For the “N-th” time, Obama isn’t naive in thinking that he can pass the peace pipe and all will be well with the country. What he’s offering is simply this, we need a president that is finally going to say “Cut the bull, and lets solve America’s problems.” He is taking that community organizer mentality to the White House to say that the American people should have a say in government because it exists for US. Its a common sense approach. If you and I disagree on things, but we know we have to solve a problem, how difficult would it be to say “lets find some middle ground and solve this problem”? Most times, its about being loyal to a party rather than a country, and that’s what he’s proposing to change. His life’s work up to this point has been just that, and no other current candidate can claim just that. Their life’s work has been inside the beltway.

Here’s one thing I’d like for any one of you to answer… why is it that, when we had this several trillion dollar surplus, we didn’t use any of it to fix the education system, or poverty, or healthcare? Why was Hillary’s universal healthcare proposal discussed behind closed doors instead of on the floor of Congress? Right here in DC… during the 90’s, SouthEast DC was… and remains one of the most impoverished areas of the country. You can literally sit on Capitol Hill and see the poor neighborhoods. Common sense would have told me that the time to fix broken systems was when the money was abundant. As much as I dislike the Bush admin, its not like they broke the systems. They were already broken, but Bush made them worse.

Folks, this is the culture Obama is proposing to change, and he wants the American people to hold those we elect to office accountable. If any of you think that’s a stupid idea, then you are part and parcel the reason why nothing ever gets changed in Washington.

Hillary went to the HS which is an excellent HS with wonderful, hard- working teachers who have a very racially mixed student body and Obama “strolled” down the main street of ritzy historic bethlehem with its cobblestone streets and old lampposts and white storeowners with the Moravian Bookstore and the Moravian Cookstore and the Old Sun Inn. It’s very much like Nantucket. Talk about elite!!! What a wimp. He had secret service men all around him while he tasted his bitter beer.

I got an email from Michael Moore asking for me to vote for Obama. I think he has gotten into that kool aid. At one time I know he supported Bill Clinton, so it appears he may be a little sexist. He is not very well respected so his endorsements mean nothing at this point but at one time I liked his guts.
He lives in Michigan and blames his vote not being counted on the DNC not on Obama. Amazing.
