This is a crap post and a crap story. This is the kind of garbage that keeps us from focusing on the real problems that we have in this country. I have to say that between Hillary, McCain, and Obama he is the one that stays on message, at least tires to. He tries to avoid the type of absolute non-sense that was brought up in the last “debate”.

Once again, I think that we need to refocus on the issues. I do believe that a great deal of Americans are angry and upset with the government, given the precocious predicament that we have been left in because of the failed Bush policies, beginning with a war that should have never been waged in the first place. Senator Obama is correct that we are being distracted with things that will not help us solve the problems that we have overseas, the mortgage MELTDOWN that is occuring for many of our neighbors, the credit and the gas crunch. I wonder if the people who have been giving “political speak” have taken the time to speak to voters and find out what is important to them, or why they feel so disappointed by their government. I am a religious person, and I believe that God will pick the person that is best equipped to handle the mess that will be left by our soon to be former President. That is what we need to focus on, and not these useless distractions.

What day and age do we live in? Since when elitist became a bad thing? Does not it mean superior in intellect? If I needed a president I would need somebody who is 100 times more superior than me. Or is it that we the Americans, the beacons of the free world have lowered our bar for our president? From the responses here it seems we need a guy with enough intellect to mow our lawns, have beer with us and grill some ribs with us. Shame on this group of thinkers.

obama said that his mother recieved food stamps. well if she was doing so while attending school at the same time that he was being raised by granny then she was committing fraud. you can only collect food stamps if the children reside with you. granny made too much money to qualify for the stamps so iguess mom comitted fraud huh? or did obama lie,…again? he also said that there are an awful amount of single parents out there that do not have medical insurance. i say huh? thats a lie too. single parents with children do get free medial insurance from the state in which they reside IF they earn less than a certain amount per year. if they earn more than enough and do not have medical insurance then thats their fault. a single parent can work and raise her children and even if she doesnt qualify for medical insurance, the children will,…free. so why was he saying that single parents dont have medical insurance and that somehow it is the giovernments fault? meaning that if he becomes the president he will see to it that single parents get medical insurance. makes no sense since they already so at taxpayers expense.

I don’t understand why Obama portrays himself as a disadvantage child who grew up with his grandparents in Hawaii, i don’t think that was true. He attended the most expensive school (Punahou) in Hawaii. This is where the rich kids go to school in Hawaii. In fact Steve Case the former owner of AOL graduated from this school.

Obama Elistist?

He apologied about his word choice, but no one in the Media listened as the Clintons faned up the lines.

But the Media will not fan up Clinton’s statement about “She misspoke” What does that mean. She LIED. And will the media ever ask her: If you cannot remember your experience in 1996, will you not forget everthing in the Huge White House in a week? Is this type of forgetfullness not Alzheimer’s Disease?

Obama can’t even be honest about his heritage - if he is only 7% black - it wouldn’t help in in the polls, so he has to run as African American to get those votes. It is unfortunate that African Amerians are voting for someone with the idea they are getting the first African American in the White House when if fact is white, muslim and black and more white and muslim that black. Maybe that explains the comment in his book when he talks about his remaining loyalty to muslims.

Don’t all pounch on me at once, but….if Obama’s dad was of Muslim heritage and Obama’s stepdad was full muslim, why is Obama not an Arab-American? I’m serious….I’d really like to know why Obama supporters think he grew up in the poor areas of America and feel he relates to them. He, himself, grew up quite well off and there are Millions of Americans whose dad left the family unit when the kids are quite young.

actully debbie, obama is 43% arab, 50% white and ONLY 7% black. It was broken down in an article that I read about Obama’s life. His mom is white (50%) his dad black but not 100% meaning obama is not 50% black. somewhere in dads immediate family are 100% arab then trickles down leaving obama 43% arab. obama is 7% black cause of grandmothers side somehwere. i dont really know if its all right but the fact is that obama is more white than he is black. that is why he took many years in trying to determine his own identity. he “found his identy” 10 years ago and thats when he wrote his books declaring himself black. much of the reason for leaning that way was because he actually looks more black than white.
