If we’re to have any chance of salvaging this country from the incredible damage done to it by the Republicans over the last 8 years and McCain’s desire to continue down the same path of destruction, then someone who can unit everyone needs to be elected. All of the the Hillary supporters who claim they will vote for McCain, if Barack is nominated, were never going to vote for him anyway. It was all a ruse about getting her nominated because she’s the most likely to lose to McCain in the general election. Her baggage train carries a lot more than Barack’s and she will be shredded by the so called “Straight Talk Express” and the R machine.

That said, Hillary is not hated by Barack’s supporters and they will unite behind her and vote for her over McCain. Barack will endorse her as well, if she is nominated. Will she and her legitimate supporters do the same if he’s nominated? Yes, I believe they will.

None of the candidates is without a number of gaffes, mis-spoken thoughts, mis-remembered history, or less than desirable affiliations. Throw them out and start over or begin examining the important issues facing our nation and the world? At the moment, it just reminds of me of a shark feeding frenzy. Are we so easily duped? If all the energy put into writing the vitriol I’ve read on this site were channeled into constructive critique and into thoughtful analysis and action, then I think we might have a chance.

A mob has no brain-just knee jerk reactions and easy to push in any direction. So lead or be lead. To make an informed choice means being responsible for checking facts, taking nothing as fact out of context, listening a little less to the overheated talking heads, and using your brain instead of your gut. Think about where you want to be four years from now and what kind of country you want to be living in. Can we do it? Yes, We Can.

I am beginning to find the types of people that Barak Obama has associated with during his life truly amazing … Rev. Wright, Mr. Ayers, and on and on. No wonder he is always trying to change the subject. No wonder he was annoyed with the discussion in the recent debate. The guy wants to cover up his past. It is amazing that people would even consider this guy as a candidate for President. But then again, you can’t expect a lot from little Dean in the DNC, Ted Kennedy and many of these other people that are pushing him as the Democratic candidate … they demonstrate how much the really “hate” Hillary and Bill Clinton.
