I felt that all 3 candidates speeches on Monday Night Raw just insulted my intelligence. Not all wrestling fans are hicks, so dumbing it down for us just pisses me off.

Sorry I missed the Raw Wrestling event last Monday Night. People talking about torture, etc., is quite sad,but I am a realist. Tragically the Powers that was,at the time, made a serious mistake in the Policy of the United States of America.,and Terrorism. Had the ""Clintons"" Kept the United States Air Force, Strategic Air Command(SAC) from Standing Down, I can assure you, There would have been an ""OVERWHELMING DEBILLITATING PUNCH"" from SAC, that if the World wanted to see ""Terror"" They whom Love it so very much, would have been Happy to be at their VARIOUS Points Ground Zero's all through out their Various homelands and hideouts. Osama Bin Laden would be in a mountain cave alright, but his Cremains would have been vaporized so quickly when the Ground he stood on, experienced an INSTANT Second of Global Warming of 10 millions degrees. I would suggest to the Next President of the United States, is to reconstitute the Strategic Air Command(SAC) as was designed by the Worlds Finest General, General Curtis E.LeMay,US Air Force, CINCSAC.

Big mistake made by all 3 Presidential Candidates?
By Independent Wrestler Bigtime

Well, in theory, the idea of all 3 Presidential Nominees appearing on RAW seemed like a good idea. After all, WWE has a strong base in the 18-34 demographic, which is the weakest age range amongst voters. So it seemed smart for the Nominees to appear and target that demographic.

However, I have to ask if it was wise from a political standpoint.

WWE was just the focus of Congressional scrutiny for Steroid Abuse and came within a hair of having Congressional Hearings and Investigations. Vince McMahon himself recently mocked Congress and Washington for targeting him.

Considering that all 3 of them appeared, they are on level playing ground because none of them can attack each other over it. In my opinion though, it shows how desperate all 3 of them are. WWE can be seen as a "special interest lobbyist". They have problems with Congress and now they can "call in a favor" with any of the 3, depending on who wins in November.

Personally, I think it was unwise of all of them to appear on that show.

Here’s an interesting summary of the ‘enhanced interrogation’ business from the NYT. Is there a reasonable conservative response, leaving out the usual nonsense about left-wing bias, hating America etc? What do you guys think about torture?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Typically, the U.S. military does not condone torture because, for the most part, information gained in this matter most often proves unreliable. When you use pain to get information, eventually the individual being tortured is just going to tell you what he thinks you want to hear. It also sets a bad precedent for future combat. Senator McCain is firmly against torture for this very reason. That being said, Torture can be highly effective if the individual you are torturing is known to possess the information you need, and time is an imperative. For instance, if "Ali Raghead" has planted a 5 kiloton bomb somewhere in Los Angeles, and you know that he can tell you its location, then I personnally would use torture to extract the information. Torture should not, however, become the norm for U.S. intelligence agencies.

We need more labor stories and this is a humdinger. The SEIU has been using Obama caucus tactics to physically assault and harass female members of the California Nurses Association.

It's a good post showing union violence, but this is nothing new. I had my own little experience with wonderful union members. A few years ago, during an election year, I was coming to a stop light, in the right hand turning lane, in my city. There was a small convention center there and therewas an
obvious Democratic Party gathering from all the people along the streets, some in political costumes, some carrying anti-Republican signs, lining the streets. When my truck came to a halt at the light, (it's a very long light), a person noted a Bush sticker on my rear bumper. He called out to a guy that was standing on the sidewalk right at my open passenger side window. He was wearing a "Halloween" Bush mask and approached my truck and began swearing at me. For a short while I said nothing, but after a time I finally lost my temper and began hurling back a few choice (non-swearing) words. When he turned to call out to a few guys to get "tough" with me, I asked if these were paid union "goons". He said you bet they are and the biggest guy reached in through the window to try and grab me out of my truck.
(By now there were four guys there.) Since they were grabbing my right arm, which is disable and pretty useless, I don't have a lot of strength in it, they were able to pull me hard enough that my foot came off the brake pedal and my truck started rolling forward. I pulled back to set my foot on the brake again (one "goon was standing in front of the truck and I almost hit him along with other "wonderful" Democrats in the crosswalk), and then, luckily the two cops in an unmarked squad, parked in a gas station behind them, watching all of this, finally got out of the car and asked them to "behave themselves", by then the light turned green and the cops told me to just move along.

Ahh..the American Labor movement...such nice people.
