s all the writer’s opinion of course.

Very disturbing to realize that Obama can sit dumbfounded under the tutilage of Wright and not see his divisness, race bating, America hating rhetoric. Moreover, to see that so many African Americans buy the lies hook, line and sinker. I wasn’t born in this country, but I am an American and I am so thankful for what this country stands for. Its disheartening to see it go down the tubes with this type of liberal, divisive, thinking that permeats our society. Is it because you buy the garbage that other countries try to say about America? If it’s so true that we are horrible, why do they all want to come here? If their country isn’t good enough, they want to destroy ours? I wouldn’t vote for this Obama, his deception i
